Sonic Drive-In in Borger has been one of our favorite places to go to eat for years the food is excellent the prices are reasonable but best of all the people are great. They have some of our favorite foods there were hamburgers are in all-time favorite in the hot dogs are extraordinary. I was truly blessed when they put the sausage egg and cheese croissants on the menu. We are most often they are entering happy hour to get the discounted drinks I have a wide variety slushes shakes Coke as well is flavored teas and in a foam cups don't sweat all over the place. Lately we've enjoyed the specials that are texts to our phone. Have not tried Sonic app yet but that's our next thing to do.

Service was fast, friendly and cheerful. The food was cooked perfectly and the drinks were exactly what the Summer heat was calling for. I will say that they had a bit of a hard time hearing me through the microphone. And in my personal opinion, the Borger Sonic is substantially better than the one in Pampa hands down!!

Ordered 2 breakfast burritos that were absolutely delicious. Eggs were fluffy, bacon was crispy overall the best I've had in town.

best workers ever! They bring my drink out in the cold when the person in the drive thru in front of me orders food! Best diet coke in town.

Was trying to order in app. But it kept telling me can't order at this location. So we told the ppl inside they was nice and said hold on sending someone out to help. Duh me it wasn't even on their location. So that was on me for sure lol. But only thing we didn't like was took a long time to get anyone on speaker. And there really wasn't a lot of other customers here at the time. So couldn't understand why no response for such a long time. To the few ppl that helped, the person on speaker and the person that came out thank y'all so much. We appreciate y'all.

The food was about what you would expect. The service was prompt and polite. The only downside was the atmosphere. Nothing really helps this location, I'm afraid. The pulled pork "totchos" were easily the best value item ordered, and that was with several items half price.

My burger was delicious but the French fries were ice cold. Didn't know until I got home though.

My drink is made different every time we go I'm not sure what they are doing different but it seems they struggle compared to other sonics.

I love my Sonic but they're starting to get orders wrong more often. Please don't turn into McDonald's.

It's alright, just wish kids would take more pride in their work and put stuff together properly.

Meh. It's really 50/50 on the like and hate scale. Sometimes they're good sometimes they take forever and u better not have anywhere to be for a good 30 min. Have to say they get my orders correct more than any other fast food place in borger.

We had to repeat our order multiple times and even then, we ended up missing parts of it. This can partially be blamed on the new person who took our order, but there were multiple people just standing around doing nothing. Nothing as far as I could tell, looking at them through the help wanted signs taped on the window.

Food was good. Service was good. The grill was broken so I could not get my cheeseburger. The seating arrangements are ok, but it was about 95 degrees so I recommend sitting in your car.

Burger was cold last 3 times I've gone. Not even Luke warm. Cold to the touch. At least the tots were hot and crispy.

Food is great but every time I do a future order it is never ready. I still end up waiting 10 to 15 minutes.

I only went because my daughter wanted something. I don't go anymore because workers were complaining they were being inconvenienced by people who ordered food from the drive thru. I hate that this happened because I was a frequent visitor. 😢

This place is usually good with food quality, but honestly can be hit or miss. For fast food, it's pretty expensive. I suggest trying the iced coffee, it's affordable and very delicious.

The service was sloooow on this last Sonic visit. Our grilled cheese sandwiches were dry and tasteless. The 44 oz. Diet Dr. Peppers were good until we discovered that the drinks we ordered as "easy ice" were actually 3/4 full of ice. This latest visit makes 2 times in a row that our "easy ice" request has been ignored, even though the receipt clearly says "easy ice". That's expensive ice when you're paying almost $4 (figuring in tax) for a 44 ounce drink. Well, at least the tater-tots were good and hot.

Food was good but not at all what I ordered I got fried poppers and I ordered fried pickles not sure how that makes sense they are not the same and the two people running the window and speaker was kinda rude and had no friendlyness about them they look young the girl rolled her eyes when ask a simple question and the guy just look confused I usely love there drinks and the one I got just wasn't that great they seemed like they didn't want to work or be there I do work for a fastfood service myself so I know mistakes happen but getting an order that you didn't order kinda sucks

Tried to use the app and it would not finnish. Therefore i wound up having to pay full price. Not happy. What good is having the app if its useless.

For a while we could get a correct order. Now they're back giving you the correct receipt with the wrong food order in the bag. I live 17 miles away from Borger, so going back to get the correct $16.00 order is too costly. Rather disappointed. Probably won't go back. We didn't see anyone at or beyond the window that had a mask on.

Friendly and fast staff. However, the chicken tenders were not good... almost only the crust and not much chicken...

Edit: this is NOT for the Borger TX, Sonic. This is for the Sonic on Portland in Norman, Ok. Worse Sonic around. Bacon is always charred and brittle. Cups always over filled with ice, and very little room for soda, and burgers are more lettuce and wilted tomato's than anything else. Drive a little further to the one on 24th and Robinson by Homeland to get a meal better worth your money.

Below average Sonic. Hamburger was below average. Large coke was so filled with ice, there was likely less than 10oz of coke in it. Nobody wants to pay extra for large and get nothing extra. Not this franchise fault, but advertising 1/2 price shakes after 7 and then telling customers thats only available for orders on the APP. Its BS! Come on sonic, not all your customers want to download your app and perhaps those customers are or were very loyal! Just because your tech department wants to increase application orders doesn't mean its right to punish people who don't use application or just want to pay cash. I bought my milkshakes next door at your competition. This is a very generous 4 stars. I own a business that caters to travelers and understand that any rating below 5 stars is not acceptable. Your staff is good, your product isn't. Yesterday I puechased icecream and it was melting and dripping when it was handed to me out the window. Come on man, you can do better than this. Update: October 5: for a while, you sold from a $1.99 menu and included small shakes. I'm in Borger caring for my elderly parents who are ill. Sweet mom told me a sonic shake would taste good, are they still $1.99? Briefly checked the internet to confirm and took off to get the folks a shake. At drive through I ordered 2 shakes and a large tot. Price about $10.30. Grabbed the order at window and drove off but quickly realized there are no tots. Went back to get the tots, was met by an army of rude so, I asked for a refund. Was at first told no but later told to return to my car for my the money. Dear sonic, your system sucks!!!!! Old people see your ads but they don't use apps. They like your stuff but expect all prices to be the same, even those prices ordered and paid for the old fashioned way, cash. Can't wait for your Braum's neighbor to reopen. You've lost a good customer.

Waited 30 minutes tried calling on speaker to explain that we never received our order never answered we finally left. This is the first time this has happened. We will be bypassing the Borger Sonic and going to Dumas from now on.

Probably one of the worst sonics about putting marinara dipping sauce in with your mozzarella sticks. It's sad when you can't even trust that they'll do their job and put it in the bag with the mozzarella sticks

Don't even bother getting breakfast here. For the third time in a row their supersonic breakfast burrito is the size of their dollar menu breakfast burrito. The sandwiches have gotten smaller as well. Everything is always cold. They give you old nasty tots. They are not even semi-warm. Not a one-time experience this is multiple times coming in here trying.

Went to use the app to get my “half off” pricing they used to do for happy hour and my app kept telling me they were having technical difficulties. When I asked the lady if I could still get my discount she told me no because everyone else’s had been working. (I ALSO SHOWED PROOF) I told her never mind and that it was ridiculous. It wasn’t even about the money. I drove across the street and paid way more for better drinks. I just feel that was poor customer service. Thanks for nothing! I’ll take my business somewhere else.

The Fast-Food Equivalent of a Dilapidated Gas Station Restroom. Let me start off by saying that I have never had high expectations for a Sonic Drive-In. It’s fast food. It’s grease and sugar in a bag. It’s the kind of place you hit up when you’re too lazy to make a sandwich or when you’ve already committed to making poor life choices. But even with the absolute rock-bottom expectations I had, this Sonic in Borger, Texas, somehow managed to limbo its way even lower. This place is a disaster. First off, the place looks like it survived a Category 5 tornado—and then nobody bothered to clean up afterward. Half the ordering stalls are broken. No signs, no “Out of Order” stickers, just dead screens like something out of a dystopian sci-fi flick. I pull up to one of the few working stalls, hit the button… silence. I wait, I hit it again… nothing. No “We’ll be right with you,” no “Our system is down,” just radio silence. Meanwhile, I can see the guy at the drive-thru window standing there, probably texting his girlfriend about how much he hates his job. At this point, I’m in too deep. I should have just driven away, but no—I’m a glutton for punishment and, dammit, I wanted a Route 44 Sweet Tea and some Cheese Peppers. So I pull up to the drive-thru instead. And guess what? Same thing. No answer. Just me, sitting there, looking like an idiot, wondering if I’d accidentally pulled into some abandoned relic of a Sonic from 1998. Finally, after what felt like a court-mandated waiting period, some kid mumbles, “Hold on a minute.” No greeting, no energy, no sense of urgency. Just pure, soul-crushing indifference. Like I had personally inconvenienced him by showing up to the place where he works. I place my order, drive up, and this dude at the window? Rude as hell. No eye contact, no “Hey, how’s it going?”—just grunts and sighs like he’s a medieval peasant being forced to hand-feed a king. And then—the pièce de résistance—he takes my card and swipes it so hard it cracks. CRACKS. This is a plastic debit card, not a stale breadstick. How hard do you have to be swiping to physically damage it? And of course, no apology. Just hands it back like, “Meh, not my problem.” So let’s summarize: ✔ Broken stalls – Check ✔ Nonexistent service – Check ✔ Hostile employees – Check ✔ Card-breaking window gremlins – Big ol’ check This place needs a total overhaul. The building needs a bulldozer, the staff needs a lesson in basic human decency, and corporate needs to step in before this place becomes a post-apocalyptic wasteland. If this Sonic were a movie, it’d have a zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes and still be too generous of a rating. Gave Sonic another try after a few months to see if the service had improved. Ordered a chicken sandwich, chili cheese coney and tots. After 20 mins of watching the drive-thru come and go. Pushed the red button to ask about our order, their reply "oh it just came ready, we'll get it out" The food came right out but it was apparent it had set there for awhile. None of it was hot at all. So so tired of not receiving the service we pay for.
