My husband and I come here every time we’re in town and tonight Samantha was a ROCK STAR! There was a huge rush right before close and she handled it like a BOSS! We were however sad at the fact she was the only one closing during such a busy time of year. We understand short staffing problems but leaving a young lady to have to tell customers that she was closed while serving easily 40 people alone was a bummer! She handled everyone with a smile and jokes but was clearly stressed she was alone.

I recently visited Rita’s Frozen Custard in Orange County with a friend, and it was such a great experience! I had a Concrete, and let me just say—the texture and sweetness were absolutely perfect. The creamy frozen custard with the mix-ins made every bite feel indulgent but not overly heavy. It’s honestly one of the best frozen custard treats I’ve had in a long time. My friend opted for a blended smoothie, and they loved it too. As someone who lives out of the area, I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m nearby. If I were local, this would absolutely be a regular stop for me—especially since I’m a huge fan of ice-based desserts, and Rita’s nails it. The shop itself was clean, had private parking (which is a huge plus), and wasn’t too crowded when we went. There were plenty of places to sit, so it’s perfect if you want to relax and enjoy your treat. The staff were really nice, which just added to the overall great experience. If you’re in Orange County and looking for a refreshing dessert, I highly recommend checking out Rita’s. Five out of five stars for both the quality of the treats and the welcoming atmosphere!

Tried this on vacation last week in carlsbad ca and i wanted more so i came to this location closer to me loved the service and flavors were TOTALLY DIFFERENT got island fusion strawberries ‘ cream and green apple All 10/10 will return soon!

A little bit of a PSA. Wifey and I seem to visit on the hottest of days and to say the least we are not the only ones. So here’s what we learned. A Gelati = combination of Ice and Soft Serve Custard. You can order an Ice alone. You can order hand scooped custard in a cup. So when you want a Gelati think combination of Ice Flavor and Soft Serve flavor. Hand scooped custard is not a typical option to top an ice. You can ask for it but there is an up charge of approx $2.50. Imagine learning this while at the counter and people behind on a hot day. Everyone was chill nobody got mad and the staff was super super friendly and patient. Truly a happy place with goodness to enjoy. Thanks Rita’s

It’s been a while since I’ve had Rita’s, so we decided to swing by since we were in the area. I absolutely love their vanilla custard—it’s so thick, creamy, and satisfying. It’s a shame they’ve closed so many locations because this is the closest one to me now, but it’s always such a treat when I get to have it!

I always get the Gelati but this time I got the 5 layer Gelati (Cherry Italian Ice & Chocolate/Vanilla Swirl Custard with the Unicorn sprinkles) and it was so amazing! I might need to start going daily!

You'll have to try some of the gelatos and mistos, I love the mango water ice more than anything. The staff here is very friendly and nice. The Establishment is very clean. The cash register is one of the more advanced pieces of equipment at this location which makes check out very quick. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this location

Took the family out for some dessert at Rita's this evening. What a great time we had. The location was great and the servers, Jaynee & Madison and were the BEST. Everyone in our party enjoyed trying all the flavors.

If you're not sure what to get, I'd recommend Gelati. It's a sherbet with soft ice cream at the bottom and top of the cup. You have choice of chocolate, vanilla or mixed for soft ice cream. And for sherbet, green apple, cherry, and mango is the best! You can mix up to 3 flavors I think. (Not sure) They let you sample as well. Custard - icecream Italian Ice - it's like sherbet shaved ice

I've had the mango ice w/vanilla custard = very good. I've tried the lemon ice it's bland. However the custard is so creamy add the mango. It's better than frozen yogurt or ice cream. I'm not going to totally forsake those 2. But you should 100% try this.

Everything is always fresh and delicious. Madison is always happy and helpful. She is detailed and gets our orders corrrect every time. She’s always happy to ask questions. The staff here is always friendly as well. The place is VERY CLEAN which is a plus. My kids and I love coming here. Worth every penny!!

Rita's never disappoints! I love the sugar free options. They always have yummy new flavors week to week. But you can only get the new flavors while supplies last. Then they are gone and you have to wait to try another time in the future.

The staff were great and the service was great. I was disappointed that the flavors posted on the electronic board were not correct. The server notified is of the discrepancy as we stepped up to order so we were scrambling to make new choices. I did enjoy the custard and Italian ice flavors I did sample and will be back for more.

Good custard and Italian ice but DO NOT GET A PUP CUP. They may advertise being pet friendly but what they don’t tell you is that for two dollars, you get a condiment cup of whipped cream and half a milk bone and I mean less than a teaspoon… I even asked the worker (who happened to be training) if they were being for real especially since the charge was snuck in after I had already inserted my card and they just shrugged! While I don’t blame the worker, this location nickels and dimes so beware.

The service was great nice kids but owner can have more people working there. Took over 40 minutes for our turn, and with no AC it felt awful. I had made a promise to my son to get some otherwise I would had left. Owner has to pay attention to these details.

The store is not organized properly. There are so many customers queuing up. There is only one person making ice cream in the entire store. The waiting time is very long.

This was my first time trying ritas italian ice and i will NOT be returning after finding a BROWNBANDED COCKROACH in my cup SO DISAPPOINTED.
