THE SOD FARM

The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly from the moment we arrived. The drinks were expertly crafted and full of flavor. Our food arrived promptly and was perfectly paced, thanks to Adam, who was attentive and professional throughout the evening. The braised pork belly had a pleasant hint of heat and was absolutely delicious. The escargot à la Bourguignonne was a unique take and surprisingly delightful. The black grouper special was excellent, and the 6oz Linz Choice filet was cooked perfectly—tender and full of flavor. We finished with the salted caramel cheesecake and a latte, which were the perfect ending to a great meal. And a special note—Alex was charming and delightful, so feel free to ignore the “Karen” comments about him. We had a wonderful experience all around.

My partner and I went to their Christmas dinner family style meal last night. It was a prefixed menu of Yorkshire pudding, winter salad, three kinds of meat with four sides, plus three desserts! For $95 each, I felt like we got our money’s worth. I certainly couldn’t have made that meal for that price. We sat close to the open kitchen, which was beautiful like the rest of the decor. Kendall our waitress was attentive and offered great drink suggestions. Really all the staff was friendly from the hostesses on. We took home three boxes of leftovers so it really feels like Christmas to get to eat this well for another few meals. I can say we aren’t big meat eaters but the porchetta was out of this world good. Prime rib was also fantastic but I felt the sides were shining stars. Just really unique uses of seasonal ingredients! 10/10 to the cooks. We’ll be back for another special occasion as soon as we can.

This was a really special experience. The food, place, people, service was all more than 5 star. I honestly loved every part form the mouth watering steak to the service provided and the suggestion to try some of their red wine, which was so smooth. The environment was beautifully laid out and the people that invited us were just spectacular and wonderful with everything they are doing. I love this place and the people here. Fantastic. Please add this to your travel journey and if you live anywhere in Tampa Bay add this to your list if places to enjoy with some friends.

One of the premiere and quality variation menu restaurants inside of the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin. The wife and I had brunch with server Sidney serving up perfection at every turn. If you want a fine dining restaurant and are looking for the perfect steak in the area, HEW Parlor and Chophouse won't disappoint! Oh and the cocktails are fantastic also! Heading to the roof for more!

Came here for a date night with my wife. We were initially just having a drink at the rooftop bar, but the restaurant was so inviting we decided to stay for dinner. And we’re very glad we did! The restaurant is beautiful, the service was phenomenal from start to finish, and the menu was filled with so many delicious-sounding things that we had a hard time deciding what to get. Wine bottles were reasonably priced as well, and the selection was large without being overwhelming. While I thoroughly enjoyed my elk, my wife’s snapper was absolutely incredible. Five stars all the way and worth the price.

Went for dinner and the harp music. Very nice staff, jade was an excellent waitress. Bummer is that you have to valet, even though it’s free, you still feel obligated to tip. The food was delicious. It’s expensive so good for special occasions.

Hands down one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had! We celebrated my birthday at HEW Parlor & Chophouse, and from start to finish, it was absolute magic. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed—such a refreshing break from the hustle of Tampa or Clearwater Beach dining. No traffic, no chaos—just pure enjoyment. The food? Divine. Every bite, from the appetizers to the entrées, was crafted to perfection. The flavors were bold, the presentation was stunning, and everything tasted as good as it looked. But the real star of the evening was Leslie. Her professionalism, warmth, and creativity brought the night to life. She didn’t just prepare a meal—she created an experience. From her attention to detail to the beautiful birthday surprise, she made us feel truly celebrated. The entire staff—from the waiters to the kitchen team—was outstanding. Every interaction was thoughtful and seamless. My honey and I left with full hearts and full bellies, already planning our return. We’ll be bringing friends and family back with us—especially for Leslie! HEW, thank you for making my birthday unforgettable. We’ll be back again and again.

OMG I cannot say enough how amazing the food and experience was at Hew Parlor & Chophouse was! Jade was so knowledgeable and sweetie and food was top notch!! Gator Soup, dry aged bone in NY strip, Delmonico and all the fixings! This will be added to my date night list!!

For our first time dining here, it was overall a very good experience. Our server was very kind and explained things to us thoroughly. We were dining with a family member who had certain dietary restrictions, and our server was very helpful with this. Three of the five of us in our party enjoyed the sea bass special and cleared our plates completely! Their ice cream was to die for as well!! We will certainly be back :)

I had the pleasure of getting Jade as my server twice. She is the best waitress I’ve ever had. She explained the menu very well. She asked me about my likes and dislikes and then recommended my meals based on that. And she always anticipated my needs. The food was excellent, but the service stole the show. If a manager from the Fenway Hotel reads this, give Jade a raise!

Had a lovely brunch for Labor Day weekend and was impressed with the food. They have gluten free options and portion sizes were larger than expected. Service was exceptional. Emely was so wonderful. She was kind, attentive and made our experience special. The ambience is nice and upscale. Can’t wait to return!

What a nice place! People were very friendly, everyone wore masks, it was clean and welcoming! Food at the restaurant was very good, Tomahawk steak was our favorite, perfectly cooked and presented! Flat bread and meatballs as appetizers were also delicious!! Boys enjoyed Old Fashion cocktails, my girlfriend and I really liked MC Queen cocktail. Also, there is a rooftop bar on the 3rd floor, we had drinks and watched sunset after. Perfect night 👌🏻

Wow! What an amazing dinner and experience! The food was awesome- but what made it so special was our server Jade. She was so knowledgeable, kind- and the perfect balance of attentiveness without making us feel rushed whatsoever. My husband and I enjoyed brunch here for my birthday. The 1927 salad was an amazing starter and then we delighted in the Delmonico. The sauce for the steak was so good I could have eaten it by the spoonful! For dessert, we celebrated with the beignets, which may have beat the ones we had at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. The service was incredible, and we look forward to joining them again on a special occasion.

The rooftop bar is great, nice mocktail mojitos and view. The chophouse had a very surprising awesome dish called the “seafood beignets” - w.t.h. Not expecting the increíble flavor of them. It’s a great place to just go and hang out for a date night or with friends. 🫶

I love the feel this restaurant has. Feels like the 30s from the decor to the names of the cocktails. We had the BEST biscuits, butter and honey ever!! Our other appetizer was the delicious and creamy shrimp and polenta. The beet salad was too pretty to eat and super tasty 😋. I also enjoyed the crab soup. By the time the main dish came we were totally full but had a bite and enjoyed it the next day for lunch. The tomahawk steak for 2 was perfectly cooked and it was my first time eating pork schnitzel and I was thoroughly impressed. We also loved all the side dishes like: broccolini, Hassleback potatoes and mixed grain salad.

Fantastic breakfast in a lovely atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt. My husband had a "basic" scrambled eggs breakfast with a biscuit and bacon, which he said was quite tasty. I had the French breakfast (pictured) and enjoyed it immensely! The sage cheese was gorgeous! Very pleased with our experience!

10/10 experience! Beautiful ambiance, great food, and excellent service. Jade was our server, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was top notch. They were also extremely accommodating when a shellfish allergy was mentioned. Easily one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area.

Inaugural Jazz Brunch was fantastic. The small chef plates put the buffets at the fanciest hotels to shame. We will definitely be back and will 100% recommend this brunch to all the foodies we know. The sax player walking around the dining room was just icing on the cake.

This is a not well known gem in the Bay Area. Great atmosphere and the food is amazing. Romantic setting for special occasions. So much history. You can’t beat the sunsets from the rooftop bar after dinner either!

Wife and I had an awesome experience at the Nutcracker Tea! I'm glad wife asked me to come. After starting off with champage, we had wonderful mint chamomile tea to go along with a great assortment of holiday treats, including a scone, tart, and other sweet goodies, as well as a sandwich and a ruben. Thanks to Robyn, who added a chicken option after wife requested a substitute for the tenderloin sandwich. Fantastic, attentive, friendly service. I wasn't sure if there was lipstick on my tea cup or if it was just poor lighting.. but the server immediately replaced the cup.. As an added benefit, there were pre-wedding pictures taken just outside of the restaurant. Very exciting. We can't wait to try out the upstairs bar! Thank you.

Every bite was better than the one before. There were 4 of us and we all ate off each other's plates, so many flavors. Our server was knowledgeable and good natured as we were high energy. Great evening! Today we returned for breakfast. I really wanted shrimp and grits, it wasn't on the new menu. That didn't stop the kitchen, best shrimp and grits ever! Love this place.

Came to HEW for Thanksgiving day dinner and it was truly wonderful. The food was amazing as was our server. Mostly everyone was so friendly and helpful. It wasn't a big deal... but, the only people who weren't very warm and welcoming were the 2 older ladies seating everyone, they also seemed a bit frazzled and overwhelmed... but, there was a gentleman (who I'm assuming was a manager) that came to the rescue! I went back up to the hostess stand after we were seated and one of the ladies was quite short with me and didn't even bother to ask what the issue was. But, I caught the gentleman on my way back to the table and he quickly inquired about the issue and solved the problem in a flash all with a smile. He was all over the place and so hands on. Kudos to the excellent management 👏 And again, hats off to the chef 🤌 so so good! Our server was also right on top of everything 👏 and the valet was fast and great as well. Thank you HEW for a superb Thanksgiving day experience! We will definitely visit again 😊

A group of Dunedin High School classmates (Falconistas) enjoyed a Mother's Day lunch the day before celebrating with our families... We had reservations for 8 and the staff automatically set up a private room for our group. We all ended up ordering the Shrimp and Grits with a side Beet Salad. The presentation and the flavor were absolutely wonderful. The Chef checked in with us and we all let her know how wonderful and delicious her creation was. Definitely recommended for your dining pleasure!

Are you kidding me? Why is this place not completely packed every night? We had the absolute pleasure of getting to meet Jade last night and is fabulous! She knew the menu, all of the names of the kitchen staff and made recommendations as she went through everything based on our feedback and questions. Espresso martini dark or light (add Bailey’s) was perfection. The fish and duck were cooked with skill and presentation was a 10. I felt like I was having a true Michelin experience. Thank you again to Jade who took excellent care of us. We will be back!

Wonderful establishment with outstanding service and absolutely delicious food. The Truffle French fries were fluffy and excellent, and the chicken thigh with its sauce was amazing. The New York Strip steak, cooked medium, was out of this world — perfectly charred and cooked to the ideal temperature. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible brunch at Hew with Sidney as our waitress. The portions were perfect and everything we ordered was fresh. I got a veggie omelette and a cafe au lait. Another standout was the jam that came with the toast. Sidney was very attentive and friendly, can’t wait to come back and try this place again. There were very few vegetarian options on the brunch menu and none on the dinner menu, so I won’t be back for dinner.

Service was immaculate. The care we received from the wait staff was impeccable. The food was glorious! So much The cooks sent the wait staff out to clarify their concerns on meat temperatures. That really shows the cooks know their products. Can't wait to come back.

Tonight’s dinner was incredible. We had the filet mignon served with the sweet pea potato salad, along with both a Caesar salad and a house salad. Everything was perfectly prepared and truly melted in our mouths. The caramel cheesecake was the perfect way to finish the meal—absolutely delicious, rich, and beautifully paired with a glass of vino. A flawless ending to an amazing dinner.

I had a perfect staycation weekend at The Fenway. Being a Platinum Elite Marriott Member I was giving a voucher to use towards breakfast. My breakfast was delicious and huge. My Server Sidney was excellent from start to finish. Sidney was super friendly and made sure my coffee stayed hot and refilled. Thank you Sidney for being amazing and I will definitely request your section next time I stay The Fenway.

An excellent experience overall. Shout out to the servers Sidney, Jamie, and Kendall. Quality service from everyone. The chefs, Ronnie and Dale, made beautifully presented and tasting dishes. Ate all three meals here, and would recommend any time of day for a visit.

This place is incredible! We dined for an early seating for dinner with a toddler. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was great! Probably the best steak tartare we’ve ever had! Everything was incredible and the menu has so many great options. Can’t wait to go back.

GREAT food and EXCEPTIONAL service!!! Each dish was uniquely crafted and our server Emily was very knowledgeable. The beef tartare was to die for! That truffle caramelized egg yolk was like a tear drop from heaven on top. The escargot melted in our mouths. The elk tenderloin was perfectly cooked MR. Emily answered each of our questions with fantastic detail, patience, and enthusiasm. It was an overall wonderful experience in the legendary Fenway.

The cheeseburger will change your life. The staff is amazing! We went there 3 days in a row. We met Peter, the chef, Leslie and Eva. They love their work- that says so much about the experience. Do not miss Hew if you're visiting the area.

We experienced and enjoyed a fine Valentine's dinner here just yesterday. We pulled up and ran into a line of cars for valet parking. However, the valet staff were organized and fast and got us taken care of in a few short minutes! I was impressed. It turns out there were two weddings as well as dinner guests and this valet staff was on it! Janessa greeted and seated us nicely and on time. Kaitlyn, our waitress, was gracious, knowledgeable and friendly. She really made the meal relaxed and special for us. Robin the manager checked on us and was very willing to help if needed. Our meal was well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. My lion's mane entree with romesco sauce was something I'd never had before and totally enjoyed! It had to be one of the best vegan entrees I've ever had so thank you to the chef and kitchen staff! Life is good with a unique memorable meal with my wonderful wife!

Decided to try the HEW Restaurant at Fenway in Dunedin. Big wedding in progress on the front lawn. Our reservations were for 6:30 in the evening. The hostess seated us right away and our waitress, Jessica, greeted us quickly! There were only four small parties in the dining room, so it was mostly empty. I remarked about this to Jessica and she said last night was a little busier. She took our drink 🍸 order and returned shortly, the drinks were very good! Dewars and soda & an Ameretto sour... Same thing with the appetizers, ordered and delivered with great efficiency! Pork belly wings, French onion soup, and the Parmesan Truffle fries. A Chartreutary Board and the Tuna Steak Special for our main course!! Again, everything was good... but not anything was truly Outstanding !! Well, the Service was Really Good!!! If you try this place, ask for "Jessica"!!! We will be back, not quickly, but we would try it again... Oh, before I leave..... I think our biggest disappointment was the two employees that carried an over flowing trash 🗑 can through the main dining room during dinner... that was disgusting!!!

I now understand why locals rate this overpriced restaurant as no more than average. Seated with a Mothers Day Brunch reservation waiting for service for TEN minutes awaiting a server. The menu was barely readable with its white print on white paper. Amuse Bouche was ONE NZ Mussel served with a GREASY Tempera sage leaf. Salad with fesh Hearts of Palm, White Asparagus, Srawberries, candied nuts and toasted Pepitas was worthy. Overcooked Cornish Game Hen, they did offer another one to go. The Bordelaise Sauce served w/Beef had not been reduced which tasted nothing but alcohol. The Beef was a perfect Mid Rare. Bread was no more than average. Cornbread had NO crust. So didsapointed with the food, I didn't even bother with dessert. Certainly not worth the price!

We dined in the restaurant since we were staying in the hotel. Our waitress was very good is the only compliment I can give. If you are looking for a romantic place to dine this is not the place. It's very loud and hectic. We had a party of 4 and we all ordered different entrees. The NY strip I ordered was a terrible cut, very grisly and had very little flavor. It did not help that they overcooked it. I would of said something if the waitress checked on us after the meals were served but she did not. My wife ordered the Filet which was just ok but again was overcooked. Our friends ordered the scallops and the lamb. The scallops were very flavorful and a decent portion. The lamb dish was not very good. The desserts were terrible! The creme brule was the worst we ever tried and the Cheese cake was even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant.

My Brothers dishes were great, my plate which was the pheasant wasn’t at all…it was extremely salty and dry so I stopped eating it. We all shared. About 1/3 is just cartilage and bone(which I thought was meat, but just stopped eating when I got that point), I had 1/3 and my brothers had 1/3. So I didn’t eat much it was about 4 oz of meat total. The manager Alexander came out and said that we ate the whole thing, which I wasn’t aware of because I thought the portion I left was all meat. He wasn’t at all apologetic or understanding, instead just went back and forth with us despite our genuine disapproval of the meal and how he handled the situation. Instead of hearing us out and doing what he could to end our night on a good note, he was very crass. It was very disappointing, that is the first time I ever seen or had an experience where the manager didn’t do his utmost to please the customer’s. It’s the service industry after all. It is not a good reflection or representation upon the restaurant and the hotel.

The steak was good quality. However just like the soup and side dishes, the chef dumped so much salt on everything, we could not eat it. We left hungry and angry. Wasted $300, horrible !

We had a very unfortunate experience with the manager ALEX and Hew Chophouse!! It's my first review and I felt it important to share!!! 6 of us ordered cocktails with 3 appetizers last night for dinner. When we went to order food, our wonderful server "K2" (her nickname) informed us that there was no "Trinity of the Sea" or "Pheasant" available so 4 of us ordered the 6 oz filet with multiple side à la carte. She later informed us they were also out of the 6 oz filet (at a steakhouse??) but for $63 we could order the 8 oz instead. We asked for them to charge the $46 for the 6 oz price since this is the 3rd item on the menus on a Friday night that was unavailable. Alex the manager walks over to our table and tells us that we need to pay the $63 each or leave the restaurant. Needless to say, his poor attitude and crass personality was enough for us to pay our drink and appetizer bill and leave HEW PARLOW. WOWZA! Owners need to reconsider his position. I have already informed my morning Panera group of 8 what happened and hope they tell 1000 more. DON'T GO TO HEW. Look at the other reviews, Alex is a problem!!! I will definitely share our story with as many people as I can. I have a doctorate degree and will tell many of my patients!
