Ristorante La Polveriera in Bard is a real gem! The service is impeccable: fast, attentive and with extremely friendly and welcoming waiters. They make you feel at home right away. The food is simply delicious - dishes prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, with an authentic and genuine flavor. Each course is taken care of in detail, both in taste and presentation. If you find yourself in Bard, you absolutely cannot miss this restaurant. A culinary experience to remember!

During our visit to the Bard Fort, my husband, our dog, and I decided to stop for lunch at La Polveriera. The restaurant, located inside the fort, offers a simple and tidy setting, with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The portions are adequate, and the dishes are well-presented and prepared, with just the right portions. The service was courteous and attentive, and we appreciated the staff's hospitality toward our dog, who was welcomed without any problems. A good place to take a break during our visit, with fair prices for the location.

My partner and I had lunch at the restaurant inside the Bard Fort, a truly unique experience thanks to its evocative and historically rich location. The food was very good, with carefully prepared and beautifully presented dishes. The menu doesn't offer a vast selection, but what was offered was excellent. The service was quick and punctual, ideal for those looking for a relaxing break during their visit to the fort. Considering the exclusive location, the prices are more than reasonable. I recommend this visit to anyone who wants to combine culture and taste in a unique setting.

We had lunch here for the first time during a visit to the Bard Fortress for Epiphany. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the fortress, in a very charming setting. Good quality food featuring typical Aosta Valley specialties, good platters, an excellent selection of cheeses, and delicious first courses.

A restaurant located inside what was once the powder magazine of the Bard Fort. It can be reached on foot via the path that passes through the various buildings of the fort, or by using the elevator system that takes you up to the Opera Carlo Alberto, the highest building in the fort. The dishes on the menu are typical of the Aosta Valley and beyond. For an appetizer, I ordered the platter of typical Aosta Valley cured meats and cheeses, and for the first course, the wholegrain black rice, all very good. We had to wait a few minutes before getting in; it's quite crowded on weekends. The service is quite quick and the prices are average, with a cover charge of €1.50.

Having entered to visit the fort, we stopped for a bite to eat. The menu is not extensive, but very simple and with substantially affordable prices. We ate reasonably well: pasta alla norma (11 euros), adequate in quantity and with a delicate flavour, and the Arnad salad (10), filling but with little seasoning.
