Che dire..... uno dei tre migliori ristoranti di Bellagio. Chef Matteo bravissimo offre una cucina ottima e molto cursta. Location di inarrivabile bellezza in una bomboniera di nome Loppia.

Eccellente cucina che merita qualunque deviazione. Giustamente prenotatissimo con una clientela cosmopolita si pone tra le eccellenze della cucina di Bellagio. Il proprietario e chef è estremamente attento e curato nell'esaltare i sapori delle materie prime scelte con meticolosa precisione.La moglie fa dell' accoglienza una puntigliosa prerogativa mettendo così a proprio agio ogni ospite. La vista a dir poco stupenda si pone come ulteriore prerogativa di questo ristorante che sta ottenendo un crescente successo di pubblico e di critica. La lista dei vini perfetta completa l'offerta. I prezzi sono adeguati al tenore del locale.L'tima visita ha accentuato, ove mai fosse possibile,la qualità del locale ed il benessere che ne deriva.

Vengo dalla Sicilia, la terra dei sapori, dei colori e degli odori, una terra seconda a nessuna se si tratta di esperienze culinarie. Io e la mia ragazza siamo capitati in questo ristorante quasi per caso, trovandolo su un blog del settore e dopo asserci quasi arresi ad una serata sushi come tante. La ragazza che ci ha risposto al telefono è stata gentilissima e ci ha aspettati nonostante l'ora un po' tarda. Nell'attesa che si liberasse il tavolo ci ha offerto due bicchieri di un ottimo prosecco, narrandoci tutta la sua storia. Potrei raccontarvi per filo e per segno tutta la cena in ogni suo momento e vi giuro che lo meriterebbe, ma mi limiterò a dire che sia per me che per la mia ragazza, è stata una delle nostre esperienze culinarie migliori. Ottima fattura dei piatti ma soprattutto, ingredienti di altissimo livello. Da non tralasciare ovviamente l'ottimo e cordiale servizio e il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+⭐

After a walk through Villa Melzi, we came across this restaurant for lunch. The service was outstanding, since we wanted to share a main dish, they thoughtfully split it onto two plates. We ordered the veal with tuna sauce, steak tartare with burrata, and pomodoro pasta. Everything was delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. Our favorite was the steak tartare, the combination with the burrata was perfect.

Excellent food and incredibly kind and hospitable staff. We came as a last minute booking with a baby and the staff were so sweet and professional. We have been to Italy a few times and this was one of our favourite meals. Everything was very fresh and arrived in a timely manner. Must try their white truffle pasta!

We had a really wonderful afternoon enjoying our meal and sipping our wine. The staff really looked after us and were extremely attentive. The food was exceptional and the restaurant is away from the very busy Bellagio centre which meant we had a very chilled experience. Would highly recommend!

The service was great and the food awesome. Had the specials: Amberjack tartare, black truffle pasta, and fried pork chop. All very good. Ordered a second order of pasta shamelessly. Did the tiramisu and wine takeaway. Our server Giovanni was amazing. Gave us some historical information around the area. And the location is perfect next to the gardens and water.

Enjoyed our dinner here! Food was great and service was outstanding! Great selection of wine as well. Note there’s a very limited menu this season as they recently changed their business model to focus on lunch hours and it’s offered all from 11am until they close at 7pm. The more extensive menu for dinner that you see on other reviews is no longer offered which we weren’t aware of until we arrived.

Was recommended this quaint spot by our private boat driver on our trip to Lake Como, and boy were we glad! We dined outside alongside just a few other tables, fully booked but the perfect size for a romantic date. Every dish was phenomenal, as well as the wine. We especially loved the Lemon Caviar Pasta and Frozen Egg Nog dessert. Definitely recommend this hidden gem. I tell all my friends who plan on visiting beautiful Bellagio!

We had our first lunch in Bellagio at Darsene di Loppia. We enjoyed a warm welcome; they took care of our luggage upon arrival and let us choose the table we wanted (we took one with a lovely view of the street and the lake). The service has been excellent. We had several waiters who made sure we had everything we needed, and they were all very smiling and sympathetic. The food was great; we shared an octopus as the starter and took the fish (a perfectly cooked hake) and the lamb (that tasted wonderful) as main courses. We succumbed to a delicious tiramisu for the desert. Everything went very well, and we're looking forward to coming visit again :)

The food and service are excellent, and they have a great selection of wine. The olive oil that comes with the bread was so good that I had to buy a bottle to take home. However, if you're very hungry, you'll need to opt for three or four courses.

Amazing food and nice atmosphere on the little terrace between the Harbour and botanical gardens. We had lunch here. The meals are on the pricier side, but very high quality. The menu did not show many vegetarian options, but a number of the primi could be adapted for me like for example that delicious risotto.

We've been in Milan and Como for 5 days and this was our best meal by far. Welcome was warm even though we were 30 mins early. Our table is wasn't ready so they sat us nearby and offered is mini focaccia schiacchiatas. Delicious. Starter black rooster ravioli and spaghetti lemonand herb butter with caviar. Delicious. They sat us at our table near the harbour which was ideal. Their wine list is extensive and their win by the glasss which they recommended was a lovely accompaniment to our meal. Amuse bouche was smoked salmon with broccoli mouse. Wife had the fish special which was lobster, perfectly cooked with red onion, tomato and kalamata olives. She loved it. I had pigeon with an equivalent sized piece of fois gras and leg bonbon. Perfectly cooked. Delish. Finished off with a shared homemade tiramisu. Light delicate and rich. This place is ABSOLUTE DEVINE!!! The food was just so delicious. Great selection of wines. Brilliant customer service. Looking at the food, this place should be rated in the Michellin star restaurants. From starters to main course and dessert, the whole experience was amazing. There wasn't one dish where we had any dissatisfaction. A must visit place and had an amazing experience!! Would come back again!!

If you're in Bellagio and looking for a nice quite restaurant. This restaurant is right at the waterfront, quite and secluded. It's a bit away from main town to walk but the food at the restaurant was very good. I was surprised by the food presentation were perfect and the food I've ordered with my family for diner from starter to the main course and desert tastes delicious and excellent. We all satisfied and happy. One of my highlight of this place the professional service of the staff were amazing. I would rate them 10 instead of highest 5 rating. They were friendly and quick. The staff were busy and always had time to talk to costumers. The knew all about what in store of the restaurant and services. I highly recommend this place.

The comments about the owner are fair, although she is very professional and nice at times. The reason I stayed after an initial incident was because of the extremely professional older gentleman waiting our table. And we came back for the food as well as his service. Food is very fresh, I recommend the off-menu items as well as the cheese selection.

We had a good meal, but a few items fell short of expectations. Lamb dish was well executed. Zucchini flowers looked great, but had too much ricotta which overpowered the whole dish, it was simply too much cheese without much depth in flavor. Tartare lacked some seasoning. Cute remote restaurant in the outskirts of Bellagio: While it is highly recommended to reserve in advance, not only the outside seating is cosy (right next to a small harbour), but also inside, under the arches of the old waterfront, it is beautiful to dine. Very friendly staff and very well arranged dishes beside excellent wines are the basis for a great dining experience. The only but not that unimportant miss, are the rather mediocre tastes of a couple of dishes (spaghetti di gragnano, filetto di vitello farcito), what a real pity. Italy has just too many delicious restaurants with 5 stars to miss them going to 4 stars.

Despite giving ample notice, we were charged a shocking €100 no-show fee for two people! This policy is incredibly inflexible and predatory. Save yourself the stress and potential financial hit. There are plenty of other fantastic restaurants nearby that understand life happens and offer much more flexibility.

We arrived at the restaurant when it opened at 7.00 pm, the first people were seated in the shade and when it was our turn, the waiter offered us a table in the sun. We ask him nicely if it's possible to have a table in the shade as we have a 2-year-old boy and it's a very hot day. He checked and replied that no, the baby chair would only fit on this table (no baby chair was already installed). We told him that last year we'd already been there and were sitting in the shade with our baby on another table. At this point, the owner arrives very aggressively and tells us that there is only this table for us. The terrace is almost empty and there are plenty of tables in the shade. We tell her that this is a very aggressive way of talking to us and that it's not at all kind of her. She tells us it's her restaurant, she can do what she likes, and that we're not welcome here in any case. This table or nothing. We were shocked by her behavior, the way we were received, we had mentioned in the reservation that we would be with a small child and she dared to say that we had not... One of the waiters confirmed that we had indeed mentioned a baby. The owner is execrable and insanely aggressive. This restaurant doesn't like tourists or children. We don’t recommend it! There are plenty of other nice, good and very friendly restaurants around. Don’t waist your money there if you want a great experience. Ps: I added photos of last year.
