He ido ya tres veces a este restaurante y siempre salgo encantado. Maahin, la camarera, fue muy simpática y muy amable, al igual que todo el personal, que siempre ofrece un trato excelente. Fuimos con mi esposa... mientras conocíamos el centro de la ciudad. En este local pudimos disfrutar de una atención muy cordial, una sangría exquisita y una paella de mariscos absolutamente recomendable. Nosotros comimos una entre los dos, pero es una porción más que generosa para una sola persona. Excelentes precios y la ambientación te permite sentir el aire español en cada detalle, desde la vajilleria hasta las instalaciones del recinto. Gracias por la atención y la experiencia

Everything was delicious, and the restaurant had a very cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. Both the service and the menu were available in English without any issues. We were served immediately when we arrived at 9pm. Their paella is tasty not too salty and the rice is cooked at the right texture. Music is not too noisy here and we get to experience Barcelona even better at this restaurant.

Found this place on our way to Casa Batllo today and decided to return in the evening as the menu had a good mix suitable for families. We ordered a range of dishes from a mixed grill to paella. It was great! Food was amazing, just what we needed after a long day sightseeing. Alfonso our server was very helpful and attentive and I'd recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona 🥰

During my trip to Spain, I visited Can Plaça — a popular local restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! Their gambas al ajillo were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. 🦐 The shrimp were perfectly cooked — juicy and tender — and the olive oil was rich with garlic flavor without being too heavy. The balance was amazing. The oil was so good that I couldn’t stop dipping my bread into it until the plate was completely clean. :)

I came here very early in the morning, but the staff was incredibly kind. The food was also absolutely delicious! Last night I tried paella at another restaurant, but it was really disappointing. So, right after I woke up today, I searched for another place and found Can Placa, which opens at 7:30 AM and had great reviews. I decided to try their paella for breakfast, and it was a huge success! I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy great food.

After our Flamenco masterclass, we sat in this lovely understated restaurant. Nahuel was our waiter; he first stood out when he put cardboard under the table so the table did not wobble (I hadn’t even asked); we received hand wipes before we ate. Food was exceptionally cooked; service so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place and it’s near the station.

We arrived in Barcelona and decided to get out for a walk, as we were walking back to our room we decided to check out this restaurant and decided to have dinner , we started with drinks, I had sex on the beach, a lovely cocktail, my husband had Spanish beer. We really enjoy our dinner of mussels, Caprese salad, mixed meat, platter, and red velvet cake. We shared everything and it was plenty for two. Alphonso was very nice, he spoke good English, thank-you for you service. We may even head back for dinner again before we head back to Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Can Placa gives the impression of a more upscale restaurant, which is reflected in its pricing — clearly in the higher range. The service is excellent: very friendly, attentive, and professional. The menu offers a sufficient selection of dishes, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. The chicken paella was very good in terms of flavor, but it arrived only lukewarm. It felt as if the food was prepared in advance and then simply finished in the oven. The dish was served about 15 minutes after ordering. Paella: 6/10. The goat cheese salad was below average. The cheese was completely cold and poorly baked, and the dish lacked balance and creativity — adding elements like nuts, honey, or cranberries would have helped. The salad was also swimming in oil. Goat cheese salad: 3/10. I’m glad for the experience, but next time I will probably choose a different restaurant.

Due to proximity to my hotel i ate here twice, one evening before the flamenco show next door and the other at lunch before my flight home. Both times i had vegetable paella. As a solo traveller, i really appreciated that they serve this as a single size as many places are min. 2 people! The flavour, portion size and quality of the food was excellent cooked traditionally. Service was professional both times and very quick. They told me 20mins for paella...and 20mins it was! Lovely seating area outside often full but plenty indoors too. Twice i witnessed street dancers entertaining outside the restaurant in evening approx 7.30pm 1 night and 9.30pm another creating a lively atmosphere. Great fuss-free restaurant catering to all in a fab location

Very solid place for dinner. This was close to us, so that was also good. Tapas prices were a bit high, but large portions that we shared, so it worked out just fine for us. We had cuttlefish shared for a shared starter. I had the mixed meat plate which was generous and tasty, and just what I wanted.

We arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 PM and were seated immediately. The food was served quickly and arrived hot. The servers were able to communicate in English, which made ordering easy. We were a group of five, and everyone enjoyed their meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, including seafood paella, black paella, chicken wings and tenders, lamb ribs, a large plate of clams, shrimp gambas, and salads. The restaurant closes at 1:00 AM. I will definitely recommend.

The restaurant has a really nice vibe. The food and drinks are very good quality. It’s in a central location and reasonably priced.

TOURIST TRAP The food was overpriced, terrible quality and terrible staff. They made us walk to the front to pay our check but never said that or even came to check on us once the food was out.
