I don’t normally write reviews, however after my recent visit I felt compelled to rave about the excellent customer I received. These days good customer service is hard to come by, this visit was different. I didn’t feel rushed, everyone was kind and my food was fresh!

I frequently stop in this location with my aunt and uncle. They have two other locations closer to home but rather visit this one. The employees and the manager checked on us four times while enjoying our meals. Best Wendy's around Jacksonville by far!!!

Definitely a bit of waiting time at 10:30pm, but patience paid off very well , best tasting Wendy's meals, only 2 employees where on site, very professional even thoe i heard some customers been rude. Who ever was on the 4th of july, THANK U!

I was hungry. I stopped in before I made my 30 minute drive to Fernandina Beach. I was at the counter for about 50 seconds. It was cool because the drive thru was long and everybody looked busy. Ricky, one of the employees was possibly on break or lunch, I couldn't tell, stopped what he was doing and came to the register to take my order. He told me he didn't want me to keep waiting. Thank you Ricky, sorry for the inconvenience, but thank you because I haven't eaten in awhile. I got the chicken stripe with ranch and honey mustard. There fries were on point and the pink lemonade hit the spot. I didn't even need ice, it was cold enough. Everything just went right. They were in the process of changing the light up signs that the menu is on. Even amidst the confusion, they were attentive, kind, smiling and prompt. You did that!

I appreciate the excellent customer service provided by Day and the entire team. ( I hope I have the correct name). However, This individual appeared to manage the team in drive thru while assisting the frontline, without appearing frustrated. My order was not to my satisfaction and was corrected without issue. The manager offered to bring the remainder of my order out to me as I began a portion of my meal. I did view the dining area and it appeared clean I also used the facilities and they were clean and spacious at the time.

Great location off the Highway and easy on and off. The restaurant was clean and not so busy inside. The drive-tru had about 8 cars waiting so we decided we I go inside to eat. The service as ok, he was there just doing his hours not much on the customer service part. The food came out quickly and the temperature was hot. I enjoyed the new strawberry lemonade and will get again. Maybe add some vodka for an extra kick when I get home. The food was good and enjoyed sitting down for the meal while the fries were still hot. Will definitely visit again.

Seemed short staffed. Only 2 ppl working. Long line at drive thru. The older woman working the window was under a lot of pressure. But handled it well. Was friendly and professional. I believe she would do well at any job she chooses.

This is the only Wendy's I'll even still go to. I had wrote Wendy's off for poor customer service in general around 2 years ago. Ended up stopping by this one by my job around a year ago, and EVERY time I've been here it's been EXCEPTIONAL service. QUICK, POLITE, and my order has been perfectly CORRECT EVERY single time!! I'm glad this is the Wendy's by my job, I got lucky! Even when they have a line a mile long, they work through the line effectively and so fast. I'm likely to get my food faster here when they have 25 cars than I am from McDonald's when they only have 2 cars 😅 EDIT: the last few weeks they quit doing frosty-cinos in the morning, which has been a huge bummer since it's certainly a morning drink. Gotta remove a star 🥺

Stopped by traveling through the area and needed a late night meal for the family. We had a large amount of people with us but they still managed to get our food served quickly. It was all fresh but they made a few mistakes with some of the items on our order, but they rectified it immediately. Overall good spot to stop by for a quick and good meal while traveling.

The two employees that were staffed the night I went did their best to maintain the wait times of everyone that was there. There was no issue with the accuracy of my order but even if there were, I could not find it in me to blame them. If I had one criticism, it would be to please have management do better when it comes to staffing people during night/late night hours

This place is hit or miss. Seems as though you'll sometimes get good service and other times the employees won't even acknowledge you. Food is usually still good though. It's tucked away off the highway so very easy to miss unless you look for the signs.

Ordered a blt chicken biggie bag. Fries were no where near warm, much less hot. Chicken nuggets were the same. The chicken blt was actually pretty good. I was the Second vehicle in line in the drive through and I felt like it took Forever to complete the orders for the vehicle in front of me and mine. Probably will never go to this one again.

I realize it's probably hard to find good help right now, but this review represents the reality of our experience. We stopped on our way home to NC for lunch. The inside was a typical Wendy's but the bathrooms were pretty dirty. The service was slow despite the line not being long inside or out. The guy taking orders was completely disinterested in being there and showed it with his body language and words. The food was as is to be expected from Wendy's and they did get the order correct. All in all, the service was worse than I would typically expect from a Wendy's in general, but the overall experience was probably in line with what to expect from this mid range fast food place.

This restaurant is one of the worst on this side of the town. There's always a glitch; no food items, the machines are inoperable, no employees. When they are there, and have the resources to work with, the employees are great.

Lovely wanting fast food, and waiting 30 min for one car to go through the line. FFS it's 8pm, and no one inside ordering at the counter. Please hire people who actually want to work. Recommend going past and head to River City marketplace for food.

What good does a mobile order do, if it isn't ready by the time you get there, when you order it 10mins before hand? This folks to busy goofin off in the back of the building. I get a 30min lunch, and spend 15 waiting on my food, with noone in drive thru to hold me up. This is BS, tighten up in there. Guy just drove past me (still waiting) pissed cause they wouldn't take his order thru the drive thru. 2 more just left, same reason. This place is going down hill.

I had not been to a Wendy's in a long time so I thought I would try them again. I went through the drive-thru at noon. They met my low expectations. The hamburger was not hot and the french fries were merely warm. They failed to include any napkins in the bag. I do not anticipate visiting another Wendy's restaurant anytime soon.

The young man at the counter was very nice. The bathroom had a huge disabled person stall with a sink within. The bathroom needed some attention. The fries were old and cold.

Pulled up to the drive thru and was greeted with a literal grunt of acknowledgement by the employee. No hello, no “what can I get you?” I thought he turned on his mic by accident. Told him I was ready whenever he was and he sounded very condescending. Pulled up to the window to pay and he barely acknowledged my existence, took my card, spoke to a coworker about whether or not he was high, and then handed me back my card. Spoke to me with further grunts as he turned away from the window. Was handed my food without another word, no thank you’s or goodbyes. Barely even made eye contact and then closed the window to laugh with his homies in the kitchen. Fries taste old and lukewarm at best. At least the frosty tastes reliable.

I went inside Wendy's Sunday night and stood at the front counter patiently for several minutes only to be told that If I wanted to be served I would have to go through the drive thru. They proceeded to tell me they were only running the drive thru register and that they would only service the drive thru and the people from the hotel next door. So basically instead of servicing someone inside their establishment they chose to turn away business. The worst part is if they weren't planning to service anyone inside the restaurant then why would they accomodate people from the hotel and why would they not put a sign on the front door telling people this. I only wanted a JR Cheeseburger how hard is it to ring it up and pretend like I was in the drive thru. This is not my first experience at this location. I will never go back to that location they absolutely suck at customer service.

I’m not sure what’s been going on with this Wendy’s lately, but the speaker hasn’t worked the last two times so you have to pull to the second window to order. The employees seem extremely annoyed and anytime you order food it’s a 50/50 if they have it. Unless it’s a frosty, then they definitely don’t have it.

Poor management. We are staying at the hotel next door to the Wendy's on New Bern Road. They claim to be open until 12am. Last night at 11pm, my husband and I went over and they had no beef and the only items they claimed to have was only chicken. Said they were waiting on the truck. Tonight 4/18 at 11pm, my husband goes over to get a frosty and a sandwich and they said they are only selling #3's chicken nuggets. 2 nights in a row with no food does not make sense especially when my window faces the drive through and people have been going through the drive through. Really Sad.

Started with Front door was locked so had to get back into the car order. I tried to order a frosty vanilla, but they don’t have vanilla, which is fine, but they did have strawberry as confirmed with the employee, so I ordered strawberry frosty then I go up to the Window and then says I never ordered a frosty but we had a whole conversation about it. once my other food was done, they basically threw it in my lap and then close the window like they were in such a hurry with their no customers inside and one other customer and the entire drive-through

Went here for a quick lunch. Sat in the drive thru for close to 20 minutes. Got charged for a Large Frosty and was then told the machine wasn't working. Wouldn't take it off of my receipt even though I asked for a water instead. Will never come back.

Drive thru is extremely slow! Extremly so. At least a 10 - 20 min wait with not a lot of cars ahead. I only waited in line because I has already invested 10 min plus of my time and gas to wait. But I will never come here again.

I really hope the owner of this Wendy's reads this.Yesterday, September 16th, my 2 grandsons and I stopped at Wendy's on hecksher drive. After fishing, we pulled in the parking lot with truck and trailer. We walked into the lobby, where 6 other customers were only to be nastily greeted by an employee that said, the lobby is closed, can't you use the drive thru, I said I have a boat and trailer. She looked at us like we were asking to much. If You the owner, let's your business be run like this, you won't be in business long. We will never visit there again and I will spread the word about this establishment. You need to hire competent, caring people. Not lazy inconsiderate people like that. If I were the owner, I would fire the entire crew and start over. Laziness and rudeness should not be tolerated.

They can’t sell small value meals anymore. Therefore, all of their biggie bags are two dollars more because they require you to purchase a medium. However, their menu does not reflect this change. Will be reporting this to corporate and letting all the locals know not to support this Wendy’s. (The Wendy’s just 5 miles away still has normal biggie bags. I’ll spend my money there happily.)

I stayed at the hotel next door, google says they are open until 12am, I walk in at 9:58 and they let me stand at the counter ignoring me for minutes (one car in drive thru, 5-6 people working inside). Then at 10:02 they tell me I have to go through the drive thru, so instead of taking my order and sending me back to my hotel with my food, they wanted me to walk back to the hotel to get my car and pull into the drive thru when I was already standing right there ready to order. I will get Uber eats and never spend any money at this establishment. The workers are clearly lazy and do not care about customer service in the slightest. I expect more out of Wendy’s, they usually do a great job

According to the posted hours, this location is open until 2:00 AM. However, at midnight, I observed a sales associate at the front counter who ignored my presence at the drive-through for ten minutes. Have always got a good meal from here, but seems like the staff don't want to actually do their jobs and serve food. Showed up a little after 7:00pm on a Sunday and waited until 7:05pm at the drive thru, waiting for someone to take our order. Parked and then tried both doors only to find them locked. No signs up anywhere to indicate they were closed. Whoever owns that location is losing money to workers not working during posted business hours.

Food is fine. Been going here for actual decades. Now they've decided to start turning off the frosty machine at 1030 when closing at midnight. I wager either they are incompetent and can't fulfill closing duties and cut corners like this, or the more probable answer that they don't have enough closers and have to cut out time sinks like cleaning the machine closer to closing. Just don't lie and say this is policy now when a quick search easily shows this is not the case.

2 bad experiences at this location. Tried to go through drive through last week around 11pm, sat at the menu waiting for someone to answer for 5 minutes before just saying screw it, as we were driving around the crew was inside goofing off and they didn’t close for another hour. Tried to go through and order again tonight, same time 11pm, someone doesn’t come over speaker but tells us these they are only serving chicken nuggets and fries? Okay fine we give our order and the girl says “ oh it’s going to be a 5 minute wait” how do you only have those items available, still gonna make us wait and you still have an hour before you close! Looking at past reviews this is an ongoing problem for this location.

Has one employee working while three others sat in a booth doing nothing. AC is broken so it's 95 degrees inside the building. Decided to eat outside because it was cooler outside than it was inside. Went to get a refill and one of the employees sitting down rudely yelled at me that since I left the building I couldn't get a refill even though I bought it 2 minutes earlier. 0/10 would not recommend.

I ordered items from this location a short time before placing an additional order. I placed my order using the mobile app for dine-in. Once I arrived at the counter to pick up my item, the employee told me, "we don't have dat". I informed her my order was actively displayed on the counter monitor and I had already paid for the item on the mobile app. She told me they did not have any Frostys. I looked over at the machine and observed the staff had already cleaned the machine, I'm guessing they wanted to leave early because my order was placed at 9:58 pm, the store hours display a midnight closure. I did not receive my order of the Frosty and did not receive a refund. Almost all the employees remained on their cell phones while I was dining at this location.

We ordered at the drive thru, and the associate was rude. She actually told my son to calm down when he was calm. When we pulled up to the window, she held her hand out for our credit card and wouldn’t look at us. We have been driving for hours, and her attitude was unacceptable!

This place is horrible...avoid! I asked for a taco salad, they said there were out of salads, I asked for a cold brew caramel coffee, they said there out, I asked for the ice cream chocolate swirl, which is also on Wendy's menu, he refuses to do it! It's summer time and no salads but it's on your menu! The fries were then cold I had to ask them to give me fresh fries after spending $40. This place just doesn't care about their customers let alone doing their job right.

The absolute worst Wendy's there is. The customer service is horrendous. They are all rude and clearly don't want us there. The girl taking my order answered the phone put someone on speaker phone and we're talking very trashy. People just walking around on their cell phones when there's 10 people in line. I've been going to this Wendy's because it's closest to my job and I'm definitely not going back anymore. I tried Time after Time and the service is still the same it just absolutely sucks. The store manager is just as bad as the employees. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. You are better off getting a convenience store sandwich.

Why is the place even. Attempted to get coffee before boarding cruise, they don't have e the cold brew or hot coffee, due to no cups. Try to get a fountain drink and there were no options other than 1 flavor of powerade. Don't waste your time coming to the place.

6 piece chicken nugget only had 5 nuggets, baked potatoe was really small and dried up, it was only the size of my fist. At 730pm they are out of all lettuce and other salad condiments. Cashier said they run out of salads daily and to come before 4pm. Frosty was the size of a jello cup and not satisfied at all, please provide full size and large frosty. Wait time was 20 minutes even though we did mobile order. Please fix this location poorly run always run out of chille and salads and customer service is not great. Simple training and stock orders can fix most of there issues, always order more then you think you need because this location stays busy.

How do you order a meal, pay for it, then get place in a parking spot that’s already five cars deep, and then wait for twenty minutes to get your food. They park you so drive thru times are low. This is at new Berlin location.

Food was horrible! Fries was cold and burger was not done!! Only thing I could do was drink coke. This Wendy's was horrible!!!

Sat in drive-thru line just shy of 20 minutes. Staff had to repeat what I ordered 3 times and still got it wrong. Ordered nuggets and they never asked what sauce, told them and they still forgot it. Multiple cars left the drive-thru line because it was taking so long. Every time I've come (not often) there is always an issue at this location not sure if it's management and staff but no one seems to care.

Food is never hot, they rarely have anything you want and some of the workers are very unprofessional and nasty. I recently moved here from New York and people talk about New Yorkers being rude. However, this place give Florida a bad name. I will be reporting them to corporate. You would think because it’s in a decent area they would have excellent customer service, but that is not the case. Take your money elsewhere.

Very poor customer service, sandwich was made incorrectly, tea was soured, no straws or cutlery put in bags, soda machine almost out of every drink, and we waited on our food while other drive through and dining room patrons received their food. When we finally received our food, by then there was another 3-4 disgruntled customers.

The service here is aweful. I was in the drive thru 3rd car back and waited there for 15 minutes. They told the guy to wait and never took his order for 15 minutes. At that rate it would take 40 minutes to place and order.

Pulled up and was asked to order inside, pull around walked inside stood at the counter waiting to be served on, I waited and walked out sometime after. Funny thing is I decided to skip another Wendy's down the road because it looked closed and ran down. 🤷

Went around 1:42pm for lunch. Order two large fries was given burt and dry fries. Services was bad. I will not be going back. I will recommend anyone yo not go to this wendys!

I understand that not all menu items can be available at all times but the employee who waited on me would have known sooner if he was more concerned with his job than with his cellphone. The floor was sticky throughout the restaurant, the bathrooms disgusting. When I paid I was shorted 4 pennies, if you don't have my four pennies you should give me a nickel. I'm a business owner and know how many pennies are still in circulation, they are readily available from banks, this location just takes the excuse that they have stopped minting them to upcharge me. The employee at the counter didn't give any cares. To top it off the hamburger was far below the quality I expect of Windy's, the fries cold.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Wendy’s on February 21, 2026 around 7:40 PM. I drove about two miles off the interstate in the dark with my pregnant wife and a car full of kids specifically to use the drive-thru. When I placed my order at the speaker, I was told to “come inside” and that they weren’t taking orders at the drive-thru. No explanation was given. I asked for clarification and was ignored. I then pulled up to the window and was ignored again. After knocking, someone finally responded and again told me to come inside. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I would need to come inside for that as well. The manager never came out. There were multiple employees inside, but no one was taking drive-thru orders or communicating clearly about what was going on. I eventually went inside and was still not assisted. No manager identified themselves, no explanation was provided, and no order was ever taken. This level of service is unacceptable — especially for families traveling off the highway. If the drive-thru was closed, that should be clearly communicated. Ignoring customers and refusing to provide management assistance is not how a business should operate. I will be reporting this experience to corporate.

March 7, 2026, I attempted to place an order at the Wendy's drive-through located at 10101 New Berlin Road at 10:45 PM. (For a simple burger ) Despite the restaurant appearing open with visible staff inside, there was no response at the microphone. Proceeding to the window, I was further met with complete silence and no service. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I'm left questioning whether this reflects Wendy's standards for customer service.

Baconator with almost no bacon on it. Dumping mop bucket out the back door, so the sidewalk and road by the drive thru order screen is greasy and smelly. What the hell is going on here?

Horrible. Tried to grab a few jr cheeseburgers for the kids before we went trick or treating on Halloween and they made all of them wrong. All they had was cheese and meat no pickles or condiments. On top of that when I walked in not a single hello or how can I help you. This was a mobile order that I placed 15 min prior to arriving but yet it wasn’t done when I got there. Fries were also cold and not salted. I’ve been going to this location for years now but that’s the last time and you would think it would be slightly better since they did a remodel of the interior recently . Be grateful you have a job people or if you don’t like it get a better education, but don’t take it out on customers because your life is miserable. Every employee at that location needs training at home and at work.

Literally the worst ever the food is mid and they take ages to bring anything to you. If there’s any sort of line in the drive thru be ready to wait nearly an hour for your food.

Had to wait forever to get my order taken. Then after being told they were out of ranch I asked for honey mustard and sweet and sour. Start to eat my nuggets and they are still cold in the middle. Get to my burger I ordered the bacon double stack. It has no bacon and it to is cold and undercooked. Fast food costs entirely too much money theses days to be such poor quality. Get your act together

It was $20 for 2 $5 biggie bags and 1 $6 dollar biggie bag. They didn’t have any small drink holders nor french fries holders so they charged you and didn’t say anything.
