In bcn people use to eat Tapas mostly but if you need to eat real food, like pizza, salad, steak, pasta Spacca Napoli is the right place. 500gr of steak with patatoes costs 22 Euro. A pizza is around 12 Euro. In 2 you can eat and drink with around 30 -40 euro depending on the dishes. At the end the coffee, in bcn if there is something that you lack of is a good coffee. In spacca napoli the coffee is one of the best you can find. Unfortunately i did no photos of the place but don't expect there to be a touristic place (and that's the best thing of this place)

We found Spacca Napoli by chance while walking around, and from the outside it immediately made a great impression. That feeling was quickly confirmed by the menu displayed at the entrance and, most of all, by the warm welcome. The staff is 100% from Campania in attitude, humor, and hospitality, a perfect calling card for a restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian cuisine. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, well cared for, and incredibly well organized. It’s not very big, and that actually works in its favor: the atmosphere feels intimate and cozy. The service is excellent, friendly, and engaging. They joke with you, involve you a little, comment here and there, but never in an intrusive way. It feels natural, authentic, and very Italian. And then there’s the food. Simply sublime. I’m running out of adjectives. The dishes already look amazing in photos, but the flavors are easily ten times better. We ordered a pasta bake, fried zucchini flowers with stracciatella (pure poetry, perfectly fried and not heavy at all), the “grandma’s meatballs” with a sauce so good it was almost emotional, pasta with Genovese sauce done in true Italian style, and finally pasta with provola and potatoes, absolutely outstanding and just like homemade. We couldn’t manage dessert because we were completely full, but everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked spectacular. The coffee? Just as good as everything else. I’ve officially run out of adjectives. A must-stop in Barcelona. Finally, the biggest strength here is authenticity, and that can be a double-edged sword. If you want real Italian food, genuine hospitality, and flavors that speak for themselves, Spacca Napoli delivers at a level that’s hard to beat.

As a tourist, I was looking forward to enjoying an authentic Italian meal, and this restaurant turned out to be a great choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and able to communicate comfortably in English, which made the experience even more pleasant. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they were kind enough to accommodate us and find us a table without any hassle. The food itself was excellent and clearly made with care. I tried several dishes, including the meatballs, potatoes, pizza, and stuffed eggplant, and every single one was delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portions were very satisfying. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area who wants to enjoy quality Italian food in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent. They have a reputation for serving the best Neapolitan pizza in town — and they deliver on it. The dough is thin, yet perfectly chewy. The tomato base clearly is from sun ripen Sicilian tomatoes. And the toppings are some of the best around. The next result is delicious, simply enjoyable. Service is super friendly, they’re much welcoming.

Authentic Neapolitan cuisine in the centre of Barcelona! We recommend getting the meat dumplings (meatballs with tomato sauce), the Scialatielli pasta with the zucchini and of course a classic Margherita pizza!

Authentic Tranquil Italian in the heart of Bustling Barcelona We came here after seeing recommendations online (IE the best of, TripAdvisor, google etc), I myself LOVE Italian cuisine and Spaccanapoli looked the perfect place and boy were we right. Staff/Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ With no prior booking just a walk in at a busy time, they made the utmost effort with no issue to get us a table and make us feel welcome. The lady that greeted us was polite, courteous and very hospitable. Menus, drinks and options all made promptly but not rushed, no pressure and very relaxed. We were later served by I assume the manager, again a truly lovely gentleman who ensured nothing was too much, after a bit of confusion over ordering 'apple juice' and recieving a cider / beer which we laughed about (where others could have been frustrated or acted differently), he served our food fresh from the kitchen with no delay. Upon completion no rush to leave, no pressure to remove ourselves for a booking, just a really nice homely family feel and vibe, very polite and very professional and fun with our 8yr old. Decor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic authentic authentic, if you're a sopranos fan, it felt just like walking into Arty Buccos with Tony and the family on that night when the power was out... If you know, you know. Complete with checker tablecloth, and an abundance of Napoli memorabilia, including very eye-catching tributes to the man himself Diego Maradona from his trophy Laden successful time at the Serie A club. Hand of God aside, there were also tributes to famous Italian celebrities, public figures both on the walls and in the menu, which was a nice touch and different to a bog standard boring printed menu. One really cool thing was the name of the restaurant printed onto the bottles of house water, very very niche and made it feel special. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXCEPTIONAL EXCEPTIONAL EXCEPTIONAL Words will struggle to do justice to the flavours we experienced, it was a masterclass in cuisine. I ordered Pasta Ragu, my wife Gnocchi and my daughter Pizza (of course) and each dish was both fragrant, tasty and impeccably presented, you can tell the kitchen staff and ownership really pride themselves on presentation and delivering a top class, made with love experience and that is exactly what we received. Portion sizes were almost too good as even I struggled to finish the Ragu, something that NEVER happens, yet we looked around at other diners and not only were they full and happy but their meals looked incredible, plenty of compliments were made to the chef that night. Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A hidden gem would be my description, a little awkward to find for a tourist but situated in a gorgeous alley of chic bars and restaurants alongside shops and great architecture (if that's your thing). Away far enough from the loud and brash nightlife but well within the area to comfortably spend a few hours soaking up the culture. Accessible to a point from out taxi but plenty of transport options available. Overall rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We can't rate this place highly enough in all areas, super clean, immaculately presented, wonderful staff, impressive decor, superb value and exceptional food..... There's not much else to say but if we could eat here every night, we would Thank you for the hospitality, if ever we're back in Barca, we're booking a table

When you go to a Neapolitan Restaurant and the first thing you see is a picture of Diego, you know you are in the right place! What an excellent restaurant, we tried their pizza, pastas, zucchini and meatballs and EVERYTHING was delicious. We are definitely coming back for more

My rigatoni with pistachio and bacon was incredible, but their truffle long pasta dish was probably the best pasta I have ever had. Their fritattina was really good as well. Mariano gave us a 5 stars service. We will be back!

Excellent pizza, the dough is so fluffy and soft, while tomato sauce is fresh and tasty. We also ate 'parmigiana di melanzane' which was also very tasty. The worse dish was pasta with basic tomato sauce and riccota, not tasty at all while pasta was too much 'al dente'. Service and atmosphere were excellent

This place is amazing. The fried burrata was delicious, clearly top quality ingredientes were used. We have been exploring Neapolitan pizzas in Barcelona, and not many places come even close to the quality of the pizza dough here. This place is highly recommended, reservation is a must.

Went there on 23 Oct 2024 for lunch. The food was excellent as were the service, and the portion was generous. We ordered the prawn pasta which is unique and delicious. We also had a pizza which is delicious and had very fragrant crust. This place is popular with the locals.

Exceptional food, the best we had in Barcelona. This hidden gem appears to be a local favorite. The best Margherita Pizza I've ever had. Excellent homemade pasta, too. Reasonably priced delivered in a timely fashion by friendly staff. Definitely not to be missed!

What a gem we found so close to the bustling touristic area in Barcelona. The restaurant is inviting and an escape to the busyness just outside of it. It’s a cozy, laid back, family style restaurant. Both their pizzas and pastas are unique, authentic, freshly prepared with quality ingredients. We loved it so much we came a second time and it didn’t disappoint. The service is excellent and super fast. The burratta pizza and the pistachio creamy seafood pizza were a highlight for us, although I don’t think you can go wrong with any item on their menu.

Went with family, excellent pizzas (massive variety of simple and unusual ingredients) and pastas (super fresh and delicious). Great waiting staff and lovely spot in general.

Es un lugar pequeño y acogedor, está bien ubicado y hay bastante gente, por lo cual recomiendo reservar antes y llegar puntual. En general está bastante bien la atención está bien, la comida buena. Lo único es que quizás en la pasta con ragù e ricotta me esperaba la carne como en el Clásico ragú napolitano, pero era más salsa, y por esto se sentía era sabor del tomate, pero igual estaba buena. Me imagino que será la manera de ellos de hacerlo, pero no me lo esperaba de esa manera. Pero en general bien. Tuvimos un pequeño problema con la comida, por lo cual el restaurante tuvo un gesto amable y está muy bien que estén pendientes a pequeñas cosas y detalles como estos.

Pedimos una pizza bufalina y una melanzane. Pedimos también unos ziti alla genovese. La comida bien, tal vez la pasta un poco más al dente de lo que esperaría. Las pizzas muy bien también masa muy buena y esponjosa y pizzas muy sabrosas, sobre todo la melanzane. Bien de precio, nos salió a unos 20€ por persona (contando la bebida). Pizza buena y servicio top. Le pedimos de cambiar mesa y fueron super amables, ademas nos invitaron a chupitos de limoncello. También los precios de las pizzas son honestos. Sobre 20 euros cada una, pizza y bebida. Lo único la música esta muy fuerte que cuesta hablar.

La comida estuvo muy buena, las porciones son correctas y no hubo platillo que pidiéramos que no estuviese rico. El personal atento en general, aunque tuvimos que pedir varias veces las cosas que se olvidaban… **Lo único desagradable es que ha caído del techo una cucaracha sobre la mesa de los comensales frente a nosotros y ha sido muy incómodo el momento de verle caminando sobre la mesa y los clientes de pie gritando, suerte que ya habíamos terminado de comer. La música un poco alta para ser un restaurante (opinión personal). No es la primera vez que venimos, y volveremos, la comida es excelente.

Restaurante italiano con muy buena calidad. Fuimos mi pareja y yo para comer y a pesar de no tener reserva fueron muy amables para conseguirnos sitio y la espera fue de 15-20’ aprox. La pasta estaba al dente y el sabor de la salsa estaba excelente. El personal amable y el local espacioso.

✨🍕Increíble la pizza 4 formaggi (también pedimos la Nappolitana) y bien de precio. 💲Lástima que la bebida fue cara (empieza a ser habitual encontrar en Barcelona precio del refresco a 3,5€, una pena). ✨El servicio muy amable. Lugar italiano con carta italiana y dueño de Nápoles. Comimos pasta y pizza, bueno y precio medio-alto. Pedimos el postre de tiramisú clásico y (para mi gusto) no era nada italiano, el bizcocho poco empapado de café y la crema de queso muy líquida. Es un lugar que está bien por lo general.

Dining at Spaccanapoli turned out to be a tale of two cities. We ordered two entrees: one excellent while the other, a total dud. One the one hand, the codfish (bacalao) casserole was extremely flavorful, a thing of beauty. The tomato sauce, accompanying the casserole, was truly wonderful. One the other hand, the Milanese-style entrecôte just bombed. Visually speaking, it looked great and turned out be highly instagrammable (see accompanying photo). But looks can be deceiving! It was undercooked, flavorless, and accompanied by lackluster fries. To be fair though, I’m assuming most patrons order their pastas and pizzas, and we had neither. Most reviews seemed to be quite favorable when considering these traditional Italian delicacies. So steer clear of the Milanese-style entrecôte! Service was perfunctory and impersonal.

Hacía tiempo que no me ESTAFABAN. Por supuesto culpa MIA por no pedir la carta y confiar en un camarero. Que con mucha picaresca me cascó un Lambrusco de 30 €. 😅. Un lambrusco suele valer entre 15 y 18 €, ( uno normal tirando a bueno) pero por lo visto cuando veo la nota, me cascó el de 30€ (sin avisar) que por cierto, muy ácido, poco dulce y muy malo ! Claro culpa mia ! La frase esa de tráeme un lambrusco fresquito. Se convirtió en te vas a cagar cuando te traiga la cuenta ! OJO ! Con este sitio ! OJO ! PLATOS CON CUCARACHAS LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA DE MI VIDA Nunca pensé que en un lugar te sirvan los platos con una cucaracha dentro. Después de comer dos entrantes nos pedimos dos platos principales el cual uno de los dos lo tuve que devolver porque la pasta estaba extremadamente dura , me loretiraron y a los minutos trajeron nuevamente la cual la pasta seguía igual . Con mi pareja fecidimos dejarlo a un costado porque la verdad la salsa estaba buena pero la pasta demasiado dura . Empezamos a compartir su plato de Genovessa en y en el medio de la salsa tenía UNA TERRIBLE CUCARACHA. Eso hizo q me levanté a vomitar al vomitar toda su comida TAN POCO HIGENICA al baño , increíble que en una cocina tan comida como la cocina italiana sirvan semejante asquerosidad ojalá nunca les pase nadae esta experiencia . Los camareros rápidamente retiraron su plato de la mesa para que no le saquemos fotos. UNA VERGÜENZA DE LUGAR EL CHEF Y EL DUEÑO DEL LUGAR TENDRÍA QUE HABER SALIDO AUNQUESEA A DISCULPARSE. NO VALLAN A ESTE LUGAR NO CUMPLE LOS REQUISITOS

Food was okay but staff and service was pathetic. I went there for dinner alone and the person at reception denied table for single person and suggested get a take away if you single no table for you. When insisted why? He said wait one hour and we see if you can sit. I waited 45mins he gave table to 2 couple came after me and made me wait even though there were tables empty as can be seen in picture. I waited patiently to review food if it's worth it and pizza was decent but service one of the worst experience.
