My wife and I ate at almost every restaurant in Bacalar for our extended vacation and this is the only place we returned multiple times. I highly recommend the pasta. Very unique and well prepared. Best pasta I’ve ever eaten. And the bread bowl it came in was so so good. They serve chips and 3 different salads before the meal comes; very fresh and tasty. Their melted cheese platters are good. I highly recommend cheese only or with bacon, but ask for less meat and more cheese. This is not a bad thing as most places don’t provide enough meat. But honestly, this particular plate should be more cheese than meat in my opinion. We actually took some of the bacon from our cheese platter and added it to our fettuccini Alfredo… that took an very great dish and pushed it over the top. We also had the chicharron with guac, which was surprisingly the best appetizer I’ve had in decades. If you are ever in Bacalar, you would be missing out on the best food near the lagoon.

Thea best of BACALAR!!!! ordered papa al horno with arachera and guac with chicharon and maracuyá and Jamaica drinks and they were more than delicious! The pizza was ok, but not bad , not the strongest but the flavors are amazing , even the chips and salsas are the best. We will be coming back tomorrow .

We went there 2 days in a row because we loved our first experience so much! Everything was delicious, both times!!! The service was great, the music was good (latino music). We ordered the mushroom pasta and we loved the bowl shaped pizza dough! The oven baked potato was also to die for!!! And so were the mushrooms and cheese. My dad and I shared the grilled/sizzling chicken on the second day and we both loved it ! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious as well. Out of 6 different dishes we ordered, we would give 5 stars to each of them, especially considering the cheap prices! :) Highly recommend this place!

This is absolutely the best restaurant we have been to in Mexico. The food was so delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and we only wish we were still in Bacalar so we could eat this food again. Highly recommend!!

Delicious food - we had the sopa de tortilla, the fajitas de arrachera, the papa al horno con arrachera. The limonada was also so fresh. Eduardo looked after us and he was wonderful.

We walked past and saw the Margarita special. Drinks were very good, staff was lovely and we ended up also having something small to eat (queso fundido), which was super tasty! Very nice bar in Bacalar!

Highly recommend. Not many patrons when we walked by and we were skeptical, but when we sat down the service was quick friendly and the wait staff explained everything thoroughly. The food is amazing I ordered the Corte al Gril and when I tell you everything was amazing . Delicious and paired extremely well with the potatoes on the side. The ambiance was great. An overall amazing experience.

Had such an unexpected awesome evening here. At first glance I thought it looked nice and calm passing by (not crowded = I like) Went back after checking in at the hotel and got awesome service (Eduardo is incredible) and an amazing big nacho plate. AND I got corrected rightly in my choice of tequila. …And don’t get me started on the drinks. 😅❤️

Eduardo and the rest of the very friendly and attentive staff at La Bikina are doing a great job! We were made to feel welcome immediately upon arrival there. We had dinner there 3 out of our 5 night…

I went today craving pasta but it was apparently closed for pasta at the moment, not sure how long but that was a bit disappointing. Food was good and good price though.
