I was looking for dinner and literally followed my nose here. The smells are incredible. Ordered the wok eggplant and it did not disappoint. My only complaint was that it was too hot (temperature) to shovel in my face as fast as I wanted to devour it.
Great place to eat! Super nice staff and great tasting food! We visited after traveling to Muir Woods Park, kids loved the food as well. We had the yellow curry, massam curry, fried rice, and samosas. Must visit!
Amazing Thai food in Sausalito with good spice level and great service. The staff is wonderful at Arawan. We had shrimp tom yum soup, red curry beef, green curry chicken and the portions were generous enough that we skipped dessert
Wonderful casual place to have great food with family. Always fresh and fast service. Great for lunch or dinner with the whole family. They make the best Tum Yume soup. We also like their mango salad ( my kids favorite). Very friendly with children.
Hands down, this place serves the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried numerous dishes here, including the Thai samosa, spicy basil fried rice, pad Thai, yellow curry, and red curry. I appreciate how they strike a perfect balance, avoiding excessive sweetness while incorporating a subtle blend of spices that truly enhance the flavors.
One of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. Food was too good and I forgot to get pictures of it but we got the Tom ka soup, papaya salad, and kra pa wok entree. The flavors were phenomenal, especially the wok dinner. We got mango sticky rice for dessert which was also great. The rice is extra though.
We drive all the way from Sonoma just for this restaurant. The prices are great (cheaper than in Sonoma!), portions are generous, and the food is always outstanding. Our favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area!
SUCH DELICIOUS PAD THAI. Omg I am dreaming of having this dish again. Also so many vegetarian options! I also loved the Thai tea latte- such a sweet and refreshing add on to this meal. Staff was also so kind and accommodating! Will definitely have to come back.
Delicious thai food, fried rice was full of wok hei! Place is clean and peaceful, staff was very warm - top notch hospitality. If only the soup was slightly spicier, it would have been super perfect.
This is an amazing restaurant with the taste of Thailand! The Tom Kha coconut coup with seafood was healthy and tasty! Pineapple fried rice with shrimp was delicious! Highly recommend 😋
Excellent food, huge portions, great price. I got the Pad Kee Mow with Pork - serving was enormous and perfectly aromatic.
The food was delicious and the portions very generous. After being in SF most of the time on our trip, this was a welcome rest from the hustle and bustle. The yellow curry was savory. The Pad See Ew tasty as well. A local's favorite with awesome decor.

Popped in for lunch while staying in Sausalito. Incredibly kind and attentive staff. Everything we ate was so delicious especially the flavorful tom yum soup and parang curry. We also had the crispy tofu amazing texture and the ginger tea was also great and not too sweet.
Cosy Thai cuisine restaurant near San Fransisco city.. We had ordered Thai green curry and Yellow curry with sticky rice and PadThai.. all dishes were good in taste. Due to weekend it was difficult to find a suitable parking near the restaurant.. but its ok.. staff was supportive .. overall it was a good experience..
Solid Thai place offering tasty curries, fried noodle and wok dishes. Portions are generous and staff was attentive and friendly. We had the Yellow Curry and Ginger Wok and both were great. You'll need to order rice extra, they offer jasmine, brown and sticky rice. On a Sunday around 1230 we were the only customers. Not the best outdoor seating (especially compared to the restaurants next door) but indoors it's cozy.
Swung by this place for a quick lunch while is Sausalito. Food’s priced generously and tasted delicious. They have cool decorations and the service was great when I went there!

This is the place to go if you arrive to Sausalito, and you find out that in your casual attire, you cannot enter any other eatery. We have tried the tea leaf salad - never had something like that. We also tried the sizzling eel sizzling, delicious. I also ordered the ginger tea, this one was on the sweet side. The service was pretty fast. One of the servers told us they had been around for a long time: 10 to 15 years! Incredible... As for the patrons, it seems that this place draws everyone who is not dressed to enter any other restaurants in the area. This time, it worked for us!
Went for a quiet evening stroll and ended up at Arawan thai in Sausalito. Hadn't stepped foot inside in over ten years, its nice to see the place widened up and more art deco on the walls and all around. I remember the food being incredible back then. It wasn't the same case anymore but they were hospitable, only issue i had was the tom yum being a little bland, and it came out so fast. the second entree was great. I am a big fan of bamboo shoots and nice to see a place that has soft bamboo shoots, will be back again. Noise level was quiet, great for small groups!
Service is great at this restaurant and ambiance is really good and cozy. Food was a let down though. We have tried this restaurant before and it used be good but our recent experience was not that good. Spring rolls were over fried, we ordered pad kee mao and pad ka prow both spicy and they were both tad sweet. We drove an hour 15 mins with high hopes of eating some spicy Thai food in the cold weather but disappointed. Hope they will improve their spice level and we will try them again
The experience at Arawan Thai Cuisine left me underwhelmed. Pad Thai: Unfortunately, the pad Thai was disappointing. It lacked flavor and tasted super bland, which made it far from enjoyable. Service: The service was below expectations. The staff wasn’t very helpful, and it felt like they weren’t particularly attentive or engaged. Ambience: The ambience was decent, offering a fair level of comfort, though nothing particularly memorable or noteworthy. Arawan Thai Cuisine didn’t quite meet the mark for me, both in terms of food and service.

Ordered takeout, only reviewing the food. Look, I know ingredient costs are up but there's absolutely no excuse to scam customers. So disappointed in the food here - ordered one of their seafood specials, Prawn Lost In The Woods - compare the description to what I got. No black wood ear mushrooms, only a couple of sad button mushrooms, not a snow pea in sight, broccoli and parsley and heaps of bamboo. It was sitting in flavorless water, not a hint of oyster sauce. Even dumping sriracha in there did nothing. The shrimp had a tough, rubbery, overcooked texture. If they didn't have half the ingredients, don't offer the dish, or at least let me know so I could order something they have. I literally could have scraped this dish together myself from Costco frozen broccoli I had in the freezer where I'm staying. My co-diner got Pad See Ew, again devoid of any kind of flavor, no gai lan that characterizes this dish or even spinach to imitate it, just the same frozen broccoli and carrots. I found big rice noodles still folded up as they were in the package, untouched by any of the tasteless sauce! This is just plain lack of the most minimal cooking effort. The Imperial roll appetizer was a decently filling pork meat roll, though with no evidence of shrimp or taro. We expected the mun tod to be like tempura or pakoras, but got soggy and unappetizing battered fries - this may have been from sitting in the box waiting for takeout, but nothing else has an excuse for such watered-down, bland flavor. We were hungry having missed lunch while hiking all day so we ate some of this, but it was the worst meal I've had in weeks, and I would never have accepted food missing most of the menu ingredients if it were brought to my table. The best that can be said for it is that we didn't immediately fall physically ill.

Not recommended, especially when better options are so close. They were an hour before closing when I ordered delivery before getting home, yet I arrived and discovered they’d canceled my order to go home early on a Thursday. ThaiTanic has always been transparent, much better service, and the food feels like you’re right back in Thailand. Go there if it’s open! You’re welcome.

I am very upset. I ordered Thai iced tea and it was 90% ice. Then I ordered a chicken dish and they added bamboo without asking me and there was hardly any chicken. It was strange with bamboo and had no chicken. I paid $35 for bamboo and ice. I am never going again and the place is always empty. Do not recommend. Don’t waste your money.
