Ella Coffee at M&Co

I've been to the Ella truck on multiple occasions and love it, so I wanted to be one of the first in line to try the new location. It did not disappoint. All of the staff were incredibly kind and warm. Everyone was eager to help with big smiles. The conversation is always great, almost like talking to an old friend. The flavors of the coffee were also perfect - creative and intriguing, done just right. Also got a ham and cheese slider and some cheeses and a baguette for later, which were similarly delicious. Highly recommend this coffee spot and getting some fine groceries while you're there!

It really does feel like you’re on a patio in Italy. The only thing missing is cigarette smoke. The coffees and breakfast sandwich were lovely.

My cousin and I visited Ella Coffee yesterday(Sunday) and it was a really great experience. She got the viral tiramisu latte, I chose the Hibiscus, Rose, and Pistachio latte, and together we ordered a cheese board. I really liked both drinks, but she ended up liking the HRP latte better. The cheese was also yummy. The only things I believe could be improved was the bread, it was extremely chewy and I had to take a break from eating it because my jaw was hurting and maybe they could add more fruit to the cheese board or a spicy jam. The atmosphere is a total vibe and so cozy. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They also have a huge variety of packaged goods. Special thanks and shoutout to Victoria, who was our cashier, for helping us with what was halal and being so kind and genuine. Overall, great experience and I will def be back to try the new drink menu they are launching this week!

We stopped by on our way to The Nutcracker Market yesterday. I had the Sienna iced coffee, my girlfriend had the Tova, iced as well, and we haven’t stopped thinking about them since. The atmosphere, the Italian market food (I was able to pick up some fishwife tuna and sardines), the friendly baristas, everything was perfect! If I could give 100 stars I would! We will be back!

Lovely cafe/grocery store with great indoor and patio seating. Patio is also dog friendly! Coffee tastes great and also good choices of wine + charcuterie boards

I came here with a friend while cafe hopping and got a iced hazelnut latte. Solid hazelnut coffee, not too sweet and strong coffee flavor. Very cute interior, a little small inside, but they have a outdoor seating area that’s really nice. They also have free parking, which is definitely a plus. Eventually came back to try the tiramisu latte & pistachio crossaint, and they were AMAZING. Highly recommend.

I am surprised that I haven’t rated this coffee shop yet. It’s a very cute and cozy. It’s stylish Cafe located around the W. University Pl. area. They allow pets in the patio area, which is super cute. It has a feel of a tiny tuck in European Cafe, and they have a huge selection of wines and drinks and bakery products, as well as several cheeses along with coffee and bakery items. We absolutely love coming here to grab a coffee, and I absolutely love their almond croissant. 🥐

Tried out this chic Houston cafe. Had a great cup of cappuccino that was both well-prepared with a thick, creamy foam on top, and was made with rich, flavorful coffee. The service was friendly and the shop was quiet and peaceful. There’s a patio in back with outside seating available, and several indoor tables as well.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This spot. I needed somewhere to study and a new friend mentioned this place to me. It had been a yr since he was here but still regarded it a worthy spot to visit. I reluctantly took him up on it and I am glad I did. I got there around 3:30 and it was buzzing. A good thing. The patio was tight as well was i side but I was able to spot and snag a table in the back. The hostess helped enhance my experience by choosing this awesome bread for me to put on my sandwich. Nope I dont remember the name. I just know it was yummy, haha. I also got a parfait that was also very good. The texture was perfect. I ate all my food before I could take a pic but next time. Ive already spread the word to the greatness of this spot. Ill be back.

Cute coffeeshop in a European style store The upscale interior features an bright open plan with seating on barstool style chairs. Their coffee is on the more bitter / burnt side but still very pleasant. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I wish there were some charge ports but it feels less of a study / work space.

What a gem! This place has such a cozy yet stylish vibe, perfect for grabbing coffee, enjoying a glass of wine, or indulging in their fresh sandwiches and charcuterie. I ordered a sandwich and it was amazing fresh ingredients, great flavor, and made with care. I also tried their blueberry drink, which was so refreshing and delicious perfectly balanced and not too sweet. 10/10 will definitely be coming back for more!

As soon as we entered we were nicely greeted by the staff. It is a very nice concept. Whoever created Ella’s coffee menu is truly an artist, definitely a place to go back. The ambiance is nice, they place music but its not that loud to make talking uncomfortable. The patio space is very cozy and peaceful. Next time I will for sure consider the parking in the back.

We enjoyed our coffee and treats from this beautiful shop! Just a heads up it’s very busy and on the smaller side in store so be prepared on the weekend. We got the Lizzie and the Steven and they were delicious. We also enjoyed the ham and cheese sandwich which was nice. The star for me was the pistachio croissant!

Popped in to get some work done on a Monday afternoon and loved it-- will definitely be back! Was quiet and peaceful, lots of space to sit outside with a relaxing fountain, good music, and strong wifi. Staff was incredibly warm and friendly, and my cookie was delicious!

Their lattes are exceptional. The rotating seasonal specials are always creative and delicious. I look forward to every season new specials. The pastries are also very good. Laura and her staff here are simply wonderful. They are approachable, patient and able to give great recommendations.

My partner Brian and I first discovered Ella Coffee during a really difficult chapter of our lives. After a two-month hospital stay, my friend surprised me with a “Lizzie” from Ella Coffee on the very day I was discharged. That coffee — topped with a delicate ladyfinger cookie and a dusting of cocoa — brightened my drab hospital room and felt like a little beacon of freedom and joy. It was such a treat I never would have ordered for myself, and it’s a memory I’ll never forget. Since then, Ella Coffee became our weekly ritual. After lab draws or stressful days, we’d stop in for their seasonal drinks or just to soak in the cozy, curated atmosphere. The staff (I believe the owner or manager) even surprised us by remembering our names. Once, when I asked for the Lizzie without the cookie topper, she looked horrified and asked, “But will Brian eat it?!” before tucking it into a bag for him. From then on, we joked about her being Brian’s Italian girlfriend — the kind of personal, lighthearted connection you don’t find everywhere. Ella Coffee will always hold a special place in our hearts. The drinks are delightful, the people are genuine, and the space is intentional and inviting. We’ll keep coming back right up until we move — and we’ll miss it dearly.

The girls at the counter were super sweet and helpful. We ordered the Lizzie tiramisu and the Bear, which is a banana pudding coffee drink. I like my coffee pretty balanced between sweet and strong so I ordered if half sweet but I honestly think I would’ve liked it even better if I would’ve gone with the full sweetness. Overall, we will be visiting again!

We paid $9 for it and honestly, tasted just like the one from UnCafe. The atmosphere was great. It seems like many people were there for their wines instead of the coffee.
