I've been coming here for years for the egg rolls. Besides the rolls, the food is pretty good as well as the service

The food was amazing! Those eggrolls are fire! The all american burger was good too. My server Amanda was sweet and patient with me and my friend despite my stutter. The service was fast too and the manager came by and she delivered the food and made sure everything was good. Overall great experience. :)

This is the first time I have been here for lunch and I enjoyed the service, flavors of food and how clean everything is, I will have lunch here more often.

Good food, great service, but place was about empty and they sent my server home after an hour shift? I guess that's was good for me cuz I had one server who only had two tables to wait on. Hope that place doesnt shut down?

Wyatt was our server and this is one of the reasons we gave it a top rating. We eat out frequently and the server is a key part of enjoying eating out at a restaurant. He was efficient, knowledgeable about the menu and ordered our food exactly as we expected, especially the meat which was grilled to perfection. We will be returning again as this was our first experience here.

Ordered take out two days for dinner while visiting Bakersfield. Food was hot and was good. Enjoyed the dinner rolls, ordered extra to snack on later that night. Associates were friendly.

Went by this afternoon for lunch. I ordered a BLT and oh boy! I was not disappointed at all! My server Phoenix was so sweet and made us feel so welcomed! Thank you. Our lunch was so good we will be back too!

Went for a group lunch when it wasn't too busy, waitress was very nice and the food was good. I had chicken and some of the wife's steak. Has a family environment so a decent place to take the kids, they will love the bread and butter.

First time coming to Roadhouse and I was not disappointed. We were assisted by Phoenix who made the entire experience amazing and truly a fun one. Due to her recommendations we ended up ordering some of the tastiest food we have had since being back in Texas. She truly made our date one for the books. So excited to return.

From walking in the door till the time we left it was fantastic! The service was excellent, the food was absolutely delicious!!!!! So very enjoyable. It was my boyfriends 75th birthday. I took my grandma here for a feast and our server Mary M, was the best server I have ever had in any restraunt anywhere. Never mind the whole "was this food good?" Yes! the food is good but the people are better! Thank you Mary M for a wonderful evening with my grandma!

As a first timer, food was great never had anything like it before specifically the green beans with garlic they were to die for:) My server was polite she also was doing bar which is why she was kind of busy and it was a bit of a struggle to get a hold of her but over all the service was great so was the food and so was the strawberry lemonade :) would definitely go again!

Great place to go eat. Had the filet mignon, tasted great, my wife had the bacon wrapped filet and she like it as well. The service was great and was very attentive, always asked if we needed something. Overall a great place to eat.

Love the bread and butter peanuts are always nice potatoes skins we so delicious the sauce is ok I like ranch but we're huge and fresh. Steaks ..ribs ..pulled pork all delicious everything was fresh and delicious a bit long on the appetizers but waiter was very friendly and attentive and apologized for the longer than normal wait on them.

I was at Best Buy and seen the sign for 'Original Roadhouse'. Decided to go and I am glad I did. They make very slightly sweet lemon aid. Not to sweet and definitely not bitter. There are jalapeno/cheese stuffed egg rolls with a sweet sauce that are spicy/sweet and very good. The appetizers continue with a bowl of chili topped with cheese and onions. Then come the Garlic Fries inside a shiny steel cup wrapped in paper. Finally the BBQ Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs. Melt in your mouth good. The meat was so tender I pulled the ribs apart with my fingers. Sooooo Goooood. The only bad thing about The Original Roadhouse is the price of the food. It is expensive. With the tip I paid $58 for one person. I highly recommend this restaurant just expect to pay for the great food. As a bonus, there is a electronic game at the table you can play. It costs $1.99. There is outdoor seating and on Tuesdays kids eat free.

Starla was an excellent server. We had a great time. Our daughter loved dad's potato we ordered one for her as well. The atmosphere is great. There was no wait. Also the rolls are awesome too.

Roadhouse is good, good steaks, burgers, beer, can't go wrong, clean great service, friendly staff.

The water tasted terrible, 1 sip and gag. Food was good but felt the rib not cooked enough, didn't fall off bone had hard time separating from each other. Salad, sweet potatoes, rib eye were great. Our waitress was outstanding, friendly, checked on us alot. Also saw her doing it at other tables.

Me and my sister took my mom to lunch to celebrate her birthday. Everything was excellent. We had a great time with great food. The service was great. We will be going again soon to try the garlic shrimp over a bed of rice with that cezar salad.

Good service. The food was ok. I had the rib and chicken combo. The ribs were decent but the chicken skin was kinda like paper. The loaded potato was really good and baked beans were just ok as well. The tea was good but the lemonade tasted like powder. My wife's salad looked amazing. The cream cheese egg rolls with jalapeño jelly dipping sauce was excellent. We'll be returning to try somthing else.

We stopped in for a late lunch about 2:00. My chicken caesar salad, although tasty, had way too much salad dressing. I will remember to ask for the dressing on the side next time. I understand playing country music here but a better selection would be encouraged. Too many whiny country male songs. We sat in the lounge area near the bar and the one bartender was serving her area as well as our. It was apparent by the wait time to order, wait time to deliver, and wait time to get a check that it was too much for one person. I'm suspecting the manager has cut labor to a point that it's now impacting service. I'm sure dinner services better.

I went here very recently for a birthday lunch and our party consisted of about 15 people or so. The place wasn’t really busy but we got there shortly after it opened. Unfortunately I didn’t catch our servers name but stocky blond/dark blond with tattoos on left arm, one on right she was quite helpful and on point so no complaints on service. The steak size was very small and little undercooked, so bit disappointing in what the price was for something that was no bigger than a rice kripsy treat. That put aside, all the other stuff was good, the sweet potato fries especially.

Went at lunch time, hostess was great. Son loved his burger and fries. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was tasteless but edible, coleslaw was good, fries needed salt but that just my preference. Side of ranch was tasty and rolls with sweet buttery were hot and tasty. We will be back to try other menu items.

The service was great, the food not so much. Had steak and chicken dinners and both had to be sent back. The steak was undercooked and cold (ordered medium) and the chicken was so dry even lemon and the sauce from the sampler tray couldn't save it. They put the steak back on the grill and remade the chicken. Still paid full price for everything. This is the first time this has happened, and I'm sure given everything going on it's rough. I'm sure the next time will be better as usual.

We had great service but the food took forever to be served. The portions served has decreased. My husband and I can no longer share a plate.

The manager made me feel uncomfortable when I first got there. She was acting like it was my fault that someone took a reservation for 2. She came up to me saying we don't do that here. My friend tried to tell her that we only call in advance because we were 8 hours away and wanted to know if there was going to be a long line for a Friday. Which the place was not full at all. The server was great. Truly amazing. She came to us 30 minutes later to let us know the kitchen misplaced our ticket and it would be a while longer for our food. She offered to take something off the bill. She also brought us some peanuts. I ordered a Apple Martini. It was very good. The glass was extremely small. Not exaggerating only two sips and the drink was gone. Not good at all. The food was delicious. I didn't get a chance to enjoy it because I ended up getting full off of rolls and peanuts 🥜. It would be nice if they have a Vegan dish or two.

My husband and I visited your restaurant last week for dinner. We used to be regulars before COVID, and it was a favorite for our family — especially the kids, who loved the peanuts and the fun atmosphere. Since we were in the area, we decided to stop in for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience this time was very disappointing, both in terms of the food and the overall atmosphere. We were seated next to two couples who were loudly throwing dinner rolls at each other and cussing throughout the meal. One of them mentioned they were getting married over Easter weekend, and their conversation took a very inappropriate turn. It was disruptive and made for an uncomfortable dining experience. On top of that, our food was below expectations. The chicken we were served was extremely dry. We asked for a replacement with dark meat, but again received another dry piece of white meat. We decided to take the rest of our food to go. My husband politely asked if a discount could be applied, given the disappointing experience and poor food quality, but the staff member — while friendly — informed us that the manager was not available. It’s unfortunate that the atmosphere and food quality have declined so much since our last visit. We were really hoping for a good experience, like we used to have, but sadly this visit didn’t live up to those memories.

1st time back here in 5+ years. The food was good, but not as good as I remember it. But the service was very good.

I ordered a steak with mushrooms and they brought me a steak with onions. I sent it back. Not once did I get a refill on my water. When I was finished with my food I felt like they were in a rush to get me out of there. Overall not a good experience I don't think I'll come back to Roadhouse

Stopped in for lunch. Not too busy, quick service. Had a good steak lunch, although the fries are just ok. They don't compare to the fries at some other places I've recently reviewed, but they were ok. My real issue was with the insistence that I use the Pay-at-the-table terminal (yes, that's what they're called). The industry says it is for the customer's convenience, and is easier for the wait staff. Both true, I guess. However, hygienically, maybe not. This thing was SO GROSS! Maybe the busser wipes the screen with the same towel they just used to wipe off the table grunge. The edges of the screen were horrifying, and the screen was a little.....sticky. eww.

We went out for my husband's birthday lunch/dinner. Anyone who ordered meat got food poisoned. The kids were fine (they just picked at fries) and the people who ordered only a salad were fine.

While the server was great, there was a manager named Danielle that was treating her employees very rudely in front of the customers. It made for a very awkward experience for us. If you have something to tell your employees, maybe do it away from the customers. It was very unprofessional. My wife wanted to voice her concerns but it’s our understanding that the manager was the top manager of the restaurant so it would have went to deaf ears. The food was ok, but didn’t meet expectations. Texas Roadhouse is a lot better. I thought the two were affiliated and had the same food, but I was wrong and that’s my fault.

This place has just gone downhill over the past few years. Service is awful unless you go to the bar area. The last two times I've been there, we had to ask them to wipe down the booth and table. I'd be embarrassed to seat a group at a filthy table. It took the waitress 20 minutes to even acknowledge us and 30 minutes to take our order Drinks and appetizer were brought out with the food. The drink refill took 20 minutes and we aren't sure if the ice tea had a bug in it or if it was a tea flake. We didn't want to know for sure. The ribs and potatoes were blah. But the Texas egg rolls (the only reason I still go) were excellent as always. Hopefully they can fix their issues and get back to where they were a few years ago.

Steak was half fat but cooked on point. Overall the taste of our meals were good but nothing makes up for the horrible service. Our server was straight up rude. Wrecked any fun my kids could have had. Don't go here.

This place has no control when ordering, they take for ever to take your order, they have a nasty floor with cherries, and silverware. They don’t take that time to clean tables.

Took my wife and daughter for a bite, when we arrived and ordered, it was wasn’t busy it took 40 minutes to get our food. My wife’s steak was well done after ordering medium. When we sent it back, 20 minutes had passed and still no steak. We had to leave and couldn’t wait any longer. Most disappointed by the manager that apologized but guilted us for having to eat the cost of their mistake and as we were leaving we were being pointed at by the manager and the team. We have supported this restaurant through its ups and downs, not happy with the customer service. If you going to apologize, own it.

We had a large party of about 25 people. A reservation had been made well in advance. The waitress was super professional and nice but she was left alone for our large group. I was there 2 hours and didn't get my lunch. I left at that point.

The steakes were ok compared to Texas roadhouse, the drinks were extremely weak specially when I ordered a double so only had one, I wasn't going to spend more from the prices they charge for a weak drink. We had a party of over 20 ppl and the single waitress was great eventhough the management didn't send her help as there wasn't many customers all night and the manager was walking by looking but didn't even seem like she wanted to help our tables with anything. Poor management = 2 stars.

Everything wasn’t too bad at first. When we received the food my dad didn’t care too much for his burger (over seasoned and they added a few things he asked to be held). The waitress just apologized instead of offering to replace the meal or not charge for it, or provide some sort of service in place of. Come time to pay she also lingered over us when we were prompted to tip, which seemed odd. I enjoyed my food, but feel like they should’ve offered something else for him. Anyway… it happens.

The visit was okay. Filet mignon was great. Loaded mash potatoes were like warm. Baked beans were great. Blackberry lemonade was great. The waitress was very nice and by often to see if we needed anything. The food got there in a good time period.

My waitress messed up our order starting from my husband's drink and then proceeded to state with an attitude I repeated it back. Excuse me if you would speak up then we would have known you Saif something completely different then what we ordered. Then swapped how 2 of our parties steak was cooked and proceeded to get upset and just took the steaks back like hello they aren't just going to eat the sides. I had to find the manager and when talking to the manager aside away from customers the waitress had to stand behind her to listen in. Then the manager came to our table and made a fuss saying we'll some people like to keep there plates. No ma'am why I want my whole meal. Not to mention when we got our bill she said she gave us a discount but yet charged us twice for one thing and then charge for my grandson when he was suppose to be free. Bet she thought I wouldn't catch that. Plus having broken blinds in the window so the light was shinning on our faces. We all ended up sick last night after eating there. So we won't be going back

Got yelled at by the manager for describing her server as a “Ginger Guy” when I am also a Ginger and my wife is a red head. Food and service were both really bad. I asked for a refund and explained my service and food were bad, and the manager asked my servers name, I explained I didn’t know because I only saw him twice but he was a ginger guy which prompted the manager to chew me for using the term ginger instead of red head. She was so mad that she didn’t realize I too am in fact am a ginger and that my wife is a red head. 🤦‍♂️

I am only giving this review one star because our waitress was actually very attentive. After being seated our order was taken pretty quick but it took over a hour and a half our food was all wrong and missing items. Steaks were ordered med, they came well done. Very disappointed overall. Took forever to get seated as well

Horrible service. Sat for 40 mins without a drink. Salad and bread came at the same time as the meals which was an extra 29 mins. Not a busy time to come.

It was our first time here and had been wanting to try it for some time now but the service was unfortunately not good our waitress was kind but she wasn't really checking in on us but we seen she was checking other tables surrounding us, she failed to bring us our drink or sauces we asked for. Then I received a spoon in my ceasar salad. Yes, a SPOON. It sucked because I was eating it until I bumped into it, and then we couldn't get anyone's attention. It felt intentional, but we didn't want to assume that. Finally, a guy brought our food out when we told him we had received a spoon in the salad, and he was in shock and proceeded to ask me if I wanted another? To which I replied, " yes ofcoarse" it's practically new. They brought our burgers out and forgot to add the bacon on my husband's burger where we realized we weren't getting anything we were asking for we just told them we didn't want the food anymore and since we hadn't touched it, we weren't going to pay for it. So we just ended up paying for our appetizer and my daughters meal. The lady mentioned they "where" going to take care of it, but we had already paid. Anyways, the audacity to be asked for a tip after we obviously had a bad experience was the cherry on top. Won't be going here again. Bad attitude. Bad service.

Stopped here for a dinner and to get out of the heat. It was about 95 degrees outside and the inside of the establishment was maybe 10 degrees cooler. The air was stale and the restaurant was dimly lit. Once we were seated, it was about 10 minutes before the server introduced himself/took our order. By that point we just had him take our entire order for the night (drinks, appetizer, and Entree.) That was pretty much the last time we saw him until we asked for the check. Another 15 minutes passes, and my husband and I are breaking out into a sweat under the lights and we’re still waiting on drinks. We flag down another server and our drinks are finally served. About 10 minutes later, our food is served. My shrimp is under seasoned, over-charred, and already getting cold to the touch. My husband’s ribs were dry and without any type of barbecue sauce or seasoning. So, once the server finally made his rounds to us (1 of 3 tables in his “busy” section) we told him the food was not great and asked for our check. He didn’t make any attempts to remedy the situation or offer refund. He just shrugged “ok well sorry” and got us to-go boxes. Then, as we were heading home my husband calls to let the management know of our dissatisfaction. She asks who our server was and we describe him the best we can (ginger hair and slim male) and she tells us to come back for a refund. We return to the restaurant and she immediately tears into my husband for calling the server “ginger”??? Apparently “ShEs A MoThEr” and that’s disrespectful and antisemitic somehow. Long story short: Food was awful, atmosphere was off, and the employees excuse their poor service by saying it’s busy (spoiler: it was not busy lol.) Manager’s name is Danielle and the server’s name is Wyatt.

My friend and I have met here frequently over the past year and always sit in the bar area. We don’t order anything special, just beer and a chicken salad. Today our server was great, and attentive, but typically it’s sub par. What hit me right away when entering the facility today was the disgusting smell of the bathroom. My friend and I smelled it right away when we entered the restaurant. The bathroom has always smelled like sewer, but this was the first time we could smell it when entering the restaurant. Before we left we made the mistake of using the bathroom. The smell was HORRIBLE! It smells like the sewer is backed up. A port-a-potty smells better than this place. I don’t understand how this is even considered up to code. Nor do I understand how anyone can stomach sitting anywhere near the restrooms (in the dining area), because we were all the way in the bar and could still smell it. 🤢 It’s absolutely foul!!

We should have just gone to Red Lobster; at least at Red Lobster, we would not wait this long to get our food. We've been here for thirty minutes so far, no food. Waitress has not checked on us. Hopefully the food will not be cold by the time we get it. Will update later tonight, time is now nearing 40 minutes wait. So we left. Arrived at 730pm, left at 825pm after waiting for our food. Came to Red Lobster, was seated right away... waiter got our drinks right away with a minimum wait of 30 seconds. I do not recommend The Original Roadhouse Grill for the time being unless they are under new management.

I put in a one rating because I couldn't do a 0 . The waitress was really nice but I ordered a well done steak and came to me burnt on the outside and bleeding on the inside. Come to find out the manager was doing the cooking and our family dinner was ruined. The waitress did her best to try and make us happy but by then it was just ruined. It use to be good but I was very disappointed. Definitely wish we wouldn't have wasted money on a poor meal. My suggestion is try another restaurant to eat at.

The place takes too long to prepare the food and they lack courtesy in serving customers.

10 minutes for drink- soda. Not alcohol. No refill. Then the food was gross. Old bread and steaks were not only old but all gristle. Over seasoned trying to cover the old flavor. Then asked for the mgr who was leaning on the hose stand the entire time. Came over. Grabbed the plate. Never offered anything different. Then walked away. Got the gm. His attitude was worse. Wasn't helpful at all. I will be reaching out to corp for further assistance. This is exactly why this store has no business and is on the brink of closing.

I had a great review of this place from 7 years ago because 7 years ago this place was really worth going to. I do want to say, the waiters and waitresses are amazing here. Here's my new review....unfortunately. First thing I want to say is that as I ate my food I watched to cook through the glass, not one time did he change out his glove ( I say it without an s because he was only wearing one glove) he handled raw meat with the hand that had the glove on, then proceeded to touch the salt Shaker, then the tongs , then his pants, etc ... which is WILD! Talk about cross contamination! Its no wonder why people get sick leaving here . Its so hot in here. It smells. The water taste like sewer.....I truly believe that this place will be next on the list to go out of business. This place used to be AMAZING. But it's turning into a dump. And for that cook who doesn't even care about changing his gloves.THATS HORRIBLE!! 😫🤮 management really needs to step their game up.

Food is average , was better before covid era. Service is terrible, watch out for servers trying to add automatic Gratuity. 4 adults and 2 small kids who didn't order any food, shared off adult plate counted as 6 people. Servers added 20% to check, after taxes not before even. Handed them the cash before Gratuity with taxes and walked out. As a military veteran, roadhouse lost my business that day.

Steak was ok, the garlic mashed potatoes were good. The mac and cheese was a disappointment, tasted like boxed Kraft mac and cheese 🤢. Too much price for the food. Asked to exchange for a side salad which was ok but with what looked with water downed ranch dressing.

Please let this business collapse and go out of business because of their own indifference. The waiter we had was great, no complaints there. The food on the other hand was horrible. We had a party of over 10 people and everyone was dissatisfied with what they ordered. No one was able to get past a few bites. On top of that, the trash that they served us was laughably expensive. How is anyone supporting this business? Does it survive solely on naive out of towners? Please go elsewhere. Go to Costco and buy some quality steaks. Go on YouTube, if you don't know how to cook a steak and you will have an exponentially better dining experience at a fraction of the price at half the time. Very disappointed.

The food was bad. The drinks were horrible. The only nice aspect of this place was the server. We had a party of 9 and every single drink ordered was bad. They had the worst brands of alcohol. The taste was so horrible that if we closed our eyes and guessed, none of us would be able to guess what we ordered.

Bad service this time, the service was bad have been going there for years never again. I left no tip and I really believe I was shown the door before even asked for the bill, never again will I go there. one last comment, there was a lady in wheel chair that was waiting at 20 min. before she got seated, I think when I left she was still waiting.

You're another one thats gonna hold out for ridiculously high prices and serve 3 people an hour rather than lowering your prices and serving 30 an hour. Its marketing 101. WHO'S THE CLOWN OF A MANAGER HERE. I was goingbto get something tobeat until I looked upbthe menu. $5 for a potato huh? That Roadhouse from Texas and some Longhorn thingie is packed every single night in Las Vegas and Henderson where Im from. Bread, salad and a side or 2 are included with almost every main course. Nobwonder you only have 8 locations. Youve lost how many aready with your greedy ways. 🐄 🐄 😤 At least its a beautiful night.😀
