The good: Best oxtails I've had, only on Sunday The bad: They never list it on Doordash. I'm tired of calling to tell them it's not listed on Doordash for me to order, if I'm lucky to get someone on the phone. I don't care about customer service, that's how good the oxtails are but if you're like me and have to rely on getting it delivered try BBQ Sams, Southern Caribbean or Tropical Grill. Definitely not as good but at least they're listed on Doordash to order.

I just called to place an order to pick up got hung up on and my daughter called back and the person answered the phone had an attitude. To be a black own business I try to support but I can keep my money and go elsewhere. I ordered some food before and it was not that good and I thought I would give them a try again but with this just happened don't have to worry about me ever ordering again

Why would you serve this garbage to another human?!! The trash that you all gave me I wouldn’t have given to a dog on the street! And to make matters worse the customer service is piss poor and you can’t even reach out to management to have issues addressed properly because they don’t care and that’s a problem! I’m from this community and anytime I’m in the area I believe strongly in supporting the local businesses, but when you continuously take money from people in the community and keep putting out bad product something needs to be done. You can make someone seriously ill giving out stuff like this! I will be reaching out to the health department and will not be giving this place anymore of my business!

Certified Google Reviewer!!! This was my second attempt and topped that grill too has failed again . I receive refried old whole wings. I ordered the whole wings with french fries. The fries were old and refried and covered in seasoned. The chicken wings were also overly seasoned in an attempt to cover up the fact that the food was old. I have made several attempts to reach out to the restaurant to contact the owner personally before making this review. I will be reaching out to the health department. It is unfair for people to purchase food with their hard-earned money to be given trash. I have read several other reviews stating how the food was overcooked or old. It seems to me that either the owner just doesn't care and is out to just collect money. I am from this community and I'm highly disappointed in the food. Please do better by the people!

I purchased a pasta salad today, called in before picking up order. One of the ladies work informed me it would be 10 mins and food would be ready. I waited at least an hour for a call in order. I will not be supporting this business anymore. I have been going here for years and never received service like this from this restaurant. It’s black owned and tried supporting but I can no longer can spend my money with businesses that doesn’t care about the customer and my time for service. Very disappointed 😔

Well, I very rarely give bad reviews but my experience with this restaurant today was awful. I ordered 3 dinner plates through Grubhub and I don't know what happened when they got the order but it seems as though they didn't look at it thoroughly. It's like they just gave me whatever they had, not what I ordered. I ordered 2 baked chicken plates, one dark and one white, mac & cheese, cabbage and fried green tomatoes. I received the dark meat, mac & cheese, cabbage, (dressing and cranberry sauce that I didn't order), no fried green tomatoes. The second chicken plate was supposed to be white meat, fried corn and cabbage. I received (a turkey wing that I don't order), fried corn, and (collard greens that I didn't order). The turkey wing was pale white and looked like it was still raw. It was cooked but it looked raw. I tasted it and it tasted as though it didn't have a ounce of seasoning in it nowhere, not even the basic salt and pepper. All of the food tasted bland, lacking proper seasoning. Me and my wife both were so disappointed, especially after spending almost $60. I've bought from this restaurant before a few year ago and the fried chicken was so good I went back the next day to buy more. That's what made me buy from them today, I remembered how good that chicken was the first time. I'm not sure if this place has changed ownership or not but if not they have fallen off quite a bit.

Ordered A Porkchop Plate & The Macaroni Looks & Taste Awful … I Couldn’t Even BELIEVE It Was Macaroni & That They Would Serve It Looking Like That … The Cabbage Was Ok & The Porkchops Was Old & Rubbery … I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The food was nasty I ordered fish and grits they normally have good grits with cheese cook deeply inside them this time they gave me some plain grits with butter and sprinkle shredded cheese on now how ghetto is that I could have saved my $10 and bought some grits and cook them and sprinkle my own cheese on top of them I am really poor trying to support local businesses especially if they're minorities an African American owned but this is my second bad experience with this location I will not do business with them anymore and I highly recommend that you take your money somewhere else they don't deserve your money.. but the fish was okay nothing to brag on. #SAVEYOUR$$$$
