Opinions de NºBetween Bloomfield
This place is an exquisite blend of class and creativity. A warm welcoming environment, excellent ambience, and incredible menu design aided by their talented mixologist, Sheldon, come together to create a one-of-a-kind experience that places this bar in the upper echelon of the best in New York. One would be remiss not to visit when given the chance.
Happened to discover this cool bar while walking around Chelsea Market. So glad we tried the place! The atmosphere and music were immaculate. We got the salmon don, karaage, tots, chicken thigh skewer. The portions are quite small but they all tasted great! We went at around 7pm on a Saturday and it was quite busy. We initially were told that we had to wait 30 mins, but luckily got a spot quite quickly due to a cancelled reservation.
The drinks here are so good! I heard the burgers are good but didn’t get to try it since the kitchen was closed. Will def go again to try the burgers and get more drinks. Every drink was good. Time after time, viewer discretion, blank slate, morning glory, gift from Kyoto.. my fav was morning glory Service is amazing! Sol was so kind and helpful!
This place was very cool. We were greeted with a warm welcome . When I tell you the drinks are superb I mean it . And so is the food . My only complaint was our bartender she was not pleasant at all, but we didn’t let that ruin our experience. For drinks order the viewer discretion advised, so yummy! For food we did the flatiron steak skewers and ebi fry , which is fried shrimp. Everything was fresh and delicious! We order quite a few of the steak skewers lol. The set up and decor is unique. I love it . Can’t wait to go back.
Great record room/speakeasy with fancy cocktails and awesome Japanese Street foods. My favorite drink is Agent Myuzu. My favorite food items are the dry age burger and the karaage. Went there with a friend and we split a bunch of drinks and items, we had nothing to complain about. The staff are very attentive and quick. The atmosphere is very romantic and the chill vibes that match the music. I would highly recommend making reservations on the resy app on weekends. I can't wait to come back and try out more of the drink and food menu. Cheers to the staff and Chelsea Market for having such a wonderful spot!
Cozy spot with fantastic cocktails. I had preexisting dinner plans and did not get a chance to dine here, but it looked and smelled like I should have. I’ll be back. Definitely recommend!
super cool vibe and gets better as the night goes on. located in chelsea market but not hideously touristy which is nice. enter on 15th st. serving great cocktails and asian inspired cuisine. the toro hand rolls were a highlight. i got the sweet potato cocktail (sorry i forget the name) but if you like negronis you’ll love it. it’s giving tokyo record bar. highly recommend in a weekday hangout with friends or even a date.
Was here on a Friday for happy hour. Food and drinks were amazing and the staff was great! But the real star of the show was the DJ. The music was such a vibe...just what my soul needed! Can't wait to go back!
This bar is an absolute gem! The cocktails are incredible—clearly crafted with thought and precision. Each drink felt like a unique experience, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. As a bartender myself is it so hard to find good savory cocktails, but they absolutely nailed it here! The ambiance is unmatched, with just the right lighting and an epic music selection that sets the perfect mood for the evening. A huge shoutout to the manager, Alex, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a place with chill and luxurious feel, a great vibe, and stellar service, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!
NBetween is my new favorite happy hour/Friday night spot. The bartenders were top tier. If your looking for refreshing cocktail I recommend the clean slate. The viewer’s discretion cocktail was also a 10/10. For food, I recommend the Chicken meatball & Salmon don. If your in Chelsea market it’s worth a visit!
N.Between has quickly become one of my regular cocktail bars on rotation. Great place to vibe out to the sick sound system or just catch up with a friend. All the cocktails are very thoughtfully made and delicious. My personal favorites are the Shiro Buko and Blank Slate. As for the food, I really enjoy the Addictive Cabbage or the Tots for the perfect drinking snacks. Definitely should give this place a try! Shoutout to Sheldon! Awesome bartender and approachable guy.
This was our second visit to Nbetween Bar, and we couldn’t be more impressed! The atmosphere, decor, and overall vibe take you back to a charming vintage-style bar—it’s such a cozy and unique spot. The food is absolutely delicious; while we only tried the small plates, they were so good that we’re sure the entrees would be just as amazing. The drinks, though, are the highlight for us. Each one is uniquely crafted, with the perfect balance of alcohol, sweetness, and citrusy tang—they’re truly delightful. We also had the pleasure of meeting Crystal, our server, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though we arrived late, she took the time to chat with us and even treated us to a free shot for being long-distance visitors. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in NYC. Highly recommend this place!
I came to the Chelsea Market originally for a light snack before going to an exhibit but of course I notice everything and read that owners of Very Fresh Noodles open up a bar called NBetween. So why not check it out! NBetween cocktail bar: I loved the exclusive entrance to this bar, gives it a certain “je ne seis quoi” that I like. Most of the drinks are smooth and light with distinctive and aromatic flavors. I could literally taste every ingredient in my drink “The Shiro Buko” It’s a nice experience if you’re ever in Chelsea market, come by !
My boyfriend and I walked in when it was newly open and we loved it. The ambiance was amazing and their drinks were even better. Each cocktail was made to perfection and I haven’t stopped thinking about this place since then. Cannot wait to go back soon next time I’m in town.
Really great atmosphere. We had a 6pm rez and the maitre'd was able to get us a front and center bar seat. Delighted there was a great Happy Hour menu. The drinks were good, food solid, and the music most memorably was amazing. A very Tokyo record bar vibe. I spent half my time Shazaming the tracks. Would def go back. Wonderfully friendly service.
What a wonderful find! NBetween is located in Chelsea Market via the side entrance. I initially saw photos online and wasn't convinced this was a spot for date night. Still, I went. When I got inside, my mind changed quickly. Here's my review in order of importance: Would I go back? Yes! And I can't wait. I want to go back for date night, to try more of the food and drinks on the menu, and I think this place would also be amazing for a girls nights. The Vibe Oh the vibe. The vibe was incredible. Beautiful dim lighting, surrounded by vinyls, close seating at the bar for date night, the DJ spinning the BEST tunes in the corner. I loved it. No one was dancing, but I feel like if you needed to bust a quick move you could. Service The bartender quickly came over and provided us with menus. We engaged him in conversation about the different tequilas and gins they offered. Both bartenders were very attentive throughout the evening. Food & Drinks We ordered the hamburger and the fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and the fries were nice and crispy. The bartender made and INCREDIBLE Gin and Tonic with a twist of lemon and the Cafe Cafe was quite good. Sometimes I'm hesitant to try different versions of espresso martini's but this was delicious. Arrival Security was kind and let us know to inform the hostess that we had a reservation. We entered and informed the hostess who said we were early and the table we would sit at was closing the bill. No problem for us! We were willing to wait. One of the servers also came over and offered to hang our coats up which was needed! Seating While we waited for a table, the hostess informed us that we could sit at the bar for dinner as two seats opened up. We decided to do that. Please note: Most of the seating does not have back support, so make sure you are keeping those abs tight.
In between two restaurants, youll see a sign above a hallway go all the way back and entrance is behind this plastic curtain (video attached). Had the tomato martini and it was so good. Honestly up there with the famous martinis I had at Holbrook house. Cool japanese record bar vibes. The place was pretty packed on wednesday night! Great service, everyone was super friendly and helpful with suggestions.
Our group had a great experience at N Between! Very cool space with mood lighting and vinyls all over. Great service throughout. All of the cocktails were very well balanced and unique, Japanese inspired flavors. The food was terrific. Reasonable prices for NYC. I would definitely go back
Loved loved loved this place. The vibes were amazing and the staff was so nice, friendly, and helpful. We got the Peach Episode and Time After Time drinks, plus the gyudon and calamari. Everything was delicious, and the drinks were especially good. Cute atmosphere and a perfect spot for a night out.
Our favorite bar in the city. Hidden gem in Chelsea Market. Recommend reservation. We walked in last time, had to wait 20 mins or so during a work day. The staff are very nice to give us some free sake shot to apologize for the long wait. You can tell the quality of the drink from the ice 🧊 they chose to use. The food is amazing too. Love the Karage and Meal ball (both are on happy hour menu) My favorites drink hands down is Morning Glory
Food was so good. Drinks were delightful. Service was IMMACULATE. Went with my girlfriend on a bar crawl weekend trip, Billy & Carlos took such good care of us. It feels like you’re in an anime. The food is delicious, drinks are on point. Just GO!!!
This place is very cute, intimate and good vibes. My friend recommended this spot and I was not disappointed. Tasty food and even better drinks. Our server Omar was personable, fun, professional and gave great suggestions on what to order that left me super impressed. The lights are dim, the music is good and its safe to call this a nice gem in NY. I really enjoyed the cabbage. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this spot. Adding it to my favorites! Thank you!

outside measurements, really milky and sweet, pineangle salad, spicy, strong and interesting. anyway, now that I got that out of the way, intimate cool vibes and great for like a casual. get together to have a drink, have the karaoke and it was fried. well, gets pretty packed

Stopped by this gem for the first time today. My friends and I were looking for a spot in the neighborhood to grab a quick drink after brunch, and this place popped up. If you enter from the street, the entrance is pretty easy to miss, but the interior is such a vibe. It reminds me of those late-night casual bars in Japan and Hong Kong. I love the records they have everywhere. The menu has some really unique drink options, and I love the Asian-inspired flavors in them. The drinks were delicious and definitely strong. The staff is also super friendly, from the host to our server, Tirzah, who is such a vibe! She’s super sweet, attentive, and has such a fun personality. I would definitely visit here again the next time I’m in the area and try their other menu items, cause their food looked good too. And hopefully Tirzah will be there.
The place was very cozy and amazing. It gave me a strong 90s and early 2000s vibe, almost like Japanese CITYPOP style. The music was great and the cocktails were delicious. We tried several cocktails and some appetizers, and everything tasted really good. But the best part was the service. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and had an incredible vibe that made the whole experience even better.
Phenomenal cocktail spot in Chelsea market. The Japanese elegance and quality shines through and through. We had 1 martini with gooseberry instead of olive and what a flavor bomb. Second one was Time and Time Again which was another highly quality drink(little sweet for my palette for nonetheless great drink) I won’t recommend their karage as they are definitely not JP version which I like. They more like American style fried chicken. Verdict - Must visit cocktail spot in Chelsea.

Fun spot where you won't want to stay long unless you're young because the seats are kinda uncomfortable. They're more something you would tie a horse to then opt to actually sit on. Kind of genius for New York where we need to turn tables! Great mocktail. The DIY hand roll dish was fun! We liked the mentaiko Mac n cheese. Decent karaage chicken, fried shrimp and addictive cabbage.
Love this spot that is kind of tucked away in a corner of the Chelsea Market. There is an entrance to the bar on the street so you don’t have to go through the market. The bar has a dystopian blade runner like vibe and interior. Drinks are creative and they have different DJs every night according to one of the staff. When we went, it was DJ Mo Drums who played Reggae selections. The music was truly great—I couldn’t believe people weren’t dancing!! On drinks and food, we got one non alcoholic cocktail, blank slate, unruly pear, and karaage. Unruly pear was refreshing without being too sweet. Overall, it’s definitely a cool spot to check out.
NBetween is a beautiful low key bar nestled inside the Chelsea Market in Manhattan. The bar has that Japanese record parlor vibe to it. I'm positive this place is going to become a hot spot in the year to come. Sheldon was bartender guide on this journey through a small but diverse menu. There were a few drinks that caught my eye but I had to narrow it down. Here's what I had: Prolonged Eye Contact- God dammit this is delicious. Calpico and melon are the two biggest flavors but they come together in such an amazing way. The cotton candy grape and the melon 🍈 work so well together. Its a seasonal drink but it should be a staple. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Morning Glory - Shochu, toki whiskey, cocoa puffs, sesame and topped with a Hokkaido milk cream. This taste like it has coffee in it but it doesn't. The presentation is that of a Irish coffee. This isn't my style of drink but this would be wonderful for someone else. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Viewer Discretion Advised - What stood out for me when I ordered this drink was the passionfruit and papaya. These are two fruits with similar origins but different taste. The drink looks like a traditional sour but drinks like something with more texture and substance. This is a great drink that is complex with adding amaro or sherry. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Came here solo for happy hour after gallery hopping in Chelsea. The cocktail I ordered was absolutely delicious! Forgot the name of it but it had red bean, barley tea, strawberry and vodka based. I could actually smell and taste all of the flavors. I would not order the nanbam chicken again. 4.5 stars. Dark neon vibes and well curated retro-futuristic decor. I had a good time looking around and taking in the atmosphere - the walls even say "eat, drink, laugh, happiness." :)
Nice low-key bar, best for parties of 2-4 (small space) who appreciate a space to have some conversation over creative cocktails. Shout out to DJ Linda Tran for the vibes! Also shout out to the bartender who was very friendly, took pride in his work, and showed appreciation to the customers with small complementary shots. My only complaints are the following: the music is a touch too loud for the space and the hostess is a stickler for time and makes you feel like you’ve overstayed your welcome (even though you’ve made a reservation and are spending money).
Cool Japanese bar/restaurant! I think the vibes are great here and the have a really cool interior. The food however was just very normal and a bit overpriced for my taste/the portion sizing. I think this would be a great place for drinks and maybe 1-2 small apps. But the pricing is still a bit steep for even beer - would recommend this place if you’ve enjoy cool cocktails and a darker atmosphere/vibey music.
Drinks are great but way too expensive. Would make more sense at $15-17 especially if not served in real glass cups Cool space and good music Chairs and tables are a bit uneven and rickety
Solid asian inspired drinks. For the food, we enjoyed the tots and the karage. Gyudon bowl was a bit tough (for the beef), takowasa was too salty, addictive cabbage was ok… Chicken thigh, steak, and the mataike mushrooms were all mediocre. Server got some of our order wrong and charged us for it, not a big deal since they are new. Would only come for drinks and the fried stuff next time.

Cool spot with a casual atmosphere. Food wise, some things taste great but others are an acquired taste (e.g. the eggplants tasted a bit like perfume), but overall the quality is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For example, we did not order the karaage but were served it anyway, and the staff apologized and made sure we were not charged for it. There are certain seats where you are kind of halfway between sitting and standing against a log. These seats are not comfortable if you plan on staying for a long time. They occasionally pump a scented fog into the room. It looks cool but at one point the fog was so thick we genuinely thought there was a fire for a second. If scents bother you, you may not like this.

Stopped by for a drink and as promised the the interior is a cozy late night vibe. The “Security Blanket” cocktail was very good, I recommend. However the “Unruly Pear” was a bit watery and when a slight adjustment was requested we were told that it was on tap (not disclosed on the menu) and that they would be unable to help. The server was polite but for $19 I was hoping for the bar to handle the situation a bit better. Overall a nice experience but definitely do ask about the cocktails before you order!

This establishment offers an enjoyable atmosphere with good music and a commendable drink selection. However, our dining experience was significantly marred by an issue with the food service. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, we were informed that our food order had unfortunately not been placed with the kitchen. This oversight resulted in a considerable and unproductive wait, and we ultimately left without receiving our meal. Adding to our disappointment, no attempt was made to compensate us for our drinks or to expedite a new food order. While the ambiance and beverages were pleasant, this operational lapse and the subsequent lack of service recovery were notable letdowns.
Loved the food and the cocktails. We made a reservation at 8:30 and spent $448 total for our table in front of the door on halloween. We started to feel uncomfortable when runners kept coming in to check if we were done with our food around 9:30pm and by 10pm we definitely could tell the establishment wanted us to leave since they took away all our cutlery and dishes. We obliged to pay around 10:10pm because it felt uncomfortable to stay there despite only having stayed for 1 hour and 30 min at this point and I hope the servers were able to take more tops for the night by giving us pressure to leave.
Came here yesterday 2/28 at around 725pm. We were not greeted and there was no hostess in sight. We arrived at the bar, asked to see the menu. The bar attendant handed it to us very rudely. When we went to place our order and pull out a chair, he aggressively stated that the seats were reserved and we have to speak to a host. His disgusting attitude ruined the whole environment, so we left. Which is unfortunate because the ambiance was nice, and it seemed like an exciting place to dine/get a drink. On our way out the hosts were walking back into the bar, not sure from where, but we told them about our experience, and they were apologetic, for which I am appreciative. In general, you all need to do better, your establishment needs more structure. Host should be where they are supposed to be, and servers should get thorough training on interacting with customers before having to do so. The bar attendant was a terrible representation of your business, and for that exact reason I will NEVER be returning. I hope he gets reprimanded, we were nice, polite, and he looked at us with disgust.
