Ate here tonight, happy to see they were open on eclipse day. Husband’s shrimp portofino was 5 star, my beautiful grilled salmon on pearl cous cous was heaven. The asparagus cooked perfectly. Thank you!!
What a gem we found while en route to Chautauqua from Erie, PA. We stopped for a Bloody Mary (which was perfectly boozy, tomato-y and spicey) and liked Jess (our mixologist) so much, we drove back to have lunch! We met Nick Andriaccio, a lovely man who was having "the Godfather" for lunch with his homemade sausage, capicola and peppers. I had the same for my lunch and my friend had an eggplant sandwich. They were plentiful sandwiches, served with the best macaroni salad I've ever had at a restaurant. It was cavatappi and had olives in it. Oh, we ordered the stuffed prime rib meatballs for appetizer, too. They were served on a bed of ricotta and were delicious! My bill was under $25, and I was STUFFED, we both took half of our sandwich home. The restaurant was super clean and well appointed, the rest room was super clean (even in the corners!!) I wish I could give this place 100 stars.
Andriaccio’s hosted our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner and catered wedding at Chautauqua Barn. The food was tops, delicious, made with love. The staff was very professional polite, but most of all we felt we were part of their family! Highly recommended.
We had a exceptional experience at your fine establishment last night! I ordered the deep dish with extra mushrooms and boy was it superb! The waitress name was Jenna and did she really help us in ordering. She understood right away what we wanted and suggested things right away. This is most helpful specially when some of tge menu items have Italian names. Her top notch Service went s long way! In fact, my mouth has started to water up just thinking about what I ordered. We had both the calamari and garlic bread as appetizers . Also an excellent choice we had made that was gobled up in no time. I did request for a pepper mill and was surprised to hear, you didn't carry one. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the wholesome cozy ambionce of the place. I will certainly share my experience with my 'Torontonian' family and friends. God Bless.
We vacationed for 10 days in the Chautauqua region. Wonderful waitresses that are very friendly and attentive especially Jess who is a genuine person at heart. We came here 4 times and one day ordered takeout for the next day so basically ate dinners from here 5 of 10 days…yeah, THAT good! Originally from NYC it is so hard to find real old world Italian cuisine that has that flavor outside a big city. I’m not a big fan of eating out because it seems places overseason bad food to disguise it. Not this place. First time in a long time I left a place not worrying about heartburn later. If you want old world flavors come here…you wont regret it.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Great service, delicious food. They had live accordion music which was beautiful.
Did take out for 8 people. The order was correct and the food was very good. I enjoyed the chicken parmesan. Everyone enjoyed their food to include pizza, wings, chicken tenders (very large portion), and eggplant Parmesan.
We were in town for two nights, and had dinner here the first night; it was so good, we came back for dinner the second night too. Service (Jess both nights) was wonderful. Food was excellent, pasta the first night, pizza & calzone the second. Atmosphere was nice on Thursday; my $0.02, I don't really think we really needed the hockey game on a giant TV Friday night. Staff turned it on, but I don't think anyone was really paying attention, so it didn't seem like it was turned by customer request.
Real Italian food. Every meal we had was perfect.
We held the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding at Andrioccio's. The service, food, and outdoor patio dining was amazing! Because we were from out-of-state we also held a Sunday breakfast for our out-of-town guests. And just like the rehearsal dinner, everything was excellent. The buffet meals were beautifully arranged, a nice selection of food items and eating out on their patio added a very special touch. Such a hard working crew! Thank you for making our weekend extra special!
Great Italian food and a menu with something for everyone. I had a pizza calzone and it was excellent
Amazing. Not our first time here and definitely not last. Everyone in our group left extremely happy. Definitely will be back soon!! We had the lasagna , the shrimp Portofino dish and the ratatouille special - so so good! We also shared the fried dough dessert. Service was quick and the waitress gave us some good recommendations. Thank you Andriaccios!
Our traditional Saturday evening dinner spot when we come to Chautauqua! Always great food and pizza with good service. Over the 30 years or so we've been dining here they have added and then expanded a fine covered patio and expanded the menu as well. Last night we enjoyed the Chicago style deep-dish pizza. Perfect meal for two with side salads! And if you need to wait to use the restrooms you can peruse the long mural in the hallway of Chautauqua Lake and get your bearings!
We dined with them last year and the food and service was great. With covid, we decided on delivery on a Friday night. Ordering online was easy and the delivery came within 10 minutes of the estimated time. We ordered a supreme pizza and it was SO good. The toppings were a-plenty and the sauce was so tasty. Highly recommend!
Excellent little find off the beach. If you're in Chautauqua area it's worth a visit. We went on a Tuesday night when a lot of places were closed. They had live music and the food was spot on. Parking is a little crazy but you can a spot.
My girlfriend and I came from Erie PA for the first time. Requested to sit outside with no issues and no wait for a table for 2. Prices were extremely reasonable. $32 for a whole bottle of wine. I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of food. Will definitely come back!
The cheese & pepperoni pizza was delicious! We ordered a 16" for our family of four, it was more than enough, and at a reasonable price too. The wait staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend sitting in Sara's section. She is an amazing waitress!
Excellent. We had a large party (> 15). They handled it with grace and speed. The order was taken promptly. The food arrived hot and together. The taste was terrific. I recommend it highly.
We love this place, have been coming here since first generation opened the doors back in the 80's. Food and service always excellent. I like to try different things and my husband has been getting their ham and cheese calzone. This time I ordered the salmon with creamy spinach risotto special, blistered tomatoes and lemon sauce, and asparagus. Amazing!
We were sent here on the recommendation of the staff at our hotel. They did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very homey. The food was delicious. We had the calamari, the stuffed bread, Shrimp Portifino and Chicken Parm. Everything was presented beautifully. Staff was gracious. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant.
They have the best pizza in the county and ordering online is a breeze. My personal favorite is the Margherita Pizza. And I love that you can order half your pizza build your own pizza and the other half specialty pizza. It makes pleasing everyone easy and affordable!!
We came with a large wedding party for lunch and ordered ahead of time. Not only was the food great, but they went above and beyond with their setup and made it easy on our large group. Thank you!
This is a delightful place for a meal. Just be aware that they can be very busy. The chicken is cooked wonderfully and from the table, the atmosphere is perfect to talk and enjoy.
Food and service was excellent and the food came out quick and hot. The portion sizes also resemble the pricing. I will definitely come again
If you stick to food the prices are okay - not inexpensive, but within reasonable limits. Adult beverages are expensive, to very expensive - noticeable in the final cost Add ons (eg bread, appetizers, salads) are also on the higher side, but nicely presented. Food was tasty and enjoyable - (the red sauce is very good) - and delivered incredibly fast. All that said, the service is outstanding - our server was wonderful with the chaos of our family - accommodating, kind, and fabulous with the little ones. It's a great place for a special occasion.
Had a great meal. Ordered the carbonara. Very delicious and authentic.
Even though they are remodeling so their dining area is small right now. It's still cozy, and they do a very good job of seating quickly. The food is always wonderful. We had the Supreme Pizza and BBQ wings. The pizza was the best we've ever had. Done perfectly with just the right amount of toppings.
4 of us had a great dinner. It was a busy and popular restaurant.
My family and I are originally from the South Philadelphia area, so we're familiar with good pizza and Italian food. This food was really, really good! The sauce was delicious, and all four people in my party agreed that they very much enjoyed their food. Two people had pizza, one had a stromboli, and one a calzone. We had takeout, so I can't really speak to the service and decor, but the takeout process was simple and efficient.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My family of 12 had dinner at Andriaccios last night. Not only did they have an amazing outdoor table ready to go for the reservation that I had made earlier in the day, but we got the best server (Logan) and delicious food! She never missed a beat managing all 12 of us. The food was hot and delicious and just as we all had ordered. We had 2 orders for family that were delayed and she even offered to warm up their meals when they arrived. We had pizzas and pastas and even french fries and all were excellent! At the end of the meal, they brought out fried dough that had cinnamon and sugar on it! What a way to finish! We are so thankful to have such a wonderful dinner option for a large group!! Thank you for your amazing service and food!
We were looking for a nice meal for the two of us. I had a 10" pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. My hubby had the lasagna. They had fresh bread before the meal, and we ordered garlic bread with cheese as well. The sauce was very good, perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed it and definitely would go again, if in the area.
Ordered for the entire family. Ordered 50 mild wings, a cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, a Neapolitan pizza, and a gluten free pizza and everyone enjoyed their food. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food we ordered and service was very fast and friendly. Our only complaint was that we only got a tiny bag of celery for our order of 50 wings. Other than that, everything was delicious!
Update: This place is fantastic every time. Some restaurants are hit and miss, but Andriaccio's serves the best they have every single time. I haven't got one single bad meal from them. We live 20 minutes away from the restaurant and the food is always hot, fresh and high quality even though it's being delivered at a good distance. Best Restaurant in the area. I got the Mahi Mahi sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. Old Review: Delivery in this region is rare, so we greatly appreciate high quality food delivered to our doorstep.
Had an early dinner there today (4:30 ish). I had previously had take out from there but never dine in. We had outdoor seating. The patio was very nice. They have it decorated very nice and the seating was comfortable. About half way through our dinner there was an acoustic musician which was talented and not too loud. Our server was fabulous. I asked for suggestions on what to order and she was right on! The food was really good, the portions were generous.
This was our first time visiting and we were celebrating our anniversary. We enjoy Italian food and thought we would give them a try. I had the homemade lasagna and the server had recommended the Alfredo sauce which was absolutely the best lasagna that I have ever had. The service was prompt and the wait staff were all very upbeat and courteous. We will definitely return and highly recommend to others to give them a try.
Every summer I really look forward to eating here. Great food, service and atmosphere!
A Chautauqua Gem! We dined at Andriaccio's with a party of ten women on a girl's weekend. (This was a first visit for nine of the ten) Reservations were made ahead of time and our table was ready when we arrived. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was very kind, efficient and excellent. We learned as we were leaving that it was her first day. She did a fantastic job! The accordion player playing during dinner was a nice touch.
Authentic Italian experience,.. The service was fantastic, the meal was exceptional, and the dessert was outstanding!! We ate on the patio, and it was so pleasant. Can't wait to have another trip up here, just to visit this restaurant again! We're from Southern Georgia, though, so it might be a while before we can make it again.
I stopped by a few days ago for a wedding rehearsal dinner, the new girl behind the hostess table was a very pleasant sight. Had a gorgeous and friendly smile, hope to see her again when I come back in. The food was also fantastic along with the vibes. Will be coming in regularly!
I heard music from near our table and couldn't tell where it was coming from. A gentleman was sitting directly behind me playing a very large type accordian! He played music from some of the best movies ever from the 1950's and 1960's. It was so romantic and awe inspiring at the same time! We really enjoyed everything about our experience ❤️!
I had the pasta carbonara. It was delicious. Not too much, not too little, flavorful. We also had the calamari with the raspberry spicy sauce which was very different and we loved it. Not out of the freezer bag as far as I could tell. Delicately cooked.
We love Andriaccio's. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. You can dress up or show up in a hoodie and it doesn't matter. Great calzones and pizza but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The servers are friendly and efficient. Come on the weekend when the accordion player is there for the full Italian experience!
Best pizza I've ever had. I stayed in the area for about a week while traveling and had this pizza every night! I miss it, so delicious!
An accordion player serenaded us at a decibel that did not interfere with our talking. It was very nice. Looking forward to our next trip 👍.
If Andriaccio’s were in L.A. (my hometown), I’d probably rate it a solid 4. But given its location near the Chautauqua Institution - where dining options are limited - it earns a full 5 stars. It’s a must-visit for us every year during our week in Chautauqua. Andriaccio’s has a large Italian menu, and because we’ve been several times - sometimes just the two of us, other times with friends - we’ve had the chance to try a lot of it. I’m especially fond of their pizza, but the pasta and steak dishes have also been consistently good. There really aren’t any bad choices on the menu. Service is another strong point. Even when the restaurant is busy, the waitstaff is always polite, attentive, and unhurried. They check in regularly and make you feel taken care of without hovering. It’s reliable, welcoming, and exactly the kind of place you’re grateful to have nearby when options are limited.
My best friend and I ate here prior to attending a concert at Chautauqua Amphitheater because they offer gluten free options. We were unable to make a reservation as they are not accepted on Fridays and Saturdays, at least not in the summer for small parties. It was worth the wait though- the gluten free pizza was one of the best I've had!! The service was excellent as well. We told our waitress that we were trying to make the show and she made sure we had our food ASAP and the bill right away so that we could leave. We sat outside under a large tent which was nicely decorated with fairy lights. One thing to note is that the parking area is on the smaller side for the amount of tables available in the summer. We were lucky and someone was leaving. But, if you are going to Chautauqua and parking in that lot, it didn't look to be a very far walk to the restaurant. We truly enjoyed ourselves and I'm looking forward to returning the next time I'm in the area.
What a sweet place to stumble into on a late Sunday afternoon. We were looking for "2nd meal" and this was the perfect menu. Sat on the covered patio and really enjoyed being outdoors but out of the sun as well. The meatball sub is excellent as is the Nick's sausage sub. Subs were served with bagged chips and a pickle spear. 12" subs are enough for two meals for us! The Bloody Mary was the least successful ordered item reported as being "impressively bad" - no celery salt, no Worcestershire sauce, no horseradish, not even salt, and maybe made with Clamato juice? just not good. That said, the prosecco was lovely and the Tiramisu delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful. Family owned restaurant. If we lived in the area we'd make it there every few weeks.
One of the best restaurants I've eaten at. The food was top notch and our server was excellent. We are from the Cleveland, Ohio area and wish this restaurant is closer. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We were lucky to go after the Chautauqua Institution assembly had ended for the season. No wait! Overall, excellent service and food. Had chicken parm and lasagna - both were good and large portions. Was, however a bit surprised that our entrees did not come with a least a salad. All sides, including salads, were extra. The roasted carrots were tasty. I was surprised that my Caesar salad had cherry tomatoes in it though. Reasonably priced beers.
Always a great experience. This place has been around forever, and it maintains its reputation for time-tested favorites (butter and garlic wings might be the best wings in the world, no joke) while making well-aimed updates to the menu by offering thoughtful twists on classic cocktails and elegant new pasta options. We recently ate there for Father's Day and they had a special menu for the occasion, all very special and lovely. Hats off to the owners and their staff. Can't wait to eat there again.
Ordered a few pizzas for takeout & our whole group was pleased + well fed. Pizzas were ready exactly when they quoted over the phone & pricing is very fair. A larger-sized gluten free crust would be preferred, but appreciated even having that available so only a minor knock. Overall, pizzas were well baked, toppings were generous and you could taste that all ingredients were fresh & high quality. I’d definitely be interested in going there for the full sit down experience, but if you need pizza in the Chautauqua area, Andriaccio’s is the spot ✌🏻
Went here with a small group for lunch and I can’t say enough good things! Our server was so helpful and patient with us (we had to wait for part of our party to arrive) and never made us feel anything less than amazing! It was recommended to me to try their Calamari and Shrimp Portofino and both were out of this world! The boom boom sauce with the calamari was so amazing! Everyone in our party raved about how good each of their meals were and how large all the portions were! I think we all went home with left overs! I would highly recommend checking out this amazing gem!
This is such a gem of a restaurant! From the outside it looks like a generic Italian place, but the quality of the food is exceptional and the staff are simply a cut above the rest! We took a group of approximately 40 high schoolers here, a large group for the seating available, and had friendly, fast, and attentive service. The staff were patient and courteous and if our size group caused any added stress to their shift, you would never know.
so - the food was okay as expected. the porch is wonderful, servers great - unusual for most restaurants they could add anchovies to their caesar! woot! the prime rib was fattier than wanted but seasoning was solid and it was rare - just like we wanted it to be.
Cozy restaurant with good food. The server was very nice and attentive. We had the pizza logs as an appetizer and they could be a meal all by themselves. I had the cavatappi pasta that was good, if a bit light on the sauce. My wife had a calzone that she also enjoyed... She also would have enjoyed a bit more sauce. We got a dessert to go and called it a good night. Definitely would return!
the food was great!!!! i got the shrimp pasta dish, and it was amazing. the fried dough for dessert was so good too. pleasantly surprised by the amazing food here!
I was visiting family in Sherman this weekend and we took our aunt out for dinner. It was busy, but the staff was great, it was a little pricy, but the food was delicious! I had the shrimp Primavera (see attached picture) it was tonight's special for $16.99, to me it was definitely worth it! If we are back in town again, we will be back!
Late birthday dinner because I worked yesterday on my birthday. First time here. Food was delicious and it's a good thing we liked it because our server never checked to see how everything was. I asked for extra napkins never got them. We're ready to leave and she asked how was everything. I'm a server and you are supposed to ask that within a few minutes after getting your food
We were famished and luckily stumbled upon this great restaurant. The place is quite beautiful and the menu has prices that are affordable while also reflecting the homemade high quality of the food they're serving. We tried and devoured the stuff garlic bread. Our calzone was perfection. Two in our party ordered the prime rib special one was cooked to perfection. The other (ordered midrare) was cooked to med well at best. But, we still enjoyed it. It was clear the staff cared and wanted to provide a great experience. Next time we're in the area we won't hesitate to stop for another meal.
Nice restaurant for those wanting something more tasty than the Chautauqua standard fare across the street. Had fresh mozzarella salad, crispy calamari and really good garlic butter wings. They were a bit on the overly fried side but the flavors were top notch. Would definitely recommend.
Pizza was tasty, calamari was good but too salty today. Unfortunately the carbonara was cold and peas in the sauce were completely raw. If you take the pizza out of the equation the food was two stars because of the above. Pizza alone was four stars. Maybe next time we will have a better experience :/
Food was terrible, again! This is a great family Italian restaurant however the food depends upon the cook and delivery can also take awhile at times causing food to change quality. Suggestion - make sure that your cooks WANT to be cooks, and ensure they have the experience or know how to prepare your meals. Delivery service is always a great option which is why we order from them despite having to throw the last 2 orders into the garbage can. There was no way that I could eat any part of it 👎😪I believe we should be refunded our last order at least
Service was not good. She just dropped the food off and never came back, I had to go find her and ask for our check. The bread was amazing, but the eggplant parm was the worst I've ever had. It was weird. It looked burnt, but the inside was like slime. Waited a while to go here very disappointed. I will try this place again, tho because I heard the pizza was very good.
You know, Andriaccio's is one of the only food options available in my area. I must say, the staff is always nice, but the food never wows me. I was thoroughly disappointed this week, with a stop by for lunch. (I was meeting colleagues, and going to an event at Chautauqua Institution afterward.). I had the Calzone, which frankly was terrible. Undercooked green pepper pieces, baked in a mountain of tasteless mozzarella, wrapped in pizza dough. When I say tasteless, I mean it. They were out of iced tea, like regular iced tea. Only offering the sweet raspberry type. Ugh. I've had two things there I like over the years...the meat all sub, and the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce is great. Like I said, the staff is great, but hells bells, I'm convinced they only stay alive because they are the only game in town. PLEASE make your food tastier, don't overcook your calamari, give your pizza some zest! I WANT to love you. Sign me, Always Disappointed.
Disappointed by lackluster dishes with little imagination or flavor. Saddest Caesar salad I've ever eaten, and the carbonara was bland. Service, however, was outstanding.
Such a beautiful restaurant we always get pizza and spaghetti from. We're really sad that we had such a bad visit this time. There were only 2 other tables and we had a long wait time on drink refills because our waitress was talking with friends while the kitchen kept ringing the pick up bell for her for about 5 minutes straight. No sides come with the pasta dishes not even a slice of bread. Our food came out luke warm on ice cold plates. The flavor of the spaghetti and meatballs were amazing, but they break their noodles in half which is a sin and it was room temperature today. The flavor of the Alfredo was very bland. The chicken had zero seasoning and it tasted like it was from a can or frozen and boiled with chunks of cartilage in it. I told the waitress and asked for seasoning or something to save it. Nothing did. I had 2 bites of it and left it all on the dish in a big pile. When the waitress came she looked right at it and I told her I didn't like it at all. She still charged us the upcharge for the uneaten chicken that I complained about twice. I always tip at the very least 20% everywhere, today I tipped $3.
Ordered the filet oscar medium rare. It came out almost well done. Asked for it to be redone. The server stated they couldnt remake the dish for me but could get me something else. This was early in the night so they weren’t out of filet. Very disappointed as we made reservations there for this specific special for Valentine’s day.
nice atmosphere, fresh flowers on most tables, although wilting...but still, a nice touch! lots of art and paintings/murals on the walls...the food was.. meh.... although i can only base it on a burger and pizza cause thats all i had. pizza was ok, it didnt have sweet sauce, which was good. burger was not good...seemed old. the meat was like it had been in a freezer for a long time or just poor quality. texture was just awful, and i couldnt detect any seasoning or flavor. it was grilled and had some char on the outside which was good, but save your $ and you can make a better, fresher burger at home. i recall this place having good deep dish pizza back in the day, maybe it still does, but the regular pizza was just ok.
Not impressed. They looked a little busy so we asked how long the wait would be for 4 people. They said 30 minutes so we put our name in and waited. When 30 minutes was up, we went up to check and we were told 20 more minutes. 30 minutes later we asked again and we were told we were next. We were finally seated at about an hour and 20 minutes. Several other people who were waiting shared similar experiences and some of them were fairly local and said they have had this experience before. When our waitress came we told her that we needed to order and get our food ASAP because we had somewhere else to be. The service was very slow though and once it finally came, we had to inhale it and run. They were also out of several things and said they do not serve other items at dinner, even though it was on the dinner menu they brought us. Very stressful and not an enjoyable experience. Would not recommend…
What has happened to one of my favorite restaurants in Chautauqua? This place used to be awesome. The food was very good and the service matched. Over the past year there has been a noticeable decline. The food is not consistent and the portion size has been reduced. Additionally, everything takes a lot longer. Sadly, it’s probably a sign of the times, but the days of Andriaccio’s being a no-brainer are gone
Food is not worth it. Wife got a carbonara and I got a grilled chicken apple salad. She ended up getting food poisoning. The grilled chicken salad serving was a joke and they must've picked the mealiest, driest apple at the bottom of the bin. Shame that since Webbs closed this is really what is left for eating out a restaurant. Guess I'll have to start learning to cook.
It makes me sad to leave this review. I used to love this place, but our dinner last night was tragic. Empty restaurant, only got one cup of coffee, hardly saw the server. Server was poorly trained reached over my plate several times when he could have walked around. There was more but you get the idea.as for the food I went I. For the veal parm, which apparently they don't serve any longer, I guess the hippies finally won. What I ordered came out like warm and rather bland on a gigantic plastic platter designed for 3 times the food I got. Once again there is still more to this story but I don't wanna beat up on a place I used to love any more than I need to. I guess decent services is now reserved for when the institution is in season. It's been coming for years, I hoped I was wrong but it seems the old place really is gone. It was my last visit
They took forever to get two of us seated and when they did it was directly in the sun. The food tasted great but the portion sizes were tiny for the money we paid. Our server barely visited the table to check on us or see if we wanted anything. One of the more disappointing dinner experiences we have ever had.
Went here after arriving from Pittsburgh for dinner. Hours on internet stated close at 9:00 PM. Nope! Close at 8:00 on Thursday. Thanks for nothing!! Went to another place in Westfield! Wonderful! They have their hours updated and delicious food!! Friendly staff!
Brought friends from Florida, our (table of seven) we had appetizers, entrees, several drinks. My friend from Florida ordered Lasagna, it came dried up(, cold, terrible! After 30 min, every one was finished) no body else liked their dinner either! My friend told the waitress to forget it! The bill came, over $260. and charged for the lasagna! Will never come again and I will tell everyone I know about our terrible experience!
We dined at your restaurant on July 4th. My son has celiac disease, and we were extremely careful to double and triple check with our server about which menu items would be safe for him. Under her guidance, we eventually ordered the Mahi Bowl and the Mediterranean Salmon. I reminded her multiple times that these dishes had to be completely gluten free, as even trace amounts of gluten can cause significant and lasting harm to someone with celiac disease. At first, the server seemed knowledgeable and reassured us, so we trusted her recommendations. However, when the food arrived, my son—who was very hungry—took a few bites of the salmon dish before discovering that the bottom layer was sitting on a bed of couscous. Couscous contains gluten and is absolutely not safe for someone with celiac disease. When I asked the server about this, she casually explained that only the top portion of the dish was gluten free and the rest of the plate was not. This level of carelessness is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of understanding about the severity of celiac disease. Worse, no formal apology was offered at the time. The situation was brushed off, as if the health consequences were minor. As a result of this mistake, months of healing and dietary diligence for my son may have been undone. We were in a hurry that evening and did not have time to speak with a manager, but we left deeply upset and disappointed by how this was handled. This experience has shaken our trust, and we hope the restaurant will take this matter seriously and address how gluten free requests are communicated and handled in the future to prevent this from happening to others.
Me and my wife come up here from erie pa every weekend and I get chicken parm or lasagna with two extra meatballs and we get bread its Italian food well this one waitress said that she doesn't serve Italian bread at lunch time first of all its 2:00 in the after noon so why is some waitresses give you bread and some don't I may stop going there will see. Well M
Worst restaurant I’ve been in NY so far. Food was mediocre at best and we had to turn one plate back because it was full of hair. Owner was drunk and loud in the back… do yourself a favour and drive somewhere else!
This review is mostly for their catering/event coordinator. After having our wedding, I would not recommend Andriaccio's Restaurant to any family or friends for their catering services. Their food was absolutely amazing, but that wasn't the problem we ran into. They seemed very friendly and professional at first, then they switched event coordinators, and everything went south very quickly. Our first meeting with the new event coordinator was pretty awful and left us feeling worried. They lost all of the documentation we had outlining what food and beverage packages we wanted, along with food selections. After the second meeting in person, things seemed to be a lot better. Sally, the new event coordinator, told us she would be taking care of all of the wedding day formalities that a normal wedding planner would do. They even made us a timeline of when things would happen and assured us someone would be around the day of the wedding to make sure things went smoothly. Now we had planned on meeting with Sally the day before our wedding at 1 o'clock to make sure everything went well with setting up tables and linens. She didn't show up until nearly 5 o'clock minutes before our rehearsal. Our head table was set up 4 people short of what we requested, and when she arrived, she told us she doesn't usually do the rehearsal dinners. This seemed strange due to the fact she said she preferred we didn't have a wedding coordinator, and she usually takes care of everything. After the main rehearsal we asked to do a practice inside in case it rained and she said no there isn't any need it won't rain. And she promptly left. Not surprisingly, it rained on our wedding day, and my father in law had to quickly scramble to figure out what to do. We made it work but not without extra stress on our big day. Throughout the wedding, I had to talk with our DJ about who was doing speeches when they were happening, I had to let him know when the first Dances were happening, I had to do the job of Sally and her employees because Sally never showed up on our wedding day. We had no one there to help us with the execution of the timeline she set up, and it left all of the formalities to be unorganized and stressful. Other than the wedding day problems, I (the groom) requested Crown Apple as my only request for the bar to have, and they didn't even have it. All together, the food was amazing but as the Bride and Groom it was a disappointing experience using them to cater our wedding.
Cheese on pizza was overcooked and they used only about 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of toppings you'd expect. Overall far below average pizza. The 4.4 rating here is shocking. On the positive side the sauce was sweet, possibly a little too sweet (I don't mind that). And the meatball toppings, despite how little they gave and how they were oddly cube-cut, were tasty.
We were traveling through NY and decided to try a local place for food. The service was good. Really nice people. We ordered pizza and garlic cheese bread. We were not impressed with the food. The pizza seemed more like what you would get from the frozen food section at the grocery. The garlic cheese bread was a little over priced for what we got.
The menu sounded phenomenal and it was huge with lots to choose from. When we got there the place was packed so it seemed very promising. However, our food was terrible! The seafood carbonara tasted like someone blew a hint of butter scent on it and there was absolutely no seasoning. The shrimp & tiny pieces of lobster were tasteless as well. The spaghetti & meatballs was drier than the Sahara there must have been a sauce shortage? Don't let the picture fool you once mixed it really wasn't enough. The only sorta good things were the honey mustard wings (even though those were overcooked) and the Italian wedding soup. Maybe this place has really good "something" we obviously didn't order to warrant the traffic?? We did take out hence why this highly expensive food didn't go straight back to where it came from. $70 wasted won't return.
