Opinions de Bar Trattoria l'Arcangelo Brescia
What can I say? I've always had a wonderful time at this restaurant! Not only is the place welcoming and pleasant, but the staff is also friendly and very helpful, always attentive to everyone's needs, including intolerances and allergies—a consideration that's not always a given. I went with a nice group of friends and we ordered a cured meats appetizer, puff pastry strudel, and grilled polenta with gorgonzola. Next, a first course of casoncelli and, for the main course, a tagliata (a sliced steak) with a side dish. We finished off with dessert and coffee. The portions are always generous, so you leave feeling truly satisfied. The highlight for me was the tagliata (a sliced steak): truly delicious, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The dessert also deserves a special mention, because you can truly taste the homemade flavor. Plus, the price is excellent for the quality and quantity of the dishes. In short, a consistently pleasant and authentic experience: I'll definitely be back!
What can I say? I'm positively amazed by the uniqueness of this place, located in a deconsecrated church, with a delicious vegetable and dessert buffet, and generous dishes (first course, second course, and water) for just €12, a truly rare find these days! Truly excellent! Definitely worth returning for the workers' menu Monday-Friday. Super fast service!
I was traveling on the motorway, there was a queue, luckily for me I went out, I had lunch at Trattoria L' Arcangelo, excellent dishes in a beautiful atmosphere. Good rate Thank you
Since it's a trattoria, I can only compliment the food, wine, and location. Everything was very good and plentiful, starting with the appetizers, 2 first courses, and 2 second courses, and the wine was very good. I recommend it if you're hosting a large dinner with friends or a business meeting. The only flaw is that since it's a deconsecrated church with a high roof, voices get lost, and the rooms are too noisy. But as I said, that's quickly overcome by the truly exceptional food.
A well-maintained restaurant, unique in its location, housed in a small church, obviously no longer used for liturgies and therefore deconsecrated. The church features the original façade, bell tower, and frescoed ceiling. There's also a large mirror and large paintings with gilded baroque frames. The food is authentic and excellent, beautifully presented, and the service is fast and attentive. We enjoyed appetizers on a platter, casoncelli alla bresciana, gnocchetti with speck, and a trio of tagliata with mushrooms, arugula, and balsamic vinegar. Generous portions. Also recommended with Groupon vouchers. You can choose from a children's menu, pasta rossa, and cotoletta e patate at a good price.
Super
We booked using a coupon found on Groupon. The menus included various appetizers (house-made cold cuts, savory pie, bruschetta, and polenta) with all-you-can-eat gnocco fritto (fried dumplings), two quick first courses (we ordered casoncelli and gnocchi), and a choice of second course (we chose a mix of meats with baked potatoes). The other menu included a 1kg Florentine steak as a second course (with the same appetizers but no first course). Everything was delicious and very filling. Recommended for those who want to eat a lot at a reasonable price.
Ratings: Cuisine: 18/20 (Tasty and plentiful dishes, quality ingredients) Place: 10/20 (Unique but overused historic location, terrible acoustics) Courtesy: 12/20 (Slow service and little attention to detail) Price: 20/20 (Exceptional value for money) Overall Rating: 76/100 Analysis by Category: Cuisine: The cuisine at "L'Arcangelo" won over the judges with tasty dishes prepared with quality ingredients. The pasta with clams was flavorful and plentiful, as was the cannelloni with meat sauce. The main courses, such as the pork fillet and the stew, were also cooked to perfection. The breading of the cod was also highly praised. The value for money is truly exceptional, considering the quality of the dishes and the generous portions. Side dishes are served as a buffet. Location: The location is undoubtedly "L'Arcangelo's" strong point. Dining in a deconsecrated church from the 12th century, admiring the original frescoes, is a unique experience. However, the dining room was overcrowded with tables, creating a noisy and incoherent atmosphere. The acoustics, typical of churches, further amplified the noise, making conversation difficult. Courtesy: The service was a bit slow and lacked attention to detail. Some errors in the orders and dishes brought to the table well before the scheduled time slightly detracted from the overall experience. Price: The business lunch menu is very competitively priced, especially considering the quality of the food and the historic location. Unlimited tap water is an added bonus. Conclusion: "L'Arcangelo" is a restaurant with enormous potential, thanks to its unique location and the quality of its food. However, some aspects, such as the acoustics, the overcrowding in the dining room, and some inaccurate service, detracted from the overall experience. If you're looking for an authentic dining experience and are willing to compromise on atmosphere, "L'Arcangelo" might be a good choice. It's not comparable to a trattoria, but the lack of parking in front of the restaurant might deter some diners. Final Rating: 3.8/5 stars
I should point out that I discovered this place thanks to a Groupon deal, which meant we ate a fantastic meal for half the price: entrées, appetizers, cheeses, and unlimited fried gnocchi. The gnocchi in particular are delicious, especially paired with the cold cuts from the menu. The location is truly top-notch; our table was inside a deconsecrated church from the 13th century, with original frescoes, paintings, and many elegant aesthetic details.
Nice location, even if it's not in the best neighborhoods of Brescia. Very friendly and helpful staff. The typical Brescian food is good, served in generous portions. We had the all-you-can-eat gnocco fritto, and it was very filling. Everything was fine. The price was in line with the location and quality. Private parking is available on-site.

This restaurant is located in a deconsecrated church. I can only review it for the business lunch, which I consider to be of a good standard, with a buffet, good first and second courses, and generous portions. The price is absolutely affordable compared to other restaurants offering business menus.
Ok
The restaurant is located in San Polo along the main road, opposite the Alfa Acciai steelworks. It's notable for its location in an old church. It has a small parking lot, but it's best to park in the one just before it if you're coming from Brescia, or just after it if you're coming from out of town. The food is typically business-style, but still good. I had the pasta all'arrabbiata, which was good and just the right amount of spicy, and then the baby octopus with peas, which I found bland and overcooked. The mussels were good. The dishes were plentiful, however.
Good service and local dishes on the menu, food was OK but a bit pricey for quality
The Archangel is located in a deconsecrated church. It would be a beautiful setting if it were more carefully maintained. Working lunch with a buffet appetizer full of garlic that I couldn't digest all day. The meatloaf I ordered was simply awful: mushy, falling apart, and lacking any distinct flavor. I won't be returning.
