Se cercate il lusso non è il posto per voi, piccola osteria con pochissimi posti a sedere (prenotazione obbligatoria) il cibo è tutto a km0 nel vero senso della parola, gli animali sono allevati nella stessa azienda e macellati li, qualità super di tutto! Praticamente i proprietari mangiano, e alla "aggiungi un posto a tavola" mangi anche tu. Super consigliato!! Polenta Uncia unica!
Delicious Comacina, Lake Como, and Lombardy mountain cuisine; most of the ingredients, if not their own, are locally sourced. The €25 menu, however, includes the essentials, without detracting from the rest, which we'll be sampling. The atmosphere is informal—I'd even say friendly and playful—a great experience. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited.
A small restaurant that hasn't changed over time. And that's a good thing. Excellent food and wonderful owners.
Recommendation 👍🏼 These are the places I like and I'd like to please people. The atmosphere is like being at home, eating polenta, cheeses, cured meats, homemade cakes, and coffee made in a moka pot. All this surpasses all those little restaurants these days that just want to be cool and trendy. Very good food ❤️
Excellent family-run place with an adjoining farm with stables and grazing cows... Traditional local cuisine, cooked to perfection and well-prepared... reasonable prices... I will gladly return.
We have known this tavern for years and every now and then we go there, always finding genuine, good food and a lot of friendliness. You have to book because it is small and does not have many seats, the prices are fair considering quality, quantity and genuineness. I think it is the restaurant where you eat the best polenta uncia that I have ever tasted, it is spectacular, it sails in two fingers of melted butter.
A small, welcoming, and very quaint osteria! The food is excellent and plentiful! You can taste the flavors of home in the dishes; I love these familiar environments! The owner welcomed us with laughter and politeness. I mentioned my garlic allergy, and I finally managed to have the same dishes as everyone else, without the added garlic! They weren't prepared especially for me, but the menu was already divided into dishes with and without garlic. So I didn't have to struggle to figure out which ones were suitable for me. We left with full bellies, still smiling and laughing! Finally, we went to visit their cows, just steps away; we had to meet their cow, who fed us some delicious cheese! In short, I recommend everyone to stop by here to enjoy the beautiful lake view, fresh air, good food, nature, and a laugh with the owner! I'll definitely be back! I recommend booking.
I was a very nice lunch we had in this rustic restaurant. Food was great and everything is very fresh. Do not expect fine dining here you eat like the farmers and local families have eaten in the past. Nice way to discover local food all produced by the owner, including fabulous desserts.
Returning to this quaint family-run agriturismo after 10 years, I rediscovered the flavors of yesteryear, and if that's possible, they were even better and more authentic. The few dishes (thankfully) are all of excellent artisanal quality. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Polenta, as always, is the highlight, along with exceptional cured meats and cheeses. Superb value! I highly recommend a visit!
After a stroll around the Madonna del Ghisallo, we were looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon this rustic Osteria. We had lunch with a plate of cured meats and pizzoccheri, which were delicious. We also tried zabaglione and cake, which reminded me so much of the flavorless ones from when I was a child. There were cows grazing and a priceless peace. It's a small place, but definitely worth considering for another visit, or maybe even two. Recommended, but best to book because there are limited seats. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of what we ate because my phone was out of power.
The polenta uncia is amazing: the difference lies in the freshest ingredients, especially their cheese, which you can also try with the appetizers. Choose from a few dishes prepared according to tradition and served in a welcoming, family atmosphere. Try it to discover some of the rarest delicacies of Lombardy cuisine!
Simple, affordable, but very, very good! Traditional cuisine in a timeless setting. If you want to spend a few hours in total serenity without all the formalities, this is the ideal place. I hope I'll stop by in the summer so I can eat outside... who knows! Anyway, it's fine by me 👌🏻
A motorcycle ride, taking advantage of what turned out to be the last warm weekend of October. We didn't book (a lot of people showed up), but we were warmly welcomed at an outdoor table overlooking the grazing cows. The location and building are "ancient," and the food and service were good for €20.
If you're looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant, this isn't for you. The place is very quaint, with an old-fashioned feel, like your grandparents' house from days gone by, and that's what gives it that extra charm, in my opinion. Excellent food, the pizzoccheri (reservations required) are truly delicious, in addition to everything else. The price is fair, considering you leave with a full stomach. Recommended.
