I had the Chicken Karaage Japanese fried chicken with Black Tonkotsu ramen, and they were both nice. I especially liked the mayonnaise that they had on the side for dipping, as it combined with the crunchy lettuce underneath tasted great and as a nice refresher in between bites.
We came here for my daughter’s birthday and had a really incredible experience! The Tan Tan Men was absolutely amazing perfectly flavored. What really made the night, though, was our waiter. He noticed I liked spice and went above and beyond by bringing out two different types of heat to customize my bowl: a powder for extra flavor and a liquid spice that was seriously hot but delicious! It’s rare to find such attentive service. We’ll definitely be back!"
Hands down the best ramen in the metroplex. There is no wrong choice here when it comes to ramen, and the takoyaki is the best I’ve had outside of Japan (yes, I realize how pretentious that makes me sound, but it’s the truth!). Superior service, amazing atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and come pay this place a visit!
I was greeted with a warm welcome the moment I walked in. The food was served promptly and at the perfect temperature, and everything tasted excellent. The lively kitchen atmosphere added an extra layer of excitement to the experience. I’ll definitely be back.
Our server Bailey was amazing and very understanding. I ordered a ramen that I didn’t end up liking and she let me order something different and was able to comp the other order. She was just overall really friendly and welcoming. If you get a chance, go visit bailey and tell her I sent you!
Hanabi has long been my favorite ramen place, I don’t think I’ve ever ordered something from here I didn’t enjoy. The service is usually fast and they are kind. I only wish they would bring back their onigiri!!
Great "hole in the wall" place. Well worth it to enjoy some delicious ramen. Parking is a bit tricky as its located in a plaza with limited parking. Once inside you'll forget your in a plaza. We definitely will be back.
My favorite ramen spot in Fort Worth! Hanabi Ramen & Izakaya consistently delivers amazing broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and super fresh izakaya dishes. I even got to meet one of the owners, Kristina, and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. If you’re searching for authentic Japanese food or the best ramen in Fort Worth, this is the place to go.
Hanani Ramen was recommended to me in a foodie group, and it definitely lived up to the praise. We tried the Shoyu and Spicy Tokyo Tonkotsu ramen—both were excellent in their own way. The Shoyu had a deep, savory broth that was comforting and classic, while the Spicy Tokyo Tonkotsu packed a flavorful punch without overwhelming the richness of the pork-based broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings—from the melt-in-your-mouth chashu to the jammy egg—were spot on. The balance of flavors really showed the care put into each bowl. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you're a ramen lover, Hanani Ramen is absolutely worth the visit.
This is probably my third time here. I've been here for an early lunch in the past. What I appreciated - beside the tasty, hearty ramen - is the chill, subdued atmosphere. This time I brought my wife (her first time) on a Friday night. My only complaint is they were blasting pop music on the house speakers. My wife ordered the kaarage chicken (spicy and slightly sweet chicken breast) and some fried rice. I got the half-in-half spicy black tonkatsu and kara miso. If you get the half-and-half your choices are the few listed. I'd prefer it if we could mix/match anything in the half and half. The spicy tonkatsu wasn't too spicy. Just enough to make the nose sniffle a little. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I have never had a bad meal here. Strongly recommend coming here if you want some fresh tasting ramen. One warning: If you come on at night, especially on a weekend night, be prepared to park far from the location or drive a lot to wait for parking. Parking is hard to come by.
HOW IS THIS PLACE NOT CONSTANTLY BUSY?!?! Their food is AMAZING. Their service is AMAZING. Their restaurant looks AMAZING!!!! There's always sometime to greet you as soon as you walk in, there's a small cozy bar just inside the door, an awesome little area with a large round table that would be perfect for a group as it's a little separated from the rest of the place, and past that there are cozy booths and large tables to accommodate any group. The food is incredible! Best gyoza I've ever had... Like seriously! Gyoza happens to be a huge favorite of mine and this is the only place I'd recommend it! The curry is perfect, spicy but not hot and packed full of amazing complex flavors. There's another chicken app there, starts with a k I think but I can't remember - anyway figure it out and order that immediately! It's savory bites of real chicken in a spicy sauce that has hints of sweet and lots of yummy spicy that doesn't burn your mouth 🤤 and these are just the apps I've ordered on my last two visits... So when I say run doing walk to this restaurant and order you any of the ramen dishes - I'm dead serious. It's the food your soul doesn't know it needs! So far I've tried 5 different ones and they're so amazing I can't pick one to recommend. Not only is their food beyond delicious - it's consistently amazingly delicious. And that's not easy to find nowadays!! Grab your friends and have dinner here tonight!
Been to all 3 locations and nothing like the one in FW. Also, they have a BAR!! It’s clean, decent & friendly staffs It can get pretty busy after 6pm during the weekend. I’ve only waited 15min on a Saturday. I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 2-3 yrs nothing has changed food still delicious !! 04/21/2023 Update: still my favorite spot, my go to place for Ramen. Never a disappointment

OK after this place, I am 100% on the Ramen train now. The setting of the restaurant is outstanding although the parking could be very difficult. I recommend going early It's definitely built for d…
Food was awesome and the service was great. We really enjoyed this place. parking was a bit rough but not terrible.
There was about a 10 minute wait although they got us in 2 minutes. We sat down and immediately got our drinks and ordered. After, our Ramen came in 3 minutes. Very quick service and the Ramen was …
Very quick service, reasonable price, good food, but found a hair in the rice bowl. Nice interior decor. All the staff we encountered were friendly. All menu items are priced very reasonably. The speed of food serving was impeccable. Our server came back and checked with us at the right frequency and refilled our drinks. The only incident we had was there was a hair found in our rice bowl. It was a few inches long. As some of the kitchen staff didn’t wear a hat/hairnet, this didn’t seem that surprising. We didn’t make a fuss about this at the scene, but would like to share this in my review. If you care about sanitation a lot, you might want to rethink before going to this place.
The food was good but I’ve honestly had better, I would definitely eat here again though, I just wish they had hoison sauce and more flavor in the ramen. :)
Stopped in for lunch at Hanabi Ramen, and it totally hit the spot. The broth was rich and flavorful, noodles had the perfect texture, and the toppings were fresh. The staff was super friendly and quick, which made it a great lunch stop. Cozy atmosphere, clean, and comfortable — I could’ve stayed longer just enjoying the vibe. I’ll definitely be back to try a different ramen bowl next time! It is my go to whenever I’m in town.

Food came out pretty quick and was a great portion. I'm pretty picky with tonkotsu, and I'll say that it's definitely a delicious meal. The prices weren't too unreasonable either, about 20 dollars …

Love the food! Best I've had in years. parking and staff are hit or Miss but you have got to try most everything on the menu! Tasty!!!
I ordered the garlic ton katsu barely any garlic taste to it at all . The chashu it was extremely disappointing it's like they only boiled the meat there was no char or sear to the meat.. so with that said it left it flavorless.. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed, and don't think I'll be returning back. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff was awesome the food was a 3 at best..

Went here on a Saturday as a suggestion from someone as a good ramen restaurant, I got the chicken ramen & gyoza, the gyoza was okay but the ramen was like noodles in water, the broth had no flavor and wasn’t clear at all. I added chili oil on the side and it was just oil, no spice at all. The chicken was also flavorless so I can’t say that I would return.
If you are passionate about food, especially ramen like I am, PLEASE read this. I have 10 years in the restaurant industry, and 2 as a GM for a Ramen shop. I came during noon around when they open, and it was very easy to get seated. Only one other table. I was immediately greeted by the waitress who looked EXTREMELY annoyed she took me. There was only one other table on the other side in a different section. I smiled and was friendly since maybe people have bad days, but this attitude carried throughout my entire 20-25 minute stay. I ordered the ‘Kara Miso’, and it came out relatively fast (ramen doesn’t take too long to prepare). That was nice and gotta give credit for presentation and time waiting. The colors and looks were good, but I noticed a few things. There are two THIN, SMALL pieces of chashu hidden in the bowl. Absolutely NO taste and was very bland - I was so disappointed about this as it can usually be one of the best experiences about the bowl. (There is ground chashu I found in the bowl which tasted normal unlike the two slices). Second was the smell - it was INCREDIBLY fishy. Now, ramen can have dashi which is made from fish, but the overwhelming smell was incredibly off putting for a chicken/ pork broth. It smelled terrible and pungent to say the least, and not warm and inviting. I mixed my bowl together in case the cook just added something on top last second, and the smell still persisted. Worst smelling ramen I’ve ever had. Third was the taste - Ramen is supposed to be incredibly savory, and can be described as Umami, even in texture. The added chili oil(?) was their version of spice & gave it a great color. It floated on top of the bowl which you can see in pictures, but was NOT spicy whatsoever (unless you’re 5 or 70 and can’t handle even black pepper). The taste was off… it was missing a lot of elements that make ramen delicious, but just ended up having a very intense fishy, fermented flavor. The broth was incredibly weak, and I couldn’t finish the whole bowl. All in all, the place is fast and gets your food out. It’s a cool looking hole-in-the-wall, without giving you the suprise “wow, this food is hidden gem!” (Because it’s not). If you have the palate of a 7 year old and only eat chicken tenders, or eat at Lubbys/ Golden Corral, then this may be your flavor profile. The food is not appetizing, but it is edible. I honestly do NOT know how this place has so many positive reviews. I’m shocked, honestly. I powered through my $16 bowl because ✨money✨. The staff looked ANNOYED the entire time. I didn’t even do anything I tried my best to smile and be friendly 🙃🥲 2.5/10 experience. Wabi house down the street has probably the only edible ramen in Fort Worth that’s worth the cost. Please, don’t spend money here. I’m tired of terrible restaurants over charging for the simplest, cheapest, crappiest foods. Hopefully someone sees this from the restaurant as I don’t want to bad mouth them for the future, but maybe take some feedback (smile at customers?).
While we were greeted warmly upon arrival and the food itself was very good, the overall experience was disappointing due to the service and atmosphere. My partner and I were seated at a noticeably unstable and uneven table in the corner of the room. After placing our drink and food orders, there was an extended delay before the food arrived. Once it was served, we were largely ignored, despite staff frequently standing nearby and not checking in. Given the consistently high standards we have experienced at the Carrollton location, this visit was a significant letdown. The quality of the food did not compensate for the poor service and lackluster atmosphere, and the experience fell well below expectations.
