Visited the restaurant (not the hotel) a couple of times in the past week as the food, service and ambiance of the place is great. It's a favourite place that I have returned to over the years and will keep returning to.

The rooms are a bit dated but they are warm and very clean. You will not find a hotel with a better atmosphere, staff treat and welcome you like family. Also the hotel has a drying room for ski gear and offer a special discount with one of the gear rental shops. I met some of the other guests who come to this hotel every year. If you come here, you will also want to come back every year.

Perfect location in the pedestrian area of the city center. Reservation is advised. Fancy inside, pretty elegant and despite of a full-house not crowded-feeling. Delicious food, a lot of meat and some great home made pasta. Not a huge choice of fish. Big wine list, but even the house wine (loose) is very good. Minus 1 star because of the service. Somehow friendly but totally disorganised appearing. Some thinks we needed to order twice because nobody and everybody of the service team seemed to be in charge. That's why the espresso came with some 15 min. delay, of course luke-warm. Very poor contact of the service team with the customers. Rather not trained or tired / lustless. Prices medium high, I believe adequate for such a place.

The waiters are much more friendly than usual in restaurants and the food is tasty, in particular pizzas and the dishes based on typical Valle D'Aosta's food. On the other hand, the cooking is pretty slow.

We ate in the restaurant so can’t comment on the hotel. Beautiful setting. However, it was extremely busy and the staff all appeared stressed and not particularly friendly. We were given a wine menu but no selection of other drinks/soft drinks which we borrowed from the adjacent table. Waited ages to order. When the food eventually came, it was all delicious (despite a piece of plastic being found in one of the pasta dishes - clearly evidence of rushed kitchen staff - however, the staff were apologetic and removed the dish from our bill and also gave a complimentary dessert). Overall, we were disappointed as the restaurant looked lovely and there was a great atmosphere.

Centrally located, close to the chairlift. Rooms are quite small, no coffee or tea-makers and unfortunately very loud at night as close to bars . Pizza for breakfast ;-)

Breakfast really poor, eggs were cold, no to little options of fruits, not many options on what to eat. To a 4 star hotel it was deceiving. Location for the ones doing ski is good. Lot of other options close by though. Staff in the restaurant at night was good and even if the breakfast was deceiving, the restaurant at night is good. Not recommended. I booked the best suite months ago for 3 nights, and they called me 2 days before the cancellation due date to tell me that they don't want to rent the suite anymore. So they forced me to cancel. And they offered some regular room. Not acceptable. This type of behavior is very bad. So I won't do use their services, as they don't consider their customer.

We are very disappointed with the hotel we booked before the Covid situation, which we trusted and and from which we didn’t withdraw our deposit throughout this period. It was such a long-awaited ski vacation, which unfortunately failed due to the wrong choice of hotel. Our first big disappointment was the room, which was very small and terribly cramped because there was a third person bed ,even though there were two of us. It was also very noisy (from the waste disposal) and the sink leaked on the third day . It was awful that we went home from skiing in a freezing ice room every day, because the maids turned off the radiators completely, and they didn't even change the big towels. The receptionist, who was Russian, was extremely unkind and unhelpful, she even allowed herself to disturb us at 11 pm at the door, for something that had nothing to do with us, I think she confused the floor and the room. But our biggest disappointment was the horrible, monotonous and poorly charged breakfast - the worst I've ever seen. The restaurant was very noisy and crowded, the food was ordinary, the service very slow. The hotel has a good location and interior, but we would never visit it again with the presence of this management - we do not recommend it to you!

This is an review of the restaurant. I have never eaten worse food or had worse service in Italy. No one in our company of 9 people finished their meals or deserts. When we brought it up with the waiter, they responded with “maybe you are full?”. After that we went to another pizzeria so we wouldn’t need to go hungry to bed. We had booked (through an travel agency) an week of 3-course meals at this restaurant. We decided to not go here anymore even though we already paid for it because it was so bad. I strongly advice not to eat here.
