Excellent place, wide selection of beers and wines. The interior is very spacious, with plenty of tables, and the decor is elegant, Gothic or medieval-style, although the area is quite dark, intentionally so. I was disappointed only because the kitchen was already closed at 11:30 PM, and I couldn't even get a portion of fries. Furthermore, they didn't serve me any cocktails, even though the place had suitable drinks; they recommended and gave me a red beer and a spritz, but that was all. The atmosphere is quite chaotic due to the number of people who crowd the pub on weekends, and sometimes the younger ones talk very loudly, move around, and pop in and out to smoke. There's no parking, at least not private parking for the venue: there are spots on the street and in Piazza San Gottardo, but unless you arrive after 11 p.m., you'll be virtually unable to find a spot. It's best to plan ahead and use a single car to accommodate multiple people, avoiding the hassle of searching for multiple parking spaces, which are also paid until 7 p.m., as they're all blue.

The place is full of kids (18-22 years old) drinking two beers, they can't even stand up anymore and they're looking for trouble. After that, let's move on to the question: if you want to talk to a girl, you'd better leave the place because inside they play the music louder than a nightclub. If you're a quiet person who likes high-end clubs, I strongly advise against this place.

The beers are classic pub fare, nothing to complain about. I had a good bruschetta. Big problem: an overwhelming stench of fried food pervades the entire place. The ventilation needs a complete overhaul if you don't want to go home with smelly clothes. After all these years, it's time to renovate the place. November 2024, Update 5 years after the first review: it's gotten even worse.

If only we'd read the reviews first!! The staff was uninterested and annoyed. Upon arrival, they greeted us indifferently without showing us to our table. We placed our order, and only after a long wait were they told that many of the ingredients were missing and therefore what we'd ordered wasn't available (and we're talking about a Saturday night, not a weekday), so we were forced to order something we didn't want. An appetizer never arrived, and only arrived after we asked, but it was too late. The burger was dry and nothing special. Absolutely not recommended.

We were treated terribly. We made a reservation, saying they'd wait for us. We arrived 45 minutes before closing time, and they told us we'd also be getting sandwiches. The music was deafening and shrill. Only after a while did they turn it off. Then another waiter came and said he'd only bring us fries and beer because they were closing. There were five of us, and they only served us a plate of fries with some mixed fried food that they'd surely have left over. After politely asking for something else, they brought us a small bowl of taralli and a bowl of bagged fries. And this dish cost a whopping €25. We asked for pricing, and he turned his back on us and walked away, leaving us with another waiter, and they only asked for cash. They treated us arrogantly and rudely.
