The food was better than expected with all of this ingredients being exceptional. I got there Irish Kevin's corn beef sandwich and the hand made corn beef was great, the only problem was there was not enough meat on the sandwich. I would have rather paid more and had meat with every bite. Additionally, their bread was fried in butter perfectly, however mine had so much butter it overwhelmed the flavors of the sandwich. If I have to have an overpowering flavor, butter is not the worst, I just think it would be a better product if they balanced it more. I think they should also give you some pickled either on it, or on the side. Everything was fried perfectly, the oil tasted clean and overall it was a good experience. The sweet potato fries were great when they were hot, as well as the onion rings.

We stopped at Irish Kevin's with some friends for some food and a few drinks after an outing. This was a Thursday night and the establishment was not very busy. On this visit we sat at a booth but were asked to come up to the bar to order our food and drinks. Not a big deal as our party was fairly big and there would have been a lot of split checks. On this visit we were looking for simple food and appetizers were half price, so we ordered the chicken tenders app with the thick cut fried potato chips and honey mustard dressing, a side of Mac and cheese, and ordered a round of drinks (side bar: Jack and Cokes are served in a tall draft beer glass here, which is a super positive for me). The food took some time to get to us considering it wasn't busy , but it arrived hot. VERY hot. The chicken tenders tasted good, but I was a bit disappointed in the rest. The thick cut fried potato chips were okay but were salted heavily. The honey mustard dressing skewed quite a bit to the mustard side of the spectrum while I prefer my honey mustard the opposite. The Mac and cheese was probably the most disappointing, being very plain and having no real flavor. As far as bar food is concerned, I put the quality of the food at par. Now, keep in mind we did not touch any of the Irish food that Irish Kevin's has on the menu! The bangers and mash, for example, sounded great but we just weren't feeling it on this visit. There are plenty of other reviews that rave about the Irish food and I would have no problem giving Irish Kevin's another shot to see how they do with a proper Irish course. Overall, our visit to Irish Kevin's was positive. We were able to get dinner on the cheap and while there were some disappointing aspects to the food it wouldn't keep me from coming back to try the Irish selections.

Neighborhood bar and grill. Very accessible and staff are friendly. I had the reuben with house chips. Chips were good and sweet potato fries were excellent...crispy on outside and soft inside. Reuben was made with in house smoked meat. Unfortunately they don't shave it and stack sandwich...disappointing. made with small chunks that were tough and sandwich was greasy. Not recommended. Fish was apparently good. Servings are generous. Prices reasonable.

In town for a week. Wanted a bar to watch the NBA FINALS. Found this place near the hotel, on Gmaps. Large Grungy neighborhood bar. About a dozen tables & nice long bar. Stage area for bands (none tonight). Must not be a sports bar customer base, only 8 people in the bar. One large TV screen. My friend had a pork sandwich & onion rings . He said it was very good. I had Buffalo Chicken dip. "Blue cheese, sour cream, mixed with hot sauce & shreded chicken and large bowl of seasoned chips". All I could taste was salt. No heat, no BC taste, tiny bits of chicken. The waitresses noticed I was not eating and asked if there was something wrong with the food. I nicely told her it was way over seasoned with salt and had no heat. She immediately offered to take it back, no charge. We ordered another round of beers and watched the rest of the game. I would come back on a night they had a band and try that sandwich my friend had.

We had been at this place before probably 4 or 5 years ago when it went by a different name. Stumbled in on it only because of a road closure on our way to a hockey game. The food was actually pretty good, and the service wasn't bad, but the interior of the place just needed to be really cleaned well. I just didn't feel like a clean place inside at all. We will try again in the future.

I like this place. The bar is very cool; great atmosphere especially this time of year. Good place to hang on the West Side. Bartender was not very pleasant and after an over $100 bartab we were okay paying, not one round on the house. Not that I was expecting it however a bit more pleasantries during the double Bourbons we bought almost every time we went to the bar, would have gone a long way.

The food is terrible. I got the Irish Nachos and something didn't taste right about the bowl of muck you get with some house cut chips. My wife got the Irish perogies and it was a small portion with definitely frozen perogies. Totally not worth the money we spent. At least the bartender poured heavy on the drinks.

This was advertised as a Reuben sandwich, yet it contained almost no corned beef. When a sandwich carries the business’s name, it should reflect quality and consistency—something customers would want to recommend to friends and family and order again. Unfortunately, this fell far short of expectations. I was genuinely disappointed, as I had hoped for a much better experience.

Very disappointed in the food, chicken sandwich was black on the outside. Sweet potato fries were soggy. The food should have never been served. We were told sorry the oil wasn't changed..
