A real Italian restaurant! Every person I talked to was Italian and it that really showed in the food, energy and overall experience. We had the bruchetta, ravioli, salmon, and Pappardelle which were all wonderful. Solid portions, and cooked perfectly. They also served bread with house made olive oil to start. Dessert was their pistachio gelatao and cake which was one of the best I've had in the US. I'll definately be going back. This is my new favorite Italian restaurant in West Village

What a great find on Hudson street! We decided to casually walk in after spending the day in WV, and to our surprise we found such a hidden gem! The ambience is super cozy, and the food was great! We had the arancini balls which were fried perfectly and the risotto inside was creamy and cheesy, the carbonara (one of the best carbonaras I've had), and the milanese! So happy to have found this cute spot and would definitely come back!

From the start this place was sooo attentive. I called for a Saturday reservation for my birthday on the day of. So I know, party of 7, so last minute. But Frederico, that picked up my call was so friendly and sooo caring and helpful. He was on the phone with me for a while trying to move tables around so he could make room for us. So thoughtful and kind. Once my party and I arrived again, so nice, we grabbed a drink at the bar until our table was ready. I had a mezcal old fashion which was very delicious, not very sweet, exactly how I like it. Once we were seated, Mario, the server was beyond attentive and funny. Service was impeccable and everyone was sooo caring. Food and drinks were really delicious. We had the homemade ice cream with the strawberry and caramel sauce along with the pistachio, and woowww. So delicious. That’s a total must, y’all have to try. It was everyone’s first time there and I just can’t believe I got this lucky to find such a nice place to celebrate my birthday. The place itself is impeccable, so pretty, neat, comfortable, cozy and chic at the same time. It reached beyond my expectations. I’m trying to find the words to express my gratitude to all staff for how well we were treated and I feel like it’s not enough. But again, thank youuuu soooo much. I’ll be recommending this place for liiiife! Really!!! 🥹

Came on a Friday night for happy hour and stayed for dinner. What a great experience! We sat in the bar area and the drinks were excellent. Shared a Negroni flight and some apps. From there our very helpful waiter suggested the daily specials so we ordered the ravioli and lamb shank. Both were excellent. Although we were so stuffed we couldn’t help but order the gelato sundae and it was well worth it. Everything was amazing and we will certainly be back!

We came here to celebrate a birthday and had a very large party with a food allergy involved. Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. They were able to help us navigate the menu for a safe dish for my allergy ( soy ), and it was absolutely delicious! Our server also brought a dessert for the birthday guest, and offered to take our group photo. They were wonderful, I wish I could remember their name! The food here was DELICIOUS, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service is incredible. I definitely recommend dining here!

One of the best places for Italian food in the city. Service is always impeccable. I’ve been multiple times- including for my own birthday and birthdays of friends. We happened to be down the street the other day and had to stop by for dinner.

Loved it! We dropped by without a reservation, and we were lucky to find a table. The menu is small, which is a good indicator of fresh food. The service is really nice and attentive. The food is delicious. We tried starters, pasta, and dessert. 10s across the board. As an Italian myself, I recommend this place for authentic Italian food.

It was an overall excellent atmosphere, and the service at the restaurant was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We ordered food to share, and without even asking, the server divided the dishes for us, which made the dining experience even more pleasant. The Moscato was also delicious, and I highly recommend their tiramisu—definitely the best on the menu.

Had a really enjoyable meal at Felice last weekend. We started with the crab crostini, arancini and chicken liver moose which were good but wouldn’t say must orders, although the you can never go wrong with arancini and a glass of wine to start your meal. For pastas we did the Fusilli which was very good, and the Cacio Pepe which was kind of deconstructed in an unorthodox way. I’d say try one of the other pastas instead of it, considering the many options available. The fried chicken is light and crispy and very good. The sirloin medium rare was absolutely perfect and a great protein to share amidst all the starches that are available. Did multiple wines by the glass, all of which were nice and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and won’t steer you wrong. Overall had a really nice night and considering how competitive high end Italian in west village is, Felice should be added to your go to list.

Food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the servers were fantastic. The only small issues were that one of our appetizers never came out (and I later noticed we were still charged for it), and we were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back, just probably not so close to closing time next time.

Felice on Hudson 615 Hudson St. New York, NY 10014 Italian Bread Omelette French Toast I decided to explore an Italian restaurant, but ironically it was in the late morning hours and I was still in breakfast mode. The ambiance is very relaxing and cozy. Italian Bread: The soft, doughy bread went well with the olive oil. Although I enjoyed this starter, it was rather unusual to be served table bread prior to breakfast. Omelette: This breakfast plate included roasted potatoes and bacon. While the potato was tasty, it really did not pair well with the omelette. A hash brown or home fries would have been a better choice. French Toast: The french toast is undoubtedly my favorite breakfast plate. It was generously piled with several strawberries and blue berries. My only critique was that the side of whipped cream could have been larger. When I return in the future, I will be sure to order a lunch or dinner entree. The waiters and host were very, very nice — truly warm service that made us feel welcome right away. The lighting and coziness of the restaurant were spectacular, which created such a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the setting. The pasta dishes lacked flavor, carbonara came with bacon bits instead of the traditional guanciale (or even pancetta), and the taste was flat. The cacio e pepe tasted like nothing at all, and for the first time I can remember, I actually had to add salt to a dish at a restaurant to get any flavor. Food was flavorless, cocktails were good. Overall, I loved the staff and the ambiance, but the food really missed the mark. Won’t be recommending or returning unfortunately.

I am not one to write reviews but as a celiac I feel it is only fair. I came in tonight and the whole experience was strange. My wine arrived with small specks in it. I couldn’t tell if it was old food or cork. They replaced it, and removed that from the check- but it set the tone. Then we were given two appetizers we never ordered. They sat on our table for more than ten minutes until we finally flagged someone down, and they ended up taking them to another table. We talked over the food for over 10 minutes, doesn’t seem sanitary. The gluten free pasta they assured me was safe made me so sick I had to leave an event this evening early and go home. We asked for the bill multiple times and waited forever. When we finally paid, the total seemed high but the mobile POS did not show an itemized list until after. Once they texted the receipt, we saw we had been charged for the appetizer we never ordered. They had to cancel and recharge us and now the original charges will sit on our card for five to seven business days. So we paid twice until that voided check gets put back into our account. Very disappointing overall. If you are gluten free or have celiac disease I would truly stay away.
