Seaweed Steaks, Seafood & Sushi

Awesome local spot, off the beaten path. Our party of four really enjoyed their meals. I had the sushi, which while expensive (sushi tends to be), is highly recommended. My wife had the filet, and the other two enjoyed lobster tails. Delicious! Definitely check it out if you are in the Indian Rocks Beach or neighboring city area.

Beautiful restaurant perfectly located near Indian Rocks beach. Upon walking in with no reservation, one of the waitresses, Brigid started a random covers with us at the check in desk. Thats when we asked to be in her section. Brigid was nothing short of amazing! Happy hour is all day, every day…. That part! All the food was amazing. I tried the Black pearl chicken, jumbo grilled wings, Firecracker shrimp and decided on the Salad of the Sea for dinner. Great experience I’m thinking Brigid greatly contributed to that. She was attentive, gave great recommendations and just all around was amazing!!

1st time to Seaweed, it is a quant relaxing atmosphere and like most places, there are probably some things they could do better like the calamari. I would not suggest that or the grilled oysters, which I'm assuming should be a bit more like a New Orleans style cooked oyster and they're just not nailing it. Other than that everything else was fantastic. We had the Hogfish, Sea Bass (Appetizer), Chilean sea bass, Raw oysters( hand shucked and it's makes a difference since you keep the natural salt water in the oyster) and the Key lime pie is fantastic, they do it right! Great diversity in the menu and the staff was wonderful, especially the manager she was engaging and willing to hear feedback. My family and I will definitely be going back there again (at least monthly). They have a wonderful daily drink special which is a great deal. Price point at this restaurant I think is extremely fair, especially for the freshness, preparation and diversity. I can't wait to go back and will be sending all my friends and family there! I want to try everything and will continue to post each visit.

Overall it was pleasant. The grouper was cooked to perfection, could have used a bit more red pepper marscapone. The yakisoba noodles we lack luster. I thought it would have more flavor. The sushi roll my husband ordered was amazing. The service is great. I also ordered the elderflower white cosmo drink which was a wonderful blend of floral citrus and not too sweet. The calamari was so fresh and delicious! We would come back.

One of the best restaurants in town. Just love this place. Ripqah served us she is awesome timely and courteous very knowledgeable about the menu. Great drinks food menu well thought out and tasty.

We found this restaurant on a whim driving by while we were in town for my bachelorette party and I am still daydreaming over the triple tuna roll and the cucumber cocktail I had! This was such a lovely spot, the food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the service was great! The manager came over to our table and was warm, kind, and funny! At the end of the night a congratulatory key lime pie slice came to the table as a gift! Do not skip this restaurant if you have the opportunity to go!

Came here after the storm for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! This is definitely the best sushi spot in Pinellas County! Very fresh food! The managers Chris and Adrian came up to our table to make sure we were all good and that we liked the food. Will absolutely be returning here soon! Great food and great service! Thanks again!

This is a great place to dine and converse. Food is top-notch, lots of great selections for sharing, indoor/outdoor seating options, full bar and happy hour options are just some highlights. The service is very friendly and attentive. A favorite of my daughter and I. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in the area. I highly recommend, and will definitely return.

Fresh like they were whispering secrets from the sea straight into my mouth. Absolute bliss. BUT THEN CAME THE SOUP. I don’t know what crime against cuisine I witnessed in that bowl, but it tasted like someone tried to boil regret and served it lukewarm. One spoon and my taste buds filed a restraining order. 😔 Still giving 5 stars because the rest was divine... but please, someone check on that soup. It needs therapy.

Delicious food, in very generous portions for a surprisingly good price. Our waiter Christopher was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable about the menu so I could eat safely as a Gluten Free diner. We had a reservation for 7 on a Sunday & it was packed! Standouts were the oysters, pork chop, & chocolate cake.

A really great place for dinner! It isn't on the beach, but close enough to get full on food. Give a 4, only because the entry wasn't good enough to remember what I had a month later, but I remember what drink I had and the black chicken nugget appetizer with gold sparkles on it.

First time at the place for a pre birthday celebration dinner. Food was good service was good. The specials all day was in point. I will be coming back. Highly recommend

We celebrate my 51st birthday for dinner here for the first time. We were so impress, we decide to come for lunch the next day. The manager was so great, greeting with love. Great foods, drinks and dessert, especially, a must in the key lime pie. I’m not much of a key lime dessert but their version had the perfect balance of tartiness and sweetness. Prices was very reasonable and affordable. If your staying in Clearwater beach, it’s less then 10 min to get there. You will not regret checking it out!! We will come again the next time we are in town.

Wow have I got a recommendation for you! If you like oysters, if you like seafood, if you like sushi, this is bar-none the best restaurant I have been to In ages!! The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and comfortable. Lots of bar space to sit and drink or eat. Tables are arranged beautifully and the decor is so comfortable. I understand why this restaurant is packed at 4:00 in the afternoon! Was so in love with the food, did not take pictures of my food, however, I will next time and very soon. I have over 2 million views and I want to say this is the best restaurant I have been to in ages! UPDATE: needless to say I've been here several times and last night was a treat as we also had stone crab as well fun fun I can't get enough of this place!

Great place to drink and eat. They have a small outdoor bar 🍸 when its not too hot out its a good spot to sit or step inside to a large indoor bar and a small separate sushi bar too. There are also high top tables by the bar. See the hostess for tables and booths not in the bar, if that's the route you want to take. I'd make reservations for that, but sometimes you get lucky walking in. Parking lot can fill up during dinner time but there is adjacent parking in the shopping next door. Good happy hour menu of sushi rolls and small bites [tuna teaser, firecracker shrimp, chicken skewers, cauliflower], bogo on a select few drinks, and a few other things I'm probably forgetting. Bar is lively and people are friendly and will talk to you. Great place for a nice dinner or drinks and snacks at the bar.

At dinner here tonight and can’t recommend enough the amazing food. The snapper wings were delicious. The oysters with manchego and fresh were great. We also loved the brussel sprouts but would recommend a balsamic glaze extra on top or the side. The bacon was good paired with the other items we ordered. Drinks were great and now we are in a food coma, happily:-) thanks to the French waitress who was on her game and the manager who stopped to chat. We will be back as locals.

This restaurant is a great reflection of Tampa culture. The generous portions of food taste great and is reasonably priced. Ask for the server Lukas when visiting because he is quick and our order was accurate and made our party feel special. I cannot wait to visit again.

Everything was amazing! This was our first time here and Lucas took great care of us. He had awesome recommendations and I truly don’t think you could go wrong. The coconut shrimp is 1000/10!!! Also, probably some of the best drinks around for taste & cost.

Ate at the bar. And ordered from both happy hour and dinner menu. Everything was great. Foods were tasty and the drinks were strong. I liked the baystar bowl very much. Highly recommend. The fire craker shrimp was perfectly fried with delicate breading. A good spot to have a casual meal.

Staff were very friendly with excellent service. Food came out delicious and cooked to perfection. Chelley is a phenomenal manager, she made us feel so important and Rifqah is an amazing server. We will be coming back!

First time visit. Great atmosphere, great food, fantastic service. We had very young children and staff was very accommodating. Steak excellent, coconut shrimp was excellent. Several at our table had hush including Snapper wings which is a portion of the snapper just past the gills. Sarah our server was super and manager was so personable and wonderful

We had a drink and apps at a bar with Brigid before our meal. She was so wonderfully pleasant and accommodating we chose not to move to the dining room. I haven’t even eaten yet and I feel compelled to give Bridget the kudos and accolades she deserves.

Seaweed never disappoints us. We had 6 attend and the food was fantastic the fresh Hogfish, Sushi, appetizers, and dessert everything was excellent. Our server Bridgette is the best in class. Her attention to detail and always willing to help and customize meals is outstanding!!! We are always coming back here and enjoy it all.

Lucas was our waiter today and he did an excellent job. We came specifically for the VA oysters, and they were absolutely delicious! I enjoy my raw oysters with wasabi and soy sauce, and they were perfect. We also ordered a rainbow roll ( alittle small) the early bird steak dinner with shrimp cocktail, and lobster bisque—everything was outstanding. The cocktails (Old Fashioned, Lemon Drop, and Margarita) were spot-on as well. Thank you, Lucas, for the great service and making our visit so enjoyable!

Excellent place to spend the evening. Food is great; the schucker Willy is the best schuker in Florida. Ask to sit at Bridget's table she make you feel like family. She is fun, super nice and provides great service.

Yum! This restaurant is where my husband likes to go every year for his birthday and it never disappoints. The food and drinks are amazing! They do a fabulous job with decorating at Christmas time, as well. If you're looking for a nice upscale restaurant to treat your significant other or visiting guests, this should be the place to take them!

Hands down one of my favorite places to dine. Great atmosphere and top notched food paired with wonderful customer service. The manager Adrian has made sure each visit exceeds my expectations and last time recommended for me to try their Volcano Roll and Florida Roll. Must say my taste buds were blown away!

Our server Lucas was amazing. He was very attentive and nice. The wait for food was taking longer than usual (we didn’t even notice) but he was very reassuring and offered us a salad & soup for our long wait. Highly recommend seaweed as it is one of my favorite restaurants. Request Lucas for an even better experience 😊

Change it last minute we were able to find this incredibly tasteful and delicious spot called seaweed and we had a wonderful evening with Our server Lucas! Not only was he attentive and aware of the menu he doted us with special care and Made sure we felt like we’re the only ones in the restaurant. Thank you so much Lucas for a wonderful night tonight. Was it fresh, quality and delicious? Yes! Was this roll worth $27? No. For $27 I was expecting the roll to be a little bit bigger. I'll try out their happy hour sometime. The staff was nice and the atmosphere is good.

Dined here on a Tuesday night for the 3 course special advertised from Sunday-Wednesday. We were a little disappointed as we wanted seafood and the menu/website stated that the special included the “catch of the day” which was grouper or snapper. The server told us that the catch of the day was in fact not included. The choice of fish was mahi mahi only (previously frozen). So instead we settled for the bacon wrapped tenderloin. It was very small, but tasty. The key lime pie was good as well, but micro sliced. Overall the food was good, but small proportions and the fish not as advertised.

We really enjoyed the entrees , the only one that wasn't great was the pork chop , but they replaced it with the filet & that was fabulous , they just overcooked the pork chop. The Lobster & shrimp soup was delicious, & the salad is very tasty. Key lime pie for dessert was the perfect ending. The blueberry martini just amazing.

We came here on Easter for lunch, and they served the dinner menu. I made us reservations on open table and we were sat right away. We started with oysters and lobster bisque. Oysters were decent, but the lobster bisque was meh, way too salty for me. For lunch, I had sushi and my husband had the seafood linguine. Both were very good. We also got a side of the cauliflower which was so good, we even got a side to go. Our service was great as well. Food came on time and she didn't bring everything out at once which I hate. I always judge a restaurant on their bathrooms as well to see how clean and attentive they are. Their bathrooms were really nice LOL and clean! I noticed they have a great outdoor seating area with an outside bar. Usually, this spot is only open for dinner, so we will definitely be back some time.

Hello. The wife and I went for out for our anniversary, we wanted something a little nice but nothing uptight, we chose here. They have a little of everything, again we wanted something a little nice but chill. In short it was alright, for the prices I’d expect a little more, in quantity and or not necessarily quality of food but preparation. Things just seemed to miss the mark of expectation. Food: We ordered a few rolls, octopus, filet sliders, stuffed mahi and yakisoba with salmon. The rolls were in my opinion lack luster, my wife had no problem with them. Though for me, the price we paid I expected something a tad more in their delivery, but what we got, in my opinion was something you’d get at an AYCE. The octopus was tender and well prepared but the quantity was more of a bar bite, barely an appetizer especially for the price. Sliders were just ok as well as the mahi. The yakisoba was alright, in line with hibachi quality. Atmosphere: Very nice ambiance, romantic, slightly classy, yet chill. Service: Great, yet I did notice some of their staff with ear phones in their ear. It didn’t impede in their service but in regards to professionalism, in my opinion it shouldn’t be a thing for the front staff. Our rolls took a while, we ordered 2. The server did update us like 30 minutes in saying the sushi bar was behind, which was thoughtful. But there were plenty of empty seats in the house, so 40 min or so for our rolls was kind of a let down. Price: Not too bad considering the area, but as I stated above, I expected a bit more in quantity and or quality of delivery. I’d go back if someone invited me, but it wouldn’t be my first choice if it were up to me.

Cool place. The cuisine is semi consistent. We're guessing it depends who the chef on duty is. Great happy hour. But for 2 people an average bill will be over $100.

Don’t trust the photos in the menu. We ordered a burger cooked medium and the snapper piccata plus a side Caesar. When asked if I wanted to replace the normal side with the Caesar, I specifically told them I wanted the normal snapper side PLUS the Caesar. Below are pictures from their website compared to pictures of what I unpacked when I got home. The burger bun fell apart from being so greasy. I called to ask about the missing side and the young lady at the front desk put me on hold to check with the manager. She came back and said that the manager said I should have been more specific and “next time” I should make sure they know I want both the rice and a salad. Apparently it was my fault even though I DID specify that’s what I wanted. They don’t have to worry about “next time” from us. We’re local and have plenty of other options. The manager had the chance to fix it by simply telling me I could come back for the rice.

Food was horrible! I ordered the twin filet mignon wrapped in bacon- medium well.. it was burnt to the point that you could not cut through it and even the manager on staff that night said it looked bad. I was hungry- so I said let me try the sushi. I placed the order and it was back to me in under 5 minutes. It didn’t taste or smell fresh! We came here for our son 16th birthday.. First time here, will never come back. They try to be high end by making you have reservations… This place is 100% the worse place I’ve ever been!!!

We tried the Coconut Shrimp at every stop, and this was by far the worst. The shrimp lacked proper texture and tasted dark, old, dry, and extremely hard to chew—way worse than any others we had. The Kung Pao Calamari and Firecracker Shrimp were also overly sautéed and overcooked. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items, but overall the food quality was disturbingly poor. We will not return.
