Had a birthday lunch with a large group of family. They were very accommodating, the food came out hot, fast and delicious. The view was great!! My grandkids loved watching all the planes flying in and out.

Great food! Everything tasted great and am looking forward to coming back. Owner spoke to us and was carrying out food to tables, very good to see. Right by the airport and watching airplanes take off is very entertaining for the kids, but on opposite side of road so there’s some vehicular traffic which makes it a little noisy outside.

The experience was positive. The food was good. If I had to suggest an improvement, I would suggest making the biscuits a bit smaller. The size of the biscuits overwhelm the sausage, eggs and other delicious foods. Nice environment! Thank you!

Stopped in for lunch. Was a little surprised at the prices - in a good way! Atmosphere / view is great, and the food was delicious (The Warthog burger, fries and pickle fries) and plentiful. Will definitely be back to try the Maverick!

Came to the restaurant after visiting the McWayne Center in Bham with the entire family thinking my 19 month old daughter would like seeing the planes take off. That was definitely fun to get that experience but beyond that was the quality of the food, the customer service and even the kids to-go boxes were shaped as airplanes! Truly was a fantastic experience and we’ll be going back.

Great burgers! I had the brisket and the cinnamon roll pork rinds!The owner Randy came and spoke with us for a little while and told us all about the history of the business. Great guy, really enjoyed getting to hear his story and loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant. He told us every picture on the wall was given by a customer and came with a story.

There were 8 of us visiting for lunch. We placed our orders (4 separate)at the counter, got our drinks. The food was cooked to order, so it was fresh & hot. Our table ordered a variety of choices; I had The Chinook (Rueben) and it came with a side, onion straws, my husband ordered The Shug (Burger in Texas toast) both our meals were really good and large portion, We both had to take 1/2 our meals home. The atmosphere is really neat, being beside the airport, we even saw several planes taking off. We will definitely go back!

The review speak for themselves. This restaurant is amazing. I came here after being starving from being at the airport all morning and had never heard of this place. Great customer service. I highly suggest getting the brisket burger. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in Birmingham. The brisket was surprisingly juicy fresh and the barbecue sauce was really tasty.

The food was TOP Tier! The Menu names were clever with a ton of variety! After receiving, the food the Owner was so kind and friendly. This is the best place I have been in over 15 years. I highly recommend bringing the family out even if you are not expecting to fly! You also have bonus of watching Airplanes Takeoff and land!

During a busy lunch service, we waited about fifteen minutes for our orders to be delivered to our table. The chicken salad on croissant with honey and pecans was delicious. The Reuben was so large, half was saved for another meal. The breaded, fried onion straws were a scrumptious side. Highly recommend the peanut butter pie as a delectable dessert. Reasonably-priced combos in an environment offering views of arriving planes. Check out this breakfast/lunch only local business! You’ll be glad you did.

This was my families first experience here. Overall we all had a really good time. We saw plenty of planes take off and land. There was plenty of seating outside, some inside. Our boy had a lot of fun. The food was delicious and brought to us in a timely manner. I thought it was all neat. We'll be back again.

This place deserves 10 stars if I could give it! Found this place off a social media site this morning and decided to give it a shot for lunch! I got the Ruben with fries, Onion straws, and the Pretzels with beer cheese and none of those options disappointed! The proximity to the airport makes it a really cool spot to watch planes land and take off! Such a cool atmosphere that almost makes you feel like you’re in a pilots lounge! With all that being said, this place has gained a regular for as long as it stands!

This is such a cool spot. Overlooking the runway, able to watch the planes takeoff and land. Cool memorabilia, great food, and awesome service. Had the Tarmac Sandwich and side salad and it was delicious. Definitely a place to keep coming back to.

Fun experience and great food! We look our grandson to lunch here as a treat to watch the planes take off and land. He had a blast and we had a delicious lunch. The hamburgers are great! The toppings were fresh and the fries were thin cut steak fries. Yum!

Such a cool concept, the inside of the restaurant has interesting flight-related photos, decore and memorabilia. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The burger I had (The Maverick? I believe it was called) really came with 3 sides. The mac&cheese as well as the onion straws on top PLUS the side. No one was disappointed in their food and every plate was clean. The photos do NOT do justice to how good the food is.

First time coming and WOW, what a great spot! The food was great and the atmosphere very unique. I had the Red Flag burger and was well proportioned and was more than I could eat! Have to bring my wife here for the outdoor experience watching the planes taking off.

Food is amazing and delicious. Everything is fresh and made to order. Everything Candace suggested was spot on. Pictured below are the JP brisket dogs, Maverick and the Warthog with fries and Mac and cheese as the sides. AGAIN FOOD IS GOOD. Wish they were open later to catch them more often.

Four stars are for the location. On a recent visit here, my friend and I stopped here for breakfast. For two omelets with cheese grits, one order of toast and two drinks, we spent nearly $40. The food was average at best, and some items listed on a menu I viewed online were not available or the menu had not been updated. Service was good and as we sat, our food was brought to our table. The grits came out way before the omelet and the cheese never really melted. While this was neither the best nor worst food I've eaten, the views of the airport were unmatched. I watched several small jets and several commercial flights take off. We opted to sit outside and brave the summer bugs. I want to go back just for the view and to try the lunch menu.
