Very clean. I'm a clean freak and even I was impressed. Workers changed gloves between handling register and then handing food (packaged by worker in back) to the customer. Great service. Good work employees!

I used to be addicted to this food while I was in college. Now I visit once in a while. Thank you for being there for me when I really need rice with Original beef with teriyaki sauce. It tastes the same as 20 years ago, and I am sure when it was first founded in the late 18th century in Japan.

My favorite from the local Yoshinoya locations because of the nice ambience and nice layout. And I also like the neighborhood around. No complaints regarding the staff, and the food has been good each time I went. I haven't been here in over half a year though I think, but I used to eat here often. These days for convenience I eat at a location closer to me.

Staff made my night, I love their udon noodles and they were all out when I arrived to pick up my order. They could tell I was pretty disappointed because I was asking if I could just cancel it. Unfortunately, after almost 10 years of coming to this location a few times a month, it had to end today. With the current worthy competition mushrooming up in the area, Yoshinoya may want to rethink their policy when they make a mistake on an order. One of the worst inconveniences of ordering takeout is to arrive home to find the order wrong and being asked to drive it all the way back to have it resolved. That should be at the customers' convenience of when they choose to waste more time and gas to get their meal done right. I arrive in the drive thru at 3:16 pm #198 and was excited that they are fearuring orange chicken as a new item. Of course I eagerly ordered it when Frank, the general manager offered it. I was hoping that my two guys would love it enough to where I would not have to drive to 2 different places after a long day when drive thru takeout is all I have energy for a dinner option. I live about 15 minutes away without traffic. I did not get home until almost 4 pm. After a long day at a marathon, I had a lot of items to unload. I open the containers to find that half of my order was wrong. I check the receipt-Frank had typed 2 large chicken bowls instead of orange chicken. I immediately call and was told by an Asian employee with an accent that I had to bring the food back. I reminded him that I am a long time customer and this would inconvenience me as I have a young son. He insisted that it was policy and asked me to bring it back. I informed him that since this mistake of theirs could not be resolved without inconveniencing my time and gas, that they had just lost a customer. He just said "okay". I drove in traffic and left half of the dinner home to grow cold. I get into the drive thru behind two cars and Diana had the nerve to ask if I wanted to go inside instead. There were two cars behind me and in front of me, why would I waste anymore time??? I get to the window and hand her the food and she tells me to wait while she took this other long order. I continue to hand the bag of food to the window the entire long order while trying my best to hold my composure. Then she asked me for the drink. Seriously people, what are you going to do with the returned food anyways? I again asked for my refund for just the returned items. She offers it to me in cash and said she hopes I return. Yeah, maybe if the issue was handled differently. Most businesses would much rather keep a customer's business than cause them to be inconvenienced for their mistake and having to throw the food away and lose money. Not a smart move. I went to look elsewhere for orange chicken for my son's dinner and will probably not be returning to a Yoshinoya anytime soon, probably after they have removed the item from their menu. But as for this location, never again due to disappointment with the way they handle their mistakes. There was heavy traffic on my way home so I got home around 5pm. In the time it took me to go through all this, I could have just found the energy to cook my own family meal.

I go here cuz it's convenient staff is friendly nice food is good but I noticed they give me you smaller portions now then they forget to put my green onions 😵

This is the "The Better One" than all of its peers in the vicinity many with urine stench coming from its kitchen area and employees acting like its a normal smell. THIS ONE IS NOT LIKE THAT! One thing stood out like a sore thumb that they were playing K-Pop bgm I didn't expect that from here it made the place feel hip and trendy just because. Good Parking spaces always left for customers!

Great service here! Angel, in particular is very helpful and friendly. I don't like the beef, that's why 4 stars in the food category, but otherwise the food was great! There's a weird smell that seems to linger in the restaurant. I can't exactly figure it out, what it is, but that's why I gave 3 stars for atmosphere. Otherwise the atmosphere was good.

Food quality and quantity was good for the price but the boba had way too much ice and wasn't even full, and they couldn't adjust the sugar level. Get what you pay for, i guess. Also the dining area was closed way earlier than their closing time.

Asked for extra teriyaki sauce and none. The chicken was so bland compared to the one on Western Ave. A third as busy as the one on Western. Will never go there again.

At this Yoshida location every time I go inside, it smells really bad like sewer water. Restroom has no ventilation, fan needs repairing. The smell comes out to the entire food room. It's hard to eat when you feel nauseous because of the smell.

Prices have gone up as quality has gone down. Used to be a quick easy spot for good takeout. Now the chicken is really dry, fish is almost laughably bad, they removed options to nickel and dime more. No Not-So-Fried Rice? That was the best part :( All while prices have increased ~50%+. In the price bracket they've put themselves in now, there're far better options.

First, can you guys hire a guy who isn't high at work. He can't work the boba machine, so they give me a soda instead. Then he gives me a combo bowl with a few strands of beef and no chicken. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got home.

It’s 10:23pm and I just walked in this place and they told me they don’t got beef for the fact there already closing… they close at 12pm and they were turning away customers by saying that crazy Yoshinoya you gotta do better…

On Oct 4th 2024. I came to yoshinoya because I was extremely hungry and had some coupons that was given to me to use. I came to this yoshinoya and they opened there doors at 10:11 when originally they were supposed to open at 10. Employees were still stocking and so unprofessional. Jenny the store manager said the system was down which was not true they were late and unprofessional and when i asked Jenny if I can get my food cooked a little more she said this is the only temperature they can do so I walked out and left it at that but all employees were so unprofessional and that morning team need a lot more training as well as management that respects there customers wants

The girl in the front is not dressed for work, didn't say hi or anything for at least 5 minutes, just don't think she wants to work. Bad service!! The veggies were under cooked, some were soggie and was mixed with over cooked batch of vegetables.

I recently ordered the a Tokyo Fried Chicken (pic attached) and a Bowl (no pic, threw it out) . After walking home, I realize it was greasy, burnt, and inedible. I returned to Yoshinoya and requested a refund for the chicken, which was granted though there's a wait period. So still waiting. The guy at the counter apologized.

Not sure if it’s the food from here but we ordered here on Saturday afternoon 4/12/25 I ate it Sat. night and wife ate it on Sunday. I started feeling sick, cold sweat and diarrhea on Sunday afternoon and wife is feeling sick and diarrhea today Tuesday 4/15/25 This is the only common food we ate together this weekend. This is the last straw, No more yoshinoya for us

At the Yoshinoya located on Beverly and Normandie, the cashier doesn't have a good attitude and when you ask for extra condiments, she doesn't give them to you in a nice way.

The cashier name jeanne v doesn’t wash her hands after grabbing money. I work in a restaurant too and I would never do that, I saw her counting a counter today and then grabbing the food from the customer that is unacceptable. I would never come back to this place

This is the worst location!! The portions are horrible here. Time and time again, the amount of food you get does not equal to the size. If I wasn’t in a rush, I would have literally asked for a regular size bowl and put my “large” in it to show them what is being served. As I see, this location is doing this to everyone. If you have the time go to the one on Melrose/Normandie. Everything is so much better there. What a waste of money !!!!
