We've been guests at this wonderful hotel for 33 years. We spend a few days in Cravanzana several times a year and appreciate the warm hospitality of Maurizio, Pinuccia, and their sons Diego and Fabio. Conversations with the family are always enriching. We appreciate the excellent regional cuisine and the extensive selection of reasonably priced wines. Pinuccia's dishes, beautifully prepared, are excellent. The restaurant service is very friendly, and Maurizio's wine recommendations are always interesting. In the summer, we enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful pool, which, fortunately, is reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The rooms are always very clean and well-maintained, and functionally furnished. "Da Maurizio" is a place where we always feel at home. An excellence of the Langhe not to be missed The restaurant "Da Maurizio" in Cravanzana is a true pearl nestled among the Piedmont hills. Each dish is a hymn to tradition, enhanced by raw materials of extraordinary quality, treated with respect and passion. The agnolotti with butter and sage are simply divine: the thin pasta encloses a tasty and delicate filling, enhanced by the simplicity of a classic seasoning that leaves room for the authentic taste of the ingredients. The guinea fowl is tender, juicy and fragrant, cooked to perfection and capable of surprising for its intensity of flavor and lightness at the same time. A dish that conquers at the first bite. The braised meat is a masterpiece: soft meat that melts in the mouth, flavored by a long cooking in wine that enhances every nuance. Rich, enveloping, irresistible. Finally, the rabbit roll is an elegant expression of peasant cuisine revisited with mastery. Tasty but delicate, stuffed with ingredients that blend together perfectly. All this is accompanied by a sincere welcome and a warm and relaxing atmosphere, where you really feel at home. "Da Maurizio" is proof that great cuisine comes from solid roots, excellent ingredients and expert hands that know how to tell stories through flavors. A must-see for those who love to eat well.

This was truly one of the best places we have stayed in the Langhe region. The room was clean and quiet and contained everything that you might need, and the beds were super comfortable. The restaurant has some great food, especially the dishes with the local hazelnuts are incredible. But more than anything, the host really went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. He even got up extra early (before the scheduled time) to prepare the breakfast just for us, so we could start our planned hike on time. Highly recommended!

Just 5 stars? That's not enough. Enchanting place, with a relaxing view. EXCELLENT cleanliness, I was amazed! I'd say EVERYTHING was very good. Kindness, courtesy, and helpfulness were the main features, which is not to be taken for granted. Bathrooms, showers, and a small gym next to the pool make this hotel even more charming. I had a wonderful weekend and will definitely return. Highly recommended, my score is 10 with honors.

If you want to enjoy the authentic cuisine of Piedmont, then Maurizio is the place to be. But perhaps even more for his cheeses and extensive wine list the place is certainly worth a visit. The restaurant is beautifully located in the small village and with beautiful weather you may dine on the terrace with breathtaking views. Oh, and if you're there, stay in the hotel above the restaurant! Then, at breakfast you can feast on a delicious piece of hazelnut cake (torta di nocciole): one of the many regional specialties.

Piatti della tradizione cucinati in modo impeccabile Da provare assolutamente la rollata di faraona e le paste fatte in casa. I dolci meriterebbero una visita a parte per poter essere assaggiati tutti (cosa che noi abbiamo comunque fatto 😂) Cantina molto ben assortita nella quale spiccano eccellenze e curiosità del basso Piemonte. Da visitare assolutamente anche se si trova un po' fuori dalle rotte principali della Langa. Per provare le stanze torneremo in un'altra occasione

Abbiamo trascorso un we lungo da Maurizio. Albergo gestito dalla famiglia da diverse generazioni. Camere semplici ma con materasso e cuscini comodissimi e bagno spazioso Frigo e cassaforte Bella piscina e giardino per rilassarsi e, soprattutto rinfrescarsi dopo le gite in bici o a piedi Pulizia ineccepibile. Colazione ottima con dolce (torta di nocciole ottima) e salato e a richiesta uova, frutta Abbiamo cenato 2 volte. Menù con 4 scelte x ciascuna portata di piatti della tradizione. Sapori genuini. 5* al gelato di nocciola e al carpaccio e ai cannelloni. Senza nulla togliere al resto Grazie a Maurizio e alla sua famiglia per l'ospitalità, la gentilezza e la passione nel portare avanti la tradizione di famiglia

Location spettacolare 😍 cibo non solo buono buonissimo 😋 e genuino, 🍷 vino di ottima qualità, personale gentilissimo, pezzi accessibili (rapporto qualità prezzo). Noi abbiamo solo pranzato ma la location ha anche camere per il pernotto e soggiorno, c'è la piscina e un panorama da sogno. Un consiglio...VISITATELO!

Tipica cucina piemontese con piatti di ottima qualità e una buona selezione di vini. L'accoglienza è cordiale, con controllo del Green-pass e il servizio veloce. L'ambiente è gradevole, pulito e ampio.

La posizione è molto bella, la vista altrettanto, il cibo a filiera corta legato alla tradizione locale è squisito. Ottima la carta dei vini. L'albergo dispone di una piscinetta pulita e ben tenuta da cui si può godere della stessa bella vista che si ha dalle camere, peccato solo che non ci sia una zona d'ombra o dei semplici ombrelloni. Le camere molto spartane dispongono di un buon materasso e una vista sulla collina, sarebbe stato gradito trovare delle ciabattine, del bagnoschiuma sufficiente per almeno 2 docce, un posacenere sul balconcino. Colazione buona ma minimal servita al tavolo. Se ci si vuole fermare anche per pranzo visto che i coperti sono molto pochi e non vi è interesse per loro a farne di più vi consiglio di prenotarlo per tempo, altrimenti come successo a noi non troverete posto!

Vino solo bottiglia, niente a bicchiere. Abbiam dovuto bere acqua. Iormaggio sulla pasta abbiam fovuto chederlo specificamente e ci è stato dosato con molta parsimonia e subito allontanato. Il condimento della pasta avrebbe dovuto essere con funghi porcini dei quali non abbiam sentito profumo né prrsenza. Anxhe il pane era dosato con parsimonia. Perché risparmiare in questo modo? Boh. Esperienza triste. Ovviamente: MAI PIÙ

For the past three years, my girlfriend and I have been loyal guests of this property: a week's vacation every summer, seven or eight lunches and dinners, and we've often recommended the place to family and friends (this year alone, eight more thanks to us). On average, we spent around €1,500 per vacation here. Unfortunately, in August 2025, our experience was disappointing and has led us to never return. We asked Maurizio about the possibility of a lunch and pool day with my family. He initially refused due to insurance and availability reasons, then mentioned that perhaps Sunday would be possible. Upon our arrival, when I asked in person, he was overly nervous and rude, in front of other guests. I felt treated arrogantly and disrespectfully. The next day, we went to another agriturismo (Cascina Prato), where we had lunch and used the pool without any problems: a warm welcome, excellent food, and a beautiful sunset. From that moment on, we decided not to eat here anymore and only use the pool. On another occasion, when no one was in the pool, we took a dip. Maurizio's wife came over and rudely scolded us, calling us "children" for wetting the poolside a little (an inevitable occurrence when swimming). She hadn't spoken to us in three years, and the first time she did so was to scold us. Finally, on the day of check-out, despite having vacated the room only 5 minutes after the agreed-upon time (11:35), we were again aggressively reprimanded by his wife, accusing us of disrespecting the cleaning lady. We paid the bill (lower than in previous years because we no longer ate at the property) and chose to spend the money elsewhere, finding excellent hospitality at places like Osteria da Cecco, Trattoria della Torre, and Antico Podere Tota Virginia. A real shame: if there had been more respect and politeness, we would have returned in future years. But after this experience, they will never see us again. Maurizio, this sentence is for you, the reader. If you had responded politely and your wife hadn't directed her rudeness at us, we would still be there, like we have been for the past three years, for the next few years. After what happened, I forgive you because I understand that you are "tired," that you "can't stand people anymore"... but you will never see us again. As your wife says, "we'll go to a facility of our caliber"... where they treat us well.

Expensive and still everything is extra, like pool towels etc. The restaurant was really not good. Food grey and boring, overcooked, slow, and the desserts we tried was terrible. Very slow and uninterested service as well.
