Fountain Grille Restaurant

Def 5 star! We have lived in Safety Harbor for almost 8 years. We have spent lots of time at the Tiki Bar at the Resort and spa, but never tried the restaurant at the hotel. What a great surprise! My husband is no frills and got a steak burger which he said was delicious! I got the Cesar salad (very light and refreshing) and the fish Piccata which came with grouper but I substituted salmon. It was also Delicious! Not too much sauce, huge piece of salmon with basmati rice and asparagus. The service was perfect! Let’s not forget to mention that the bread was insane!!! And prices were great! We sat right out front. Able to people watch and enjoy the water fountain. Our new favorite spot!

Eddy was amazing! I had the honor of getting him as a server twice during my stay and each time was more than pleasant! By far the best service I had had at this restaurant, even though I must say every server has been friendly and accommodating. Eddy goes above and beyond to give you the service and experience you deserve. I was extremely shocked with how far he went to make the perfect Bloody Mary for me on my mother daughter day. This little gesture went the extra mile for outstanding service and memory.

Good menu and they also have a kids menu. The yummy complimentary bread and butter is a nice bonus. Fair prices and filling portions. Lovely atmosphere and a friendly and helpful staff. Vegan options. One of my favorite places.

Everything was perfect. The day, the food, the service and most importantly the bread (which I ate way too much of, and didn't even feel bad about eating it) LOL. The salad was fresh and good. Not too much dressing, but not dry either. It was perfect. I ordered linguini garden pasta Primavera and it was very good!!! The veggies were cooked to absolute perfection, and the sauce was light and flavorful. My 3 friends had the Salmon Athena. I had a decent amount of it and it was amazing. I will definitely order that next time! The chef definitely knows how stuff! My friend wanted a sauce for her fish. The chef stated that he wouldn't use any sauce, but provided one that he felt would pair well and she loved it! I'm going back VERY SOON!

While attending a board meeting for the week it was really nice to have a great place for breakfast and great coffee. The food is very good and the service is great. Very nice folks. I wish I had taken more pictures sorry. But still it’s a cool cafe in the morning. Enjoy 😉

After a great morning at the spa, enjoying all the amenities, we stopped by for some lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and came in healthy sized portions (enough to take home for dinner). We will be back!

My friend just celebrated her birthday here and I was unable to attend so I called to arrange for chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to be delivered to her. Fernando went above and beyond with everything. I've done things like this before with other resorts/restaurants and I've never had such a great and personable experience as I did here. Fernando was extremely knowledgeable with the menu and creative with ideas of what I should order. He kept in touch with me to make sure it was delivered to the correct person at the exact time I wanted and he also planned ahead to make sure he didn't deliver it while it was raining so it wouldn't ruin the experience. He also wrote out a personalized card for me and she was so elated with the entire thing! Everyone enjoyed the delicious treats and had a wonderful time here. I will definitely make a trip to come here now with the wonderful experience I had over the phone. Thank you Fernando!!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in downtown Safety Harbor. The food is outstanding and the service is wonderful. They really know how to take care of you here. And they have specials all the time so be sure to check the dinner specials for the night you go. I especially also love their breakfast and brunch menus.

A beautiful gem in the heart of safety harbor. We dined outside by the fountain. Our lovely waitress (Peggy?) Did an amazing job serving us. We were going to the Herb Alpert show and she used to work for him in California! She did an amazing job and the food was very good!!

This is a great local spot to visit. Really good food, reasonably priced & a beautiful area to sit outside by the fountain with the bay breeze. It is gorgeous in the courtyard. Calm and a great spot to enjoy great food. Staff was very friendly as well. Totally recommend

Drove an hour for a first visit here last night for a nice & quiet dinner. Surprisingly too quiet for a Saturday night with only a few tables. Toni took good care of us which our 4-star service rating reflects. They have an interestingly good value Daily Specials Menu which we were already planning to return for. We opted for the Surf n Turf special which apart from the Beef Tenderloins although ordered medium rare came a bit chewy, the Coconut/Grilled Shrimps, creamy mashed potatoes & grilled zucchini were quite tasty. Also ordered the Grouper dinner which although was MP we called in that morning and which dinner price was verified & confirmed by Rosemary. When the bill came, saw the Grouper dinner price was more than was relayed that morning & explained so with our server, Toni who kindly got her supervisor, Jamie Lee who at first seemed understanding insisted that Rosemary is simply the hostess and that "...we are liable for the bill and stated that "dine & dash" is a felony in the state of FL..." His attitude completely uncalled for & unnecessary ruined our dining experience. A moment later another supervisor, Sharlene came over & rectified the situation by honoring the price relayed that morning. And while Sharlene & Toni apologized for the misunderstanding, super rude supervisor Jamie Lee did not bother at all. We have worked in the hospitality industry for decades, it is shocking that with his rude demeanor & attitude, Mr. Lee holds a customer-facing position at all.

We had a nice girls luncheon. Our water was entertaining and efficient. He didn’t ask us if we wanted dessert. I was disappointed in the scallop dish. It was described deliciously but looked scant. On a bed of was a thin sauce I could barely scrap up to get on the scallops. The scallops were very tiny for the price. It did taste good but not worth the price. So sad. Won’t order that again. I’ll stick to my salads and hambergers when eating there.

Ordered 2 Prime rib dinners which were so thin, and green beans were brown and shriveled. Substituted mashed for rice on one order. Plate came with rice and mashed potatoes 😳. Green beans came much later and were actually green and fresh. Ordered (2) Asian sea bass dinners which came overcooked with Asian sauce poured over top instead of glazed. Mixed veggies had flavor but poor prescription. We scraped and stacked our plates to make room for our dessert. The leftovers were boxed up, but not for us or the dog to eat..🦝🦝🦝 Very disappointed ☹️ on this visit. I overheard a spa guest ask how she could get her meat cooked to the right temperature. She said this was her 3rd dinner and everytime it has been over/under cooked.
