Excellent chocolate, place was crowded but service was quick
I've known Gelateria Italia for 50 years...it's phenomenal. It's an institution in Valsesia. If you happen to pass through Borgosesia, try their sweet treats.
The ice cream and hospitality were excellent as always. We've known each other our whole lives.

A historic gelateria in Borgosesia, offering excellent products, served by both the owners and the staff with great expertise. Inside, the atmosphere is refined, while outside there are tables for dining.
A bar that has offered excellent quality for years; Piercarlo (master ice cream maker) is a perfect example of a dedicated, friendly, kind, and helpful person. All this is family-run: Daniela is affable, charismatic, and always smiling; Andrea is quick, eager, and determined... and the great Piero is professional, respectful, and meticulous. The ice creams are fabulous, especially the chocolate, hazelnut, almond, cream, and pistachio ones (with a one-of-a-kind Smurf). Breakfasts are incredible, with endless varieties of brioches... and new additions: little tarts with lemon cream and meringue.
In addition to the place being very nice, with a fairly select clientele, for me their ice cream is the best... you can feel the genuine taste, probably quality ingredients but at the same time it is good and not "washed out". The staff is almost all kind... especially the 2 who I think are father and son. The best we have here (in my opinion)🤩😋
So many memories. I've been coming to this café for breakfast since I was a child with my mother. It's always been an excellent café/cake shop for its various artisanal sweet specialties. As a result, the menu is extensive and delicious, and the family management gives the place a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The owner and his daughter have been running the business for years and are now a point of reference for the locals. So, all things considered, based on my personal experience and the excellent management they've maintained over the years, I highly recommend it to everyone.

My opinion is that a place is made by the staff who work there, who must be welcoming and professional, and the products must be of high quality. At Bar Gelateria Italia, you'll find a friendly and welcoming family atmosphere and, above all, professional expertise in high-end pastry making. Plus, Carlo's gelato is unbeatable!
The restaurant has been recently renovated to perfection, retaining all its character. Quality service and spectacular desserts, each one better than the last, from the Sacher torte to the lemon cake, including what I believe to be the restaurant's star dessert, a superlative newcomer. Definitely a place worth visiting.
A very refined venue. Excellent service. A delightful breakfast featuring exquisite coffee, plain or mixed, and delicious croissants. Your palate can delight in the excellent desserts and artisanal ice cream.

A lovely little place to stop for not only a coffee, cappuccino, and other coffee drinks, but also to enjoy some delicious homemade pastries, which are also available for takeout. A pleasant place, fast service, and friendly staff. Recommended if you happen to be in Borgosesia; there are also several Carnival events taking place during this time, and this place is right next to a convenient parking lot.
In the town center with ample parking in front. Perfect for breakfast and bar service. With restrooms. Friendly staff. Quick service. Very professional and precise.
I got into the store with my son and saw other people serving themselves with the ice cream. So I asked the guy serving coffee if it was self serving, he said yes. There was no sign to tell you what to do. My son grabbed a cone and was choosing the flavor, when the most rude woman in my traveling life got the cone from his hand and tell us “there is no touching the food with your hands”, looking at us like we were trespassing. We obviously were targets of hate against non Italian customers. Don’t go to this place!! THERE’ NO EXCUSE FOR RUDENESS, a business owner should NEVER treat customers like that.
