The best food in an authentic, quiet restaurant in Bacalar! A short walk from the market square in the center, it's definitely worth it. The service is super friendly, the restaurant is frequented almost exclusively by locals, and the prices are great for Bacalar! For 100-150 MXN per person, including a drink, you can eat your fill here. Highly recommended :) Tip: the comales with chicken <3

Recommended by our sailing guide Definitely a good one - far from the touristic area so still a hidden gem. So far my best salbute - very tasty and not dry . My kids had loved the quesadillas with chicken and cheese as the cheese was of good quality ( not the one tasteless and very chewy) Portion is reasonable compare to other place but enough for us . Too bad they were running out of panuchos The lady owner was very sweet with us. My husband was craving for a beer but the restaurant does not sell them . So the lady went to her home to offer him one .

Recommendation by our sailing guys, the food was extremely tasty, we tried 4 plates and ordered more. Only Spanish speaking, only cash but very fast service, nothing took more than 10 minutes to arrive even though it was pretty full. Definitely a must try for traditional Bacalar food

If you want to try some good Traditional Mexican food you HAVE to come here. The cheese empanadas are amazing (specially the one made with “queso de bola”) 😍😍. We came on our first night and came again 2 hours later because we loved it so much 😅
