A solid restaurant The food here is excellent, servings are huge, and we've had both done in and take out experiences. Authentic and reasonably priced. 4 marks given for service and atmosphere because it is a counter style restaurant. The staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant, and bathrooms are very clean but it's still not intended as a fine dining experience with full wait staff. Take-out that is incredible. I ordered their Carne Asada with rice and beans. It was the best Carne Asada that I have ever tasted. The rice and beans were among the best, too (having lived in Texas for a number of years, I know Tex Mex). They have additional FLAVOR that really makes them special. BTW, the tortillas are huge -- like 12-inches around or more.

More of a take out place. Food is excellent. Crispy Taco is truley crisy, everything tastes fresh and drinks are top notch authentic. Husband loved it. Teenager loved it!! The sweet young lady taking orders was very pleasant to chat with. If we weren't leaving town tomorrow, would go again!

Hidden gem in Blythe. Stopped on our way to California from Arizona. The food was fresh and flavorful. The girl at the register (Daile) was friendly and helpful. Very clean and well maintained restaurant. Definitely one of the best Mexican food I have ever tried. Shoutout to Jorge as well for being amazing with excellent customer service for our second time here on our way back to Arizona from California. You guys rock!

Amazing place , as a Latina I have to say this food is so good and authentic ! The carne asada burrito is huge and the shrimp cocktail is delicious . The michelada is amazing . Yadira is so nice and gives the best customer service as well as the young man in the front.

Wow , Great real Mexican food , the chicken soup my dad loved he said it like his mom made. My fish tacos was the best I have had in years , just like when I used to visit Baja. The salsa is awesome and the best part is the waitresses are very good looking and friendly. I recommend to anyone

Each and every review here is beyond true coz the food was too good. Being a vegetarian it’s very hard for me and my family to get good tasty food, here they made it all fresh and customized to our requirements. Don’t miss this place.

I never miss a chance to eat here when in the area, fantastic Mexican food and truly fast food. An extensive menu, reasonably priced, and I have never left disappointed. I am practically addicted to the La Paloma burrito and Horchata, both taste incredible. You'll have fantastic food in hand faster than your best McDonalds drive thru experience and be thankful for finding a hidden gem.

We were just traveling though, stopped here for a quick bite. We we're very impressed with the food. We are pretty critical about Mexican food and found this place to be phenomenal. The value was good too. Burritos were HUGE! we will stop here every time we travel through.

Food was amazing!! I tried a carne asada burrito that had fresh quality steak and veggies. My dad tried the chicken one. Same quality and the other burrito. The rolled tacos were on point too. I splurged and got an horchata that was delicious. Super convenient location right off the highway. Restaurant was very clean as well. La Paloma you’re killing it.

It's been a long time since I've been this impressed by a hole in the wall Mexican food place. The quality was a solid A and quantity was A++. Friendly staff with fair pricing. I thought it a little high going in, then I saw the plates. The fluatas looked like large chimmi's and the Verde burrito had to be three pounds, then the flavors... Off the hook good. My advice, split a plate. Happy Eats.

An unassuming, no frills, absolutely delicious Mexican restaurant. Their asada burritos are one of the best I've ever had. Shrimp burrito is decent. Tried their caldo de res recently, it was alright. Their fries and potato hard shell tacos are so amazing. Honestly you can't go wrong with this place, haven't had a bad meal here. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you're ever passing thorough Cali on the way to AZ. The staff are friendly. I hear the burgers are to die for. Can't wait to come back here to try more things.

Amazing food at good price

Food was phenomenal. I did not expect to travel back in time! The tacos tasted just like my grandma’s and she’s been gone a while now. We also got the chorizo torte, carne asada burrito, and chile rilleno — all amazing. I highly recommend! Service was great too!

Nice place to stop in Blythe. Clean, airy, and air conditioned restaurant with counter service. Big parking lot out back they share with Rebel BBQ. Really quick to put an order together. Drive through can take a while, I recommend going inside. Great salsa bar with hot salsa!

This was a real find as we passed through Blythe! Homemade fast food that was absolutely delicious! Clean and friendly place that was very busy because it’s so good! Our food came out very quickly. I has hard shell beef tacos with rice and beans. My husband had hard shell chicken tacos also with rice and beans. After almost every bite one of us would say, “this is so good!” Yum yum!

The carne asada burrito was delicious! I was told that the shredded beef taco was great too. I'll be making this my regular stop for lunch when traveling to Phoenix.

Wow, their burritos are BIG. Drive thru at least 1x weekly. Always delicious. I went inside once because the drive thru was so long and it was very clean. They remodeled the kitchen.

Didn't much care for the chicken tacos. The carnitas tacos were fantastic, especially with hot sauce added. Also, the "big" tacos are actually pretty big. I would have been fine with just two.

The nachos supreme are my favorite. Homemade chips, cheese, beans, guacamole and a ton of meat. I always get carnitas. Highly recommend for Mexican food in Blythe.

I got the Number 5, carne asada taco plate and let me just say these tacos are huge and the best I've ever had. We are from Texas and thought our Tex-Mex was the best, boy was I wrong, this Mexican food is far superior than that of Texas. Stop here and eat. You won't regret it!!!

A REALLY GOOD place to go eat with friends or family or even BOTH! I really recommend it. I would recommend tacos de cabeza or taco fish.

Always stop by here when driving through town. Food is top notch, everything tastes super fresh and the prices are very low compared to similar Mexican joints.

Carnitas Burritos are huge and very good! Chile Relleno's are awesome and the Shrimp Tacos are my kids favorite.

Restrooms were clean, condiments well stocked, coffee was fresh and strong. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito, it was $10, and well worth it. They have a great selection of sauces, that tasted fresh and homemade, with a level of spice for everyone.

Headed back to our home in NM and Googled Mexican food in CA, Blythe to be exact, liked the reviews and weren't disappointed at all, menudo was great tacos melted in my mouth and the shrimp cocktail was better than the ones we had on a ship cruise to Mexico, will definitely stop again when in the area. Prices are a little steep but well worth it 👌

So delish!!! We got carne asada burrito, cones asada tacos, fish taco, la Paloma burger, and the nachos supreme that had carne asada and everything on it. Everything was so good but the best was the nacho!! Next level delicious. Next time we will get two orders of the nachos to feed my huge family of 10. Highly recommended!!

This is my favorite Mexican eatery. It’s a drive through only place, but it makes really tasty tacos. I had a Cabeza plate (it’s not on the menu, but you can ask for a plate based on any of its protein offerings) and a pollo asado plate. The cabeza was a bit overcooked this time (maybe it sat in a warmer a bit too long), but still very tasty and the pollo was very good as well. The servings were quite large and the price was reasonable and the plate combos came with a large drink. There were so many Mexican eateries in Blyth and this our choice.

I stopped by here and was very pleased with the food. I ordered a combo plate of chicken enchiladas and jamaica agua fresca. You definitely get a bang for your buck because it was extremely filling and there was so much food I couldn’t finish it. The place was extremely clean and the staff were super friendly, so it was an overall enjoyable experience. Also, the air conditioning was on blast, perfect in the 90 degree weather. Highly recommend to satisfy your craving for Mexican food.

On our way back home, we decided to eat at this Mexican restaurant and this was right upon our next exit. From tacos, gorditas, tostadas and dinner plates. It was worth it! You have so many dinner plates to choose from. They have the menu right there for you to see behind the counter of the cashier. Make sure you get your aguas fresco’s ! 😊

Overall decent food. I use to just stop by on my way back from Phoenix in my work truck. I'd give them a call and it was ready. Was happy with everything except.... I though the asads breakfast burrito was nasty. If you order it with extra stuff on it I bet it would be better, but to much meat and not enough egg. But it was not a good fit to me in general.

I should have asked if they could put the salsa inside (eating in the car makes it hard to add salsa). Only thing that would make it better is if they used skillet potatoes instead of fries. Great breakfast, borittos. They were big and fat. The prices were decent, and the drive-thru was made this work. It's a little wonky driving up to the window, but it still fine. Just be careful getting close enough and you'll be fine.

My wife had the carnitas plate which was very good. My daughter had the burrito plate which was also good. I had two beef hard shell tacos plate which was okay. It could have been improved by adding tomato. The meat was a bit odd tasting. I should have ordered the carnitas plate instead. It comes with very good tortillas.

Drive thru meal turned out to be a very good choice. Got the beef nachos and breakfast bacon burrito. Both delicious! The breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve had. The chips are worth mentioning. The only thing that wasn’t good (for me) was the pickled carrots and onions from the sauce cart. It was too mushy and I like them crunchy. It’s free so I shouldn’t even be complaining but if you’re going to have them, why not make it as delicious as everything else?

I'm from so cal so I think I'm really spoiled, this place has really good ratings and I went to try it. it wasn't bad at all, but not worth the rating it has for sure. I got the carne asada burrito and it was massive, and fairly bland. it needed a good amount of salsa to be a decent burrito. but despite that, this place is pretty good, pretty cheap and had good customer service

I got a carnitas burrito and it was good. It was packed full of meat, but there were parts that was a little dry. They have a condiment bar and the red salsa was good compared to the green. The restaurant was big and had lots of seats available, at the time I went (around 4:30pm) only 2 tables was occupied. There was a drive-thru line that was long which is why I went inside. Overall the food was good and a good value compared to the other options nearby.

Good Mexican food! for reasonable prices they have a pretty good variety of plates to choose from along with sea food and the restuarant has a room you could watch TV in along with a Bar it's a cool little place. People are nice who work there never have problems with my orders. If anyone hasn't tried this place I'd recommend trying it!

Place very clean. Ordered Rancera casadi quesadilla. Portion was big with good ingredients, but it was very smashed because they used foam boxes. Tast was good, if it was crunchy us supposed to be quesadilla I would give all 5 stars.

Recommended by a friend, we stopped here for a quick bite. I ordered the 2 taco plate with beans and rice. Delicious. Loved the shredded beef, very good flavor. Needed more grated cheese. Chicken tacos were also very flavorful. It’s not shredded chicken but cubed chicken. Also the cheese enchilada. Loved the chips and salsa bar. 3 options for salsa. The 2 red choices were yummy. Didn’t try green. Indoor seating. Lots of room for more tables but I guess most people get to go! Knocked off a star for dirty bathroom with zero hand soap. Hoping the employees have soap for hand washing. I’d stop again!

The food it’s not too bad, I got sopes and we also got a plate of enchilada and tostada, we just didn’t think it would be just cheese and no meat, the shredded beef sole was really good and fulfilling. I will go back to something else. Their Jamaica was okay, not the best but pretty good.

First and last time eating here. The staff was friendly and accommodating but the food was bland and no Seasoning, other than the salsa you can add The restrooms had no soap, so it makes one wonder how throughly the staff washes their hands after using the restroom.

girl that works the window is always rude and something is always wrong with our order when she takes it. came on 1/20 at 1:30 and she just tossed my husband the money in his hand through the window and dropped our change everywhere. everyone else is always friendly and makes sure our order is perfect.

Overall the food is good, nothing screams greatness but also not fast food quality. The service is decent except they cant or dont want to do anything extra like grill a burrito, Multiple times have gotten my order wrong when ordering simple items like a shrimp burrito and get a carne asada instead. Check your bag before you hit the freeway I typically have more respect to check the bag I expect simple order can be done right but I guess not anymore. I guess its blythe service what do you expect.

I thought this place was good. The food was authentic. Prices were a little high for me but still good. Other than the creepy cook starring at my daughter's the whole time and making them feel uncomfortable. It was really good but I won't be back anytime soon for that reason. I will not eat at a place that makes my family feel uneasy.

I am definitely NOT familiar with this cuisine so asked a local where would be the best restaurant and La Paloma was suggested. If you want more professional opinions read the previous comments. From my point of view on a mid-afternoon a popular place with very busy drive-thru and a few customers inside. As stated previously, a large, airy space and a huge kitchen to match the massive menus. Fast efficient service and very reasonable prices. I ordered the beef taco with avocado guacamole and was not very impressed with the bland flavours of both. Perhaps that is what the salsa bar was for.

I give this place two stars because the staff is very friendly and their prices are pretty cheap. Although the portions are pretty generous the two burritos we purchased were horrible. I ordered a breakfast burrito with extra cheese and extra sour cream. They did not put the extra cheese they did not put the sour cream. The burrito was very dry and was not seasoned. Tasted like they didn't even add any salt at all. My wife ordered a chorizo burrito and hers was very dry as well. I think there's a line because of its close proximity to the freeway. We also ordered the five rolled tacos. They tasted microwaved like the kind you get from the supermarket. It's definitely disappointed and wanted to like this place because the staff was so cool. Unfortunately we bought the food and then kept on driving down the freeway so we didn't have time to turn back and return it.

I dined inside the restaurant and ordered the taco and enchilada plate. The enchilada was cheese, no other choices, Taco was beef, no other choice. Meat was shredded or chunky, very chewy and tasted stale and I could not finish it. Meal included refried beans and a Mexican rice which was barely flavored white rice and the beans were almost White and also tasteless. It was not authentic Mexican, I would say it is flavored Mexican food. The only thing on the plate that was more plentiful and fresh was the lettuce. I used the bathroom after my meal, the seat protector receptacle was empty and there was no toilet paper and the Sink did not appear to have been cleaned in a long while. Restaurant Service was friendly and efficient, but food and amenities were sub par.

We stop here because there is always a long line at the drive up. So we thought the food would be good. But my food was cold. Very cold. I had a hamburger and fries. It was so cold I couldn't eat it.

Painfully slow service. Don't bill yourself as a fast food joint if it takes 30 minutes to make a burrito. Food was decent

Ate with the family Thursday morning, the service is outstanding. The girl was very polite but we were disappointed with the food. Not what we expected. Honestly, it was bad even though it had good portions wont be going back.

Tonight January 30th 2024 at 8:15PM I went to order dinner and upon coming to the drive thru window I seen the worker with the pigtails making out with a boy that was on foot at the window. This made me feel a little grossed out about coming to eat here. Very unprofessional I will be returning tomorrow to speak with the owner.

I am not sure where people have eaten that they consider this amazing food. This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. We had the chicken which was a mix of white and dark meat chunks with an abundance of fat. Seriously, if this is the best in town stick to McDonald’s which is next door. The enchilada wasn’t eaten and the Chile relleno was picked at. Save your money. I am baffled why this place is so busy. The salsa had good flavor and the rice and beans were good the rest horrible. It was also quite pricey for the quality.

If I could post 0 stars I would. This lady that was very rude to many people was out of this world! She insulted my coworker in front of us. That was very unprofessional and disgusting. Seems like she was having a bad day because other customers were also getting the ill treatment from her. I'll never step in this fly infested restaurant and I'll make sure to tell my friends, coworkers and family never to step in that place again!!

The shrimp burrito was not good at all, it was cold and soggy. The horchata was watered down, I was very disappointed with especially because it cost so much. As some previous reviews have stated I am not sure how this place was 4.5..Absolutely not. I called because Google says the place is cash only, when I finally got an answer I was hung up on before I could finish my question. I called again and when the girl answered again it sounded like she was laughing? I then began to speak again and she acted like she didn’t know English for a bit and then went to speaking English.. I’m not sure it felt off. Anyway we ordered a few things which came out to $67. Overpriced garbage. It’s giving low quality Texmex. Even the Guacomole was nasty! How?? We could not even finish the food. My husband and I are truck drivers so our options were limited in the area, but I would rather eat Wendy’s than come back here. Drive 60 plus more miles into California and you will find delicious Mexican/Latin food don’t waste your time and money here!
