Thanks to Melissa and Sedrick for making my daughter's 8th birthday dinner one to remember. The service was amazing from the time we walked in the door.

Great food and service. A+. For sure I will return to this wonderful Benihana. Great performance as well.

We had a great experience. Lonnie “the best chef in the house” made sure we were all 100% satisfied. Very entertaining and professional, the kids loved it. We spent almost 2 hours there and we didn’t feel rushed nor mistreated. The food was on point. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The Benihana in Boca is amazing. Our waiter was very kind and vigilant! The food as always was great! The soup was a not very hot, but the waiter brought me a second soup that was piping hot. The chef was nice and funny. He did a great job cooking for us! The food was fantastic! I can't wait to come back to town and eat there again!

I know there are different locations and I’m sure they’re all great so I will add for this one that it was awesome! Our waitress was wonderful and do was our chef Gabriel. They were both sweet and entertaining.

We came in for an early dinner after a family day at the park and it was a great experience. Our server Lisa was great and attentive the entire time and Gabe was the best chef I’ve had at a Hibachi restaurant. He went out of his way to cut our son’s food up into sizes he could eat and help keep him engaged the entire meal. It was a great experience with great food!

Absolutely amazing experience at Benihana! Our waiter Noah was hands-down the best—so attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from start to finish. He truly made us feel taken care of. And Chef G Unit was incredible! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked.

We had the loveliest time for my birthday with husband and my 2 small children. Our hibachi chef Gabriel was a true master and just overall amazing guy who interacted with our kids the whole time and made sure they had the best time. The manager was so nice to come up and ask how everything was. The food was delicious, the same Benihana I remember and have been coming to my whole life. We will be back and will ask for Gabe!

Kevin and Jake were absolutely phenomenal and made our entire Benihana experience unforgettable. Kevin went above and beyond to accommodate every single one of our needs with such professionalism and care—it truly felt like nothing was too much trouble. Jake was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely kind; such a friendly soul who made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Together, they created a flawless dining experience. 10/10 would recommend without hesitation. If you’re coming to Benihana, always request Kevin and Jake—they are exceptional!

It was my wife's birthday and our first time here. I was absolutely blown away! The greeter was a wonderful young man who seated us with a warm manner. To our attentive waiter to the manager who personally said happy birthday to my wife, everyone was great. But it was our chef, Delly, who was the best part of our dining experience. Warm, funny, entertaining and an absolute expert at what he does! Delly, thanks for making my wife's birthday so special. Highly recommended needles to say!! Go!! Ask for Delly.

Benihana offers a lively hibachi experience that the chain is known for. A chef cooks it all in front of you, with witty remarks and trying to make everyone have a good time. Food is salty but tastes good, and the service is very attentive. On the not-so-good-side: Food is overpriced and the wait time for the chef to arrive at the table can be too much, even when the restaurant is virtually empty, so be prepared for that.

I showed up to my reservation late by 18 mins. Emma said reservations are running an hour behind, so she will place me in the 15 minute grace period. I sat in my car and waited for the text. Basically, I didn't get seated for another hour. Stephanie our waitress kept apologizing and was trying to move quickly. Now it is about a waiting time of two hours for food. Once the chef he was trying to confirm our food but this young couple kept changing their order and tried to add last minute menu items and continuous modifications; after our waitress Stephanie kept confirming that they were only getting sides not entrees. It was awful because they still kept making modifications with the chef. Gabe left his cooking station to accommodate this couple and he apologized. I said I know it was Valentine's Day, but don't apologize that couple was not being conscious of others at the shared hibachi table. With this occurrence, our chef Gabe was rushing to cook and had to leave the table numerous times again for additional ingredients. He looked so panicked and confused. I love the restaurant but selfish people have spoiled the experience. Thank you Emma (Night Management), Gabe (Chef) and Stephanie (Waitress)

First time ever at a Benihana restaurant. My sister wanted to check it out for her birthday so I took her. Had reservations for 1300 Hrs. We arrived on time. It took way too long for someone to come up to us and acknowledge us. The young lady was friendly. We were directed to our table. Our server was very nice. Super helpful with the menu and very friendly. Unfortunately, can't say the same about our chef. Not even one smile. Seemed to be having a bad day. Very very dry 🙄. The other Chef behind us was having a great conversation with the customers and putting up a nice show for them. I wish we had the other guy instead. But anyway, we made the best of it. The food was good. Not great but OK. I'm pretty sure that we will not come back again. The whole idea of having Hibachi is that one should enjoy the experience of having the chef cook right in front of you. We made the best of it but it was truly disappointing. Just wasn't fun. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day and safe day.

The food was great. Very well-prepared by our chef who, himself, was very pleasant and outgoing. The staff was friendly and professional. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars throughout, is the wait time. It may be a situation of it being the "dinner rush" or some such. However, the wait was noticeable and I'd say a little annoying. We got there at around 6:30pm and had to wait for the host for almost 20 minutes. While seated, the wait was even longer. All together, we arrived at 6:30, and didn't leave til almost 9pm. Looking around, that wait was not necessary as they were not that busy. Bottom line: the service is friendly, the food is indeed great, however they're not the most efficient, so be prepared to sit and wait for while...... a WHILE, you guys.

When walking in, no one there to greet us for 5 min. Then was told to follow another party and was never given menus. Had to borrow from other family at our table. Food was ok, chicken and little dry and needed lots of sauce. Salad was wilted and soggy. Veggies not cooked enough. Show was cute as always. Atmosphere was great. Manager and waiter sung happy birthday. Just disappointed in the quality of chicken and salad.

Jan6 I met a friend at Boca Benihana for his birthday and to pick up gifts for my niece and nephew. The greeter was pleasant, the location is nice and clean. The server on the other hand was not so courteous. She sat us at one table and then asked us to move to a different table. She took the drink orders and everything seemed fine. However when asking her questions she never let us compete the sentence. She seemed to be in a rush, where too I have no clue. The cook had to stop what he was doing to get a drink menu because she walked off mid sentence when requesting one. At the end of the lunch she just sat the bill on the table and walked away. It wasn't in a sleeve just there thrown down. If i hadn't questioned my friend about if it was our bill or not we would have just sat there waiting for her. No one came to sing Happy Birthday to my friend. We sat unattended for over 5 mins. We had to wave our hands in the air for her to come back to pay the bill. I'm a great tipper because you never know why others are going through until the next payday. However her service didn't warrant a tip. The cook Kobe was amazing I just have to say that and we tipped him. However while cashing out the tip screen popped up and i selected other. The server switched it back to 18%or more as to tell me how I should tip her. I gave her11.00 dollars on a 150 plus dollar bill with great service would have been an easy 50 dollars. She stormed off and bought back the plastic ware and place them on the table and walked off. I wanted to report her to the manager but I thought this review would be better. I've been going to Benihana for over 20 years at least 3 times a week. My now deceased daughter was a regular to the Coral Springs location when she passed at 2 years old 17 years ago they cried because that's how often we attended and how great of a service they provide to the point their customers were like family. I now attend the Stuart location often and their service is top notch! My service has never been so bad. Maybe she was having a bad day, however you should always smile and take your time with all your customers. Listen and pay attention before walking off. I will not visit the Boca location again and I hope they speak to her. I was there around 1pm the last table by the champagne cabinet the first guest for the day.

We had reservations for 6:15 on New years eve. When we arrived 5 minutes ahead of time we were told it would be 15 minutes for our table. When all was said and done it was an hour and 5 minutes before we were seated. The rest of the experience was good but if reservations are made proper organization is necessary in order not to ruin the customers experience. It was the chef at our table that saved the evening for us.

A group of us went to Benihana in Boca Raton for lunch. We were so excited to enjoy hibachi for lunch. However, we quickly realized this lunch would not be an enjoyable experience. When we arrived, no one was there to greet anyone. After standing there for almost 10 minutes, someone came to greet us but said we would need to wait a few more minutes before we were seated. Unfortunately, we would not be able to enjoy hibachi cooked in front of us due to not having a chef available. Therefore we were seated by Ingrid at a booth. After we were seated, it took almost another 10 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. It was becoming apparent they were either short staffed or lacked time management which is why we gave our drink and food orders at the same time. As we were waiting for our food, we noticed more people coming in and leaving after not being seated. We spoke to Ingrid who identified herself as one of the managers what was causing the extensive wait. She began to share how short staffed they were and overall concern about upper management not properly scheduling staff. When we finally received our food, it was time to leave to return to work. Due to the experience Ingrid was kind enough to adjust our bill. However, the overall lunch experience at Benihana's was disappointing for a restaurant who has created a legacy surrounding their experience. I doubt we will return to this location again

I think the biggest problem with this establishment is just poor management. We saw a couple of observations during the evening that disappointed us most likely resulting is just poor organization poorly managed staff and probably unmotivated staff is probably a bigger problem here. We arrived at 5pm after I received a text at 4:45 that our table is ready. Manager (or assistant manager we are unconfirmed on any of the management names) told us to wait on a 5:00 reservation. We didn't even get sitting at our table till 5:10 with an open restaurant They took an extra few minutes to wipe down all the menus before they gave them to us something we feel should have been done at 3:00 or when the staff arrives prepping all the menus. They're not that busy when we arrived with only about two tables actually sitting. The menu had a good selection with pricey items probably not less than $42 but but wait it gets worse. There was a $7.50 up charge on fried rice. On meals that were costing between $42 and $55. Yes you read that right with a little bit of rice with soy sauce they're going to charge you $7.50 extra on top of a 42 or 55.00 meal. Manager(or assistant ) came by at the end of our meal and checked on the ovens on both the table next to us and ours and didn't speak a word or even ask how our evening was. This is a missed opportunity to engage with customers to get a genuine feedback on their experience. We ordered specialty dinners (6 items) including the white rice that didn't arrive till we were completely done with the dinner. Oddly enough this stuff is clearly prepped far in advance as we saw a giant tubs being cooked behind the counter. This is just poor waiter management. After we were all waiting and done for dinner we asked the waiter (Collin) if there was ice cream included with our specialty dinners. He asked us the question "who had specialty dinners " he's the one who took the order he should have known. My feeling is if we didn't remind him about it that would have been another thing that he would have missed. Our cook (Martin) was a really nice guy he was personable and he did really well. I think our waiter (Collin) was distracted with too many other things singing happy birthday with tambourines and other tables and missing out serving us properly. The preparation of the food was a little disorganized forgetting some of the menu items that were ordered until literally everyone else was finished their meal. One of our guests in our party didn't get their chicken till after we were all completely even done. Would I go back? Most likely not Boca has too many other dining options for this sort of pricing value. Poor management under trained staff is not something that I want to drop $55 per person on a table. We can get far much better quality food and service and most restaurants around the Boca Raton restaurants.

Got there 6pm asked if restaurant honored birthday certificate several waiter told me yes. $90 later they didn't honor because it was a weekend . It was my birthday that day. Restaurant was very very very cold made it uncomfortable to eat. 40 minute ride just for this I would have went to Chili's and went somewhere else to have more fun but couldn't ran my budget for tha night. Such a bummer 😞

We visited Benihana West Boca on a Thursday night at 7:15 PM, having made a reservation just in case. The restaurant was busy, and the reservation was necessary, though we still had to wait about 15 minutes. We went to the bar area, which was empty and had no bartender present initially. Apparently, the bartender also manages the bar tables, and it took a while to get a drink. Drinks were priced at $15-16, but the quality didn’t match the cost—my mai tai was overly sweet and weak. Once seated, two friendly servers took our orders, which was the one positive in an otherwise disappointing evening. The food was overpriced and low quality. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp (Samurai Special). My husband got the Hibachi Supreme (chateaubriand and lobster), and he couldn’t finish the steak because it was terrible. My kids ordered from the children’s menu (filet mignon and chicken), which was nearly $30 per plate. For these prices, the quality was worse than expected—comparable to a mediocre frozen steak, and certainly not worth the price. Of course there is always the up charge for hibachi fried rice. It’s $6 extra added to the $50-60 price per entree. And if you want it spicy - it’s $7. Fried rice is still delicious and the shrimp was also good. But the steak tasted like vinegar. Meh. The sake ordering experience added to the frustration. I ordered a 375ml bottle of Nigori sake for $16, but I was brought a small glass instead. My husband had to take it back to the bar to resolve the issue. The bartender acknowledged the mistake and gave us the bottle while saying it would be comped. However, the sake still appeared on the bill when we left. The hibachi chef provided the usual entertaining tricks and fire show, which was fun, but the rest of the meal fell short. We also noticed they were asking diners if they wanted the brown sauce instead of providing it by default, which seemed like a cost-saving measure. Not a big deal, but noticeable. The bathrooms were a disaster. One toilet was clogged, and the other was marked "Do Not Use" because the lock was broken. Towels were strewn across the floor, and the state of the restrooms was appalling. If they can’t maintain basic cleanliness, it raises concerns about the kitchen’s hygiene. I took photos because it was that bad. To top it off, the server awkwardly asked if we could leave the tip in cash, explaining that new ownership delays credit card tip payouts. While I understand servers rely on tips, I did feel uncomfortable searching my wallet for cash - and then felt badly I didn’t have enough cash . Sounds like a bad policy for their employees and perhaps that’s why they’re understaffed. Lame considering the prices. Our total bill came to $288 for a family of four. We expected high prices for hibachi, but the quality and experience were not worth it. My daughter requested hibachi to celebrate her honor roll achievement, but this experience ensured we won’t be returning. I’ll try Saiko next time or stick to other great local steakhouses like Abe & Louie’s or J. Alexander’s, where the quality matches the price. We’ve had good experiences at other Benihana locations, like Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, but West Boca continues to be a major disappointment. I’d recommend avoiding this location until they improve their food, cleanliness, and overall service.

While waiting for our table, I decided to sit at the bar and buy a drink. I sat at the bar for about 10 mins (it wasn't busy) and neither bartender acknowledged me or greeted me.. Needless to say I didnt bother ordering anything.. terrible customer service.

I got the shrimp hibachi burrito and legitimately had 5 shrimp in the whole thing. For $18 I basically paid for fried rice and a tortilla. The fried rice is of course great but in my opinion I shouldn't be able to take multiple bites and not even get a single shrimp in it.

First of all the food was awesome, me and my friends came in the other night to get hibachi. Our chef was named Hector and he was great. Unfortunately our waitress was extremely unpleasant. She made fun of our chef for his height, comparing him to an oompa loompa. She bad mouthed him whenever he walked away and called him greasy and disgusting. She was also rather short tempered with my friend who was asking a lot of questions about the menu and rolled her eyes multiple times. All around her body language was very negative and stand offish. Anyways, maybe Calista was just having a bad day but that doesn't make what she did ok... Still will come back for the food and honestly hope we get Hector again because his cooking was phenomenal and fun to watch.

I've been to this Benihana location countless times ever since it opened in 2018. While it used to be a quite good and reliable restaurant, it has not been up to par since around 2022. It's frustrating to report that I gave this place another try last Sunday for dinner and was disappointed once again. Just like usual, it took about 5 minutes to be able to check in with someone at the host stand and another 10 minutes to get seated even though I had a reservation. The hostess didn't actually walk me to my table, and I realized I'd have to go back to the host stand to ask for a menu. Next, I was waiting about 5 minutes for a server to take my order. I ended up flagging down a random server. I don't remember his name, but he was friendly and seemed more than willing to take my order. I ordered the Hibachi Tuna Steak. My server asked me if I wanted fried rice without making it clear that the fried rice would cost extra. This has happened to me before; the servers seem to be trained to upsell customers in a misleading way. Then, after about 20 minutes, I got my Hibachi Tuna Steak which was plentiful but a bit bland. The actual tuna did not taste particularly fresh. Another important detail? The restaurant was very crowded on the night I went; the loud noise was deafening. A few weeks ago, I even tried ordering takeout from here for the first time ever. When I arrived to pick up my order, I had to wait for a host to greet me and wait for them to retrieve my order. I had already paid for the order online. I probably will not be back.

Reservation at 7:45pm, did not get seated for almost 2 hours. Then another hour for the food. Was there for almost 4 hours. No updates, just excuses non stop. Manager here is clueless. I asked why there are such delays? Was told "It is not a doctors office"...not sure what that has to do with you having zero control of the seating in your own establishment. I will say, Noah was our server and did an amazing job, still provided good service with absolutely zero support. Overall - stay away from this place. Food is pretty good and place has potential, but not with the management team that they have in place.

Terrible experience… server was new messed up our order. Dinner took 2 hours and 15 minutes from that time we sat at the table to finish eating. No show. No chu chu train , no fire nothing. We got a chef at the end of the night that didn’t want to be there. Restaurant was dirty. No tables were being cleaned. Floor was super slippery. Also had flies. Overall experience was not good. This is me giving a good review in comparison to the experience.

I had the worst experience at Benihana, and if I could give it zero stars, I would. Here are the reasons for my disappointment: 1. **Hostess Interaction**: When we walked in, the hostess didn’t greet us warmly. We were the only people in the restaurant, yet instead of guiding us to a table, she seemed to wait for something without acknowledging us. I eventually had to speak up and ask for our table. 2. **Waitress Attitude**: Our waitress, Samantha, was rude and didn’t show any enthusiasm for her job. When I asked if we could start cooking food since we were very hungry and eager to eat, she looked at my family and me with disdain and seemed to roll her eyes. If she’s not interested in working for tips, why is she in the service industry? 3. **Cook's Service**: Our cook had two name tags, one reading "Emiliano" and the other "Adulof," so I’m not sure which is his real name. There were five of us in our party, and a group of three arrived shortly after us. They received double portions of rice while our servings were noticeably smaller. My brother and his girlfriend had warned us about the portion sizes beforehand, but it felt like there was favoritism at play since the other group received much more. When it was time to tip, we decided not to reward the cook due to his poor attitude and refusal to split the food when we shared an order. In the Benihana near our town, one order is usually enough for two or three people 4. **Billing Issues**: When I went to pay with my new credit card, it only covered half of my bill, so I had to use my debit card instead. I mentioned to the waitress that I needed to split the payment. After she handed me the card reader the second time, I overheard her loudly telling a group of regulars that she calls the cops on people who try to leave without paying and takes pictures of their car tags to ensure they cover their bill. After hearing that, I left a two-dollar tip, as I was not able to leave $0.00. I typically tip at least 18%, but that comment was the last straw. It felt wrong to be treated with such suspicion, especially when she was laughing and bonding with the regulars about what she does to non-paying customers. I’m glad I left a low tip because the server noticed it right away and told her group of regulars, “This is why I hate being a waitress, because of people like them who tip like this.” But how can we tip Samantha if you didn't want to serve my family. Additionally, she forgot to bring us our water multiple times, and we had to remind her repeatedly. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service and the treatment we received

This is getting a one star for service not because the staff was bad they did amazing considering what they had to indoor from their corporate office, we made a reservation on valentine's day, I was shocked they had openings considering most restaurants close valentine's day as a booking day and do first come first serve, but in seeing nothing said that it wasn't a day you can't make reservations i made one, come to find out this would be the start of my nightmare, first I had to confirm this reservations 3 times( I did confirm all 3 times) second I get to the restaurant see a line (relived that I made reservations), third i hear if you have been here since 5 please come up front ( it was 7:00 ) me still thinking that these are people who didn't make a reservation i go up front, just to be told reservations arnt being honored today its first come,( so what was the point in making a reservation??? ) I waited around for a hour and a half for this was a special day for me and my BF and we wanted to do somthing fun a special. So after waiting around for a hour and a half by Bf went to check to see where we were in line, then they where ready for us, great! We get to sit! And eat! But then the lady forgot she sat us and skipped over us (just so your aware she said she would call and took down my number there was no intention on calling us) the only reason we got recognized was because the people we waited outside with were all very nice. So corporate just so you know the staff and food where great and considering what you put your workers threw is very unprofessional I found out that 900 people booked online thinking they had reservations, corporate do better next year because I definitely won't be going back just because of this reservations ordeal, if im going to go to a restaurant like this i wouldn't choose benihanas again especially with how much we paid for our meal!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. And I really hate leaving a bad review. Went here with my family for my uncle’s birthday. Had a reservation for 7pm and got there at the exact time. We waited 1.5 hrs for our chef to come out to start cooking our dinner. Such a disappointing experience, food portions were weird and our dishes weren’t even that tasty, salmon was served uncooked, the staff was extremely unattentive, and we tried to pay for almost a half hour after all of that. Deff not worth the premium price. Management needs to get it together.

Chef was handling the raw chicken and meat with cooked food. Same knife, same spatula. All he did was wipe it on a dirty rag but he was using to clean up the area. Disgusting. I couldn't even eat my food. I won't go back and don't recommend it to anybody that cares about their health

I came to this place for my mom’s birthday and it was not the best at all. Our appt was at 7:30pm and we didn’t start eating until around 9:30pm, they sat us down and we waiting over an hour just for the guy to come and tell us the table we were sitting at was never turned on so we had to wait another 10-15 mins for them to then tell us that that the table was actually not working and we had to move to another table. I don’t really have any complaints on the food but the service was not great, there was a group of people that came after us and they were served way before us. They sang a happy birthday song for everyone that was celebrating their birthday except for our table. The utensils were dirty I had to ask the server to change it. To me it’s just not worth it for the price. I wanted to give this place a try because a lot of people were talking about it but I was very disappointed and don’t think I will be back.

Every time I try to go or take my family to this particular benihana in Boca Raton, the service is terrible. For some reason, there is always an issue or miscommunication with reservations made previously. Or when I go for pick up and use the curbside option. It's been a few times where no one has come out to the curbside to deliver the food. And the last time I ordered for curbside pickup no one came and the food was ready for a whole 40 minutes. So when I finally went inside and got my food there were things missing in the order and the food was extremely cold. I never have a good experience at this benihana and I always vow to never go back. I'm done. I even had a nightmare experience taking my whole family there for my daughter's birthday that was turning 10. I had a conversation with the manager that said that I could bring an ice cream cake and they would store it and bring it out for us after our $500 plus meal. And when we arrived there was a different assistant manager there that refused to take the ice cream cake. So the ice cream cake melted and my daughter didn't have her birthday cake that she desired at the birthday party even though it was agreed upon with the manager before we made the reservation.

Our kids asked for hibachi so we went local to Benihana- big mistake. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we sat down rather quickly. 30 minutes later we were asked what we would like to drink. Fast forward to 2 hours later, food still wasn’t cooked, no forks, edamame never arrived, husband’s shirt got burnt from the “fire show” and eyes tearing because the exhaust fans are obviously not working. Why are they taking so many reservations if they obviously don’t have the chefs to accommodate? There also isn’t an Asian chef to be found so obviously place has been sold. Over priced, under staffed and a complete waste of time. Go to elsewhere, you’ve been warned!

We went on Christmas Day and there was over an hour wait for a table with a reservation. We had 2 young kids with us and chose a 5:00 pm reservation and didn’t get seated until almost 6:30. There was disappointment with the vegetarian options as well. 2 of our party members were vegetarians and we made sure to mention this to the waiter. One orderered vegetables and didn’t get any extra vegetables for their meal. They were served the same amount of zucchini and onions as all other guests despite not being able to eat the soup or shrimp appetizers and not having an entree. Additionally, there was 0 lack of awareness for separating the vegetarian meals. One person at the table ordered chicken fried rice and the chicken was cooked simultaneously to the vegetable fried rice and chicken ended up mixed in. The tofu steak ordered by a vegetarian was cooked touching the seafood and meat ordered by other table members. Neither party member requires completely separate cooking utensils, but had expected there would be an attempt to keep vegetarian items separated.

Really poor service. Food was half cooked before we got drinks, soup, salad. Manager seemed indifferent about the poor service. Food was bland. We’re used to Kobe steakhouse - Much better food, prices, and service.

I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was ruined by our waitress, Callista. While the food itself was fine, the service was extremely disappointing. Every time the chef, Hector, walked away from our table, Callista would make disrespectful comments about him and his height and his skin tone. AT ONE POINT SHE EVEN SAID, “if he got any closer to the grill that he would change races” she said this as he was walking away and I have no idea how he didn’t hear it , she was even going so far as to laugh and look us in the eyes while making these insensitive jokes about this really nice man who was a great chef for us. This was very uncomfortable—especially since most of us are Hispanic and we found her behavior to be racist and completely unprofessional. We came to enjoy a meal, not to be put in the middle of degrading remarks toward someone who clearly works hard. It was offensive and showed a lack of respect not only for the chef but also for us as customers.

We had the reservation at 6 pm, it’s 8 pm and the waitress just came to say it will take 15 more minutes for them to take care of us, definitely not coming back!

This restaurant was an absolute disaster!!! One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The prices are outrageous, and they shamelessly try to overcharge you for things you never even ordered. The waitress was rude and dismissive, refusing to fix their mistake when they added items we didn’t get. They even tried to charge us for four kids’ meals when we clearly ordered only two. Every little thing costs extra like $7 for fried rice, extra for veggies, and the bland “basic” hibachi chicken and rice somehow cost $34.50! Even worse, the cook had zero hygiene standards. He used the same knife for raw chicken and other food without cleaning it!!! Absolutely disgusting and unsafe. On top of that, the entire place reeked of old, burnt grease. I walked out smelling awful and had to wash my clothes twice just to get rid of the heavy, oily stench. Dirty, dishonest, overpriced, and careless, save yourself the regret and avoid this place at all costs.

I’m not sure if the prices has changed but I used to come here every Thursday after work to treat myself. I never paid $55 for one person. I got chicken fried rice. You would think the rice comes with the chicken and vegetables but it doesn’t you have to pay a whole $9 . I could have gone to kimura and gotten way better service and good food for half the price

I just left this place for my mom’s 64th birthday. I have never had a worse experience in my life. The chef started cooking before our water, soup and salad was served. That was after waiting 40 minutes for the chef to arrive. We then tried to pay and split the bill and the server continued to have issues. I had to BEG THE manager TO HELP the server. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND WILL MAKE SURE TO PASS ON THE NOTE TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Christmas Nightmare. Do Not Book. Booked a 7:15 pm table for eight on Christmas through OpenTable. When we arrived, we were told they were “about an hour behind.” That hour turned into more than two. To their credit, they tried to placate us with a couple of rolls and some edamame while we waited. But at that point, we were stuck. On Christmas night, there’s nowhere else to go. The wild part? While we were standing there waiting, OpenTable was still actively taking new reservations. Dozens of people were already backed up. The restaurant blamed OpenTable. OpenTable kept taking bookings. Everyone shrugged. Once we were finally seated, the food was average at best and overpriced. And charging extra for fried rice at a hibachi restaurant? Seven dollars? That’s a first. The manager was apologetic and the staff did their best, but the night was already underwater. It felt less like dinner and more like the Titanic. Polite crew, inevitable outcome. This was my last Benihana visit. Jordan Belfort tried to tell us.

I never want to leave a bad review ever and this is my first one. Honestly, quite upset with this meal we have dined here multiple times and never had an experience like this. I chose Benihana's because it was my birthday and did not receive what was expected. We arrived at 7:02 the reservation was for 7 we waited until 7:12 to be seated food didn't start coming around till 7:42 our orders were in for a while at this point. Our chef seemed nice, but portions were not properly portioned out as well as no mentions of my birthday however there was another guy at the other end of the table celebrating his birthday, and he got all of the mentions "since it's your birthday, l'Il do this" just felt like I wasn't even there... The food was not nearly as seasoned as it should've been, chicken ended up being very dry. We also wanted fried rice but they ended up charging us for chicken fried rice which was not what was asked for and more expensive. As I mentioned earlier portions were very small in fact the whole table ate their portions of food, whenever I have gone here I've always had a take away container. There was a solo person sitting at the end of the table. He ended up getting a mountain of rice that he didn't finish because he got all of our other portions... had to wait over 20 minutes for a water refill. We also asked for more sauce never ended up getting that. Even though the tub of sauce was right next to the chef. We ended up speaking to the manager, but he did nothing and brushed everything off. To top things off our meals did not come with everything they were suppose to we were missing items and didn't realize until the end. Highly upset and dissatisfied with the service considering I'm paying around $80 for this food.......

No bueno. Waited an hour after we made a reservation. All the staff unhelpful. Got to our table charging 7.50 for fried rice barely changed the rice had to ask for extra vegetables. Guy did no tricks with the fire or towers when the other guys were doing it around us. Food was solid though. Had to ask to bring out the ice cream because they weren’t going too. Get the bill and after we tried to split the bill the waitress tried to get the guy paying second to tip double. Wouldn’t go here wanting something entertaining but food was good.
