Uff que rica está la comida en este lugar creo que es una de las mejores opciones para cenar o desayunar, sin duda lo recomiendo ampliamente, los precios no están mal para ser un lugar turístico. Me encantaron los chiles rellenos.

Me recomendó el lugar el hotel vías mallas también muy buen hotel bbb... Y uff todo me pareció excelente... El sabor , el ambiente , el servicio... Todo estuvo de PTM ! De 10! Pedí burritos, quesadillas,tacos de guisado, camarones, pescado, tostada, y lo único q puedo decir es q va acorde a su precio cada cosa... Realmente me gustó el burrito y su guisado de carne entomatado... También la quesadilla de chuleta ahumada... Los tacos si están un poco pequeños pero como dije todo va acorde a su precio... La quesadilla tiene la tortilla hecha a mano con chaya ,queso y el guisado... No hubo ninguna queja el precio es muy bueno. Aceptan tarjeta, efectivo. Sin duda volveré... Está recomendado.

Best tacos in town! I really enjoyed the tacos here! It’s a big open place with picnic style eating. You take a pic of the menu on the boards in front and then find a seat. They will come get your order and you’ll be eating soon. Service was good and fast. I’m vegetarian and can attest all the veggies tacos were delish but my favorite was the nopales/chickpeas, spinach and the peppers. I also really enjoyed their lime and cucumber juice. A must have! They offer lots of options and were busy every night I went and walked passed. I highly recommend. They accept cash and credit cards, they have bathrooms and a sink before the bathroom to wash hands because it gets messy haha. They have 3 different salsas you can add to your food. The mosquitoes are a little heavy there in the evenings but I ate quick and it’s all good. A must try!

Exactly what you hope for when you’re craving good tacos. No fuss, just really solid food. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and gone way too fast. The place has a laid-back vibe and the people working there make you feel welcome right away. Simple, tasty, and very hard to beat.

We came to Mr. Taco for lunch after a morning sailing tour. Our sailing guides recommended the restaurant. The guacamole was delicious! Don't skip it! We enjoyed margaritas and chicken quesadillas, both were great. The atmosphere at this outdoor restaurant is great. It's clean, shaded, and the music had people dancing in their seats.

Super fast, cheap, and great vegan options!The cactus with chickpeas was my favorite - I even ordered another one! I would love to see them make a vegan mole one :) 4 tacos for 100 pesos! Definitely touristy with all classic American music but it’s a cute place - very colorful! Would come again :)

Great tacos, menu all on chalk boards above the kitchen, food came extremely quickly (literally 2 minutes). We tried a variety of tacos and went back for more. Ate as much as we could and spent less than 500 peso including soft drinks. Great spot and would recommend as part of any trip to Bacalar.

Had an absolute blast here. The food and the service was great. It was maybe at 30 percent capacity. We had our drinks under a minute of being seated and the food honestly took only a minute or two to come out (both times as we ordered twice). As someone that doesn’t speak Spanish I wasn’t entirely sure what I ordered (even though I got off the English menu lol) but the beef steak and potatoes burrito was amazing. We then got another round tacos which were also amazing as well. Highly recommend! Back again before we leave Bacalar! Lots of good places here but this is my favourite. Love the art and decoration! 🇲🇽🥰

Great price and great service. The chicken taco was terrible but I had three veggie ones which were amazing (think I had the mushroom, pumpkin and nopal; 10/10 recommend those!) Great margarita as well! For something quick with a good vibe I would recommend

Food is excellent, quirky decor was cool and value is good! Initial service is great but don’t expect a return visit from your server to ask if you want anything else, you definitely have to go out of your way to get their attention again…very strange? We were a large group eating and taking for an hour but not one server asked if we wanted another beer. I recommend the sirloin burrito, it was large, packed full of meat and cheese, it was delicious!

All the food was good if not spectacular. Prices were reasonable. We had five tacos and drinks for about $15 US. I especially enjoyed the ceviche tostada. Fish taco was under seasoned and bland I thought, although they do supply three different sauces at the table.

The chicken burrito was probably the best I’ve ever had—flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly wrapped. The restaurant has a nice, traditional Mexican atmosphere, making the experience even more enjoyable. Service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended for a great lunch spot in Bacalar!

Love this taqueria! While most other similar restaurants focus on a handful of meat-only options, Mr Taco has a number of vegetarian options to diversify your diet. The cactus and chickpea is particularly nice. Of the huge selection of different fillings on offer, I have tried 17 different ones. All of them were deliciously full-flavored. 4 or 5 tacos make for a satisfying meal. It's a large space with few staff members. Service was super fast the first time we were there, but quite slow on subsequent visits. I recommended a bit of patience and a cold beer.

La dinámica del restaurante es llegar a ver el enorme menú en español e inglés que tienen. Te sientas y el mesero va a tomar tu orden. Recomiendo totalmente el chicharrón prensado, es delicioso. La gringa de pastor a mi no me gustó, muy seco pero tiene mucho queso. Los tacos vales mucho la pena. Solo te dan un limón por cada pedido. El agua rica y refrescante. Las salsas son buenas.

Fui un día a cenar y me parece que cumple con las tres B (bueno, bonito y barato). Muy bueno en realidad, especialmente las tortitas de pollo en salsa verde me parecieron espectaculares. Lo malo es que al día siguiente quise desayunar y en Google pone que abren a las 9 y no especialmente cierto, me dijeron que hasta las 10:30. Espero lo corrijan.

El mejor lugar que encontremos en Bacalar para comer tacos muy sabroso y económicos. La salsa que pica es riquísima !!!! 🔥 Los meseros la verdad no son nada amables pero el lugar está muy bonito

The arrachera and al pastor were the standouts and definitely the best tacos we tried. The tinga de pollo was my least favorite; it reminded me a bit of chicken with canned tomato soup as a saucem and didn’t have much depth of flavor. The salsas were underwhelming overall. The hottest one had a nice smoky kick, but the other two didn’t really add much. The jugo de tamarindo was actually my favorite part. Not overly sweet, which is rare and very refreshing. okay spot, but nothing particularly memorable when it comes to tacos in Mexico.

If you’re looking for a good meal at a cheap price then this is your place. I can imagine it’s a perfect place for backpackers as it has a great atmosphere of internationals and locals in a very sociable environment and quick service. However, the tacos weren’t the best we have had in Mexico.. but they were the cheapest. Do with that information as you will..

Closer to a 4.5 tho. The place is a cool informal taco shop with a ton to choose from which makes it a more enjoyable experience since there are unique tacos to choose from. I believe the best one I had was the pork in a green sauce (amazing). Try the ones that are different to your usual taco shops, you won't regret it. I wouldn't recommend the Baja fish one. It was just okay because the fish was not fried fresh to order, so was cold and soggy. Pass on that

Fuimos con.mi flia por las recomendaciones y por ser 1ro de año. Hay 20 varidadades de tacos, Probe 4 variedades y en su.mayoria me parecieron deshabridos. 28 mxn los tacos comunes (con arroz/abaratados) y 40 mxn los de pastor, carne de res o arrachera (sin arroz). Los aderezos no.pican. Creo que el lugar esta pensado para turistas extranjeros y no para quien quiere comida mexicana autentica He comido mejores tacos en lugares mas chicos y desconocidos. ( ej Super Taco en Valladolid que queda cerca de estacion ADO). O bien en el Valiente en Bacalar (muy bueno).

Es un lugar muy tusrisrico y la comida no me parece tan auténtica. Los tacos de camarón no tenían un buen sabor. Los tacos de pastor estuvieron bien pero nada extraordinario. El servicio no fue tan amable, el ambiente y la decoración es muy bonita

Not bad, but I ate so much better tacos. Sea food and meat tacos were good, vegetarian tacos was the worst, bone in quasadilla.

Only shrimp ceviche tostada and chicken mole poboabo taco were good otherwise the Chicken tinga. Quesadillas and Pork in green sauce taco were awful. The veg tacos were horrific - spinach was sickly creamy. Service was friendly and decor was nice.

Probably the worst tacos we’ve had in Mexico. Tacos were filled with rice and sauce, barely had any meat. The 1 shrimp in the taco was overcooked and had way too much greasy batter. Nachos were stale en guacamole had no taste. Service was attentive and fast though

Llegué y tardaron en pasarme a pesar de que me veían y había lugar disponible. Cuando me dieron mesa nunca me atendieron. Los meseros atendieron más rápido a otras mesas que llegaron después de mí. Al final les pregunté a dos meseros diferentes quién me tomaba la orden y ninguno lo hizo. Me dijeron que a ellos no les tocaba. Mal lugar para ir a comer tacos.

We visited and ordered four different types of tacos and I can honestly say they are the worst tacos I have ever eaten. All of the fillings taste like they had been made with shop bought sauces. The food was served in under a minute of ordering which shows it’s not really cooked fresh. It tasted like reheated frozen food you would get from the supermarket. One of the tacos also came with peas and sweetcorn inside which isn’t very traditional. My partner had a sore stomach after the food as well. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and I definitely wouldn’t go back. There are far better restaurants near by, don’t waste your money.
