We were passing through Beaumont after a loss at the casino and we stopped in here for lunch. Wow!!! This was the best gamble of the weekend!! Service was 10 out of 10 by our server Gage and the food was also incredible!! This will be a stop we make from now on when we are passing through! Even if you are full and have consumed 2 days worth of calories …. Order the Bread Pudding with white chocolate sauce and raspberry drizzle!!!! You only live once and it’s worth every calorie!!

We had a great brunch at JWilson’s! The food and service were great. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and there was plenty of parking. The food choices were plentiful and portions were great!

I got a Cobb salad to go the other day and I must say it was awesome! They definitely load you up on the chicken and ham! Great salad that doesn’t disappoint and is very filling!!!!! Great job guys!!!!!

My husband and I are on the road again. We're at the beginning of a lifestyle change and have committed to going all in with a plant-based diet, so we were eager to see what JWilson’s in Beaumont, TX, had to offer after reading some great reviews. While it's not a strictly vegan restaurant, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our server kindly asked the manager to stop by our table, and she personally made sure we had delicious plant-based options to choose from. We ended up ordering a veggie plate and two salads, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and surprisingly filling. My husband is still talking about his salad — and we were both impressed with the personalized service. The manager’s attentiveness really made a difference. JWilson’s was a great find. It’s definitely a spot we’ll consider again the next time we’re in the area.

Stopped here our way through for vacation. Fast seating even on Saturday night. Music isn't too loud, tables aren't crammed together, lighting is a bit dark but decor is nice. Comfortable and nicely air-conditioned. The server (Randall?) was very attentive and on top of soda refills. I had the house crab cakes. They were perfectly seasoned and had a great pan-fried crisp on the bottom. Lots of meat and not too much filler. Would prefer a bit more of the sauce and lemon but still delicious. Husband had the sun-dried tomato chicken. Huge portion, variety of vegetables and he enjoyed it though it had a bit too much black pepper. He ordered the crème brûlée for dessert and it was massive and perfectly caramelized. I had the pineapple upside-down cake and it was a large portion as well. Moist cake, fresh whipped cream, very enjoyable. Thanks for a nice stop on our trip.

If you have not had the opportunity to eat at J Wilson’s in Beaumont you are missing out. From the phenomenal services and extraordinary food. We stopped by last week and were so impressed we drove from Cleveland Texas today to go back. Our server Randall was so attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Dallin went over and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. My recommendation: the Man Candy for appetizer and make sure you end your meal with the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding! What a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and our waitress was a delight. We had 3 appetizers Man Candy, Oyster Nachos and Jerk Shrimp Tostadas. For the main we ordered the stuffed chicken breast and then had the coconut cream pie and took home the pecan apple bread pudding. There was nothing we didn’t like. Next time we are in Beaumont we will definitely be back.

Great food! We stopped in for an early dinner just before 6 and I was glad me came early. The place just filled up. I noticed people where waiting for tables and I know why. The food was excellent. I have the fried fish fillet Cajun style with rice pilaf. The fish was soft and flaky with a gold crisp and crunchy batter. We where just passing through for the night but I would definitely go back. Highly recommend!

Great service. Friendly and helpful. Slight Cajun spice to the gravy for the chicken fried steak that also went well with the wedge potatoes. Nice thick layer of meat on the sandwich. I will go back.

The restaurant was very loud. The man candy appetizer was absolutely delicious! The shrimp I ordered however was not very good, strong fishy taste and not tender. I ended up leaving several pieces. The wedges served were good too. The Cuban sandwich my SIL got was very good! Wait staff was enthusiastic and prompt.

Such a great find in a city that is drowning in mid level chain restaurants. Meatloaf was perfection and the mashed potatoes were spot on. Cucumber/ tomato salad hit just right. Service was impeccable. A must for a future visits to Beaumont.

First time going. Overall the food was very good. Must try the Man Candy (pork belly), absolutely delicious. I ordered the spinach/ tomato stuffed chicken served with squash and zucchini covered in a cheese sauce. The sauce was a tad bit salty. No complaint with the chicken fried steak. Top shelf margarita w/ Tajin was amazing. Service was great, not a long wait time for a Saturday evening date night. I’ll definitely be back.

They have a good variety of beer selections. I tried a couple of them and they all tasted great. I had man candy as an appetizer. The kick and sweetness of that was great. I had a cod fish sandwich, and I loved their fries. Great portion for the price. Since this is the first time i visited them. Their waitress was nice to offer free dessert I was expecting a small sample but no, I got a full size creme brulee and it was amazing. Their dessert is spot on. Overall I had a great time there.

Food was fresh, service was great. Love the atmosphere. Parking isn't the best but we managed to beat the crowd, so that wasn't an issue. The Mediterranean flat bread was fresh and delicious. Catfish po boy could have used more seasoning but the batter was crispy without being too heavy. The spicy margarita was ok. It wasn't strong and the hot sauce have it a little kick. The atmosphere was great for a date day. We went around 4 pm on the weekend and it was pretty quiet. Definitely recommend Edit: Tried the weekend brunch. It was crowded and so loud we had to yell across the table to hear each other. The Orange Sherbet Mimosa was good. My biscuits and gravy didn't have much flavor and the sausage patty had a weird texture/taste. The hash brown casserole was good. Shrimp and grits was made with a dark gumbo roux and topped with an egg.
