Neighborhood delight! This is my go to dinner place for a chill Italian meal. All of the waiters have been here for the past 10+ years and welcome you like family when you come in! The fig gnocchi and chicken martini are my favorites!
Surprisingly good little restaurant with impeccable service, food and atmosphere. Everything we ordered was outstanding, taste, and presentation wise. Highly recommend, I will be back.
The dishes in Luna Rosa were amazing! The staff were very friendly and professional. I did not recall hearing any music, but the atmosphere was already great when we were surrounded with friends and families.
Best lasagne I’ve ever had and the service was great.
I made a reservation here for my friend for his birthday and the service and food was beyond my expectations! They really do take care of you and treat you like family at Luna Rossa❤️
Great Italian restaurant, really enjoyed every course especially the eggplant parmigiana
Super cute and cozy, felt like home . So delicious, homemade pasta, delicious wine and dessert. Love the service and food. Will be back!
Unassuming delicious Italian food! Quaint and perfect for catching up with friends.
What an amazing experience. Hector and Alvero were absolutely wonderful! 10/10 for everything.
Pricey but everyone in this neighborhood is a zillionaire anyway and the dishes were all very tasty. The ricotta cheesecake was great
awesome cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant! great service great food. highly recommend
This is my new favorite NYC Italian restaurant. It’s incredible hospitality (which goes over and beyond “service”) makes you feel like family. The food is outstanding. And the restaurant has a wonderful and cosy ambience; and is kept spotless.
Went here for a birthday meal and was blown away by the food and service. The pasta had the perfect texture with a deep seafood flavour that did not rely on msg or salt. The staff was so gracious to accommodate splitting an appetizer and main with zero complaints. Homely and friendly.
The food quality, the timing, and the staff all stood out. The workers excel; greeting customers cheerfully and accommodating requests with smiles. The restaurant balances warmth with proper hygiene. My culinary journey includes trying their entire selection. I genuinely care about this place's prosperity.
Very cozy Italian restaurant! Pasta was great. Wine slightly overpriced, but worth it for the vibe.
Our Family was there lastnight to Celebrate my Husband's 70th Birthday along with my In-Laws 70th Anniversary. This place is incredible. Great Food, Service along with Atmosphere. Highly recommend this place .
Owned by the Lamberti family, this place is Italian as it gets. Every member of the staff speaks Italian, great atmosphere, the menu is perfect. The drinks were really good! My wife had linguini and clams, and I had veal with crabmeat and capellini. The white wine sauce was very flavorful and fresh tasting with a hint of lemon and garlic. Fried calamari was cooked to perfection, I could eat that all day lol. Definitely would like to return again when we are craving for a good Italian meal. This place had a massive party going on in another room adjacent to the one we were in, had to be 30-40 people in there. And the drinks and food still came out in good time. It was a good time!
Went there for a work lunch with 15 people. Not one complaint at the whole table. Everything was delicious from the apps to the soup, the salads , main courses and desserts. Highly recommend!
I was blown away with this place! The food was amazing, the service was spectacular, but it was the price that was astonishing. A group of 7 had drinks, appetizers, dinner, and desserts for much less than you would spend at Carrabbas or Capitol Grille yet you would have the same experience. If you have ever thought about giving this place a chance I would highly recommend it!
I was there last night for a 60th birthday party. Everything was amazing!!! Lovely atmosphere. Service was top notch. Menu is huge! Food was amazing! Portions are very generous! The valet parking was cool too.
We brought a large party in after our daughter’s Christening. Maria was our server and she was great! Everyone loved their food. Food, service, atmosphere - top notch. Highly recommended for large parties!
The service is impeccable the owners are amazing. They have a well stocked bar so there's plenty of items to select from. There suggested cocktails are very balanced for even the pickiest drinker. I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant including how fresh the food tastes. If you haven't gone you need to put this on your next stop.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years but I'm finally writing a review based on recent visit. We needed a place to hold luncheon for after my father's funeral. We picked Luna Rossa for the food choices and by far more professional than the other restaurants we checked. Setting up was easy communicating with Giuseppe. Even on a non business day he made a call to make this all work. The luncheon itself we had 36 people..wine/beer, dinner rolls/salad/ fried zucchini, choice of 3 entrees, and dessert/ coffee. The room...food...service was all excellent. Owners/family Benny, Giuseppe and whole staff were also very kind sending their condolences to our family . Also nice when a business owner thanks you for doing business and shows appreciation. Highly recommend for lunch/dinner/bar/or banquet. Thanks again.
1st. time for me going here. It was a private event & the menu was limited. However, the food was great. Decorated beautifully. The drink menu was large & the champagne i like (Veuve) was only $15. more than I pay at liquor store. I will be going back to try the regular dinner menu, which looked extensively good.
Went to Luna Rossa Biagio Lamberti in Turnersville for dinner last night, and it was fantastic. It looks really nice in there since the remodel. We started with the antipasto as an appetizer, and they also brought out fresh bread and pizza bread for the table. Each entree comes with soup or a salad. Last nights soups were cream of mushroom and pasta fagioli, both of which everyone enjoyed. I ordered the chicken Abruzzi, which was in a brandy cream sauce, with asparagus and mushrooms, topped with mozzarella. It was served with capellini and was absolutely delicious. My husband got the veal Lucia, in a creamy white wine sauce, and said the veal was super tender. Both of my parents ordered off the section of the menu that I particularly liked, which listed multiple sauces, which you could customize with the type of pasta of your preference, and add either sausage, meatballs, chicken , or shrimp. One parent got gnocchi in the Monte Rosa sauce, which was a brandy blush sauce, and added meatballs. The other got linguini in vodka sauce and added sausage. The both commented on the large meat portions they gave for a small charge, and both really enjoyed their meals. Our waiter was fantastic as well. We can’t wait to go back!
I highly recommend Luna Rossa. I've been there a few times with family and friends and always treated very well. The food is absolutely amazing. I recommend the chicken parm or seafood. They both are great choices. You can't go wrong with anything you decide to order. The price is well worth it. Check it out, you won't have regrets.
Exceptional service! The staff make sure you are satisfied! The first drink I ordered was not to my liking. The bartender personally came to the table and asked what I like? He made me another drink that was perfect. Again, exceptional service. This restaurant is a must to dine. Shout out to our waitress Nicole!
Cozy restaurant with nice atmosphere and kind service. I tried the gnocchis and they were very tasty.
My favorite pasta dish here is the paccheri with sweet sausage and mushrooms. I also have throroughly enjoy the carbonara, and the calamari with fried shrimp and vegetables is always a great starter. You can't go wrong with any of the desserts either. There was a special once that was a ravioli dish with veal, sage, amaretto, and raisins that my mom is still raving about a year after having it. The only thing I haven't loved here was the riggatoni with eggplant, but only because the menu offers so many other choices that I happen to prefer. I have been here many times and I much prefer this restaurant to the crowded nightmare that is Elios around the corner. The owner here is extremely friendly as well, which is always a nice bonus. It's a long and narrow restaurant but it's very cozy and not at all claustrophobic inside. Great place to have a long lingering meal with friends.
I had the chicken breast with lemon sauce and it was so delicious! I would highly recommend this place even if it’s just to try this dish, it made my taste buds jump!
Solid food. Pasta, burrata, and salmon were great!
We have driven by there a lot of times, finally the wife want to check it out. This was the end of November and it was ok. Like it wants to be a chain restaurant. The decor was cute and service what it needed to be but the food was simply ok. Standard issue under seasoned tomato mozzarella salad. Over dressed Caesar. Mushroom soup and a mushroom pasta both ok but like they bought a base on added on. And the pizza was unmemorable. I don't think the prices were too bad but I hear the prices have gone up and they did have a table tent to announce a 3% credit card fee increase. US Foods, really? That's not a reason to head there again.
I'm not impressed by the food. Chicken parm with square Parm? Severs were nice, but the hostess was not welcoming. It was like we showed up in bathing suits. My handicapped companion had a hard time getting through the door. There wasn't anyone one to hold the door if needed. The atmosphere was LOUD. Unnecessary music base was thumping through the entire restaurant . Not returning any time soon.
Inedible. I ordered Tonnarelli Fatti in Casa con Trafila do Bronzo al Cacio e Pepe to go, and it was so bad I spit out the first bite and threw away the entire dish. The flavor was so bad that even the smell was off putting, so I sealed the container shut before putting it in the trash so it wouldn’t stick up my whole place. Also, the regular pasta was a weird texture and not properly cooked. The bread that comes on the side was very good but definitely would never eat here again.
Went for dinner tonight started off server asked if anyone wanted a drink. (We are not drinkers) service went downhill from there. I believe we ordered our appetizers my zucchini frits were very greasy and asked for bread told we couldn’t have any till we ordered our meal. Now we had dinner between 3-6 months ago there treated wonderfully given bread even before we ordered so why the change. Cause we didn’t order drinks! Unacceptable even though the food was good, doubt will be back
First and last time here. Hostess couldn’t have been more bored with her job. Waitress was pleasant, but acted like she was too good for her job. Salads were Pathetic…. Six pieces of lettuce, one cucumber sliced, two shreds of carrot, hardly any dressing. You should be embarrassed just because of your salad. Chicken parm?? That was not what chicken parm looks like. Kitchen was telling commands to the wait staff quite loudly across the restaurant. NOT IMPRESSED.
I came here with my boyfriend and had a very uncomfortable experience. When I ordered a drink, the waiter returned to ask for my ID. I’m 30 years old, and while I understand policies, no one else in the restaurant was asked for identification, which felt discriminatory. After I switched to a lemonade, our server brought the check without checking in on us or asking if we were finished. As the only Black customers there, it strongly felt like we were treated differently because of our race. We left and had a much better experience at another bar down the street. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. -management I hope you take this review seriously.
The appetizers and main courses lacked seasoning, with the salmon having a strong fishy taste and the filet mignon being overcooked. When I addressed the issue with our waiter, Enzo, he appeared frustrated, making the interaction uncomfortable. Later, when serving dessert, he handed me the plate in a manner that felt rushed and dismissive. The food was overpriced, though the gelato was decent. While the restaurant’s aesthetics were pleasing, the temperature was uncomfortably cold.
