Best Jamaican jerk sauce in Birmingham. Loaded fries are perfect every time and quesadillas are fantastic. The Philly egg roll is good but needs a sauce or cheese to dip it in!

The food is FIRE. So delicious, made with love, and comforting in the way only Southern food can be. Usually I get their hot lemon pepper catfish plate (also fire) with Philly fries and my hubby gets the jerk chicken quesadilla (also, also fire—seeing a pattern here?) but today they had a special loaded tater so you know I had to snag it. I opted for the seafood potato and y’all… I am in HEAVEN. Fish and shrimp doused in this creamy, buttery sauce with the cheesy potato… MMM! And to wash it all down, the Locomotive Lemonade was a stellar choice as well. It’s like the best fruit punch ever. Everything on their menu is a hit—fish, wings, chicken, THE OKRA 🤤 you’ll never make a bad choice at A-Train.

My first time going in there a couple of days ago picking up an order for door dash but the aromas coming from it stayed in my car, my nasal passages and in my spirit. I had to tell my youngest daughter about it and I knew that I had to go back to try it out for myself and My God😊 I left satisfied. I didn't know about what type of fries to get and the nice lady at the register suggested bacon ranch and cheese fries 🥰 The best I've ever had! And for the drink I don't remember the names but I ordered two different kinds one tasted like lemon and the other was orange in color. The service was awesome the time was awesome and the environment was absolutely beautiful! There was a gospel song on called "he knows my name!" The same song played the last day I saw my mom with her eyes closed for the very last time! It was then I knew that they put this place put their feet and their ankles in their food because my mom could cook with plenty of flavor and when I tell you I was biting my fingers to get the sauces and bacon off as much as I could while driving home, I couldn't wait. I said my prayers before I ate and all I can say is God is Good and so is The food that was prepared 😇😁! I highly recommend 💯% full and satisfied!!

Stopped by for lunch takeout and ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, fries and wings. The cheesesteak was terrific, will get it again. Fries and wings were great as well. The food came quickly and hot.

The guy that made my food said it was made with love, and he wasn't lying! These are literally the BEST wings that you are going to find. The staff that work on the food truck are always nice and attentive. They ensure that your order is made correctly and I love it!

Day two of my Birmingham Restaurant Week food reviews and this one is on A-Train Station. Originally I came here to order the polish sausage but when I got to the window to order it I was told they were out and were trying to get more. So I ended up putting in a different order. When I went back to pick up my order the guy had just walked up with fresh sausages and I was heart broken. But I will be sure the next time I comeback to this food truck I will be getting that polish sausage for sure! So let's get into what I order. I went ahead and got the bacon cheese burger that came with peppers and onions with white american cheese and a side of seasoned fries. If you saw my review yesterday you see what I'm already about to talk about. Once again a burger with bacon bits instead of actual bacon strips. I don't know if this is a trend or a cutting cost thing but I just don't like it. However the burger itself was pretty good it was a thick patty that was well seasoned but there was a seasoning I couldn't quit figure out what it was but it had a weird lingering flavor I just did not like and for that this burger gets a 7.5/10. Really good burger but idk whatever that flavor was threw it off for me. The seasoned fries were good. Crispy and salty crinkle cut fries what more can you ask for? 9/10 These guys also had a Philly Cheese steak and Philly Cheese Fries that my buddy Rashad Caldwell and man when I tell you he inhaled it in less then 5 seconds which left me to believe it was very good and from what I saw it looked very good. My other buddy Stati Jones had their Philly Cheese Steak Quesadilla and here's what he had to say about it... "Loved it! A great concept. I love both Quesadillas and Philly Cheese Steaks. Combining them was a great idea! 8/10" Go check these guys out they are putting out great food and I can't wait to go back so I can finally get the elusive Polish Sausage lol!

Yo! I stumbled upon this spot and I'm so glad! I had a shrimp quesadilla, wings, and Cajun ranch cheese fries. Everything was fresh, it was cooked when the order was placed. The quesadilla has some type of sauce on it that makes you keep eating. Cause it's unique. The fries were top tier and the wings were hitting as well. I high recommend going. I do recommend that they give more fries with their combos.

Well this was my first time ordering here. Staff was very polite. I came in with several questions and Begin telling the young lady that I was on a no-sodium to low sodium diet. And asked her if I could get my whitening fish prepared with no salt seasoning or maybe fried plain. She said no they don't have that option so I ordered a salad with my whitening fish plate. My salad was delicious however my three-piece whitening fish was very salty. I only had a chance to eat one piece. I took the other two pieces home to my brother and my mom who are on a regular diet. They also stated that the fish was a little salty to their taste but it was very delicious. So I was a little disappointed because I didn't get to finish my meal and I really wanted a fish plate. I wish that I had the option of frying my fish with no seasoning or plain like chicken wings is prepared in most places.😞☹️

I was so hoping that I would be satisfied with this restaurant as I grow up in the area. But a 30 minute wait for a fish plate is ridiculous. Then the fries were old and over cooked. Now the sweet older lady tried to resolve my complaint by cooking the fries over. I was truly thankful but she obviously needs someone else to help her with the cooking.

I ordered through Uber eats. 1st time eating here and probably won’t again unless I am in the restaurant. I asked for the Catfish to be well done as it can be slimy when the filets are thick. Well the edges were crispy but the center of the fish was thick and slimy as well as being too salty. I love very well seasoned food but this was too much.

I ordered jerk chicken quesadillas and Cajun ranch fries & they was DISGUSTING 🤮 -0/10 the fries was 3 days and 4 nights old with a dab of ranch! I’m very pissed 😡 I called to speak with someone an no answer ofcourse!!! I will never spend my coin here again 🙄
