Great place to get authentic Mexican food at reasonable price $. Cook (Esteban) and waiter (Eli) very friendly and courteous! Atmosphere is clean and what is expected of a casual eat in establishment. Food choices were adequate and quality were superb! Came here for a snack before dinner and will be back for dinner the same day! Visit this place if you like good quality Mexican food. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic hole in the wall! Food was fantastic and service was great! We came in with a group of 7 and got nervous we would overwhelm them. But they cranked out the food fast! I got jerk chicken and I’d did not disappoint!

Took a detour to check this place out on a road trip. I was completely floored by how fresh all the ingredients were. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. I was highly impressed and would recommend stopping if you're nearby.

Loved it! Got the house special empanadas, three pulled pork tacos, and a shredded beef rice bowl. We asked for it without too much spice (we are wimpy!) and were advised perfectly. Everyone in the family loved all they ate! The fried sweet plantains that came with our food were a special delicious treat! Everything was fresh, tasty, and delicious. We especially appreciated the environmental packaging that was easily compostable. I am willing to pay a few extra dollars for details like that. Was it more than Taco Bell? Heck yes but the extra money was more than made up for by exceptional quality. Lovely young lady behind the counter went out of her way to confirm that I was not eating gluten as a choice, not because of Celiac‘s disease to make sure I was safe I what I was eating. THANK YOU! Overall: Absolutely try it, remember it’s a lunch place so don’t gripe about it being closed for dinner, and enjoy lovely Mexican flavors without the added MSG of processed food. (I honestly think the people who are complaining about the flavors are used to non-fresh foods, jarred sauces, and powdered a sauces other places sneak in.) Note to owners: Thank you and good luck! Also please consider free chips for an order over $20 and consider being open for take-out on Friday nights… it might well be worth your while once the word gets out! :-)

Outstanding empanadas and bowls. My wife and I are from Montclair and we both agreed the quality, packaging, presentation, ingredients were reminiscent of Montclair eateries. So exciting to have such flavorful, high quality food in our area. 5/5 can't wait to order again :)

The tacos were flavorful. Birria and brisket. Generous serving of meat and fixings. Beef empanadas were large and filled with meat. Generally bland and didn't standout flavor wise. My only complaint was the chaotic service. Extremely disorganized and inefficient. Staff standing around while others worked hard. Our order took an extra 15 minutes for a standard order. All said. Worth the wait.

Ordered four items online. Waited for at least 15 minutes past the time they told me to pick it up. Got all the way home and there were only three items in the bag. When I called the guy on the phone argued with me… Despite me having the receipt that showed I ordered four items and paid for four items. I sent my husband back over 20 minutes to go get the food and when he got there, the food wasn’t even made, and the guy was argumentative with him again. Very poor customer service.

We ordered Chimichanga and Burrito Bowl, and the serving size was quite decent than we have experienced in most of the other places. Taste wise, I really hoped that it would stand out, but unfortunately, it wouldn't. Gonna give a try again someday, but for now, my rating remains 3 out of 5.

Just went here on January 24, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Got 6 EMPANADAS Didn’t even give me sauce I asked for sauce they Said $.53 cents each you buy six empanadas and they don’t give you sauce I will never eat there again and they taste like shit and the oil had to be dirty cause they where dark I would never go there again Disgusting
