great food and service! we were seated fast and accommodated right away. the orders came fast and the one who served us (she looks like the owner) was so hands-on and offered a lot more options. The tapas were great. The creme Catalan wasn’t too sweet as well. We like the paella (not in the photo - both the meat and seafood) but the paella negra was salty for our taste. it was a good experience still!
An excellent foodie choice! Food was amazing, very rich flavours, excellent spices. Very delicious. Food looks and tastes really good. Strongly recommend this place, if you want to experience a local food choice , served by local people in a nice friendly way. I was super excited to taste the tapas menu! The daily menu is also a great choice , and a great value for the money
Great local authentic restaurant. We came for lunch and were the only tourists. Portions ranged from below average to very large, so best to ask about portion size beforehand. We paid under 20 euros for a delicious 3 course meal, great value for the money. Delicious and authentic, atmosphere was really local too.
We enjoyed a mid-day meal of Osso bucco and Catalan Chicken and dried fruit; both were delicious! It’s a small restaurant with a bilingual menu (Catalan/ English). They have an extensive bar menu and they brew a great latte!
Catalan restaurant, has variety of dishes to offer. They had a deal of a starter, main dish, drink and dessert for 16 euros which was great. The food was awesome and the staff were really nice, our waiter helped us with everything we needed. I'd have said I'll come back but I'm a tourist, so I'll say that if you're visiting Barcelona you definitely have to try them.
We just happened to walk past this place after visiting the Picasso Museum. They were offering €15+ 3-course set lunch. The options were well over the value that we paid for. Except for the paella which we felt the risotto rice could have been cooked more, but everything thing else brought a smile to our faces. Especially recommend their Pork Shank cooked with Cognac and Broccoli. Wow! Mind blown.
Founf this place by accident casually wondering around the area. We were tired and just got in not knowing what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised! The service was very good! A very kind waiter gave us a very nice table within a minute, explained the menu and was back with our wine in seconds. They had a special deal 20€ for bunch of tapas. We ordered that and few other things from the regular menu. Everything was delicious, the portions were great. The atmosphere was very artistic and nice. We had a great time! I definitely would be back on my trip. Great food, great service and super nice atmosphere! Also really inexpensive!!

Good food that arrived fast. The salmon avocado tartar was fantastic, especially with the tomato bread. We'll come back again!

Stopped in for breakfast and had the Spanish Omelette. My wife had an omelette with onions and bacon. They were both fantastic and very reasonably priced. The coffee was good too.

Food is perfect and very convenient. romantic place and very quiet. I recommend everything of the menu.

Fuimos a comer.
Nice place, great service. They have many Catalan specialties. I went there three times and tried several. Maybe it’s me that I don’t particularly like Catalan cuisine, but I didn’t find the food particularly interesting. Also, portions are medium-small. They have a daily menu at 16.5€ Overall I’d say a solid 4 stars.
We had the black seafood paella and Catalan Chicken with cappuccinos. I can really recommend the Chicken in Catalan sauce, it was super tasty, with dates and pine nuts- very flavourful! The paella was also tasty, but there was only one prawn and two mussels and the portion size wasn’t the best as the dish was quite shallow. The service was good and there were English and French menus which was helpful.
Ordered food from the daily lunch menu. There were 2 different lunch menus one for around 17e and one for 21e. The food from both menus tasted terrible, we left half of it not finished. Some of t…
Really nice authentic place. Visited on our first evening. Lively atmosphere, great food, flowing win by the glass. A good introduction to Barcelona.
Had the caçots, hoping authentic. Was really disappointing! 5 fried sping onions - normally would be from a charcoal grill…. With a little bit of romesco sauce and tomato bread. The - not good - 5 …
The food was really extremely bad. Even the tomato bread (what could possibly go wrong with that?) was not good at all. The waiter was surprised that we left the restaurant after 20 minutes. The food…
The worst paella I have ever had. One prawn and a few cubes of cuttlefish. Bad vibes, I hope the waiter finds some happiness in the world. Avoid this place at all costs
Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Got the tapas set and every dish was bad (stale bread, bad flavour) but the chicken katsu may give us food poisoning. The chicken was completely raw - when we brought this up with the waiter, just two drinks were comped. Given how raw this chicken was, I would not feel safe eating here again.
