The whole family loves this place! We consistently order five ice cream cones of various sizes, dips, and coatings. I will let you in on a little secret, that not all Dairy Queen’s offer.....order a vanilla ice cream cone with “crunch-coat”.....it is the bomb dot com as the kids would say! And everyone else is correct, the owner here is a genuine, respectful, delightful person!

Overall, this place is great. There's a good selection of desserts and the blizzards are delicious. Everyone is friendly and the service is good. The drive-thru line can get long, sometimes extending to the street, but it tends to move quickly. I wish it stayed open later than 10:00pm, but that's probably more a result of my sweet tooth than anything else.

Little disappointed that I downloaded the app to use at this store, and this is the only store within 50 miles that you cannot use the app for. Please open up your walk up counter. It's ridiculous you make it drive thru only. Nothing more annoying than having cars blocking lanes of traffic to get a blizzard.

The blizzard is always good here. Never been disappointed, but for the first time, I had a chili cheese hot dog. The absolute worst hot dog I've ever had in my life. The buns were stale.The hot dog was old and overcooked

Wife and I stopped by because she was craving a shake. We ordered a small white mocha shake with brownie batter and got a medium shake with some kind of chocolate base with no brownie batter. Then I got a medium Royal New York Cheesecake blizzard, it came small and they used peanut butter ice cream? I'm glad I'm not allergic. But peanut butter ice cream with strawberries? If we go again and mess up two simple orders again I don't think we'll go to the Bloomington location for a while to sit in a line that blocks the road because they don't offer outdoor seating.

Remember how they use the blue dry erase markers to jot down orders? It ends up on your sandwich. Other than the skimping on drinks and meat, the ice cream is good.

Operations are weird. Need to update speaker, lines all the way to the street, and they don't let you order out of your car. Feels like they need one more employee to take orders and move cars like Culver's. Or at least take orders at the front.

Their treats are awesome, and most employees are friendly, but this is the most miserable DQ to come to because they closed their walk-up service during COVID and four years later they haven’t reopened it. The drive-thru line is often into the road. Half the time I intend to come here I drive right on by because of the line that I know will be a 20-30 minute wait. The only reason I come here still (sometimes) is because it’s the only DQ in town.

If DQ in Bloomington isn’t going to open the front window again then they need to do a split lane drive thru. Having cars sit in the road is unsafe.

I could not be more disappointed with the service I received today. My girls and I have frequented this establishment semi regularly for years and the experience we had today has destroyed any good things I could ever have to say. We were getting our car serviced, and I decided to walk them to get ice cream when they started to get antsy waiting for our car to get finished. We walked up to the window to order ice cream and were informed that we couldn’t be helped unless we went through the drive thru. I informed the lady working the window we didn’t have a car, it was getting worked on across the street and we were taking a break from waiting to get ice cream. So she then had me take my 2 and 7 year old daughters on foot in between vehicles through a drive thru. It would’ve been much easier to just provide customer service safely and just let us buy the ice cream at the window she had already opened to help the elderly lady in front of us. Unbelievable. Won’t be back.
