Love this place! A line can form so get here early! Great spot to watch new movies, snack bar all the works.
Historic and Nostalgic, best way to see a summer release
Get two movies for the price of one at a traditional movie theater. $10 per adult $5 for kids. They usually play the most popular movies in theaters, as of writing the remake of IT and Annabelle: Creation.
Great deal for the family great selection for menu really nice experience brought back memories of when I was a little kid and went to a drive in theater glad this place is keeping the tradition alive
Love the drive in! Great experience for parents to share with their kids. The only thing I would change is the pizza, which is terrible.
Good time with the wife and kids good price for 2 movies food wasn't bad on price overall had a great time. Actually first time at a drive in better than a theater
Love this spot; nice area & good food
I really do love coming here with my family. While I wish the picture was clear and not so dark, it may just be an issue that can't control.
Nice old-school drive-in. Reasonably priced double features. Family-friendly. Will definitely visit again!
A fun place to see a movie. They have a snack bar and the owners are very nice people. The price is also reasonable.
Love this place even if I have to park in the back because of the size of my truck. Always clean and friendly and great prices.
Loved it but there were little kids running around during the movie. It didn't bother me but seems kinda dangerous at a drive in
The people are great and very friendly! The kids love it and can't wait to go again.
Five stars huge screen the best concession stand in the area owner is very nice and personal able get the word out, Hollywood drive in is the place to be
Love this place, have been coming here since I was a kid and just took my son here for his first movie!
First time in drive-in movies. Great experience. Positively surprised on picture & sound quality. Defo going again some day.
One of the best drive-ins in the area. Hollywood has the largest screen
Amazing sound and picture quality. Nice place to spend with family and kids and watching movies under the stars.
Great drive in theatre experience. Good concession food, including large whole pizza's.
Great place to catch a couple of movies for one low price. Snack bar has a good variety and reasonable prices
Food sizes are smaller, thanks joe biden. It's a drive in with bathrooms, food and a screen, what else do you need...besides hollyweird to make good movies again.
Hadn't been to a drive-in for many years. Hollywood had refreshment, wonderful prices, and with regards to their movie location screen and sound - perfect.
Old school drive in. It's a tremendous way to watch movies. Snack bar had good food with friendly helpful staff. My family had a great time. I recommend it for anyone looking for a great experience.
Always enjoy it here. Short glitch in first movie but they got it fixed. First time that has ever happened while I've been there. Stuff happens. Lucky to have the Hollywood so close! Always super nice staff and very family friendly!
There's only one screen, so there's very little ambient light to make the screen hard to see. Great visuals and sound! And the amount of grass to hang out on is such a bonus. I love it here!
Love this place! Would really like to see more classic movies played here. I can go watch the latest Marvel Hero Sequel 87 anywhere. I'd prefer something a bit different for a drive in. Great place to watch a movie though!
Love this place. I got a lot with my kids over the summer. It's a cheap thing to do. The snack bar is pricy. But that's the only way they make money. Most of the ticket prices go right to the movie company. I will be going every year.
The Hollywood Drive-In Theatre is a very fun place to go and watch a movie outside instead of inside a building. You tune in your radio to the specific station to hear the correct audio, and watch the projection outside. It is suggested that you bring blankets as it can get pretty cold at night time. You should also bring a blanket to lay on the grass if you are not watching inside the car.
Love the place for my family, food, and two movies for one price! Outdoor in your own car comfortably 😎 Always a yearly event for us!
Fun, inexpensive night out with friends or family. Nostalgic, even though the hang-on-window speakers are gone (I'm old, I remember them). But the screen and sound is still great. Americana.
Great location shorter cats in front monster trucks back by consession stand. Great menu choices including pizza, cheese burgers, slushies & icecream to go with your nachos, coffee, popcorn & soda. Check out the movie option online.
I have been coming here since I was a child and it has always been a good experience. They show two movies for a fair price and they can fit alot of vehicles in here. You will mostly find childrens movies here. The concession stand had a good varity of food to get.
Been going there since I was 8 or so. I'm 64..lol. wonderful old time family fun. A family run place that's entertained mine for decades.
I always love it here. Easy parking and itsnon a hill up towards the screen so your view does not get blocked. Projector brightnessnis good.
Love the Hollywood drive in. Been going for many years. Always play great movies, good food and nice space for the cars. Grateful to have drive in movie theater.
Friendly, family atmosphere and AWESOME Brownie a la mode! Had to take half of it home with me! Thank you for your hospitality, Frank!
Love the Old Time atmosphere. Wholesome place to bring your family. Staff are very pleasant. Have been going for years with my kids and now my grandkids.
great food for a movie place. family loves to lay out blankets and sleeping bags. remember a portable radio, and bug spray, both make it just that much more pleasurable
Two great movies playing and needed a jump for my car when leaving and the owner ran around in a golf cart starting everyone's car who was stuck there with a smile on his face ! Thank you so much.... didn't have to wait for AAA ! 😊
Great place to have a movie night! Reasonable prices on admission and food. Movie clarity and sound was very high quality. Worth the trip!
I love watching movies here. Their food stand has good food for the price. Their bathrooms are good enough for public bathrooms. I can't wait to watch more movies here next summer.
I've always been a big fan of the Drive~In. If the weather is right and the company is right- then your going to have a great time. And please don't bring your own food, they have a concession stand- and the food is fantastic.. we want the drive~in to be around a long long time
Staff are friendly, pricing is reasonable. With few options in the capital region for drive-in theaters, The Hollywood Drive-In is our family's go-to place. Their system for car placement (car vs. truck) is fair and the property is well-maintained. Highly recommend for a fun night out!
Can't beat it! Love the drive in. Food prices are actually reasonable. If you want to sit outside I suggest bringing a small radio. Also cover up - the mosquitoes are blood thirsty!!! But you owe it to yourself to come once a year.
The staff here is always informative and makes sure to enforce their policies. We've been to another where the big trucks were up front with their hatches open and they didn't care. Hollywood makes sure to let everyone one of their patrons enjoy the show while maintaining clean grounds affordable food and again enforcing their policies so everyone can see the screen.
Affordable, plenty of spaces and a large screen. What more could you ask for? I enjoyed watching Blues Brothers on my birthday last month with my family. The second feature was Animal House, and I wish we could've stayed, but 1am is a little late to be leaving the movies for me, even at 22 lol. I know it's gotta be dark in order to see the screen, so maybe it'd be nice to see a feature in the early fall. Will definitely be back
I absolutely love Hollywood Drive-In. There food is extremely fair priced, like...$1.50 for popcorn $2.50 for a cheeseburger $4 for a milkshake etc. The atmosphere is nice, just a great experience all around.
Clean. Food is good and hot! People are always nice to my family! Excellent movie night without a problem! Saw Shang-Chi and Free Guy. Both movies were excellent! Thank you Hollywood Drive in for a good night!!
This place is classic. The concession stand offers a wide array of food and drinks and I highly suggest buying from them. It keeps the place open. The projector is digital and the picture is crisp. Great memories of this place as a child and now I get to bring my kid here. In fact this is the fourth generation of family to love this place.
We normally go to Jericho but decided to try out Hollywood due to the great reviews. Video quality was excellent and the snack bar seems newly renovated. Lots of great viewing areas with little to no blocked views. Popcorn was delicious and I have heard that they hide free pass tickets in some bags. Wasn’t too crowded which we really liked. Price was 12$ for adults and 3 and under were free. We brought our 2 and a half year old and he had a blast! We had a great time tonight and will definitely be making Hollywood our new go to spot. :)
This place is the best! Ive been going here for as long as I can remember, so many good memories! Good fun for the whole family!
So fun! Extra $5/person if you want to bring outside food. Just like any place, respect the rules and you will have a great time! thank you to the staff for all your hard work and patience!
You can't beat The Hollywood Drive-In for a fun and affordable night. The grounds are always spotlessly clean, the ticket prices for a double feature are unbelievably inexpensive, the staff is always friendly, and the food options are extensive, delicious, and priced very reasonably (try the coffee milkshake, it's awesome). If you want a night of good old fashioned fun that won't break the bank, stop in at The Hollywood. You'll be glad you did.
I was originally wary of going here bc it's right next to a 55 road..however you never notice any traffic so that's nice. The snack bar is very affordable. The food is yummy. Everyone working there is very friendly, and patient, be sure to leave a tip 😜 This is my first year coming to this drive-in, Jericho being my go-to..but the movie choices have been way better, and they were the first drive-in to open this season. I look forward to the rest of the summer ☺️
What a fantastic time! Great concessions, great price for 2 current films. They are clear about welcoming dogs (phew, he lives going to the movies!) and a tiny fee is charged if you bring food from home but honestly, the popcorn is truly amazing and there so many delicious choices to choose from. Nice big parking area so you don't feel squished in. Nice picture quality, it's really the best way to watch movies while the pandemic continues. Go check it out!
Feel extremely welcome every time we go. Have been there numerous times. I miss the swings down by the concession. It's great to see a family so in love with their business and their customers. I genuinely feel my patronage is much appreciated
We had a great experience here a while back, the drive in with decent food, popcorn and drinks was hopping the night we went! What's great is you pay to see two movies in a row so you really get the value for your dollar. We live quite a ways away, hope to get back there again when our son is a little bigger so he can enjoy the old fashioned outdoor theater experience with us!
It was fun. The snack bar is reasonable.space for cars is large. Nobody was piled in each others space.
Digital or led picture is a little dark. Very good staff, consession is what you would expect at a Drive In theater. All in all good fun.
It's a great place. Love this drive in. Been to countless times.
Super fun time every time we go. Nice grounds. Great snacks for sale. Nice family fun.
Cool drive in, you dont see a lot of these anymore. The food at the concessions building was extremely expensive though.
Love the place. It brings you back to a different time...that is until you go to buy some snacks. Staff isn't normally very friendly and the whole atmosphere is different inside the snack shack. Other than that it is a blast.
We haven't been to the drive in for years. It was a good experience. Not my kind of movies playing but I would go back for different movies.
If u are going for the first time, make sure you know how to turn off your ALLTIME RUNNING DAYLIGHTS off, and ur car stereo has a good sound system. Then enjoy two great movies at a price of one :)
My son and I love it here we as often as we can. Love the people, the food ,and the $$$. Have been going for years and will continue to go for years to come.
Def comparable to the other drive inns in the area. Ticket price is $1 more then others, also this theater is only open fri- Sun also SUVs must park pretty far away from screen
A lovely throwback American drive in movie theater. They prices are ok for two major feature movies, definitely cheaper than an indoor theater. The classic snack bar just brings back so many memories from my childhood. The food is your typical snack bar variety of hot dogs, burgers, pizza, fries, popcorn, ice cream and candy. Food prices are very good. The viewing quality of the movie and was great, looks beautiful with the forest backdrop. The sound is outstanding coming across your car radio. The parking is spacious and makes every seat perfect. The bugs can be an unwelcome guest but hey it's a drive in. The bathrooms are in need of upgrades but again it's a drive in. My family and I truly love this place, it's perfect for a romantic date or a fun night out with the family.
Very nice place to relax and enjoy some good movies. It just ends pretty late at night and the food was not much of a selection. However, AMAZING french fries are sold here- don't pass on the fries if you like 'em!
Tons of fun for kids and adults. Come early and spend time with family tossing the football or chatting. The price for 2 movies is cheaper than 1 regular movie ticket. They have a great variety of food at the concession stand.
Wonderful place. I love hanging out in the parking field with my family and listening to the music on their radio station with my family and getting delicious food from the concession stand before watching movies on the giant screen surrounded by fireflies. We try to come every year.
Clean. Good prices. Pizza is delicious.
I absolutely love this place. I don't think I've ever had a better movie experience. You get two movies and literally everything is less expensive than going to a standard indoor theater. I can sit outside in the open air, move around a little, talk to someone next to me without ruining anyone's experience, control the volume and sound equalization... And if I want to sit in the car, I can also control the temperature shut out other people's noise. I'd be be there all the time if the movie studios put out more things worth seeing. The place is an absolute gem.
Closest place to see a drive-in movie to Berkshire County Mass. Great drive-in movie theater. Current price $$ for 2023 is $11 per person & see 2 new movies back-to-back. It's well kept with grassy parking, not dirt. Full concession stand to meet all your concession needs. Including fried foods & pizza by the slice or get a whole one. Drive-in can fit at least 100 vehicles. Bathrooms aren't too great & car in front of me blocked a small part of the screen. Overall, 90% happy with this visit.
This was my first experience at a drive in theater. I absolutely loved it. For 4 adults and 2 kids it was $50 to get in which isn't bad at all! The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because the audio from the vehicles had like 3 different delays, one was even a whole minute behind, which made the quieter scenes impossible to hear. Other than that I definitely recommend it!!
Had a great time! The screen is Huge! The picture quality is great!!! All new Digital video. Great staff. Food was okay. I didn't like people coming late and trying to squeeze their huge SUV upfront else I would have given it 5 Stars. My son had a great time! I wish I could post a better picture.
Food was over priced and not great as it was prepared beforehand.and to many rules and confusion where to park hope you dont have a suv..oh and p.s. bring bug spray..
I use to bring my family here when my kids were little ! We still go here. !hi way drive thru! Drive inns is cleaner and has 4 movie screens!! Up your standards!!! There more with rules
Well $11.00 per adult charged my eleven yr old grandson this price an my three year old great nephew $6.00 an then a 4.00 charge for a small cooler. Then went to concession stand an two chilli hot dogs that were room temperature an a slushy that taste like plastic nasty went in the trash . I parked in Back (SUV) other mini vans an suv park were everywhere hard too see movie screen. Total cost of nite out at the driveins, about 75.00. 😔
Lots of rules about who can park where and where you can set up chairs, what you can bring in/cooler fees etc. Concession stand was good, plenty of choices. Kids loved the milkshakes. Fried dough bites seemed to be made from cut up soft pretzels which was odd. Not a bad spot, but not a favorite.
We really wanted to support local business and such an icon as our local drive-in movie theater. I read all of the guidelines and policies online first. Even decided to buy the overpriced refreshments in the concession stand rather than bringing our own from home. So you can imagine my disappointment when we were relegated to the back row because we drive an SUV. I'm so glad I showed up an hour and a half early so we could sit in the back row while other similar sized SUVs were allowed to park in front of us. Apparently the policy is applied very arbitrarily and it depends who's manning the booth while you arrive. We could have taken a different car but didn't because that rule was not included online. We are already braving coronavirus, heat/humidity, mosquitoes and every other biting winged creature in order to support a local business and to enjoy some diversion in the middle of a pandemic. It would have been nice to not be sent to the back row for the same price.
Was a awful experience made us pay a extra 10 dollars because we brought in cheesecake for my birthday got yelled at by multiple employees was disrespected awful experience will never go back
Very inhospitable and unfriendly business owners. Prepare for unprovoked, accusatory confrontation. Not a place to escape and relax.
We were so excited to go, but when we got there they weren’t even open despite stating that there would be a 10 o’clock movie . Disappointing but not the end of the world. We drove 30 minutes to get there so it would’ve been nice if they had put a notice online or something that they wouldn’t have been running that night.
We drove over from Berkshire County. There is a drive-in closer to us, but we had heard so many great things about Hollywood Drive-In, that we decided to give them a try. Our family went in 2 cars..My husband & I and 3 grandkids in one car, and my adult kids, and more grandkids in the other car. My husband and I drove up to the ticket booth first. I told the blond, slightly heavyset woman working the booth..that I was paying for both cars. She gave us our tickets, and then my son driving behind us..pulled up to the booth and she gave him his tickets. We drove into the parking area, parked side by side, and settled in for our movies. About a 1/2 hour to 45 mins later, the woman from the ticket booth walked up to my son's car and said "I need to see your tickets now"! My son said, "Okay, I dropped them between my seats..just give me a minute to find them". Then I said to the woman, "Don't you remember that I paid for both cars"? She looked at me over her shoulder with a nasty expression on her face and said quite loudly, "I NEED TO SEE THEIR TICKETS"!! A minute later, my son produced his tickets, she said, "That's what I needed to see, and walked away". She didn't even say that she was sorry. I mean she was basically accusing us of sneaking people in, even if she didn't come right out and say it. I felt demeaned and humiliated in front of all the people around us. My elderly husband & I certainly don't go around sneaking people into a drive-in. I will NEVER go back to Hollywood Drive-In. It was the most embarrassing night of my life.
I saw the first Marry Poppins at this drive in so you can imagine how I felt bringing my twin granddaughters to see a movie here, just the three of us. First, I dive a 2012 RAV 4. I should also say there was no definition of what the green bar is. When I pulled up the young man asked me if I could take my bike rack off. I said, what? He repeated the question. I told him no. He said then you're going to have to park at the green bar. I asked what the green bar was. He said it's way over on the left or the right. So I drove in on the left, saw no spotd with a green bar so I drove over to the right past very tall SUVs with people sitting on top and if front of them and found what I thought was pretty far over, the view of the screen wasn't the best but I thought I was pretty far over. There was a car about the same size right next to me. I had just finished backing in and was pulling the parking brake when the heavy set blond woman signaled for me to roll down my window. I did and she abruptly and rudely told me I should move my car behind the much taller SUVs I previously described. She said it's where the green bar was after I asked. I said do you see how much taller those cars are than mine, she said in an even more rude tone do you see that rack on your car? And turned and walked away. I put my car back in drive and got a refund. Customer service was no where in this woman's mind. No one acts that way in front of my granddaughters and gets my money. She ruined my memory, our night at the movie and this businesses reputation.
Opening night Finding Dory.Over booked.Cramed in.Cars today are taller.Could not see lower part of screen. Our view was between parked cars.Mini vans to tall to park in front of car.Screen needs to be up higher. For today's cars. Will go back but never on opening night . FOR the money that they raked that night can afford to raise screen.😯
The lady at the booth was very rude and acted like a jerk so we left immediately
My 19 year old son and his girlfriend was just there for tonights movies. First time with out me. I have taken my son since he was 2. He was harassed for bringing a piece of cheesecake for his girlfriend's birthday. They had intentions on buying dinner, popcorn, drinks throughout the night. They were very rudely told they had to pay $5 for the cheesecake and as my son pulled the money out the older lady from the ticket booth said now it is $10, and she said, What are you slow. My son and his girlfriend ended up leaving way before the movie started. So disappointing Hollywood Drivin. Way to welcome the next generation that pays you. We will get the word out to not patronize your business.
If there was a zero star option I would MOST DEFINITELY rate this place with a zero. The staff is very disrespectful and beyond rude. A blonde heavy set woman who came up to our car and gave a very nasty attitude towards us, we have a bike rack on our car that can’t be removed. The green bar looks very close to yellow and it was confusing, it wasn’t very clear on where to park. Our car is smaller than the others so it would be hard to see the screen. This was the most embarrassing night ever. This woman should be kicked off of staff IMMEDIATELY. I’m very dissatisfied and will never come here again.
Have been going here since I was a child! My mother was raised out there and was brought to this drive in when she was a child. The owner Frank had taking it over from his father. Frank is a very nice man his wife on the other hand is very rude and obnoxious!!! I have a child 10 years old so we went to the drive in tonight 6/28/25 to see Megan 2.0. When we arrived we paid for 2 adults and a child. 31.50. Watched the movie and in the way out put our trash in the cans near admission building. Laurie the owners wife was standing outside the building so I said have a good night and my 10 year old also said to her have a good night. She replied when you come back the next time it’s going to be different. Me not knowing what she meant by that asked oh what’s gonna be different? She replied I seen your daughter and she’s not 10! I said she’s not? She was born 9/17/2014. She said she is big she isn’t 10. As my daughter may appear older she is 10 her father is 6’4 I said and she just graduated the fifth grade. She continued to say nasty things and how everyone always pulls that. Cursing in front of my child. I proceeded to the snack bar to talk to Frank about the situation. He was very apologetic! We walked out and he was walking over to admission building and I was following and she was blowing kisses and waving me on! Will never return there again and am going to look further into reporting for this incident!
Had a terrible experience here. The workers are so rude for no reason. Went down during intermission to get food. Lady at the concession stand was like, “What do you want?” I replied a slice of pizza, she goes, “we didn’t make any, there’s not a lot of people.” I asked about a milkshake, “I cleaned the machine, I’m not making one.” Only popcorn being served. Don’t know why you bother to be open. She could just state nicely that they don’t have anything available but was instead nasty and rude. What’s the point of being open with no food? Also another worker came up to our car and started trying to force my hood open. I was like, “Why are you touching my car?” He doesn’t respond and I was like, “hello?” He’s like, “you need a jump, people said your car needs a jump. Push the button to open the hood, open the hood.” We were like, “we’re all set, we don’t need a jump.” So weird not to talk to people and start pawing at their car, even is we needed a jump.
Some guy interrupted the movie to make an announcement and then accidentally muted the movie audio for like ten minutes!! When I complained I was told that they weren't going to do anything about it, they didn't rewind or give out any refunds. They were super rude. Sucks, because the rest of my experience was good, and it's a really cute place. I just missed a huge chunk of the movie I paid to watch and then they were rude about it on top of it.
Tried to come with my family tonight. Arrived at 7pm when they state they open on Sunday. Waited on the road until 7:30 for a man to come up to the car and say they weren't opening today. Owners need to use their social media page or website to announce closing in a timely manner.
