How much can go wrong? A female came out to the counter and told the waiting customers she is the manager . She said the cook called out today, and she is doing the best she can to keep up with orders. Soon after that, once back in the kitchen, she could be seen and heard saying, not quoting, she is loosing her sanity. She tried calling others in to help, and nobody answered their phone. She said she doesn't know what she is doing, so that is the assumed reason for the delayed food. She told her coworker was upset seeing customers come in and walkout because of the long line. She did apologize to us for the delay. I waited 42 minutes for my order. The Mgr, while out front by the counter asked what orders we were waiting for. I showed her my receipt, and she said that order of chicken will take 15 minutes. When the order was handed to me, the lady apologized and thanked me for the order. Food delivery services have a block on orders from Popeyes because of the slow service. I was talking to a lady picking up an order and after waiting 20+ minutes, left. She doesn't get paid for waiting.

Not good. Bun falling apart and soggy when I got the sandwich. I ordered a large mac and cheese, but it came in two small containers that weren’t even half full :( so basically i paid 6.99 for 1 small. everything was lukewarm and i ate right away in the restaurant.

Let me tell you a story, a saga of inadequacy and utter garbage service. My review is a one star review only because I am not allowed to go lower. Order two combos and a drink on the side, the drinks for the combos did not arrive, nor did any of the sauces. This store is living breathing ad for KFC and any chicken place in the area. They were good at one point but they have quickly nose dived into the cesspit of fast food. I don't know what happened to the old staff but the new crew should be fired en masse and you should start over.

I went one day at dinner time and was told it wasn’t enough chicken for my family meal and I would have to wait 30-35 mins for more chicken. Also didn’t have no sides except fries and mash potatoes. They had no soda, lemonade nor soda. They offered me ice water with my meal but was charged for the two drinks I wanted. Got to the window to express my concerns and was giving a very hard time about my refund. They took my drink order at the speaker but was told at window they didn’t have anything but water available so of course I should of been issued a refund automatically when I told them no to ice water but after going back and forth for almost two mins th manger came to the window and still try to explain so eventually I said I didn’t want none of the order and the drive thru window was shut in my face and then I pulled off. Very rude staff , very bad customer service just overall bad service and experience. Do Not Recommend !!!!

EVERY TIME i order from this place they short me on chicken pieces. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. $42+ for 12 pieces and two large orders of fries and when I get home, I've got 11 pieces and cold, limp fries. I drive from Endicott, so it's not as easy as running back up there. BEWARE.

This place is horrible classic chicken has absolutely no flavor, asked for breast and wings one time gave me leg and thigh. Another time asked for breast guy gives me a small piece and said that’s what they delivered to us still had no flavor to it! Heard the chicken spot across street are same owner’s maybe they buying chicken from somewhere else definitely don’t have no taste at all. Got new paint job mines well shut down definitely don’t taste like Popeyes

The price of food includes the cost of sauces. But omg they go out of the way to be stingy with the sauce. I ordered a 9 piece family meal. Family of 4. Yet it only comes with 2 sauces. Asking them is a joke. They’re so stingy. I’ll just be stingy with my cash and make fried chicken at home then.

I watched the owner berate an elderly guy who drove 45 minutes and was screwed out of a good portion of his order while eating my food in a dirty restaurant. The owner used a young employee as intimidation on the old man. Yet after spending $60+ on my food I was given 1 seasoning packet. After I left the restaurant my 3 kids and I all ended up sick for the next 24 hours, Dr says most likely food poisoning. They were short on plates, napkins, original chicken,and more ..... I recommend skipping...

I miss the old crew that used to be here. The food was consistent and every one was so nice. The last couple visits.. not so great.. We went through the drive thru several days ago - no cars in line. Sat at the speaker box for several minutes before saying hello is anyone there - no answer. As we drove away , an employee by the window just waved to us. Ordered some food tonight… The young lady who served us had such a bad attitude. I understand you can have a bad day but I work customer service and would never treat someone as poorly as we were tonight. Gave us a partial wrong order but we didn’t even bother going back to get it corrected. The only thing saving this place is the food is still decent - IF they actually have it in stock.

I don't usually leave public reviews that are negative, but this location is regularly out of sauces and menu items, but does not remove them from the menu to prevent customers from ordering. Every order I've received from this location has been incorrect somehow -usually missing sauces or rub on the chicken. They've not done anything to fix any of the problems. In trying to contact the store over the phone about problems (it's a 20 min drive back to the store), the line is always busy and I suspect it might be kept off the hook. In trying to contact corporate about on-going issues, I've never been able to reach a person and the chat bot simply closes the ticket as "resolved," with no acknowledgement or resolution. The chicken alone is usually hot and delicious, and the dining room always clean, so that's a plus. I won't be returning. There's lots of great, local chicken joints that deserve our business.

This is without question the worst drive-thru in Binghamton. The quality, service, and food have gone completely downhill since the new management and staff took over — and they make it very apparent they’re cost-cutting owners and employees. We always ask for extra sauce on the Signature Hot Wings because they’ve started skimping, but instead of adding actual sauce, they pour in cups of oil — it’s disgusting and clearly a cheap shortcut. The food is greasy, flavorless, and has made me sick on more than one occasion. The staff are rude, don’t tell you what they’re out of until you’re already paying, and the drive-thru runs like no one cares. Multiple complaints have been made (including one today, 10/13/2025), and I’ve reached out to the Better Business Bureau and the Broome County Department of Health regarding this location. Avoid this Popeyes — they’re cutting every corner, and it shows in every bite and every interaction.

Absolutely terrible experience. There’s a reason this place is always empty and now I know why. The guy at the window literally held onto my credit card for over five minutes. He handed me my food, then went right back to chatting and laughing with his coworkers while my card just sat there on the counter, numbers facing up. I had to ask him three times to give it back. When I finally said something, he got defensive and started arguing with me. I told him, “That’s unprofessional — when a customer hands you their card, you run it and give it back. You don’t just leave it sitting out.” It honestly felt shady, especially since I’ve seen videos online about people copying card numbers from cameras. The way he reacted, angry, defensive, and careless, made me wonder if that’s exactly what was happening. I stayed polite the whole time, but it was just uncomfortable and sketchy. I left immediately and will never come back. Unprofessional, rude, and downright suspicious. Stay far away from this place.

EDIT 10/10/25- And would you look at that, a CLEARLY ai generated apology because the owners are just that lazy. Called it! Had to delete my last review to make a new one. Something has changed here. New ownership? None of the same employees. Coming in, there wasn’t a soul in here even at lunch. There are literally 7 lights strobing off and on like a dance party. I ordered my food and was told that Popeyes no longer has honey (well that sucks. Since when?). As I went to sit down I noticed that there was water all over the floor and bench in the eating area as there was a fast drip coming from the ceiling. I went to tell the employee “there is a leak” and she did not understand a single word of what I said. She needed to get the manager to come speak English. I repeated to her there was a leak and there was a lot of water. She acknowledged me that she already knew there was a leak. (So no bucket, sign, anything?) After suggesting she should probably put at least a sign out she did put out a bunch. Chicken seemed fresh enough but the fries were soggy and barely warm (it’s lunch time, come on now). Biscuits were fine. However when I just sat and watched you could tell that none of the employees spoke English and they had to have the manager/owner take the orders inside AND the drive thru. All while the other bad attitude manager just sat in his office and didn’t lift a finger to help. This place is doomed if they don’t overhaul. It wasn’t long ago that there was great staff and this place was amazing. Not sure what happened, but there will be a call to corporate and it will be a while before I go back again. Also you can tell that the owner doesn’t care because of all the bad reviews over the past couple months there has been no changes. Just AI generated apologies that mean squat.

Don't eat here! This was the most skimpy, tiny, disgusting and expensive food I've had in a long time. I rarely eat fast food but a few times a year I get a craving for it. The wings are no bigger than my index finger and were swimming in an inch of grease. The chicken sandwich looked like someone sat on it. The tiny chicken fingers were the size of shoe string fries. At a $50 spend this place genuinely sucks! I would never go back here.
