Ate here as part of a tapas tour through Eat with Me Tours. Every dish we were served was delicious! We only had one water for our large group of 20, and he did a great job taking care of us! The potato app with a Smokey sauce was probably my favorite dish — ate it too quickly to photograph it!

Third time visiting Barcelona. And always discovering great places to eat. After an amazing day walking around we went to La Barceloneta. Walking in the area we found L’Ostia. Located at La plaza de la Barceloneta this amazing restaurant has it all. The food was amazing. We just wanted some tapas and our server Gorka suggested some Bombas as a traditional appetizer in Barceloneta. You’d must order some, are delicious. We order a paella tradicional L’Ostia en it was really delicious. If you feel Like having amazing food in La Barceloneta area this is a MUST.

We had an excellent meal here and the waiter also recommended some interesting and delicious local wines. The food was all very good, we particularly liked the black rice and the mussels. The location is just back from the marina in a cute plaza, with much better food than any of the restaurants along the front or by the beach!

I had an amazing time at L’Òstia de la Barceloneta! It’s located in a charming little square in Barceloneta — a great spot that’s both central and surprisingly peaceful. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with delicious tapas full of fresh flavors. Special thanks to Pal, who was absolutely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Barcelona and want a memorable tapas experience!

Great night out with friends. The place stood up to the expectations since our previous visit in 2018. Came with great memories of calamari and patata brava, went with new favourites like the clams and the red prawns. La Bomba de Barcelona is must have and the rest is to your choice. We can’t fault the place also thanks to Nicoletta - best waiter 😜 with hidden Italian roots. Would strongly recommend but book as it is busy!!

Want to eat local? Come here. The only place we came back twice during our stay in Barcelona (even though the first time a pigeon pooped on both of us, so stay under cover!). Fantastic foods and a very friendly atmosphere, they made us feel like we lived around the corner and were regular guests. You can even feel the smell of sea. Most places of this quality are either for tourists with all the glam (like the plethora of restaurants just next block along the main street or the ones downtown) or are a bit bland/simple. However with all its rustic simplicity this place served some of the best foods we ate in Barcelona. We miss it already.

Located in Barceloneta, this restaurant is in a square you wouldn't find by accident. Thankfully, one of our group members who lived in Barcelona recommended it. We visited on a sunny and warm day, perfect for an outdoor lunch 🌞. There are plenty of tables outside, which is great for large groups like ours of ten people. We started with appetizers like bread with tomatoes, smoked sardines, shoulder ham, and fried green asparagus as for my vegetarian option. For the main course, our group shared paella, while I had a delicious rice with vegetables. The local new wine, red and white, recommended by the waitress was a hit with everyone. We couldn’t leave without trying the Crema Catalana for dessert, and it was fantastic. All the food and drinks were very tasty, and agreed by everyone 😋. The service was good overall. The waitresses were kind and friendly, though the older waiter seemed a bit rude. Additionally, the service was a bit slow, especially when we waited for the bill 🤔. Overall, it was a very nice experience. This is definitely a great spot for lunch in Barceloneta 🙌🏻.

Girl on the Mosel

Restaurant with outdoor tables in a nice shaded square. We ordered about 8 tapas to share between 4 people. Service was prompt and friendly. Menu in English. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and quaint. The Sangria was refreshing and the sauce on the potatoes was a little spicy but good.

Great place worth to come! Food very yummy ale cava taste very fruity. Nain courses well also as desserts. Atmosphere very nice. They have standard menu and also chefs one with dishes preperd by himself during some houers as he is in the restaurant.

What a wonderfully chic little restaurant! I came with a gf. We had cava poured for us moments after we sat. The server helped us order and told us when we had enough food for the first round. They have the best patatas bravas with chorizo I have ever eaten. If you like olives get the anchovy stuffed ones. Their menu is in many languages plus the staff all speak English very well. Each dish we had was more delicious than the last. If you go tell Eduardo that I sent you!

Un lugar al que siempre vuelvo. La experiencia es excelente: cocina auténtica, producto de calidad y un ambiente que invita a disfrutar sin prisas. Quiero destacar dos platos que, por sí solos, ya justifican la visita: Calamares a la romana: perfectos. Crujientes por fuera, tiernos por dentro y con un rebozado brutal. Probablemente los mejores que he comido. Paella L’Ostia: impresionante. El arroz en su punto, sabrosa, generosa en ingredientes y con un fondo que marca la diferencia. De las mejores paellas que he probado.

A nuestra llegada a las 14 nos dijo que no servian más mesas que iban a tope, tenían mesas vacías y hemos ido otras veces con colas largas. Le dijimos que incluso habíamos ido a propósito y nos dijo que no nos servirian. A otro camarero le preguntamos y nos sento sin problema. A la gente que venía este camarero a algunos los sentaba a otro los echaba y repito con sitios vacíos. Una pena que se trate así a cualquier persona pero más a la gente de la ciudad que te dice que viene hasta ahí a propósito. Espero que sea algo de ese día porque fue una pena. Porque comimos genial y el tiempo de espera fue muy poco.

Buen sitio para tapear en la Barceloneta. Su cocina es mediterránea y la carta extensa. Es un sitio ideal para grupos grandes porque tienen salas privadas dentro del restaurante. Podéis hacer un pica pica entre todos y así probáis un poco de todo. Lo único negativo, para mi gusta, que la paella está bien, sin más. Cada año voy varias veces, la mayoría en verano, y siempre salimos contentos. Probad el croquetón, el puntele (como un risotto pero hecho de pasta) y las sardinas a la brasa.

Tapas y raciones en una bonita plaza de la Barceloneta. Dispone de mesas en terraza e interior. Servicio rapido y muy atento. Platos ricos de un menú amplio. Todo lo que pedimos nos gustó. Precios razonables.

Buen local para comer unas tapas o unos platillos en la centrica plaça de la Barceloneta. Nos gustarón especialmente las bravas, la tortilla de patata y las bombas de la casa, y lo que menos nos gusto, ese día, fue una parrillada de verduras un poco "desangelada". El único pero fue el servicio, bastante desorden en las comandas, pero un mal día lo puede tener cualquiera.

Hermoso lugar en la Barceloneta. Todo muy rico, buena atención y un precio correcto. Solo pongo 4 estrellas en lugar de 5 porque, como en la mayoría de los lugares de catalunya, las porciones son un poco chicas con respecto a las porciones de otras regiones y países. Sin embargo, todo muy correcto y recomendable

Vimos este restaurante en un vídeo de YouTube donde recomendaban varios lugares de Barcelona. La verdad es que no nos decepcionó, la bomba estaba súper buena y las bravas de 10! El pan con tomate, lo más flojito. El personal muy simpático. La verdad es que es un lugar muy recomendable!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a good hotel. Nice location, the food was really good and fresh. On the downside i was surprised by how neglected the toilets were. No toilet paper, overall not taken care of and dirty. The waitress spoke no english but we managed to order!

Great little place in the middle of the old town of Barcelona. Food us tasty and portions are big enough. Their paella is decent and the pimentos are simply great! Staff is friendly and the servica is fast, even when the place is busy.

Had several tapas and a bottle of wine. Left stuffed. The food was good, the service was good, and we were not rushed through our meal. 5 tapas to share is enough for 2 people

La comida muy buena y el lugar muy agradable!😋 Pero el servicio va bastante despacio y no son demasiado atentos…

Este restaurante tiene que elegir : O poner mas paella en el plato o bajar el precio. A parte de eso, la ubicacion es muy buena. La comida tambien, comimos varias tapas deliciosas. Los camareros agradables. La verdad es que le dejo solo 3 estrellas por la relacion cantidad / precio de la paella. Eramos 4 adultos que pidieron paella, por 23€/ persona, o sea 92€ de paella. Nos llegó una paella que realmente era buena, pero era tan fina que nos dejó decepcionados, por no decir con hambre. Conclusion : para comer tapas es un SI, para comer una paella, mejor ir a otro lugar

Service was weird, we felt a lot of pressure despite trying to be quick and polite. Bombas were fine, bravas and paella were kinda bad. Places with enormous menus that are open all day… I knew better and I learned my lesson.
