Never a bad meal. Always spot onChef! We had a baby shower this past Saturday! I cannot tell you how attentive, polite and respectful all of the staff was. I would definitely recommend you use this establiment for small parties and they have live music on Sunday's!!
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!! Absolutely NO Complaints. Place was packed, had resivations, short wait. Appitizers were out FAST. Dinner was WONDERFUL. Waitress was OUTSTANDING. Owner even came around to make sure all was good. If any negative, place is a little loud. Definitely go back to try other foods!!
I've been coming here for along time being that I live local. Thanks menu is very unique and different. You feel as if you were eating down south in the bauyo. They have fried alligator, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles the best stuffed mushrooms. So much to choose from and there drink menu is awesome. I usually order a swamp water or a zippy cooler. They also have a great selection of beer and liquor.
Great restaurant. Great atmosphere. My daughter loves the Gator bites.
We are never disappointed! Food is always incredible and the staff goes over and above.
Love this place! One of my all time favorites. We just came up from North Carolina to visit and stopped in with family and friends. As always the food and service was great! The owner who is always there even came over to say hello and to see how everything with our dinner was! To me you cannot get better customer service than that! Thank you Black Birds!
The food is the best. Always served hot. No matter how crowded. The staff treat you like family. My favorite place to dine as a couple or with a group of friends
So happy to find a restaurant that is open on Mondays. I had a Shrimp Po Boy and it was delicious. It came with French fries, cole slaw or sweet potato wedges. My friend had clams on the half shell. She said they were great too.
Stopped here by chance and was glad we did! As a NY transplant to Florida I come back for the old friends and good food. Was not disappointed! Had a great experience with Annie our server! Personal, friendly and attentive! All our food was delicious and had a great evening! Will definitely be back!
One of my favorite places to eat. Foods always good. It's guaranteed that I always at least get the Gumbo n Oysters, which are amazing. Atmosphere is very nice. After Dinner stayed a little longer an enjoyed some evening cocktails
We come from Lindenhurst and our friends come from Port Jeff. This is our meeting place. We love it here. Owners are very nice and come around to talk with you. Service is always great and so is the food. It can be alittle busy at times but we still love it.
The staff was very professional the food was great.
Was there for a party after a christening. The food was outstanding, I had a steak that tasted like it just came off the grill, service was great, cute little place with a "pub-y" vibe. Would like to go back to try a burger or something another time.
I've visited here twice and I ordered seafood with clams, shrimp and mussels. Absolutely loved it, so fresh and tasty. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks everyone.
Shawn was our server, he is absolutely hands down the best server i have encountered ever! Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks! This is a must if your close or take the drive it will be worth it!
Great gathering spot for old and new friends alike.
Great place for food and drink, really nice atmosphere. Very, VERY friendly staff. Happy hour is great, bartenders are right on with drinks and food orders, the goat cheese salad is a must try. Owner is right there making sure everything is going smoothly, will go out of his way to say hello. If I said anything bad it would be that it gets crowded and loud with laughing and talking, which means it's a hood place to go......
Great Atmosphere with amazing staff! The owner Wayne is always walking around greeting his loyal patrons, which just adds to the "hometown" feeling. The food is delicious and at a very reasonable cost. If you are in the area, I highly suggest taking a stop down.
Can the tight fitting multi stall bathrooms be converted to more spacious single occupancy ADA accessible bathrooms? Many of my older family members with limited mobility were wondering about accessibility during my cousin Jamie’s baby shower last weekend. Deadbolt indicator locks can be installed on the single occupancy bathrooms so customers know if the bathroom is occupied or available. Also, the food is fantastic.
They have the absolute most tender steak sandwich ever!! Plenty of steak on a crispy yet soft hero roll. Cooked perfectly!! And their fried green tomatoes are perfection!! Crispy even as take out.
What a great place! Nice open bar, the food was great, my Agency had a Holiday Party there recently and the atmosphere was truly perfect. Had a couple glasses of white wine, the food was delicious, the tables were spread out nicely, we had plenty of room to gather and mingle. This place is local for most of us so the trip back and forth was short. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice sports bar for a cocktail to watch your favorite game and for a delicious bite to eat. Great local place in Sayville!
This is my go-to place Atmosphere is great. The food is excellent. The staff is amazing. Plus you have the best waitress on Long Island. You couldnt ask for a better waitress then Annie. Friendly very attentive. The order is always perfect even when we change things up she remembers everything. She is very sweet and personable.
Food was great. I can’t remember the last time I had big clams that I enjoyed stopped in with my wife for a cocktail, and some appetizers was extremely satisfied with the quality of dishes were normally at any given restaurant. You can find something wrong with each dish that comes out better restaurants at least one of the dishes is a so so if you will, the muscles were absolutely outstanding can tell they were extremely fresh. The sauce was well actually sauce I eat at a lot of places. This was probably the best Muscles I ever had the wings were crispy. They were extremely tasty, and to say I was happy was an understatement. I would definitely recommend going here.
This place is the example how how a bar/restaurant should be run. The owner always stops over and says hello, the bartenders are courteous, friendly and always there to serve you with a smile. The food is great. The first time I can ever say a review needs more stars
For a bar grille the food was impressively delicious. We got two apps that were both amazing. The ribs were falling off the bone probably the best we’ve had! Deff will be back. Good atmosphere and service!
Place is awesome. The vibe here is great, very attentive staff. Specials are great. When you order your food it comes as you ordered it. The bartenders have the best attitudes I've witnessed in a while. The wings....fried green tomatoes...**chefs kiss** This was s first time visit, but will definitely be back. Reminiscent of our visit to NOLA.
Just moved to Sayville. Trying all the places. This was by far the best so far. Maybe the best seafood fra Diablo i ever had. The other meals were also outstanding- including the stuff shrimp and soup special. Service was great. We will of course be back.
I've only had the burger here to go, but on 3 occasions. Me and the boys from work get them for lunch. We all live them. They are always cooked to perfection. I've seen the menu and it looks great. Dinning room seems cozy. Looking forward to going there for dinner with my girl.
My husband and I have been coming here for five years. We’ve never had a bad meal. Everything is freshly made to order is not a fast food restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant. Wayne, the owner is fabulous. .
Went here last night! It was our first time there even though we have lived in the area for many years. My one daughter loves it there and we have her baby shower planned for next month at this restaurant. Never went thinking it was all spicy food..but it's not!! So we went tonight to check out some of the food. We started with appetizers of baked clams...pulled pork pockets...and blazing chicken fingers. All delicious! What I liked about the chicken fingers is they put the hot sauce along with the Bleu cheese on the side! For dinner I had the stuffed shrimp with jasmine rice and vegtables...my husband had the fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and corn bread. My daughter had Thai grilled shrimp over grilled pineapple with jasmine rice and vegetables. We all enjoyed our meals. Sean our server was excellent and very friendly. They did not rush us and everything came out in a timely manor. We will definitely go back. And we can't wait for the shower next month!
We go in a group 6+8 people. Our waiter is really good, friendly I think his name is Brian. Not sure but if I'm wrong I will correct in my next review. We have been there before he has no trouble handling a group table. The food is excellent. Lots of choices. I love the Reuben.
Both times here we sat at the bar, the food and service is perfect.
Must try this place... super delicious food n the staff is truly amazing
Good is great. Neighborhood plans with friendly staff. Michele was our waitress, professional and friendly,
It was our first time and the owner Wayne came over and introduced himself and made us feel at home immediately! What a nice experience - we will definitely be back - and the food was super delicious 😋 -
I would like to say my sister and I treated our sister to a nice late lunch for her birthday! From the moment we sat down at our table we were greeted by the owner, Wayne who very nicely explained how all the dishes are freshly made and welcomed us so nicely! Our waiter, Alex, was excellent. He was very attentive and kind and made us feel relaxed and comfortable from start to finish. We each enjoyed our meal immensely as it was a beautiful presentation of healthy and delicious food wirh a truly homemade flair! When it was dessert time, Alex, with a little nod of my head, read my lips when I quietly asked that a candle be put on dessert for my sister which he did making her birthday even sweeter ! Every single thing was absolutely perfect from Start to finish immensely and I and my sisters will definitely be going back! Thank you so much for everything!!
Longtime customer…..great food, great staff, great vibe. Love Wayne. But: visited yesterday for Mardi Gras, and there’s no reason why it’s not too much to ask that traditional New Orleans music wasn’t playing. Both myself and another couple repeatedly asked the staff to turn off the hip hop/rap and pop music. It’s the simple things that get overlooked. The same thing happened last year on Mardi Gras. Our meals were delicious: shrimp and grits and gumbo. Our server Kelly was fantastic! The red velvet cake was the best we’ve had in a while. Just a polite head up that the music should’ve been considered. Thanks.
Was there with 22 family members and the ladies that were taking care of us she was fantastic kept up with all us. The food came out quick and hot which had real good amount on the plate, the empty plates where taking away very quickly to make room for more. Keep up the great job
While we were seated Wayne, the owner stopped by. We asked about the beer & wine selection which he went over with us. He asked if we had questions about the menu, but we didn't. He told us what we selected was very popular. We ordered the jambalaya which was delicious. I do not like jambalaya, but I will order it next time. I chose the filet mignon steak tidbit pasta which is "outside the box" for me. It was also very good.
Favorite spot to go, you can never be disappointed, goat cheese salad with a side of steak is out of this world, French onion soup perfect to warm your soul, alligator bites yes please very crispy, crab cake you need to order three they're outstanding delicious. my daughter loves their grilled cheese you got to get the pickles out of this world. you could always share with a friend or family totally worth the time stop by after work need to de-stress the bar very comfortable great atmosphere awesome owner we'll be back again on Tuesday 💕
So it's Christmas eve, we decided to go out to eat because others had plans, and we found ourselves with free time to wander around looking at lights and enjoying the holiday decorating in neighboring towns. We came upon Blackbirds' Grille and decided to see if there were still serving. After all it's late dinner time, Christmas eve, and most places weren't open, or the kitchen had closed already. We stopped in and they we're glad to take us. There was a lively crowd inside, but not loud. The place was beautiful and inviting inside. The servers were overjoyed and an absolute pleasure. Almost if they invited us there. When the food came, it was delicious. That moment when you close your eyes and say shhhh as you chew, that was the wife as she ate her steak. Yeah it was that good. Time for the bill, steak this good, make sure your sitting right, nope the prices are very reasonable. This might have been my first time here, even though I've passed it way to many times to mention. It will definitely not be my last time. In fact I'm going to bring my family here in a couple days, right before new years. Keep up the good work. I'll see you soon
Stopped in Friday night. Place was hopping. Bar and restaurant both full. Had the best fried chicken I ever had in my life. Great staff. Owner stops at the tables to introduce himself. Will be back for sure
Thank you for a wonderful experience. We chose to have our mom's celebration of life luncheon on May 15th at your restaurant. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Everyone was great. A special thanks to Kristen for making everything easy for my sister and I during a very difficult time . I highly recommend this restaurant for all your catering needs.
Kelly was amazing. 5 stars just for her. Food, ambience and service always good. The kitchen made sure to bring all our entrees out at the same time (party of 7). This place is a hidden gem. Great burgers and crab cakes plus many other items, something for everyone. Been coming here on and off for at least 16 years. Recommend!!
This place just does it right! We keep stopping in and diving deeper into the menu and trying different things, we love all of them. Our 11 month old was with us this weekend and our server was awesome with him as well. Five stars for the food, the staff, the menu, the beer choices, and the local watering hole type of vibe the whole atmosphere has! Pic of the Philly Grille sandwich which was delicious.
Visited Blackbirds' Grille for dinner. Great atmosphere but a little loud in the resturant. The waitress did a great job and our food arrive only a short wait. I have the wedge salad with blackened shrimp and the steak sandwich. Our food was cooked perfectly. A recommended visit if your searching for a resturant ti visit with an excellent variety of food.
Scouted six different Cajun style restaurants in Long Island. Wound up in the farthest location with the best menu, the best service, and the best flavors. Totally enjoyed that jambalaya, seafood specials for fabulous, stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Wonderful venue for our small party. Service was very attentive, and the menu selection made everyone happy. Worth the drive from Connecticut for a wonderful evening
We ran away from the rain and tried something different in Sayville! Most of the items on the menu are reminiscent of New Orleans so it was an instant love (Gator tail, jambalaya, fried crawfish, etc.) We got the dry rub wings with a side of their homemade buffalo sauce. 😍 The fried green tomatoes, which came with a sauce that's No Other!! 🤩 Our entrees were ordered off the specials menu (another huge plus when we go out.) I got the lobster roll (cold) because the bartender recommended it over the warm. Babe got the Mahi Mahi tacos (not too blackened by request) and they were cooked to perfection. The staff is so personable and we really enjoyed every min here. Will definitely come back.
Nice restaurant to visit and enjoy a drink, burger or an entrée. The music is kept at a reasonable level so you don't have to yell. The menu is extensive enough to offer plenty of choices depending on your tastes. The downside: **be advise** there is a footnote on the menu stating an extra charge for credit card use and a 20% tip included for a group of six or more. Not sure about debit cards.
I was in town for a few days for work and this was one of the restaurants chosen for us. Our table was ready upon arrival. The waiter was prompt and attentive. For a large group we received our food in a timely manner and it was to everyone's liking. Nice atmosphere too!
Place was decent. I am a huge Voodoo Crab fan, so I decided to come here and get their Po-Boy's and of course their famous Gator Bites. I got my shrimp Po-Boy as usual. The thing I was most exited for was the Gator Bites. When I took out the staff were nice and quick with my order. When I tried out the food in my car the Gator Bites were decent. I had better ones in Louisiana, but they did a great job though. The shrimp Po-Boy was amazing! It was very crispy which I love. Coming here again soon!
Tried this for the first time on Sunday afternoon. It's got the dark feel of a pub, bar, restaurant. Inside was dark & noisy as there was a Christening or some even taking place so we opted for the patio. It was lovely the first 25 minutes in but then we got swarmed by 🐝 bees. The service was fast & friendly. We ordered the Blackbird Sampler, Gator Bites, A burger, and stuffed jumbo shrimp. The sweet potato fries were the best anywhere & they make that delicious, sweet, dipping sauce for them. My only disappointment was the stuffed shrimp wasn't very flavorful. I would've liked some fresh chopped garlic in the breadcrumbs. Everything was good though. I'd definitely go back. Prices were pretty standard to what's out there. And we had a couple of beers with dinner. It was reasonable. We're always looking for local spots to grab a bite & not spend $200. I can add this to a go-to spot.
Lots of parking, bartender was pleasant, helpful and making very tasty drinks, and presented them well. The bread was very good. Main course was very salty, not sure if it was just what I ordered or if it was all overly salted. Service was very good, place was casual and clean, good for families, couples, a quick meal. Outside dining area available
Got seated right away. Service was great. Only issue was food. Baked clams with little or no flavor. Chili w tortilla chips was good. Here is my main complaint. My wife ordered stuffed shrimp 🍤. There should be a rule that a stuffed shrimp needs to more than one mouthful. The shrimp were super small and the stuffing dollop was fitting for the little shrimp. I would go back and try some of the other menu items.
Food is pretty good, a little small on the amounts tho for the price. Got a large wedge salad and it was very small. Waiter made me ask him 3 times to refill water, finally had to go to the bar myself to get water.
First time visiting and 1) nice location 2) friendly staff We did not get to enjoy outdoor seating but it's a nice option for the sunny days coming. The bar is looks well kept. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Crab cake sandwich. It was very good and full of flavor. Not overly fishy. The remoulade sauce is perfect along with the raw red onions. The prices for meals were somewhat steep. So prepare to spend $$$ We definitely be back
Be prepared to wait for food. We were sat immediately but by the time our dinner arrived it was an hour later. And my special shrimp & scallops with garlic and tomatoes was lacking in flavor. Weve paid less for better elsewhere.
What a great night for a family dinner. We’ve been here before, and they are so hospitable and friendly. Bruno the owner, came over to check on us, like he always does. Britney and Brook we’re our server’s, and did such an excellent job on us. checking and making sure our order was satisfactory. Carlos, the running man, just never stopped, making sure our table was cleared when it needed to be. He also would get us extra napkins and checked on our drinks and anything else extra that we wanted. This is a Cajun style eatery, the menu was so diverse with plenty of options. The food was outstanding and no one had a problem. I would highly recommend and even insist that you go. Family dinners are very important to us, especially in this day and age. Thank you for helping us have another great night together.💜💚
Blackbird's Grille was very nice looking, with a fantastic menu selection. Went with family for a birthday and found all of our orders were somewhat underwhelming. Service was excellent. The food portions were decent, the food was properly cooked, but some was tasteless. The fried chicken was good, however the scallops and tilapia were tasteless. Calamari was well cooked and delicious.
It's a very nice place, but the tables are too close together. The person next to me needed me to move every time he got out of his chair. The staff is very friendly. I did not expect it to close at 10pm on a Friday night, especially it being Valentine's Day weekend. We only got there at 9:15pm. It was a rushed meal. All of the staff had their jackets on when we walked to the door.
I ordered a crab cake sandwich tonight, and there might have been as much as a teaspoon of crabmeat in it. Most of the sandwich was breadcrumbs ground very fine which made me think the crab must have been blended into a paste to have been in there. But, no! I realized as I was eating it that it was fried breadcrumbs formed into a burger shape. And I truly found maybe 2 small pieces of actual, white, crabmeat in the mix of tan colored crumbs. What a waste of money. Years ago when I was there the crab cake actually had noticeable crab in it. Not tonight. I fear for my stomach later with the amount of greasy fried breadcrumbs I consumed. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to embarrass my “date.”
The food was just okay but the drink I had make it a pear 🍐 I think was fantastic! On a side note I searched for black owned restaurants and this place came up. The owner was pleasant and introduced himself checking if everything turned out okay which was really nice, but he's white. Which is fine but don't advertise as black owned. I'd would absolutely go back and sit at the bar.
I'm sure this place is better when it's not Friday during happy hour however we we're seated quick enough (table of 4) and our waitress was nice enough, although we didn't see much of her. I got a burger with sweet potato wedges...of which there were maybe 6 wedges. Not necessarily a huge side. The burger was fine but nothing special. The waitress messed up an order at the table, and although it was rectified we waited an hour to get served the first time, thus waiting longer for the correction. I'll be going there again to give them a second chance.
This is the third time we are lunch at Blackbird's. If I rated it after the first time it would be a much higher grade. My wife and I both were very satisfied. The last two times my wife was disappointed in the seafood combo she ordered. All three times I was very happy with the three different beef lunches. They were busy so the service was slow although the waiter and waitresses were very friendly each time.
To begin, when you walk in this location doesn't exactly say Cajun, it reminds me more of being in an old fashioned Italian restaurant. The drinks were excellent and not overly priced. The food was decent, a bit on the bland side given that Cajun cuisine is known for spice but the portions were large. Service was a little slow ( took about 20 min to get our drinks and roughly 45 min for our appetizers )
First impression was a very busy bar, making for a loud restaurant experience. We could hardly hear ourselves speak. Granted, it was a Friday night. We were immediately presented with water and a bread basket. The bread was buttery & seasoned, crisp outside, soft inside, yummy. We ordered BBQ ribs for an appetizer. A good wait to arrive. Portion was fairly small, especially considering how tender, meaty and delicious they were. My husband ordered the filet mignon steak sandwich and I ordered the Seafood Combo Platter. Our server, while friendly, seemed very busy, not giving enough attention to her tables. No attention to refills for our soda. As the service was painfully slow, our drinks went quickly, and we relied on water. My husband loved his sandwich, perfectly cooked, steak was tender. His only suggestion would be toasted or garlic bread. My dinner was a mix of good and decent. Filet of sole, not stuffed, was good, scallops (2) were just cooked, and the clams (2) tasted more of the peppers, although nicely filled with chopped clams. The shrimp (2) were good, as were the rice and veggies. Didn't care for the stuffed mushrooms (2) at all. Bussing was quick and efficient. After the meal, someone (the owner?) came to our table, and we had a pleasant conversation, it was a nice touch to interact with customers. We had a good meal and experience. We will be back. A few other items on the menu absolutely peeked our interest.
As a new local was very excited to try Blackbirds. The name, the decor and design, even the food choices seemed alluring. Yet, my fiance brought me here for my birthday and it was quite disappointing. The delivery was fairly drawn out, wasn't pleased with the food and my fiance's fried chicken smelled like old freezer. Not to mention she had requested a candle and they forgot it. Overall the dinner could not have been spoiled much more, luckily it was spent with my love so not all was lost. Maybe the lunch is better?
Used to love going to Sunday brunch at this place, the service and food was always delicious, but lately neither has been as good as it once was. My last visit I was told we (party of 2) couldn't sit outside because a large party was coming, which was fine, but we ate and left before anyone arrived, we had to ask for water twice and I was served literally raw potatoes. They also used to give amazing little blueberry muffins, but none the last time. Maybe it was an off day, but it was enough to turn me off making another visit for a while.
So we came for drinks and appetizers.. ordered calamari and soup. ,told bartender we ate the calamari as we were starving but it was rubber..no omg. Let me take it off.. always a problem with the food here..new chef maybe?
Owner is rude, my husband didn't like the Merlot house wine and asked to switch it up for a Cab. He got the seafood platter and it was Cajun seasoned. No where on the Menu said it was Cajun seasoned. We think it should state that fact. The Owner then got into an argument with my husband about how he sold a lot of it tonight and nobody complained, then suggested we Don't return. We wont Sir, but we will re-tell this experience. Not very professional.
Long wait for food with 4yr old (2 hours). Food was fair. Server was good. Was charged 20% tip put on bill for group of 6; 5 adults 1 child 🙄 But was not told! Caught 20% when figuring out tip. Was charged 3% twice for using credit card. After discussing 1 charge removed. 6:30 reservation 9pm After finalizing bill. Overall not good and the tipping and credit card charges should be up front!
Arrived for our 6pm reservation for 5 and our table was waiting for us. Yay. We ordered three apps to share and they came out in about 30 minutes. The fried green tomatoes and the fried pickles were good but the calamari was like none I have seen before. No rings or tentacles, just what resembled fried clams. It was different but edible. About 30 minutes later the first two of our entrees arrived. That was followed about 15 minutes later with two of the remaining three entrees. After about another 10 minutes my entree finally arrived. At that point my friends had finished and I wasn’t hungry any more. The owner brought over my pastrami burger and I kindly asked for it to be wrapped to go as we had waited so long and wasn’t even hungry anymore. Instead of an “I’m sorry” I got a “you don’t know what we are going through”. I understand their is a shortage of workers but I’m sorry, we go out to eat to escape our troubles. The waitress Brittany was very nice and apologetic. At this point I don’t think that I would go back.
After sitting for 45 minutes watching every other surrounding table that came after us was served we walked out. We have our 6 year old with us, so i called en route to another restaurant only to be passed off by the 1st person that answered the phone. The second person said " Didn't you see we were busy? I mean I don't know what happened and we are down a chef since covid." I said I'm well aware it was busy however the table next to us was on dessert and paying the check so there was no reason they couldn't have served us. Our water was never refilled and we didn't get so much as an acknowledgement from our waiter that they were running behind. We won't be back nor will we be hosting our event there as this was a trial for future events
Hi Wayne (mr owner). Here is the review you encouraged me to write as you implied that my review doesn’t matter and you don’t care about your customers. Well actually you may not remember our interaction as you seemed under the influence. Truthfully, I really wanted to like this place. It seemed cute and had a nice atmosphere when we first walked in and the staff seemed nice. The wait for food was unacceptable. Took around an hour to get our dinner and not all of the food came out at the same time. Had to wait 10 additional minutes for my moms meal to come out. Portions were also very small in certain dishes and my shrimp was overcooked. The waitress was nice but seemed extremely busy and didn’t offer refills or check in often. Sadly, my infant was getting fussy since we had been there almost 2 hours in total so we had to box all food and take it to go. We also did not ask for or even receive an adjustment to the bill. Nothing was offered as an apology for the experience. When checking the reviews after the fact I see my same complaints have been mentioned in other reviews in the past and yet here I am complaining about the same things that clearly have not been fixed. I was told they were short staffed and not prepared for how busy it was as though it was a one time thing. Interesting it seems that’s been the case for a long time. From a business standpoint I simply cannot understand why you wouldn’t want to get the ticket times to be faster. You have limited tables and the longer the guest stays the less times you can turn over the table. It says alot to have no wait at 7 pm on a Saturday. The icing on the cake and the reason for my rating was your attitude WAYNE when we brought our complaints to you. The way you handled things was embarrassing. The first time you came to the table regarding our complaint, I stated that I could tell you knew already about the ticket times yet you ignored it instead of trying to check in with your customers and apologize. Oddly, you walked away saying literally nothing in response. It took me threatening this review for the waitress to tell you to come back and actually apologize. Except you didn’t. You made a fake apology and then encouraged this review implying my complaints meant nothing since you have a five star restaurant. You also touched my husband multiple times on his shoulder to the point that he had to ask you to stop touching him. As an owner you should also be dressed in more appropriate attire. At first I thought you were just another patron. First and last time eating at your establishment and I’m sure from the way you acted that you don’t care.
So I was just there and was denied service because I have a service dog and all of a sudden the owner who wasn't there is allergic to dogs! Funny thing is I was there 2 weeks ago and it wasn't a problem. My wife went in this time and that was the result. I hope they last long treating people that they are responsible for him being able to evem own a restaurant in a FREE COUNTRY that I so proudly served, oh did I mention I'm disabled!! Now that's american if I've ever seen it before! Great example!! I do absolutely have documents and a vest what are you talking about!! That's funny that you said that when I was outside across the street where nobody could see me. My wife went in and said we have documents. So why lie!!
Very disappointed we that it would b good the steak was so rubbery u couldnt even cut it that she had gotten and i ordered the fried chicken it was ok i would not go back they had offerd a free glass of wine in a tiny glass that was not even the size of the original 38.00 for the steak she couldn't even eat the service was ok
What a terrible experience. Ordered an appetizer which never came out. Waitress advised she forgot to submit it to the kitchen. Ordered a hamburger medium rare. Was delivered cooked to death. I advised the waitress and she reluctantly took it back. Waited for 20 minutes and inquired several times. They returned the burger which was now mostly RAW meat and not edible. Waitress was curt and unsympathetic to the terrible experience. She in fact insulted me by saying “I could be nicer”. I was more than nice and patient and after three screw ups. My entire dinner experience was unacceptable. We asked for a check and she did comp the burger. But the whole meal was ruined as my dinner partner and I could not eat at the same time.
Called twice tonight to make a Togo order and they put me on hold. Called from another number and said they were not busy and had tables available. Then when they finally picked up again they said they could take the order and then put us on hold again. Looks like they need a more competent person answering the phone.
