There’s a new owner in charge, and they’ve completely stepped up the game! New menu, better flavors, and pride in every plate. The shrimp & steak burrito is top-tier goodness, perfectly balanced, packed with flavor, and something I’d recommend to anyone. My personal go-to? The munchie fries! Absolute comfort food that always hits the spot. And let’s talk about the sauce, usually, I’m all about verde, but here, the red sauce is the star. It’s bold, flavorful, and brings the whole meal together. Big shoutout to the new owner for taking pride in this place and doing things right. We had the best carne tacos. The food was fresh and not greasy at all. The art on the walls was amazing.

Went to Banning California over Thanksgiving Holiday. My friend told me about Taco Tuesday & Wednesday. Their Beef Tacos are so amazingly delicious!! Tuesday bought chicken and a beef taco. Went back Wednesday and had to buy 3 beef Tacos!! They were so good whatever it is they marinate the meat in is frickin fantastic 😍 good job!!!

I moved to Banning a year and a half ago. I didn’t realize this spot was right next to my house. It’s tucked away a bit…but a Gem!! I knew it was gonna be good just by the salsa bar alone. I go mainly in the evening. The night staff is awesome. I met Melissa (the server) my first time here and I told her I would be back all the time. I only miss one or two days out of the week. The food is fresh. The people are real. Service is great. Hit it when the night shift works!! They take care of ya!! ***** 5stars!!!

Food was very good, the cook Gerald ( I think that's his name) lol He has very good hands for the kitchen. My tacos were awesome and had amazing flavor! The new lady they got is very nice and very friendly, she has sooo much patience. I went with my fiance and she had already taken a few drinks and was giving the lady a hard time and she was just so nice she still took our order. She was very helpful the whole time we were there.

Anyways I had my kids with me (yes kids can be annoying at times and very difficult to make up their mind when it comes to eating) well she was very patient with them the whole time we were there. The cook didn't seem too happy he rolled his eyes a few times when we were ordering like if he didn't want to cook for us or something (It was the short guy, not the taller skiny guy) I had some tacos and they were very good, salsas and food didn't disappoint. I totally recommend the street tacos they are amazing.

Great carnitas tacos and beef taquitos. Condiment bar offers four different salsas. Order at the counter, the server brings it to your table and the food is always hot. We often stop here on the way to or from Palm Springs, it's right ofthe 8th St, Banning exit from I-10.

Sept 20, Just passing through doing a delivery and came upon this and thought it all sounded delicious so I ended up getting "Munchy Fries" 😋 Sept 21, Day 2 was not as great, I went and ordered finely. It wasn't until I was waiting to pay that it turned into 5 min before someone came to the window to tell to me what my total was. I will admit I was very close to honking to see if anyone was going to acknowledge I had pulled forward. Other than other that moment, the food was delicious 😋 I got a wet steak and shrimp chimichanga.

Summer time and my first time getting the mini tacos over there. First, theyre ac is working. Second, those little tacos are so delicious. I like it that it’s just that simple. i gave it a four bcoz i know there are still things to improve and more food to try. But i loved it❤️

I haven't been in awhile but the good was good 👍🏾 I got the carne asada burrito with chips and pico. Everything was fresh and tasty. The one change that has happened is they have 2 prices, cash and non cash. If you pay cash you her 4% off of the non cash price. Just remember to bring cash so you can pay the lower price.

Love to the owner and other gentleman working there, but the woman in the drive have yet to meet one kind, and respectful, kind of rude and I go alot for the food, food is amazing but the service does need help. Atleast be kind.

I wouldnt recommend this place allthough the food is decent the service is horrible. The ladys in the front are not ever helpful and are always rude. Today i ordered a ceviche tosdada and was told it would be 2 hours because they were busy. When i arrived and asked about my tostada the lady said it wasnt ready with so much attitude i then asked gow much longer and she rolled her eyes and said we havent even started it. Mind you there was one guest in the lobby and the drive thru was empty. This is the 3rd time ive expierenced bad service here you guys should really consider getting new cashiers yiur rude ones are killing your business. Future customers do not waste your time here.

Had issues with food and didn’t offer to refund or remake it. Had to pay for another one to be able to have the correct item that was ordered.

I have had good food here before.. I thought It was A taco shop. Seems like now all they do is make weird burritos with chips in them. I would be there even day if it was A good fresh taco shop!!

I got home before finding out so I called and the lady that answered said they wouldn’t do anything about it, if I want a different burrito I can come pay for a different burrito. To me that was extremely rude!

I had ordered asada fries at this place and while I was eating, I notice that there was this raw, chunk of a potato!! I wouldn’t mind if it was at least cooked through but this is just wrong.

They said it came with Guac but they did not put it on either. I’m used to burrito places at least putting beans in the burrito. The size was also no bigger than the average Mexican food place.

Dang 4 tacos a side of rice n beans and a larch drink $29 are you serious. My drink had a full cup of ice. I will never come here again for the prices overly priced and the lady at the window had a serious demeanor.

Went in here to eat with my family for the first time & the short girl at the register had a tremendous attitude talked to me like shit got my order wrong asked for a plain taco then argued saying I didn’t ask for it plain and demanded that I pay for a new taco plain rather than just take it back and bring it out plain rolled her eyes and smirked terrible service will NEVER go back also mentioned to all of my friends and family around the banning and Beaumont area about this and I encourage anyone reading this to not go here you will be met with aggression attitude and arguments

I went in for lunch really quick and ordered menudo , wait time was understandable.. the girl in the front did fine. But, literally all it had was broth,a bone, and a few pieces of meat (no corn/maiz) the flavor was ok but it was falling short of actually being menudo… i would have rather them told me they didn’t have anymore menudo at that point because it was a waste of money .

As I said Santiago has great food and service if the cashier likes you but for me it's a no go because I tried. I'm apologize if i offended anyone but i do not apologize for the experience i had. This will definitely be my last time coming to Santiago's Restaurant. I've given this place multiple chances because I like supporting small businesses, but the quality keeps getting worse every time I visit. I ordered three burritos that were over $15 each, and they were extremely disappointing. They were very small, barely had any meat, and were incredibly salty to the point that it was hard to enjoy them. For that price, the portion and quality were unacceptable. I also ordered a lengua taco that cost almost $5, and it was just as disappointing. The meat was very dry, tough, and there was barely any of it in the taco. It's really sad to see a place go downhill like this. The prices keep going up, but the portions keep getting smaller and the food quality keeps dropping. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Orders two burritos, a carne asada chimichanga, and 4 street tacos. We got the four tacos and a fajita chimichanga. That's it. 1/2 the order and half of that was wrong. No tags on the bag, so it has to be the restaurant, not the door dash driver. Almost an hour to get the missing food? Hard pass. I'll go somewhere else to make sure I get the food we actually order.
