Our annual Cousins Lunch was held at Bemus Point Inn this year. It was a great choice! The menu offers many options, including breakfast for lunch. There is a daily specials board; and their cinnamon buns are a huge favorite(be prepared to share). Our server was efficient and patient with our crowd. I highly recommend Bemus Point Inn for breakfast or lunch!

I've been here twice now. Both times the breakfast was delicious, and a value. I find Bemus Point Inn, clean, light and bright and comfortable. The staff is exceptional. Very friendly, cheerful and efficient. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a warm and cheery place, with great food, at a reasonable price.

The new remodel is very nice. Great food, pleasant service. Dinner was a nice change. For we usually have breakfast there. Cinnamon rolls are a must try!!

Cheese omelet is my dad's favorite and he got me hooked too. All their food is excellent! Everytime I go they are busy, but we are seated quickly and our food is fast. Great customer service from all the staff. The owner comes out and says hello to every table and is just so friendly! Highly recommend.

Great place for classic dinner food and amazing cinnamon rolls for breakfast and lunch. The dinner menu is also excellent (especially the desserts). Plus the staff are wonderful and the owner is the sweetest! There’s a good reason that they’re always packed on Sunday mornings!

Have been here three times already and plan on coming back many more. Staff is always prompt and courteous, other customers largely are either friendly or keep to themselves, and the kitchen has a very tight staff that work quickly without compromising quality. Highly recommended for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

It's a fun spot for breakfast. Definitely get the giant cinnamon roll! 3 people in our party said the omelets were the best they'd had so I'm giving 4 stars. I had an eggs Benedict and didn't have very much sauce, the English muffin was just shy of burnt, the eggs were more jammy then runny and my son's bacon was very overdone where it didn't get eaten. They were busy though so maybe that was the problem?

We absolutely love this place. Went to dinner last night for the first time. Just one negative...my husband's prime rib was very bland...It did not seem to be seasoned....Otherwise, everything was great!

Wonderful food and wonderful service! We went on a Saturday and had prime rib which was delicious! A friend had the loaded tomato soup which he said was very good! We had a reservation, one friend was a little late but we were never pushed!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Charming place that is always busy due to great food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. The cinnamon roll is huge and is great to share with three or more other people or to take home for breakfast the next day. Waffles are great too. There's usually a short wait but they have complimentary coffee while you wait. Looking forward to the next visit.

NOTHING negative to say about this place!!!! We were greeted with a smile and seated almost instantly to a clean corner seat! The bathrooms were private, clean and stocked full. We ordered the stuffed French toast & big bemus breakfast 👌 along with a jumbo cinnamon roll to go🤤. Couldn't leave without their signature T- shirt "sweetest buns in town"!! We live 2.5 hours away and are on vacation but would definitely make the trip and absolutely come here again!!!💯 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been going to the BPI. for over twenty years, and I know of nowhere better for a meal. My favorite is breakfast. Trust me, if you like Eggs Benedict, you will not be disappointed.

Super friendly staff. Very good food. Don't be fooled by the 'mini' cinnamon roll....it's the same size as a regular Cinnabon! We saw two grown men SHARE a "regular" sized one and they didn't finish. Besides the size it is 100x better than Cinnabon too. YUM!

Visiting the area and had brunch here. Food was outstanding. Mini Cinnamon bun wasn't my favorite, but the hashbrowns and omelet were far superior to most diner/family reastautant offerings. Great toast selection as well.

Friendly staff and locals frequent this place, even in the off seasons. We've been in town twice over 3 years and made multiple visits here each time were in town. It's mostly typical diner fare but their hashed browns are pretty solid if you like them cooked to perfection with I think a little bit of butter. Cinnamon rolls are also a solid choice. The omelettes are a good choice you can't go wrong with either. My only 2 heads ups are for coldbrew coffee and avocado people. I was intrigued by the cold brews they mentioned on their specials board. If you ever get cold brew from a coffee shop then you should probably avoid getting it here or your expectations will have you bummed out. I'm fairly certain their cold brew was simply iced coffee with a healthy amount of flavored creamer. At least when. I tried their cinnamon roll cold brew. As for the avocado comment, we came with out little 1 y/os and we try and feed them more basic whole foods including avocado. I was thinking their side of avocado would have been sliced wedges but instead was a little prepacked cup of mashed avocado. Not a huge deal, the kids are it right up but if you were expecting to add avocado to your dishes then be aware in case you were hoping for it in a not mashed form.

Great food and great people!!! Open for breakfast and lunch. They have a wonderful menu and selection. Anything you order from the menu is delicious. They have expanded the size of the restaurant substantially... They have a really nice ambiance. Also they have experienced waitresses!!!! That makes a HUGE difference if you like good service....These girls GOT IT! Bravo to the wonderful owners!!!!

Sunday was our first visit to this restaurant and we went for breakfast. The food choices were many and the food was excellent and plentiful and reasonably priced. The wait staff were helpful and friendly.

We were just traveling around on a day trip from Pittsburgh. Happened to find the Bemus Point Inn. I had the breakfast special (omelet, hashbrowns and bread) The omelet was perfectly made. The hashbrowns were fantastic with what tasted like a little cheese or something in them. The bread was a home made apple bread toasted - which was unbelievably flavorful. My wife had a salad with chicken and a mandarin dressing. She said it was very good. The coconut cram pie for my wife and a berry pie for me topped of the lunch and both were top notch. They were busy but our server took the time to talk and she had the most positive attitude I have seen in a while! GREAT PLACE

Good heavens, what a place. I’d go every day if I lived these, perhaps more than once. Great food, fairly priced. Nice people. Super atmosphere. I’m out of things to say.

This place is awesome. The wait staff here is the best. I've never been to a restaurant where the wait staff was more deserving of a tip than this place. They were hard working women who had smiles the whole time and met every need of every customer they waited on. The food was really good. The cinnamon role in the morning was perfect. The namesake breakfast is quite large. If you go here for breakfast, pay attention to how hard these women work for you, and give them a bigger tip than you normally do. They absolutely deserve it.

Worth the walk away from the Lake, where restaurants are expensive, for anything from a cup of coffee to full meal. I had a nice brunch at surprisingly modest price. Parking is ample for all but the busiest days.

The Bemus Inn has been our go to spot for a great breakfast. Now it is the only place we’ll go for the traditional Western NY Fish Fry! They serve the best fish fry we’ve ever had, everything about it is perfect, fantastic fries and a freshly made cole slaw that is wonderfully light and refreshing. Then the fish is fried in a delicious panko style breading, not oily and gummy as so many batter-style fish fries can be… perfection!

We dined in and had one of the best prime rib dinners ever. The soup was delicious. the fresh basil on the baked potato and meat dish added an unexpected layer to the flavors of the meal. Then I had the raspberry pie with vanilla ice cream -- best pie ever. (And I'm 75). My wife had the chocolate and vanilla layered mousse. It too was as good as it gets. The only thing better than the meal was the unbelieveably great service from everyone. The entire staff seem to treat everyone as "their personal customer." I can't recommend them any higher! P.S.-- my wife wants to move here now.

We had a list of recommended restaurants from our hotel. Finally went to Bemus Point Inn on the Sunday before we left. Wish we would have gone sooner. It is a nice sized restaurant, and we were greeted promptly. We were told about specials and ordered. The portions were great, we had a few extras and were completely satisfied the rest of the day until dinner. My wife and I both agreed that when we are back in the area, we will definitely be back there for breakfast and possibly lunch. Enjoyed everything. And as we were leaving we saw all the people trying to get in so we know we made a great choice.

The owners cook in the back and wait tables and their personalities are infectious. If you're looking for that warm and charming family centered small town diner feel -- look no further! Be warned, this place gets busy so be prepared for a wait if you come around 10am or 11am Cash or card is fine, no reservations, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, open until 2pm most days (1pm on Sundays). Breakfast is served during all open hours but with limited options after 11am. Come hungry, leave happy!

In love with this place. It’s an incredibly well relationship with excellent food phenomenal staff and quite frankly an incredible experience. We arrive to be greeted by one of the happiest people I’ve ever met, ended up sitting at the bar only to be entertained further by the staff who are working as a team taking care of our need. We had the hash brown casserole which was amazing highly recommend. I told it sells out before 11 o’clock so I get there early. The coffee was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

This is the third time I've enjoyed dinner at Bemus Point Inn. The food is always well prepared and delicious. Last night's meals of chicken marsala and prime rib were excellent. I will continue to be a regular patron of the restaurant and recommend it highly!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. This restaurant is a well oiled machine. They were quite busy when we arrived. We only had a couple minute wait. Our server was pleasant. Knowing that breakfast foods are generally faster than other meals it was hardly no time at all until we were served. Check out was also busy but quick. Food was very tasty and some interesting options. Highly recommend

Adorable hometown feel restaurant. Ordered the soup and grilled cheese sandwich lunch combo, the ham potato soup was delicious as was the grilled cheese which was made on the best sourdough bread I have had. The service was even better than the food, if that is possible. The owner was our waitress and she was so very personable not to just us but to the whole restaurant, and the other waitress and waiter were also very kind. Wish I lived closer as this would be my go to place for everything 🙂

Absolutely excellent! We're from out of town and really enjoyed this little spot. The staff was especially friendly and super eager to be of service, which made us feel right at home. We got there around 11 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy, but the place filled up quickly- this is clearly a local favorite. The food was DELICIOUS- I ordered a veggie omelette that filled me up the rest of the day, and my boyfriend loved his Snickerdoodle waffle (see picture). The Mini Cini was yummy as well. We're so glad we found this little gem and will surely be returning next time we're in Chautauqua!

LOVE that we just found this restaurant! We had the panco crusted fish fry- WOW 🤤 everything down to the side of cottage cheese was fresh and amazing! I am not one for tartar sauce and this was spot on! The staff were so accommodating, friendly, clean and just perfect! The whole restaurant was so clean even the bathroom! The best part was it wasn’t expensive at all! Spent under $50 for two people for a whole meal and drinks-leaving so full! I would give this place 10 ⭐️ if I could! ❤️

Stopped by on a road trip and couldn't have found a better spot! We tried the soup special, pizza! It was ready early and so delicious. Cold brew and breakfast were on point. There are a good bit of daily specials and lots of delicious selections. Atmosphere is nice, there's bar, table, and seating that has a bench side. The people working there are incredibly friendly and thoughtful.

This place never disappoints! At a time when great service in the food industry feels rare, this spot consistently delivers. Whether we’re part of a large “lake house” group or just enjoying our usual Sunday breakfast, the service, menu variety, and food quality are always exceptional. Lately, we've been trying items from the dinner menu, and it's some of the best food we've had in the area. That said, it does face some stiff competition from the seasonal lakefront restaurants—but it certainly holds its own. Highly recommend!

The Traditional Eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. The poached eggs were perfectly runny. The home fries were beautifully seasoned and cooked very well. Weren’t soggy or soft. The staff were all very friendly. If you’re in the area and in the mood for breakfast, highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place and have been coming here for years. Family owned and operated, the food is always fresh and homemade. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and casual. Service is extremely accommodating and always friendly. Now serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I don't know which is my favorite meal!! If you come for breakfast, make sure you order the cinnamon roll, even if you take it home. The prime rib special on Saturday is fantastic. The homemade desserts are wonderful. Take one with you; you will probably be full. Give them a try. They do not disappoint!!

Bemus Point Restaurant is an excellent morning spot. We were treated like locals within minutes. Classic breakfasts cooked with passion and excellence as if they were cooking for their own family. Waitresses don't just serve you, they adopt you! They remember your names and preferences after just one visit. The outstanding, memorable feature among many is the organizational culture. Everyone serves all customers as a team. It is not scattered. You are cared for by one waitress but all pitch in to help. One waitress overheard my fiance's desire for coffee and took care of it immediately. My fiance wanted crispy bacon and I wanted wet bacon. We both received as we desired. The place is always packed and there is always room for one more! We will be back when we are in the neighborhood. Keep up the great work!

Upon entering this quaint establishment I was greeted by 4 employees with a resounding "Welcome!" We could pick where we wanted to sit as a party of four. Atmosphere was inviting, clean with plenty of room between tables to accommodate someone in a wheelchair. The menu had something for everyone-kids, seniors, vegetarian friendly. The prices were reasonable. I ordered a cheeseburger w/provolone, cooked to perfection and hand-cut fresh french fries. I was told this is the place to order a Jumbo Cinnamon roll, it definitely didn't disappoint us, it was massive. Plenty of parking available. I'm looking forward to another visit in the near future 😊

The Bemus Inn is one of our family's favorite restaurants around Chautauqua Lake, and today was my first time visiting this year. It was a calm Friday morning when we arrived around 10am, and we immediately seated ourselves at the empty bar. I ordered a hot chocolate, which now comes on a bigger mug, and a #12 breakfast that includes French toast, two eggs, sausage, and bacon. My sister got Irish eggs Benedict, and my brother got toast and eggs. Everything was great and our waitress was attentive without being annoying, some places don't know the balance but I've never had a problem here. The restaurant was getting busy as we left so it was just the right time to eat breakfast. We also enjoyed seeing the restaurants exterior and interior improvements made over the past year.

My husband and I were visiting Jamestown for a weekend getaway and were told by a Jamestown native that we had to come here for breakfast. They were definitely right! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was phenomenal. We ordered the cinnamon bun, which was amazing and some breakfast specials - stuffed french toast and turkey, avocado, and spinach eggs benedict. This was one of our favorite restaurants we visited on our trip. Highly recommend it!

The cinnamon rolls are like a small loaf of bread but way more delicious. I often make a meal out of the roll with a couple eggs on the side and always have a nice tall glass of milk to wash it down with. If you've never experienced one of the Bemus Point Inn cinnamon rolls, DO IT! Take a friend to share it with or plan to take some home with you because not many people eat the whole thing in one sitting like I do... they're so good!

Nice casual friendly atmosphere. Delicious food with average prices. Very busy this morning, so sat a little longer than usual to take our order. Food came out quickly after order put in. Owner came out to apologize for the long wait. She made up for it in the quickness in the kitchen. Would go again and bring some new people to try it out. Also the cinnamon roll is the size of a dinner plate and covered in glaze. Was too full and have sweets left over from Christmas or I would have bought one. Reason for me to return sometime soon.

It's always a treat to come here! We had the Irish Benedict. Corned beef hash on a toasted English muffin with an over easy egg topped with hollandaise sauce. Accompanied with crispy hash browns! Serving size will keep you full till supper time!

Came because a local recommended the jumbo cinnamon bun. It was fantastic, split easily between six adults. The service was courteous and helpful with two children under 4 ordering can be challenging. The highlights for us were the three different Egg Benedict breakfasts. I had the Southwest variant with peppers, onions and a sausage patty between a nicely cooked pouched egg and English muffin. A creamy hollandaise and my own added hot sauce completed the dish (you gotta have some heat!). My wife went with the Irish Benedict that featured what looked like well prepared corned beef hash and my daughter was tempted by the Vegetarian Benedict. Such a gem of a place in the local resort town of Bemis Point on Lake Chautauqua .

The Bemus Point Inn has expanded to dinner. We got the calamari appetizer with a mildly spicy dipping sauce that was very nice. After that, I had the pan fried haddock with a lemon-lime beurre; my wife had the birria taco bowl. We were both quite happy! Beer and wine are available but we settle.foe water and a soft drink. Anyhow, this is a great addition to food places in Bemus :-)

Expensive the omelette had hardly any bacon, sausage or cheese in it. Wasn't worth the price. The waitress never came bake had to go to the counter and ask for more of everything. She acted like she shouldn't be there.

We found the food to be very disappointing. The portions are large so there is a lot of value. However, the Alfredo was very milky tasting and had almost no cheese flavor, though the small steak portion we got on the side was very good. Even thought I split the Alfredo, we just couldn’t finish it because of how bad the flavor was. Another member of our party got the Chicken Marsala and found it similarly disappointing all around. In slight contrast, another person got a pork chop and found it ok, but nothing special. We also got dessert and found the peanut butter pie to be very good while the rhubarb pie was too sweet. The service was quite good. Our server was kind and very accommodating with our large party. The prices are very reasonable so there is a lot of bang for your buck. The restaurant itself was nice and clean. The vibe was cozy and welcoming, and the bathrooms were pleasant. Parking was good. Overall: I would not recommend this restaurant because of our party’s poor experience with the food. However, the menu is large and other people I know have said they quite enjoy this restaurant.

The restaurant is charming and has a lovely outdoor seating area. I had the Fish Fry Dinner: The hand-cut French Fries were fabulous! Perfectly cooked too! The fish part was very disappointing.... The fish itself was dried out and hard, maybe it was left from yesterday or had been microwaved? and it was coated in a thick, blob of bland batter--comparable to what I would expect at a cheap Carnival booth. And the batter was so piled on and thick it was not fully cooked all the way through, as well as it was incredibly greasy. A big yuck. The "coleslaw" was a few bigger pieces of cabbage in vinegar. This was a poor quality meal, and not worth the rather expensive price tag. The low service score is because there was only one main blonde/brown haired woman doing all the work, and she was clearly "running her legs off" and trying to manage all aspects of front restaurant and needed help. It is worth mentioning that I noticed that she was kind and patient even in the midst of being frantically over-worked. There was a younger dark-haired girl who seemed to just be standing around, or maybe she was overwhelmed around and did not know what the do. From what I have heard Bemus Point Restaurant is great for breakfast but go somewhere else for the Fish Fry!
