🌟9Pcs omakase dish is really exquisite, and they are all my favorite foods. Wanyu Yubei and Yuanbei sea urchin love ❤️. I also ordered several other sushi dishes, all of which are fresh and the rice is small enough to eat many. Sushi head star people said very satisfied, can eat sushi 🌟 other tempura 🍤 ramen 🍜 hand roll sushi rolls can be ordered, but I really can not eat so much [frown R] ordered roasted mussels, this I ordered several times haha. I also had fried tofu and grilled salmon, which were delicious. I think the ramen at the next table 🍜 is also delicious 🌟 They also have kebabs, which are provided in a special way. Every once in a while one of their staff will bring them out to each table and distribute them. I had the chicken and spring onion kebabs, and they were all offered randomly, and it seemed to me that the menu would have grilled chicken skin or something

Excellent all-you-can-eat sushi! Fresh fish, generous portions, and quick service. One of the better AYCE sushi spots around.

I enjoyed my time and food! I want to start off by saying that most AYCE sushi places do not offer fancy fish options (bc it’s AYCE), but I was pleasantly surprised by the fancy selection (including the limited bluefish tuna)! I really loved the tuna tartare and yuzu yellowtale nigiris. They don’t put too much rice in the nigiri’s to get you full either. For someone who goes to many different AYCE sushi places, the price is reasonable, quality is better than most, and the service was nice. I recommend going on a day or time that’s not too busy as they are popular! I’ll be going again very soon~

Sushi was fresh and good quality for an all you can eat. The place is nicely lit and spacious. The rice to fish ratio is perfect as I didn't want to fill myself with too much rice. I got the omakaze experience which was good priced compared to other restaurants. Sungwoo was our server and was very nice and helpful.

Attentive service that genuinely checks in on you throughout the meal made us feel well‑looked after. The sushi is fresh fish, perfect rice ratio, and the omakase is a must-try! Highly recommended for sushi lovers seeking quality and care in every dish!

Eat all you can? Eat until you are so full? How can we resist! In a modern setting, All the delicious and fresh not from frozen fish cuts is at XFish. We left very full and very satisfied. Worth money spent. The service crew is very friendly and helpful to us firsttimers. However the man at cashier had a strong harsh tone and wasnt so friendly or helpful. Maybe he was going through a bad breakup🤣 But his attitude sure does leave a sour taste despite the good experience. Still a great place to eat fresh deliciious new style Japanese.

It was my first time at X-fish and I was so excited to try the sushi here. My friends and I are huge sashimi, nigiri and carpaccio lovers so that's exactly what we ordered. We had the omakase option which came with a chef choice set of 9 and also the unlimited menu of nigiris, rolls, appetizers, ramen and udon! The fish quality was up to par, so fresh and tasty. I was blown away by the salmon and the bluefin tuna, they're my favorite type of fish! The thing I really like most about the nigiri here is the rice to fish proportion! I love how they don't load up on rice for each piece so you can really enjoy the fish itself. As for the appetizers, I recommend getting the takoyaki and the baked mussels, and if you're a cheese person, the cheese balls were good too. In terms of the interior, it was a clean and modern environment. Service was quick and attentive! If you're worried about parking, don't worry, the parking structure is right around the corner!

X fish is the perfect spot for a sushi date or a place to go yap with your friends. We got the omakase set and it was so good. The fish were all so fresh and so delicious. Our server was really helpful with bringing out stuff out and explaining to us how the menu works. The omakase also comes with ayce. They have such a wide variety of sushi to choose from to rolls, appetizers, udon, ramen, carpaccio, sushi. They also walk around with chicken skewers and they were soooo good I loved it so much. We definitely would come back again.

More please..... is what I wasn't able to say because I was so full at the end of my course, what an experience for a first timer at an Ayce sushi bar! I was always skeptical of the all you can eat in terms of fish quality, but my mind has since changed after dining here. Don't worry about not being able to decide on rolls or sushi, you can get it all. The quality was insanely good, on cut rolls and sushi and the creativity with the rolls was outstanding as well! The restaurant boasts this warm and simple vibe throughout the inside, with almost everything the same wood color. The hospitality of the staff was too notch too, with servers constantly coming by to collect plates and take orders. I got hooked on this place, it's definitely worth it!

We have been to a lot of the restaurants in downtown brea, and many are overpriced, with ok to good food. However, X-Fish is not only amazing value, but it is very high quality and fresh. This place is so good in fact that not only will we be coming back, we will be recommending it to anyone who wants to know what the top places to eat in Brea are! 5 stars across the board!

It was our first visit and Daniel was very kind and patient with my elderly parents. We chose the signature menu and found it to be an incredible value! Everything we ordered was fresh and well-prepared. Two rounds of sushi were more than enough food for us, especially with the Izakaya items. Highly recommend!!

An AYCE sushi place. 2 different menus: signature/$39, and omakase/$55. Dining time is 90 minutes . The dining area is bright and spacious. Staff is attentive and friendly. Had the signature. Food tastes good, and fish is fresh. A pretty good dining experience here

I’ve been wanting to check out this sushi spot for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did! I went during lunch and was really impressed — for $55, you get a great quality omakase-style experience with all-you-can-eat nigiri and a generous selection of appetizers. The sushi was fresh and flavorful — my favorites were the scallop, bluefin tuna, and salmon. I appreciated that the nigiri came with just the right amount of rice, so the focus stayed on the fish. As for the appetizers, I tried the ramen, agadashi tofu, shrimp tempura, and salmon collar — all solid and tasty. There were also some specialty rolls on the menu that looked great, but I was too full to try them this time. Overall, I think this is a great spot for groups or anyone looking to try a variety of dishes at a really good value. Still can’t believe everything I had was only $55!

Okay, I've tried a lot of all-you-can-eat sushi spots, especially around Orange County, and honestly, most of them are pretty "meh." You usually get what you pay for, which is often a ton of rice and questionable fish. But we just tried the newly opened X Fish in downtown Brea, and they're playing a whole different game. I went in with just "okay" expectations, like I always do for AYCE, and I was genuinely blown away. First off, the place itself is nice & clean with a modern vibe. No sticky tables or weird smells – already a win. The fish tasted legit fresh. We tried their omakase, some fried tempura appetizers, and a bunch of nigiri. And I was actually tasting the fish, not just a mouthful of rice. The service was on point too. Our servers were super friendly and quick. They kept our drinks full and plates cleared without us even having to ask. Lots of free parking available at the nearby indoor parking structure.

Really great sushi joint. The ramen is a nice novelty, the chicken skewers are a surprising winner, but you're there for the sushi. Recommend the chirashi and the edamame. Service is attentive and quick.

I had doubts about the omakase being worth it. I’ve tried it at the Buena Park location before and it was honestly worse than their regular sushi bar, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were in their grand opening stage. This time, I loved it. The waitress didn’t explain what any of the cuts were, unfortunately, but the quality and freshness of the fish were pristine. The nigiri were meticulously plated and topped with various garnishes that complemented the flavor of each fish. I can’t choose a favorite because I genuinely loved them all. We also ordered some times from the sushi bar: salmon, tuna tartare, yuzu yellowtail, unagi, surf clam, and bluefin tuna. These were alright. I would only order the salmon and unagi again. I’d pass on the carpaccio and craft red ramen next time, but I’d definitely order the limited items again. The jumbo scallop, smoked salmon, and ikura were delicious. And finally, the yolo roll. Rolls are such a fun way to change up the scene from all the nigiri and this one was refreshing and a good size that doesn’t make you too full. We went around 9 p.m. on a Tuesday, so there was no wait and the service was pretty quick. It’s located right next to the parking structure too, so it’s a very convenient walk.

2nd time here and I have to say it’s still incredible. Came here with a few friends during a Monday night. One friend was skeptical on the quality for $55 AYCE. He walked away pleasantly surprised. Well worth it. We all got the Omakase and by the 2nd round I was stuffed. Got some hand rolls, yellowtail collar, Chicken Karaage mixed in with the sushi and sashimi. Definitely will return when I’m back in Brea.

A friend of mine treated me here, it's a decent all-you-can-eat sushi place. We ate on a weekday lunch and it came to $240 for 6 people including drinks. Including the tip, the sushi was good and unlike other places, they don't give you too much rice on purpose. I personally recommend the udon. There's plenty of parking nearby. If you go late at lunch, you might have to wait outside. The atmosphere is good. However, the air conditioner was turned up too high, so it was cold in the winter. You can only order three servings of all-you-can, but it should be plenty.

We absolutely love X fish. The food is amazing. Our server Daniel is especially awesome. He always goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of! Him and the rest of the Xfish team make my experience worth coming back to every time. Never going anywhere else for AYCE!

The staff was attentive, even when it started to get busy. Food was delicious, and the lemonade was the perfect balance of tart and sweet! I loved that they had an additional menu online when you scan the QR code besides just sushi. The spicy miso ramen was perfect. One of the staff members went around with these chicken skewers and they were FANTASTIC. I came here because I saw it in a Vanilla Mace vlog, and she said it was good. Can agree, it was amazing. My only issue is I wish the ambience was cozier. It felt too open and too sterile, because the lighting was so bright. Maybe next time I'll request being sat outside? I'm not sure. But overall it was wonderful!

Came here with my friends and had such a good time. The all-you-can-eat is 100% worth it. We got the signature and tried pretty much everything — all super yummy. The fish was really fresh and the quality was honestly impressive for AYCE. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the place itself was nice and clean. Great vibes, great food, and definitely a spot I’d come back to.

It was my first time at X fish izakaya and it certainly won’t be my last. Our server Daniel answered a lot of our questions. During lunch they have an AYCE special for $29 or you can upgrade to the Omokase level at $55. I definitely think it’s worth it. You get an order of the chefs finest cuts of sushi and a lot more to choose from. The service was fast and friendly. You order the nigiri sushi using the paper order sheet. The rolls, hot food, and drinks are ordered through your phone with the QR code they give you. The black garlic ramen was awesome. We also picked up the garlic albacore roll and the X fish specialty roll. Free parking is available just steps away from the restaurant. It’s got some beautiful decor and plenty of open space for big parties. Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back! Reservations are highly recommended.

I met my friend here for lunch and we wanted to try the premium items which is the all you can eat Omakase at $55. She introduced me to the yellow tail collar and it’s so delicious, I can’t believe I never tried this. I also recommend the Agedashi tofu , shishito peppers, calamari, but most of all the chef choice plate was fantastic and beautifully displayed. I love how fresh it is. I only wish I had more of the “hon maguro”! Such a satisfying meal.

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty crowded. Our waiter explained how the menu works for each tier. We decided on the $55 omakase which includes the premium AYCE menu and 9 specialty fish. Every piece we ordered tasted super fresh and paired so nicely with the fresh wasabi. My favorite was the yellowtail collar and garlic edamame. We also ordered a black tonkatsu ramen and the broth was delicious and flavorful. We were stuffed and definitely over ordered. So make sure to bring your appetite!

My first thought was, this place is going to be EXPENSIVE. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was priced fairly and that it was all you can eat. I normally don't like all you can eat sushi but this place was great. My kid actually tried new fish and other rolls and liked them. The atmosphere was great, very nice for its price point. I'll definitely be back.

Is X-Fish Izakaya Brea the best sushi in town? I THINK SO My family and I had another opportunity to visit our friends at X-Fish Izakaya Brea, and we are glad we did. Service was attentive and welcoming and as expected the food was exceptional. The minimalist plating allows the natural colors and textures of the fish to speak for themselves, each piece of food plated appears to give nod; like an invitation for us to appreciate the food before devouring it. I loooove the ambiance as it shows a respect to tradition, honoring fresh ingredients, and leaves a person wanting to plan the next visit even before paying the bill. So if you looooove sushi come visit X-Fish Izakaya Brea.

One of my new favorite AYCE sushi restaurants in OC :-) I've been to their Buena Park location but only had their a la carte menu. So I was super stoked to finally try their omakase! Everything we ordered: - Sake salmon - Hamachi yellowtail - Ebi shrimp - Katsuo x-fish salmon - Yuzu yellowtail - Hon maguro bluefin tuna - Sake no kunsei smoked salmon - Albacore carpaccio - Tuna carpaccio - Spicy salmon handroll - Salmon skin handroll - Chef's choice set of 9 (x 2) The fish to rice ratio was absolutely perfect; they didn't have too much rice so it wasn't immediately filling. I was surprised to see that I still had the appetite and stomach for rounds 2 and 3. It's so rare to see sushi places do this right. Their fish was fresh, tender, and so yummy. Overall, quick service, friendly staff, pretty interior, abundant seating and parking. I have no complaints & will definitely be back!!! NOTE: They charge for leftovers including rice so be mindful of what you order!

The sushi and sashimi is some of the best I've had anywhere. Visiting from out of state and this place was recommended for a great experience. I'm not a fan of all you can eat sushi but decided to try it since it was recommended. Here you pay an amount and fill out a card for sushimi and specials that gets picked up by a server, and order sushi hand rolls and more on an app that goes directly to the chefs. It's made fresh each time you place an order. You certainly get your money's worth in quality and quantity. This puts a whole new spin on all you can eat. The service was good, just very busy and the atmosphere also good, clean and very busy as well with ppl coming and going. The turnover is quick. It can get a bit noisy so if you are looking for a quiet place to eat this may not be the spot but it is pleasantly appealing still. Will definitely return up on my next visit to Cali.

X Fish serves up fresh, high-quality sushi with options for a $55 Omakase or an AYCE sushi menu. I especially loved their fresh uni scallop and all the different cuts of salmon — everything tasted so fresh and buttery. The service was excellent, and the warm, inviting interior made the dining experience even better. Parking was a breeze too, since there’s a lot right by the restaurant.

We were craving for sushi after spending two weeks in Japan in May, 2025, where we had sushi almost every day! The sushi at X-Fish Izakaya was high quality and comparable to sushi we had in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The service was excellent as well.

B
Bryan Vadhin

Service was pretty friendly though it felt rushed, understandably though it was peak lunch hour. Their lunch special is $28 for AYCE and it has a good selection of items though you are still missing half the menu. The tripepper seared salmon, surf crab, and scallop sushi were pretty good. I'd definitely come back here again for the price and quality is worth it if you're not in the mood for something really boujee.

We went with the omakase menu option at XFish and had a great experience. Each piece of sushi was incredibly fresh and thoughtfully crafted, with a nice variety that kept things interesting. The fish-to-rice ratio was well balanced, which made every bite feel just right. One of the highlights of the omakase is the unlimited hon maguro (bluefin tuna), which we definitely took advantage of. I also recommend getting the carpaccio. It’s limited to one order per person, but it’s absolutely worth it. We arrived around 8:30pm and didn’t get to try the pass-around menu. I’m guessing they ran out by then, so I’d suggest going earlier if you want to catch that. Overall, great ambiance, solid food, and plenty of parking. Would definitely come back again, especially for the tuna.

Great place to experience a large variety of sashimi. Fish portions are good size with small rice which gives you a chance to eat lots of protein with filling up. Also works well in small and large groups. You have 90 mins to finish the all you can eat session. The longest wait is the skewers. We didn’t get a round of it during our 90min, which was a little disappointing.

New AYCE Sushi Spot in Downtown Brea This is the second location of the X-Fish franchise, and as of my visit (6/20/24), they had just opened two days prior. Everything felt fresh and new—tidy space, decent ambiance, and overall pretty good food. One unique touch: staff periodically brings around appetizer plates. During my visit, it was a tray of yakitori skewers. They looked freshly grilled, but were served refrigerator-cold—surprising and not super appealing. The sushi itself isn’t gourmet-level, and the nigiri felt a bit disjointed—like the rice and fish weren’t quite in sync. Still, at $40 per person for all-you-can-eat, it’s a fair value. For the price, clean setting, and location, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you're in downtown Brea.

The sushi at xFish in Brea is fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the visit. We enjoyed a wide variety of rolls and appetizers, and everything was well-prepared and delicious. The all-you-can-eat menu offers great value and quality. The only downside was the lack of a warm welcome upon arrival — no greeting or acknowledgment, which left the first impression a bit cold. Fortunately, the excellent food made up for it. If you’re in the mood for good sushi, xFish delivers on taste — just don’t expect much in the way of customer service.

I apologize, in advance, for not knowing the names of everything we tried. Hopefully, this review is still useful. My wife and I aren't sushi connoisseurs, but we do eat it several times a year for decades. This place is new to us as we're not from the immediate area. The Food. The variety and preparation of the sushi itself were all on target, with us being surprised by the quality being so good, this being an AYCE-only restaurant. The flavors here are subtle, however. If you're wanting intense flavors, this isn't really the place. I thought the shrimp tempura was salty, but my wife disagreed. The garlic edamame was VERY good. The fresh rolls were tried were all good, but nothing was amazing. In the end, the place was solid for an AYCE establishment. The Service. The staff is fantastic, but things were pretty slow. The white was fine, even in a Saturday night, but it did take a long time to get the food once ordered. The Atmosphere. It's pretty loud. Like... it's actually hard to hear due to a combination of the acoustic characteristics of the restaurant, the music, and the number of people. The patrons were fairly diverse, with Asians, Latinos, Blacks and Whites all dining that night. Ages were teens with parents up to retired couples. Would I go again? If I'm in Brea and want sushi (and want AYCE) yes, I'd give it a shot. The price $40 for the standard AYCE is higher than I'd like it to be, but eh... Should YOU try it? Probably. Most people don't know what they're talking about when it comes to food because they can't cook. Seriously. These same people will absolutely write reviews. I highlight this because a few of the reviews are pretty negative, but my experience (as a person who actually CAN cook) was pretty positive. I hope this helps.

Minimalist all you can eat sushi restaurant, that is near the heart of downtown Brea. The nigiri selection is decent with little rice under the pieces of fish. The rolls are pretty tasty, but go for the specialty rolls instead of the basic ones. There is a 90 minute time limit, and service is slow, so best to put in a big order in the beginning for the nigiri and then get the kitchen dishes and rolls after if still hungry. The line up is crazy long so best put yourself on the yelp waitlist before heading down.

Premium AYCE Sushi restaurant in Brea. Place is clean and nicely decorated. Sushi is average (not mid but not the best). Servers are not that attentive and neither pleasant. It can get crowded.

Similar vibe to the Buena Park location but with what feels like more space since the sushi bar isn't in the center of the restaurant. Sushi is ordered on paper, hot food and drinks are by the QR code. The occasional yakitori makes its way around the restaurant every so often. Dishes that have sauce on it tend to swim in the sauces which made it feel like we were missing out on the ingredients. The crab croquette was more of just fried mayo in a cute heart shape. Ramen was pretty good and a decent amount that wouldn't put you over after one bowl. Overall opinion, great spot for some sushi in the neighborhood and some options better than other AYCE options for 40/person. You'll honestly pay about the same amount for a couple rolls and appetizer at a regular sushi restaurant. Try to leave room for the premium sushi and you can probably skip the carpaccio with the pico de gallo.

The food is decent - the service was not . We enjoyed the sushi itself - went with the Signature menu . They had some interesting appetizers and different options for sushi. We ordered the takoyaki , and the shishito peppers - the peppers were good ! Takoyaki not bad! The sushi was decent for sure but the servers forgot about us and our order several times and when I reminded them that they didn’t bring out our order no one seemed to communicate with anybody. The manager ( I think. ) came over and said well they’re working on it - we waited almost 30 minutes for our last order 🤷‍♀️ kind of weird but he didn’t even apologize. I get they can be busy but it just brought the explained down . :/ seems like a popular spot though !

Foods good, a little on the pricey side but its quality. Service is eh, waters dont really get filled, you have to call the server though your phone so its not like traditional sit down service. the atmosphere is busy and on the louder side. Wish seating was a bit more comfortable and there was an ability to place reservations.

Place is ridiculously loud, service is fast and dismissive and servers are not friendly at all. younger people have 0 clue of etiquette i mean my server had a huge hickey on her neck it was distracting. Food is very decent to good lots of variety on the menu. Please train your servers to be more polite and attentive.

We came here to celebrate a family member’s birthday before heading to an improv show nearby. The interior is nice — clean, open, and modern — and service was relatively quick, which made it a convenient pre-show dinner spot. Unfortunately, the food quality was inconsistent, and some dishes were genuinely disappointing. The biggest issue was the fish carpaccio. The tuna was chewy, unnaturally bright red, and topped with pico de gallo, which felt like an odd and unsettling combination. It was honestly one of the most uncomfortable dishes I’ve had at a sushi restaurant. The nigiri was acceptable but nothing memorable — fine at best, and not something I would go out of my way for. Overall, the experience reinforced a growing feeling I’ve had about all-you-can-eat sushi spots: they often prioritize volume and perceived value over fish quality and proper preparation. Food: 2.5/5 Service: 4/5 – Quick and attentive Ambiance: 4/5 – Clean, open, and modern Overall, I’m giving X-Fish a 3 out of 5. While the space and service were solid, the fish quality — especially the carpaccio — really missed the mark. I probably won’t be back, and this experience confirmed that I’d rather spend my money at restaurants that specialize in sushi rather than AYCE concepts focused on quantity over quality.

Nice area, easy parking and services are attentive. Just missing one thing, food. We ordered omakase set which is $55 each person a very budget price. However, every pieces sushi are salted. I drink my lemonade before I finish my omakase set and asking for a refill which they don't have for lemonade. I understand your house your rule but your salted sushi is beyond understanding. To be fair the pickle is not salted or flavored 🤔. Maybe have the chef with huge poster outside dinning place actually try sushi for once?

The first time at this X-fish location, we waited an hour in line, and waited another while for the food. This is the second time at this location, waited 30 minutes for the line which is fine because there is 7 of us, but waiting about an hour for the first round, asked for the rest of the order another 30 minute wait, and 45 minutes for the second round, where we waited yet again. We started a timer after waiting an abnormal while for the first round. Our order wasnt even fully completed, and ended up waiting even longer when we asked where the other part of the order was. Even the beers we ordered at the beginning, only one glass showed up when we ordered 5. This is the single most worst and slow service at a sushi place in the last few years after covid. My family goes to Asahi sushi van buren and the other X-fish location at buena park usually. We always go sushi to celebrate birthdays by the way. All 7 birthdays. Its kinda crazy that both times we went here at this location, service was slow, even after following up the order. Hey, at least the sushi is good. Freshest scallop we've had in the state today. Our family of 7 will not be coming back though. Thank you for hosting us the last couple visits.

We were really excited when we arrived, but there was already a long line at 5:00 PM. Luckily, we were seated after about 40 minutes, which honestly wasn’t too bad. We were seated in the extended area, which felt more like sitting along a walkway—not the nicest seating experience. We opted for the signature menu option. Some items were limited to one per person, including salmon, hamachi, tuna, albacore carpaccio, ikura, bluefin tuna, and jumbo scallop. Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing overall. The “jumbo” scallop ended up being only half a scallop per person. The albacore was very dry with a rubbery texture. We also ordered several hot dishes, but none of them arrived hot, which is pretty basic for an AYCE spot. The ramen came in cute small bowls—nice for sampling different flavors—but nothing stood out. The agedashi tofu was especially disappointing: cold on the inside, with only a few drops of sauce drizzled on top instead of being served in a proper sauce bowl. The soft-shell crab roll was another miss—the crab was still icy and had a strong frozen taste. On the positive side, the salmon, yellowtail, and tuna were pretty good, and the service was excellent. Overall, while the service was great, the food quality and seating didn’t live up to the hype or the long wait.

The servers were friendly, but the host/manager was rude. The omakase tasted good, though the premium sushi is not all-you-can-eat. I would have given this place 4 stars if not for the host/manager. We waited 45 minutes on a night when the restaurant was only about 70% full. Several parties who arrived after us were seated first. When I asked the manager why, he said it was because they were parties of four, which didn’t make sense since there were at least seven empty four-top tables available. Ironically, after all the other four-person parties were seated, we were finally placed at a four-top table as well—30 minutes later.

We've eaten at this restaurant multiple times and gave it five stars in 2024, but it's getting worse and worse! We went there again today and the service was so bad I couldn't stand it! The salmon I ordered was seriously spoiled and stinky! We called the manager who was serving us, complained, but he just took away the fish, looked at it to confirm it was bad, said something to the staff that we couldn't hear, and then ignored us completely! He didn't apologize at all! He was very rude and completely impolite! We ate there at noon and now we're all having diarrhea! This restaurant has serious food hygiene and safety issues! It definitely doesn't seem to be a legitimate Japanese restaurant with proper management! It's terrible! We should report this to the relevant government agencies so they can investigate and take action! I also want to warn all other diners to be very careful!!!

I understand and respect restaurant policies, including the rule that a full party must be present before being seated. That wasn’t the issue for us. We were a party of four, and unfortunately our fourth person accidentally went to their other different location. While we waited nearly an hour, we had an elderly, disabled family member with us who needs to eat on time. We politely asked if the three of us could be seated while holding the table for the fourth person once he arrived. What made this especially disappointing was that there was NO wait that day ( Feb 8 , 12:30 noon to 2:30pm) and MANY open tables available. Despite this, there was zero flexibility or compassion shown for our situation. The staff strictly enforced the rule without any consideration for a senior with special needs. This experience felt unnecessarily rigid and lacking basic customer care. Policies are important, but so is empathy, especially when accommodating elderly or disabled guests wouldn’t have impacted other customers at all. Because of this poor customer service and lack of compassion, we won’t be returning to this Brea location.
