Soul Brew

Starting by walking in, I was introduced to a homey, comfortable looking coffee shop with friendly baristas. The entire interior is beautifully done with art, books, cool lights and couches. Menu was easy to understand and the latte I got was beyond excellent ( ahem! … better then Starbucks). Thank you soul brew for being the best coffee shop and my personal favorite.

First off this is where I get my favorite cup of coffee, and they have such amazing food!! I always look forward to coming and everyone that works here are absolute sweethearts. 10/10 would recommend. They have such a cool menu of drinks that are always changing for the season and holidays to always be able to try new things! It’s also a really comfy atmosphere if you wanna go hangout or even do computer work and be relaxed

Been on a kick of trying all the local coffee places near me and Soul Brew happened to be the next on the list. With a ton of options to choose from, including seasonal specials, I was nearly paralyzed by choice! For my first time I decided to opt for the old reliable of a dark roast drip, because I figure if you can't do your generic coffee right, I wouldn't expect you to do anything fancier correct. This was a delicious cup though, and I was glad I stopped by, definitely leaves me wanting to come back to try more, including some of their tasty sounding food options. Decor here is awesome, lending very much to the hipster/punk sort of aesthetic that you would find in the likes of Brooklyn or the PNW. There's a couple of tables and chairs to sit at, but not a ton of space. Staff was friendly and service was quick, no complaints to be had. Plenty of parking nearby, whether it's the attached lot or any of the municipal lots around as well, but do watch the signs as some of it is time limited if you plan to stay a long time.

so happy that I was finally able to check this place out! Not only is the staff so friendly and energetic but their latte menu is insane! The art that they have on the walls are beautiful, such a welcoming environment. I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I believe it was called “son of a biscuit “ and the manager Nubia came out to greet me and asked me about my experience! Would 100% recommend and will be back soon (:

LOVE LOVE SOUL BREW. You guys have the coolest interior , great customer service, and even better coffee and breakfast options. My husband and I come here almost every weekend and love the vibes!! I feel like it's our local central perk :) it is so adorable. The only thing I wish they would do is recycle all the plastic and paper cups :( it's so wasteful not to!! We can do better

We were planning to have brunch at the twisted fork but we didnt want to wait since we have a little one. We saw this spot down the block and went in right away. So glad we did!! We ordered jays egg quesadilla, bagelini, waffles with fresh fruit, and a Cinnabon hot latte! We finished everything and were stuffed! Everything was great at this hidden gem! Will definitely come back to try the other things on the menu!

Soul Brew Bellmore is great! It looks really nice inside and the food is amazing. The “Soul Burrito” is actually my favorite breakfast anywhere. It’s so good! My Dad orders the “Son of a Biscuit” which is also his favorite breakfast anywhere! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I’ll be back again soon!

The best. For a very small space, they have a pretty solid menu. I have a gluten allergy and I can always find something to order here. The staff are AMAZING and are an incredibly friendly. Very lucky to have this gem of a local coffee shop!

The coffee is great and the staff was even better! I accidentally knocked over my coffee while feeding my puppy his first puppuccino. The staff helped me clean and brought me out a new coffee. I so very much appreciate their kindness and will definitely be back!

And the coffee is always brewed to perfection – rich, flavorful, and exactly what you need to kickstart your morning. The service is always fantastic and friendly. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a fantastic start to your day. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to visit with your family, kids and loved ones. We were looking for something besides a diner for the new years day breakfast. Found this place and oh my oh my....amazing heart and healthy breakfast. My son is in love with the waffles there and wants to go there everyday now.... But really a nice and cozy place to visit and have breakfast and lunch....Def will try their lunch menu on the next visit....

I'm looking forward to returning if I can avoid the crowd, worth checking out, and apparently, they have a few more locations.

I loved this place. This was my first time here and the baristas were so nice and helpful, especially Zoey! It was a great atmosphere to do work in and dog friendly too which my puppy enjoyed!

Soul Brew is a fun little old school coffee shop. If you are looking for an alternative to starbucks, this is it. It's much more cozy inside and is great for a friend meet up or doing some solo work. I have have a couple work sessions here, but need to keep my headphones put so I can drown out convos and stay focused on work. I have ordered teas & coffee , all good.

Just left about an hour ago and I’ll probably be back every week! I was walking my little pup Winston when we stopped here for coffee. Staff was super nice and helpful, the coffee was great (med iced with half and half and the sugar free amaretto flavor), and they even had food! I got the breakfast burrito which was yummy, loved the little jalapeño kick. Atmosphere was cozy and looked really comfortable. We sat outside because Winston is a puppy and 95% potty trained lol, so we were thankful for the outdoor option. See you guys again soon!

Brought my daughter here for her first time. Our shared review starting from the parking lot: the lot is small and shared with other shops, street parking is available but fills up quickly. There are a few new Bistro tables and chairs out front on the sidewalk. These are a nice addition due to the shade on a very hot day. Walking through the front door is a burst of Cool! The place is full of hipster type stickers and mini Polaroid pics of people and pets. They always have customers either working a lap top or laughing and visiting with friends at the tables. The Atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming with plenty of Grateful type music overhead. My daughter gave the bathroom cleanliness a favorable nod. There were 2 Baristas behind the bar. Both were very friendly, answered questions we had, did not rush us and treated us professionally. I ordered my normal double shot espresso, daughter got a refresher and a slice of chocolate chip pound cake. Both of our drinks were delicious and hit the spot! When we were all done with our drinks I asked her how the cake was and she said “ they haven’t brought it out yet”. I went to the counter and the gentleman said he forgot and apologized. Other than this little hiccup everything was very good. They have a small selection of normal coffee house eats, the coffee is fantastic and the prices are fair. We will work this shop into our rotation. We recommend!

This is strictly a coffeehouse. Don’t expect much in terms of food. They have great drinks, muffins and snacks. The place has a very cool vibe.

Food is fresh and they always have great specials. However I will no longer be coming here as the last two times I've visited they've allowed dogs inside and this is a concern for me.

Coffee was delicious. Definitely a must try. Unfortunately we ordered two breakfast wraps to go. Even paid extra to “build them up” but when we arrived home both orders were incorrect and one wrap was missing the add-on that we were charged for. Tried reaching out and never heard back. Disappointed considering two wraps, a latte and a chai tea cost close to $45 dollars.

After many years as a go-to when I visit my mother nearby, I am giving up on this place. Despite its hippy motif it uses all plastics and disposables. Every muffin is encased in plastic. Staff are always nice and coffee is good.

Cute coffee shop. Local artwork. The food was delicious, but the drinks aren’t consistent. I guess it depends on the barista who makes it. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha one day and it was so good and then I ordered it again a couple of days later and it was really bad. The strawberries weren’t muddled and I could barely drink it with the straw. Also please use lint rollers to try to avoid pet hair getting near the drinks and food.

While the place is super cute and the workers were super nice, the food and coffee falls a bit short, especially for the price. 2 small flavored lattes and avacado toast(a decent portion) was $30. Personally, I think it’s a bit much. The coffee wasn’t anything crazy either.

Used to be a regular here and loved everything about this place. I was very excited to see that they had reopened. Finally went to try it out and the woman there was EXTREMELY RUDE. There was still a whole hour until closing time and they weren't busy at all, there were only two people sitting down drinking coffees. We were greeted very brusquely. When I finally POLITELY asked her a question about the syrup flavors, her response was a very blunt 'yeah' and she didn't even bother looking up at me. Her whole demeanor was standoffish and she didn't look at my face once or change her tone of voice. Not once did I give her any reason to disrespect me. I was friendly from the start and her attitude made me walk out empty handed. She didn't even GLANCE at me as I walked away, but I heard her greet the customer behind me. I am so disappointed that this cafe is now run by rude lazy people with horrible customer service tendencies. Go give your money to a cafe who actually appreciates your business. EDIT: Not sure how this behavior was "misconstrued". I know disrespect when I see it and I do not tolerate it. I understand we all have bad days and we get busy with other tasks at work, but I've worked in customer service for over 10 years and no matter what, disregarding a customer, avoiding eye contact, or not caring to elaborate on a question given by them is unprofessional. I've removed the profanity simply due to the fact that you acknowledged the situation, but none of us will be returning.

I used to love this place but in the past few months the service has been so bad. When they’re busy I don’t mind waiting for my drink but when there’s no line and I’m waiting five minutes to be greeted, let alone have my order taken, it’s irritating. I’m not sure if there are new baristas or something but most of the time when I come in, they just congregate in the corner and chat with each other or their friends who come in. I’m not saying I expect the fastest service, but if I’m the only person waiting and you’re just chatting and glancing at me every few seconds, now you’re just pissing me off. Again, no complaints when they’re busy, I understand why it takes 15-20 minutes. It’s just annoying when it’s EMPTY and I’m standing there, watching the baristas giggle and chat with their friends while I’m waiting to even place an order.

It was very odd that I was the only person of color in the establishment whose food order was never sent to the kitchen. The 3 people that order before me got their food and 2 people who ordered after me got their food. After waiting 20 minutes, I inquired about my order I was informed that my order was never submitted to the kitchen and it would be another 10 minutes to now make my order of avocado toast ( which is literally a few slices of avocado and barely toasted bread). Why would that take 10 minutes to make knowing I have already been waiting 20 minutes? So I have to be placed in the queue although they were the ones who “mistakenly” forgot to submit my order. Suffice to say I requested a refund and obviously will never return.

After looking at all these pictures of amazing looking Avo toast I decided to try it out. I ordered avocado toast with eggs and bacon. Upon receiving my order I looked down and new instantly this was not going to be good. The bacon was cheap bacon that you would get at Dunkin’ Donuts and clearly microwaved, the eggs were what appeared to be microwaved as well. I took my first bite and got a straight mouth full of salt. I thought maybe it was from the bacon so I tried a piece of bacon by itself at that was not it so I looked at the avocado and all I saw was it covered in salt. The table next to me sent back their food as well saying it was salty and the server brought it back to her saying the “chef” said they didn’t add salt! I couldn’t believe that they brought it back to her, I worked in a restaurant for years and I would never do that! At that point I knew it was just money lost and not worth sending back so I threw it out. The latte was also terrible it was like they added one drop of espresso into it. I don’t know what happened from the prior pictures to now but it is not the same

I’ve heard many great things about soul brew. When i first walked in, i was in complete shock on how the scenery was. I ordered a black ICED cold brew. It took the staff about 15 minutes to complete my order, granted it was super busy. The workers seemed super tired. My cold brew was unfortunately warm somehow, i exchanged it for a new one. yet again my iced drink was made warm. i complained to a manager and they rolled their eyes and gave me a sarcastic sorry. Third times the charm right? nope, still warm. tired of complaining i just walked out with my drink.

I don't understand how this place has such a high rating. Every single time I've purchased food it's been either moldy or stale and expired. The staff is nice, but management is absolutely lacking. The espresso is good, but eat there at your own risk

But during my second visit, I had an experience that was so disrespectful I felt I needed to say something, even though I’m a young woman (not a karen!) who genuinely never leaves negative reviews. I was served by a female barista with who was extremely rude and dismissive. While I was placing my order, she cut me off mid-sentence to start talking to another customer all cheery. The entire interaction felt hostile, and when I thanked her for my drink, she just gave me a rude look and didn’t respond. Throughout the interaction she was openly dismissive, visibly irritated, and made no effort to provide even basic courtesy. The male barista who took my friend’s order was great. I was super polite when I ordered and have no idea what I did to deserve that kind of treatment, but no customer should be spoken to or treated that way. I love the Huntington location and hanging out with my friends at this cafe but after this experience, I won’t be returning.
