An intimate and welcoming place. Everything was delicious, from the starters to the main courses and desserts. Excellent value. The self-taught chef delighted our palates. The friendly and attentive service was also excellent, and we even received compliments from the waitress for always being a smiling guest. It was a true pleasure. A smile and kindness cost nothing. We stumbled upon it by chance...everything was excellent. A small but very welcoming osteria. Following the owner's advice, we ordered four delicious first courses: exquisite pappardelle with hare ragù, superb casoncelli alla bresciana, tagliatelle with tomato sauce, which my little one devoured, and finally the dish of the day...a delicious pasta and beans. For the main course, the polenta with melted cheese was indescribable, and another typical local stuffed dish was excellent. The tiramisu was also impressive. If I were to return to Brescia, I'd definitely return. Highly recommended.

I strongly recommend this place in Brescia. I had lunch with a friend and we had great food at a very reasonable price, and we enjoyed a cheerful and warm hospitality from the owners. I had a delicious bruschetta as starter and pork filet medallions are main dish, with baked potatoes. Everything was delicious. They also served a refreshing local beer. The dessert was a very good tiramisu, honestly one of the best one I ever had, very balanced and tasty. We ate while sitting at a table in the alley - it was very quiet as there is no car traffic there. Overall, truly a positive experience! If you happen to visit Brescia, this is an ideal place for a great meal in a cheerful and positive atmosphere.

Very nice place in the city center, but out of the way. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We tried various dishes and they were very good; perhaps I would make them a little larger. The first courses were delicious, and the second courses were good. The wine selection, including bulk wine, was also very good. I would return.

Locale buono, prezzi ragionevoli e qualità buona, con alcuni piatti tipici della regione come i Casoncelli fatti in casa. Non particolarmente buona la cotoletta, con una panatura non molto croccante. Ottima la scelta tra i vini locali, tra i 18€ e i 40€ a bottiglia

A true trattoria, just the way we like them, right in the heart of Brescia, offering typical dishes as well as more original creations. The bruschetta with bacon and honey is divine, as are the casoncelli with hare ragù and black truffle. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high (expect to pay between €40 and €50 per person, including a bottle of wine for four people), hence my 4-star rating.

Pranzi di lavoro di una banalità imbarazzante: scelta limitata a due sole opzioni per portata. Il menù costa 13,50 € e comprende un primo, un secondo, un contorno, l'acqua e il caffè. I piatti non sono scritti all'esterno, ma vengono comunicati all'interno quando ci si accomoda. Quando sono andato io a pranzo, quel giorno i primi a scelta erano: - pasta all'amatriciana - gnocchi di patate al burro versato I secondi, invece: - uova al tegamino con prosciutto cotto - carne alla pizzaiola. Come contorni, invece, si poteva scegliere l'insalata o la verza cotta. Se già a livello di premesse il menù si presentava banale e povero nelle scelte, anche a livello di sapori i piatti erano del tutto ordinari, per non dire mediocri. Per carità, a 13,50 € non mi aspettavo di certo i tagliolini al tartufo bianco e il manzo alla Wellington, ma neanche una simile presa in giro. Può darsi che come menù alla carta La Colonna sia un posto valido, ma un pranzo di lavoro così scarso non invoglia di certo a provare il menù più costoso. Nulla da ridire sul servizio.
