Opinions de Fellini Coffee New York
Came here for happy hour and couldn’t recommend it more, especially on a cold night it’s the perfect cozy vibe! We had the tuna tartar and a few glasses of wine - all delicious! The service was great and very inviting!
Came here for a happy hour with friends and the tuna tartare was delicious! Nice priced happy hour, as well. Very cozy vibes inside. What I would passionately call a “Swiss Chalét” as I am a man of supreme comfort. Highly recommend!
Stopped by the espresso corner here and really enjoyed it! Great vibe, smooth coffee, and the kind of spot I’d definitely return to for an afternoon pick-me-up.
Great for people-watching. Above market rates for coffee beverages but you are paying to have a front-row seat of 8 million New York stories.
I needed to stop for a quick coffee while on break for a job and I just accidentally found this place and I’m so glad I did. It has the most cozy & chic ambiance combined with very warm and friendly service. I found management to be very kind & accommodating to me. And the best part is the menu. I came for coffee and stayed for a delicious lunch. I look forward to future experiences here. Such a treat!
The food, happy hour, snacks, service—100% recommended. The tables are a little small, but otherwise fine.
Love this place. Saw multiple advertisements for it on IG and finally stopped by yesterday…. Twice! It was so good and the staff was super friendly. I had the caramel coffee iced and was delicious. Love the concept and has a great menu of options. Can’t wait to go again today!
Stopped in for drinks in the West Village location and it was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly bartender. We will come back when in town.
If you're in the West Village, Fellini is a gem. As someone visiting from England, I can say the coffee here is superb – rich and smooth, exactly what you want. The pastries are also top-tier, fresh, and full of flavor. They’ve got some great Italian dishes too. Jennifer was really friendly and made me feel right at home. The place has a lovely, cozy vibe – definitely worth a visit!
I order from the to-go window quite often as I work around the corner and it’s always a fantastic experience. Ezgi and Ben are both a joy to talk with in the mornings and the energy they bring to their customers is genuine and highly appreciated. Huge thank you to both of them for making the early mornings more tolerable. Love the coffee and pastry’s, absolute 10/10.
Overall rating: 4.9 I ABSOLUTELY love this place!! I read some of the low reviews & I guess maybe this isn’t good for coffee snobs? I totally think the caramel latte is worth $4.50 or $5 with tax & I’ll definitely be coming back. I also thought it was cute how the owner was just watching on the sidelines asking if anyone needed anything 🥺
Francesco and his team brought a lot of joy to the neighborhood transforming this little corner of the city into what you would imagine a small Italian family run kiosk feels like in Sicily. Smallest coffee shop in the city with outsized returns. Great espresso, iced coffee, and friendly pours of rosato
Fellini Coffee delivers exceptional coffee that combines quality, flavor, and ambiance. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to make recommendations. Their cocktail menu is also innovative, whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing coffee-infused martini or a classic twist on your favorite cocktail, Fellini Coffee is the spot!
My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Felini, a charming spot that exceeded our expectations. We began with the Caesar salad and Burrata & Prosciutto, both of which were expertly prepared and presented. For our main courses, we shared the rigatoni, cooked to perfection, and the spaghetti al pomodoro, which was rich and flavorful. We paired our meal with a bottle of exceptional 'Brunello Di Montalcino' from their wine list. What truly made our evening special, however, was the outstanding service. The staff were warm, attentive, and polite, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at Felini and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable night out. The desserts were impressive!!!
A new coffee kiosk opened up on a corner in the West Village, which is claimed to be the “tiniest coffee shop in NYC”👀 The place immediately goes viral on TikTok and Instagram. Lines of people stretched through the street on weekends. They’ve got some outdoor tables, giving you the vibe of enjoying a beach vacation in Italy. Their owner is enthusiastic in giving suggestions when you place order. Love their speedy and friendly service - they even posed to let us take pictures! We quickly fell in love with the sweet and spicy flavors of the Dirty Chai, which is a blend of espresso, chai and milk. The iced tea was mildly sweetened with a kick of peach flavor throughout. Very refreshing to cool you off in the heat. The red and white striped straws look funky with the drinks.
Great authentic Tuscan Italian food. Their lasagna is outstanding, fall salad was delicious and amazing choice of wines. You won’t be disappointed
This tiny triangle is the smallest coffee shop in NYC! It’s only 16 square feet and barely fits 2 baristas inside. The barista we spoke to when we visited today said that it’s really tight, but it’s cool and they make it work. We got the Dolce Vita, which is a sweet and creamy latte with caramel (exactly how I like my coffee haha), and the Fellini Rocher cookie, which has a praline and hazelnut cream in the middle (the hazelnut cream is my favorite part about this cookie). The cookie is the soft and chewy kind, so if you like those type of cookies, get this. Super cool tiny coffee shop in the West Village! There are also a bunch of tables and chairs outside - perfect for a nice sunny day like today~ $5.25 Dolce Vita (large) [small is $5] $4 Fellini Rocher Cookie
Very unique coffee spot, that's for sure. Like a hole in the wall. I got Dolce Vita late and chocolate type pastrie, they both were very good. They have sitting outside and umbrellas to hide from the sun. The ladies working there are very friendly. I do recommend this place. Thank you :) ☕️🥐
I had seen so much hype about this on tiktok that I family had to cave and check it out! I was not disappointed! It was so cute. It felt almost Parisian walking up to this micro coffee shop to order! The staff was super friendly, and even though there was a long line, it did not take any time at all! I got a dirty chia and it was one of the better ones I have had. I don’t like them overly sweet and I feel like they had the perfect balance!
Repeat customer here 🙋♀️ Dropping by to say that the cold brew at this location is consistently smooth, soft and not overpowering in the best possible way, which ads to the lovely Greenwich Village aesthetic. Makes for a perfect starting point into a village stroll. There's no table service, but they have seating (small tables and benches). Going early in the morning makes it easier to always find a spot. In my experience, pastries tend to look a little tired presentation wise, but taste is ok. Note that the line tends to move somewhat slowly as they do have a lot of drink options that take somewhat long to prepare, and there's usually only 1 or 2 staffers managing the window. [Please note this is a review for Fellini Coffee at this location and not the restaurant. Both seem to be linked to the same listing.]
Ezgi & Ben were the best. So pleasant and helpful. Ben made amazing hot chocolates with a milk design. Ezgi smiled the entire time. My team loved all the pastries and the hot chocolates. They were delicious and look delectable. Thank you so much for being so great. Will definitely be back again.
I have to say, it was a good experience. I went with some of my friends and we enjoyed the recommendations. Aperol spritz, mulled wine and other drinks. Diavola pizza, calamari, arancini, everything was fast and tasted fresh and a lot of flavor on those items, pretty good. We went when it was a quiet night, so not too many people inside (the tables are too small, so it was good for us). We arr really glad for the atmosphere, so classy and the good service for the staff. So friendly, professional and good attitude. Thank you Eduardo and Sergio for the amazing night.🍷🍸🍝🫒
Coffee was so delicious! I can’t believe it’s ONE person taking orders and making the drinks he’s working on 3x speed it’s a sight to see! I do feel the drink being $15 is a little overpriced for what it is, but hey, when in NY I guess?! It was emergency coffee but definitely expect to wait in line for a bit!
The watermelon salad with feta and klamata olives with balsamic drizzle was perfect for the warmer summer months. Great atmosphere with seats right on 7th Ave for awesome people watching. Note to restaurant: presenting the dish colder and on a chilled plate would really elevate this dish even further.
We were lucky enough to come across this restaurant. It is centrally located and easy to reach on foot or by subway. We were warmly welcomed by the staff today. The ambience is mega, there are beautiful chandeliers and the bar is nice, you can see directly during the meal how the cocktails are made, every table already has water served. The menu is not too big but the dishes are incredibly fine. we had mozzarella buratta as a starter and raw ham, both of high quality, as a main course we had pizza diavola. we also had very enjoyable cocktails, our waiter was very warm and courteous. it was an unforgettable evening. also fair prices for this very good quality. thank you, we will be back.
one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The food was incredibly delicious, with impressive presentations and unique flavors. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. I'll definitely be back! 5 stars well deserved."
Went for their delicious pistachio coffee - a must try with pistachio cream (may be seasonal though). The vibe is cute and cozy with large doors bringing the outside in and dimly lit at night. Didn't order food but it looked good. Cute bar too.
This coffee was the best I've ever had served in cocktail glass. The tiramisu latte 🔥 I thought it would be too sweet but it was perfect kudos to Fellini. The vibes are nice and the place is clean although the Italian music had me laughing. I've also come to realize when drinking a coffee the smell of coffee is what I'd like for the coffee shop to smell like but instead it smelled like pizza and pasta smelled great but since it's a restaurant as well the aromas were mixed and because they serve alcohol the place can be louder than a typical coffee shop let's call it more social opposed to going to complete a task. I'll be visiting again. Trying new stuff and other locations. Thanks
First time I visited was a few years ago when this was the only their location. Looks like they have expanded since with multiple locations. The cafe is really unique and cool. It is located exactly on the corner of Perry St. / 7th Ave and is shaped like a triangle. At about ~15sq feet it may be the smallest cafe in NYC. Only 2 people can really fit in the space. It does have outdoor seating so you can enjoy your outdoor on the street.
The place is very cute. The famous tiramisu latte… was in fact a cold brew with foam. The employees are hostile.
First off, the place has a really cute vibe—clean, minimalist, and beautifully decorated with a charm that instantly makes you want to linger. The service was friendly and attentive, and it’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go meal since there’s limited seating. I tried the coffee, and it was great—smooth, well-balanced, and ideal for a dry, sunny spring day. It’s definitely a cozy stop if you’re in the area and want something quick but high quality. The only awkward part was the tipping process. Since it’s mostly a takeaway-style place, I wasn’t expecting the screen to prompt a tip—and the server stood waiting while I figured it out. I usually don’t tip for grab-and-go, so it felt a bit uncomfortable in the moment. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d still recommend the spot for its aesthetic, great food and drink options, and welcoming service.
My friend and i went there to grab a tiramisu latte. I have drink tiramisu latte before at other places. The tiramisu latte did not impress me and i think it was a bir waste of money. Because personally it was a just a basic latte with a type of sweet cream cold foam on top and chocolate powder. If they charge 11$ just for one tiramisu latte they should do a change on recipe. If you are going there as an 2 people or more and all of you want tl get tiramisu latte you should buy 1 at first and give it a try to see if you like it. I would do in that way if i could go back. My friend who ordered same drink is thinking in a same way with me. Other than that the service and the surrounding and vibes of this place was nice.
First off, the place has a really cute vibe. It's a charming spot with beautiful decor that sets a nice atmosphere. Service-wise, they were fantastic! They easily accommodated an extra friend who joined us, which was super nice. The menu, however, was a bit of a mixed bag. It's a beer and wine-only place, which is fine, but the espresso martini made with sake was a miss for me—the flavors just didn't gel. I switched to a mimosa next, but it was way more orange juice than champagne. As for the food, it was alright. Nothing bad, but nothing to rave about either. My friends felt the same; we were hoping for flavors that popped a bit more. Can't say much about the coffee myself, but they did mention the iced latte was good. Overall, Fellini Cucina nails the vibe and decor aspects, and while the service was great, the food didn't quite hit the mark for us. Probably not a spot I'd rush back to for the food, but it’s charming for a one-time visit.
Food was terrible !!!! Omg ! The way food was prepared was very low class and they use low quality ingredient . The food tasted bad . Drinks are very good but food is a NO-NO.
So I first went to the SOHO location a few months ago and literally had the best latte of my life. Then I went to this location instead and got the tiramisu latte again. It was completely different. Lacked any flavor at all… color was off, foam was off. Just really disappointing as I was so excited :/ maybe it’s due to the popularity, but I hope the quality goes back to what it was.
If you venture out, we would recommend Morandi across the street. Fellini’s Pasta was good but that’s where it ended. Were unknowingly charged for $5 Evian water and they would not remove it from the bill. Music was also very loud.
Charged us for something we didn’t order, they don’t have a phone number so we walked an hour back. They refunded the item and then laughed when I asked why they don’t have a phone number
Everyone who works here is always so rude for no reason. I used to love it until it happened time and time again and I didn’t understand the need for such complete disregard for humanity. Also the coffee has gone significantly downhill. All my friends and I who live in the area agree, it’s sad to say that they have lost so many customers essentially due to rudeness when it costs nothing to just be nice to strangers.
I usually don’t leave reviews. This is so bad that it’s not worth the hype. Don’t waste your money. If you’re thinking about buying it as a donation, then sure, go ahead.
AWFUL QUALITY AND SERVICE! I went to the pick-up window this morning and ordered a Dolce Vita. As soon as I got to the window, the woman who was working immediately had an attitude as though I was disturbing her. I had wanted to order more than the coffee, but how she was acting, I wanted to leave as soon as possible and decided not to. She gave me my coffee without saying a word and I quickly left. I tasted my coffee, and it was horrible! It tasted almost watered down and I couldn't even tell if there was caramel in it. Will definitely not be coming back.
Maybe you should teach the guy at the door respect!
Disappointed as I really do love all the other Fellini coffee shops. I walked in and wanted to sit at the bar and was told I could only sit at a table which really confused me because the establishment was no where near full, but that’s alright , maybe something was wrong at the bar. So I sat down at a table and waited, and waited…. And waited and then the waitress who had passed me multiple times set someone else up with menus and service who had just walked in. Barista behind the bar barely acknowledged me as his face was planted knee deep in his phone. It got so bad that I started googling other coffee shops in the area. I left frustrated and now on my way to find a coffee shop that actually cares. Not sure if I caught them on a bad day but a terrible first impression for this location
I’m sorry but the dirty chai latte was bland, made with water or the blandest almond milk no froth…I miss Seattle’s lattes. The hot chocolate was hot water and chocolate powder not for me. Hard pass.
I gave one stare because I had no choice. I went there today encountered Lina the server and asked for a vegan almon tart and two glasses of wine to go (pino and rose) the one was $16 a cup and you could see how much was in the cup (took pic below of rose) so before I leave go back to the window and this guy behind bar with long shoulder length blonde hair was there and I go excuse me I was just wondering these were $16 each and there's barely anything in the cup and he cuts me off puts his hand in my face and goes not now and looks away and laughs. I go to complaint to Lina who I find out is the manager there and she goes "that's horrible I'll talk to him about that" and then I tell her if they can't do a normal pour I'd like my money back and she goes is this girl Kidding me?? In front of everyone. Only to issue me a refund. On my receipt I realize Lina took it upon herself to tip herself when I initially paid with my Apple wallet! See photo. Lina and the White guy with shoulder length blonde hair clearly shouldn't be in hospitality. Horrible experience
Horrible! They don’t accept cash!! Tried to order a coffee at the window and they refused my order because I only had cash on me! I’ll be reporting this illegal action!
I will never go there due to the disgusting food storage and food prep practices detailed in the NY Post. They store their food products in a fridge that is too warm, cross contaminate their produce with raw meat, and prepare their meals on top of trash cans. They fired the barista who bravely blew the whistle. I don't play Russian roulette with my health, so I will not risk eating or drinking anything from Fellini Cucina or its affiliated coffee bar.
When we arrived, the waiters completely ignored us. The staff are extremely rude and overall the management has stuck up attitude. The food is alright. They don’t accept cash fyi and have obligatory tipping set to 20%. When we were trying to calculate how much each of us are supposed to pay, the restaurant manager told us to hurry. Will never ever ever visit this place again.
Genuinely got scammed by this restaurant. I came here solely because the restaurant is listed on resy. My bill was $90 for 2 people. And so then i tipped 20% so the total came out as $108. The waiter used a toast tab so i wasn’t able to see the receipt breakdown not knowing that there was already a 20% gratuity included so I hope the waiter enjoyed her $30+ tip which was not deserved because the service was mediocre. But this isn’t even the kicker. Later, i noticed my charge popped up on my amex as “Tivoli Trattoria” which is literally the name of a restaurant that is listed as “permanently closed” on google. so therefore i did not get my amex resy credit and now have to pay the $108 out of pocket. Genuinely unreal the amount of times i got scammed by store owners while in nyc.
Over priced drinks at the bar. $20 for one drink they barely put alcohol in. In daytime you can’t just get coffee and sit even if it’s empty you gotta order food. Very expensive and rude people
Me and my sister came here after seeing it recommended on TikTok, it was a horrible experience. The customer service was horrible. We got the Dolce Vita and Tiramisu latte, it was ok, not as good as we had expected. We actually went inside to get some food and the waiter was so rude and dismissive, we walked right back out. Never again. 0/5
Went to the coffee corner yesterday. Despite the cute coffee shop, the lady working was not that nice and automatically puts 20% gratuity on two cups of coffee. Their espressos are not strong at all either.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The customer service was extremely disappointing. I came for happy hour, and despite multiple open tables, the host insisted on seating me near the door while it was nearly 14 degrees outside. I then waited about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. The assigned server spoke to multiple guests who arrived after I did, repeatedly walked past my table, and completely ignored me. The host ultimately had to take my order because the server never attempted to do so. Needless to say, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.
It’s important to say that I went for a cappuccino, not for dining-in. The coffee is regular, it was cold so the service was very bad. I suggest this store during Spring or Summer time. The seating area is outside with no heaters which it makes it impossible to use in snowy or rainy days.
I came here two days in a row because the tiramisu latte was good and was charged differently. Yesterday I paid $11 with no automatic tip. Today, an automatic tip was added and the total was $14. With four people, the first person who paid was not charged the tip, but the rest of us were. When I asked I was told it was automatic, if there is an automatic gratuity, it needs to be clearly stated and applied consistently.
