Wow!! The tacos here were really good. I loved that it was only 1 tortilla per taco. I had arracherra and cabeza. I wanted lengue but sadly they were out. Horchata was delish. Guac was other worldly 🤯. Stop by and try some food from this super sweet and clean taquiera 🌮

This was our favorite restaurant we went to in Bacalar, we went multiple times during our week there. They were the best tacos we had in Bacalar for a great price.
A really great, local Mexican taco joint. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - we had a mixture of different tacos and a quesadilla each. Great fun to watch one of the team make each wrap from scratch. Great value - around $25 per taco or around $80 for a quesadilla (they’re big!) guac was around $80 too. If you’re looking for low frills, delicious tacos, this is your best bet.
When food is made with love you can taste it. These were quite possibly the best tacos I’ve had in my Yucatan travels. Guacamole was made to order and spiced as desired. The Horchata was made from scratch and I’m going to dream it about for years to come! Or till tomorrow when I go back again for dinner haha! We tried a variety of tacos and the meat was flavorful and tender. Bonus the tortillas are handmade and you can watch them being made.
great service, top tacos, good choice, big portions, guacamole 12/10, affordable price. we went there twice in 2 days. would have gone everyday.

The food served is authentic Mexican and freshly prepared. A special mention goes to the Pastor Tacos — with the addition of local spices and flavors, it was an absolutely delicious dish. The staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely come back if we get the chance!
The owner was so lovely and welcomed me in even though I was very early! The tacos were amazing, authentic as it gets watching the tacos be hand-presssed and cooked in front of you alongside the bbq plate sizzling with meat and delicious smells. The plate of toppings and sauces they provide is great, with freshly chopped onion, lettuce and cilantro with lime. Good balcony area to relax from the heat.
Excellent tacos with handle made Tortillas. If you want to enjoy real and authentic tacos, this is a great place. Highly recommended
A hole in the wall with the nicest staff and super good food!! We went there after trying some sashimi nearby and this place blew our mind! The pork and beef, nachos were huge, beef tongue was great and in general we fell in love with the authenticity and the basic set up it had. Don’t be fooled by the decor or ambience.. it’s often that such places are crazy!

Really good taco's, nice taste overall and the meat was tender. I loved the pork, beef and pastor.
The res de puerco con queso tacos were amazing, best i’ve had so far! With queso those were 27 pesos a piece, other tacos were 22 a piece. Quesadilla was 70, also very good! Go here!
A local recommend us this place. Forget Mr. Taco 🙊. This is the place for the best Tacos in Bacalar. Delicious Tacos, Quesadillas with many options to choose. Very authentic and (I think) newly opened. As a Gringo I can say give it a try and bring some Spanish skills ;)

Very delicious tacos. The staff were lovely and friendly despite us not speaking perfect Spanish. Great place to eat in bacalar to get an authentic local experience :)
Tortillas were made fresh, portions were big, and everything tasted great. The guac and Pastor were excellent, but the Adobada was chewy (but still tasty). Price was very low. Service was quick and attentive. Would have been 5 stars if the steak had better texture.
I got this as a recommendation from another Traveller but the food was disappointing for our group if three we ordered taco, quesadilla and Gringa and for all the food the meat was very chewy and hard. We also had lemonades and there were flies in one glass. Hope it's better on other days. Service was friendly and we loved that you could top the Tacos with cilantro, onion and salad.
