Everything about this place is inviting and nice. The food is absolutely delicious and the view of the water is so pretty. It's not expensive which is nice. All the staff is really nice. The breakfast food is really good and it comes out really quickly. I highly recommend coming here to try the food.

I love the park diner. My friends and I are happy with the service and the food. Wish they had their tomato,bacon, cheese soup everytime I go in, it's gluten free and wonderful. My friends go for different meals but me I'm the liver girl. Been 5 times in 4 weeks and only had to send it back once because it was too well done.

Park Diner has the best Western Omelette I've ever had. It was delicious with a generous portion and the home fries were cooked perfectly. My sister had the blueberry pancakes and they were light, fluffy, and packed with berries. Friendly, fast service too. Great place for breakfast.

I had been to Park Diner in the past many times but always for breakfast or club sandwich. This time I decided to try something different and get a meal and ordered the Lemon Chicken and I was blown away at how delicious this was and will definitely be back to order this again and again. Absolutely delicious!

Some of the best diner food I’ve had anywhere, and the view of the river is nice. Food is a smidge higher priced than typical diner food, but you get what you pay for here!

We stopped here on a road trip, and I'm glad we did. The initial attraction was that the diner is right on the Susquehanna River, with a pleasant view of Binghamton. The food was great, and came out quickly even though the place was packed with Sunday brunches. I would definitely stop in the next time we travel this way.

I love park diner with every ounce of my body. I love coming here specifically on the weekends for brunch with my friends or people visiting me in Binghamton :) it has such a warm, and cozy feeling— one where it feels like the waitresses wrap their arms around you each time they ask if you want a refill on your coffee. I always get one of their omelettes with home fries (never disappoints)

If you are looking for a great local place for breakfast. Look no further! Hot food served with piping hot coffee. View of the river through the giant windows just makes it that much better. When I lived in Binghamton it was always a nice place to go to. Right by the river there as well. Always got to get a wonderful view. The employee's were always nice, & respectful. The pricing was pretty good. When family came there to visit they liked going to Park Diner as well.

Great food at a reasonable price. I went for a fee music performance. Seating isn't optimal for viewing performing groups on the sides of tables looking away from center stage, but sound is great every where.

I recently went there to have lunch + watch the river flow. In 1966 got engaged there to the love of my life. We celebrated with apple pie with cheese and coffee. 46 years of marriage. God took him home 2012. Thank you !

I was in Binghamton for a short visit. I have to admit, the place didn't look impressive & I really wasn't sure what to expect. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the waitress Gwen who kinda resembled Katie Holmes lol. She was pleasant & attentive. Our food was out quickly & was really good! The prices were very affordable as well. I would recommend for sure.

Ask for a table to sit in the room with the view of a the dam. There isn't one menu item here that isn't made to PERFECTION. I highly recommend the French onion soup and the Sautéed entrees.

Typical fare at this location, a good spot for food.

It was good. I had a fish sandwich that was quite good. The onion rings were good although still second to one other establishment. I liked the iced tea that tasted fresh. Service was good but not intrusive. The view of the river was quite pleasant. I would definitely return.

One of the best views I have ever experienced in a diner, this was a huge positive for the experience. It overlooks a large river, with an expansive view of the area. The food was also extremely good, although I felt like the selection was slightly limited. Definitely plenty to choose from overall though. There is also mold in the vents from what I can see, which definitely looks unpleasant. Besides that, this place is extremely good.

It is a very clean diner. The staff was wonderful. I had a window seat overlooking the river. The food came out quick, fresh and hot. I had a Greek omelette, home fries, Italian toast and an order of hash. It was all very good. I went at lunch time, they were very busy, but there was no wait.

Honestly I'm shocked giving this good of a review after getting charged twice. Some confusion about the lunch specials ,and a third party waitress not waiting on me was involved. So the answer for her was to add the double error and say its one bill now instead of being charged for one lunch special. It was small Greek salad with lemon chicken. I was charged for a Greek salad then separate charged for lemon chicken lunch special now $ 18.00 lol 😆

Would have loved Eggs Benedict (they don't serve them, which is why they lost a star), but they did accommodate on a French toast breakfast sandwich for an uncharted. Food was good, service was on point, view was amazing

Great place, easy to get a table for 5 at 10am on a Sunday. Wish they had some scrapple though, only thing that kept it from 5 starts on the food category. Service was good and quick.

Wonderful setting above the river and waterfall. The Diner is a nice place for a meal and service is excellent and friendly. The food is uneven. Omelettes were great, pancakes ok, burger... did not rise to that level. The decor does not take full advantage of the positioning of the place and the space could use a bit of a modern touch to maximize exposure to the river.

Been going here for years, so I figured it's time to leave a review. The service and the atmosphere is great. The view alongside the river is nice and the staff frequently check up on you, even when they are busy. The food, however, has gone down in quality in recent years. I've never had food that was prepared poorly or inadequately, but the quality of dishes of the same price range has varying degrees of quality in terms of both taste and ingredients. If you go here frequently, you'll know which dishes are great (such as the Gyro) and which dishes are not as great (Fish n' Chips). That being said, all of the breakfast items I've had there has been great!

The diner has a hometown atmosphere with excellent views of the river. The kids enjoyed the cheeseburger, French fries, mozzarella sticks and spaghetti and meatballs. The roast beef sandwich was perfectly made. The Greek salad was fresh and excellent. The spinach pie had too many cooked onions and was a huge portion. The view of the river is beautiful while eating, however I am repeatedly told that when I want a refill on my hot chocolate that it's not free, which I am well aware of since I'm not a coffee drinker nor do I expect it to be free. It's even caught the attention of my various guests that it's also told to me with an attitude, however my guests will drink 4cups of coffee and they'll give them their free refills with a smile. I would hate to think it's a racial thing, but after the consistent treatment over the last 4yrs, race is the only thing it could possibly be *I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated and have worked in the service industry for years. I'm not a problem customer and always tip 20% or more*

This is precooked bacon one can easily purchase from a box in the grocery store. It is NOT what one might expect from a diner. That makes me sad. The home fries and eggs are what make me give more than 1 single star. The service is great and our server was nice. The coffee was ok.... DEFINITELY disappointed by the bacon. Yuck.

Totally recommend going here for the breakfast options. Especially the Greek Omelette... So much yum. If you want something else though... its a crap shoot. Some things are great. Some things are just not worth eating.

We ordered the fried calamari , veggie omelette w cheese and banana pancakes and with strawberries and whipped cream on top. My favorite was the omelette as it is was literally the best i prob had in Binghamton. The calamari was a bit too crunchy and too much for the small calamari they used. The pancakes were okay but they weren’t as soft and fluffy as u would want ur pancakes. They were a bit stretchy almost like a mochi, wouldn’t get again but the waitress was so so nice and offered to add whipped cream for us.

It's been a while since our last visit and it looks like they have remodeled the window lined dining sections. The view of the river below and the further downtown area was quite splendid especially on a nice weather day. However, there are only a few tables by the window and they were taken first most of the time. The food and service was decent but nothing exceptional.

Had breakfast here and got the Skillet. It's 2 eggs, with veggies and sausage over potatoes and a side of rye toast. The rye toast here was good in comparison to another local diner. The scrambled veggies/sausage mix was underwhelming. It just felt like they threw it in a pan, sauteed it a couple of times, and poured it on the plate, I got clumps of onions and peppers bunched together. It wasn't mixed well. Potatoes were overcooked and did not have a crisp to it. Eggs were perfectly over medium. Coffee was good. So food overall is average, not spectacular, but it was what is expected for an average diner. The apple pie was good, but it is served cold. I prefer it warm with ice cream. Nice thick crust and classic apple filling. Service was average, friendly service. Although it was only 2 servers running on a Monday holiday, they managed well and made sure we had what we needed. Ambience, interior, clean and bright, somewhat modern/old school diner. The view was beautiful, it was sunny when we went, so that helped create a relaxing and gorgeous breakfast. I would definitely say it's a great spot for catching up with friends and family. Great view, good service and average food. I would come back again for sure!

Diane ordered the baked scallops with rice, mixed veggies, salad and fries (strange for scallops). Based on the other reviews she felt comfortable with the order. The scallops we're overcooked and chewy, to much lemon and no butter flavor, the rice was ok but one look at the veggies and she said no. The salad was just on the verge of being wilted but was edible. All seemingly done by a small time short order cook. The fries were fresh, hot and good. I had the club sandwich (which doesn't come with cheese, a first) and fries. The sandwich was good with crispy bacon and real mayonnaise. The toast could have been toasted a little longer but overall I enjoyed it. I don't think the iced tea was fresh brewed as is tasted like Gold Peak out of a soda dispenser. I think if you stay with the simple items (burgers, breakfast ect..) you probably would be alright but I would worry about the higher priced menu items that require a skilled touch.

I don't wanna say food poisoning, but definitely would advise others to be wary of any menu items that are not cooked to order (stuffed grape leaves, cold salads). I am very sick after eating here. I suppose I could have randomly contracted a stomach flu, but the stuffed grape leaf that I ate here was of questionable quality (the texture was very slimy and tasted weird, not like other stuffed grape leaves I have had in the past).

There is literal mold on the walls near the ceiling. The water coming into the soda fountain dispenser is NOT FILTERED and comes straight from the river. The chairs are tiny and wobbly. The food is disgusting. A typical greek run diner. Don't go here. It's gross.

Both the food and service at this place leave a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t feed my dog what they try to pass off as food. They should be ashamed. It’s also very overpriced...$28 for a meal? Are you kidding? You will NOT get what you pay for if you go to this place.
